RB Saquon Barkley played just 32% of snaps but led the team in carries (13) and scored Philadelphia's lone TD. Barkley played 76% of snaps in the first quarter, 25% in the second quarter, 47% in the third quarter and 0% in the fourth. Before the fourth quarter, Barkley took 48% of snaps and 14 of 25 RB opportunities (56%). Barkley wants to stay with the team and has received assurances he won't be traded. And his role presumably won't be this small all season, but we also shouldn't count on it being what it was in 2024-25. There's at least upside for more RB target volume and a larger share of the goal-line carries with Jalen Hurts out of the picture. Still, it's hard to imagine anything beyond high-end RB2 value in this offense.

NeutralRole

Barkley's role volatile but has goal-line upside; unlikely to return to 2024-25 workload.

Barkley played just 32% of snaps but led the team in carries (13) and scored Philadelphia's lone TD; snap distribution was highly variable (76% Q1, 25% Q2, 47% Q3, 0% Q4), with 56% of RB opportunities pre-Q4. He wants to stay with the team and has received assurances against trade, but his role is unlikely to return to 2024-25 levels; high-end RB2 value is realistic unless the Eagles unleash him in an every-down role again.
