From the article

Tanner McKee hasn't transformed anything. It's the same offense, with the same limitations, and very little downfield passing game. That doesn't mean Hurts was playing perfectly or that McKee has played well. He hasn't.

McKee hasn't improved the offense; same limitations persist despite QB change.

The source evaluates McKee's performance as Hurts' replacement and concludes he has not transformed the offense. The Eagles produced +0.30 EPA per pass play from a clean pocket but -0.95 under pressure. The source notes McKee's play has been "pretty dull" with "almost no vertical passing game." While acknowledging McKee can make middle-of-the-field throws and that no quarterback would look good in this scheme, the source maintains that McKee hasn't solved the Eagles' offensive problems and that changing the quarterback was never going to fix systemic issues.
