Jeanty, drafted 6th overall in 2025, has become an afterthought in the Raiders offense midway through his second season. His usage has collapsed dramatically: 23 carries in the season opener, declining to 10 by October 11, then 8 against the Rams, and just 2 carries for 9 yards against the Jets despite the team running 28 times. He's averaging a paltry 3.5 yards per carry with only 6 career touchdowns and a 42% successful run rate. Most damning: he averages just 1.9 yards after contact and 1.5 yards before contact, revealing he lacks the explosiveness he showed in college and cannot create for himself, make people miss, or generate power from the backfield.
