Downs' trade request and quiet performance signal end of Colts tenure.

After requesting a trade earlier in the week from Indianapolis, Downs was largely quiet with poor effort on a trick play fumble recovery, despite scoring the Colts' only touchdown on a 6-yard catch in the 3rd quarter. The source views Downs' recent indifference to the franchise that drafted him in the 3rd round of 2023 as surprising for a young player, and is ready to move on without him.
