Fangio calls McCarthy a 'steal' for Giants; praises his quick integration into offense

Vic Fangio, Eagles defensive coordinator, called the Giants' acquisition of J.J. McCarthy a "steal," noting that getting the tenth overall pick from the 2024 draft for only a fifth-round pick represents exceptional value. Fangio praised McCarthy's performance in a short period of time with the Giants, highlighting that he has "really done a nice job" integrating into an offense that blends Ravens-style scheme (under Greg Roman) with Kansas City-type passing concepts (under Matt Nagy).
