Was Washington particularly spectacular on Sunday? No, but it's impossible to ignore the fact that he received 25 carries to Ashton Jeanty's two. Also, the Raiders' rushing attack did a much better job of staying on schedule than it has since the season opener.

Washington gets 25 carries vs Jeanty's 2; featured back role going forward

Washington received 25 carries to Ashton Jeanty's 2 in Week 8, establishing himself as the featured back. While not spectacular individually, the Raiders' rushing attack stayed on schedule much better than it has since the season opener. Given the Raiders' struggles running the ball, Kubiak should ride the hot hand and keep Washington as the feature back until proven otherwise, despite the small sample size and Jets missing their best run defender in T'Vondre Sweat.
