NBC Sports Rotoworld on Josh Downs

Downs struggles without Pierce; Chiefs need his man-coverage skills (83.4 grade).

Downs has not been able to get going in the absence of Alec Pierce and is set to hit free agency in the spring. He operates at a similar ADOT to Rice and Kelce, but the larger issue is the lack of a man coverage answer for the Chiefs. Downs is 17th in the NFL at 83.4 PFF receiving grade versus man coverage, compared to Xavier Worthy's 72.1, making him an attractive fit for Kansas City.
