Williams' game-winning TD capped redemption arc after costly illegal formation penalty

Williams was involved in two extremely critical plays in the Lions' 19-15 win over Minnesota. After committing an illegal formation penalty on a third-and-inches play in the fourth quarter that led to a Vikings field goal and 15-12 lead, Williams responded with a redemption arc: he blocked aggressively downfield on a 69-yard, seven-play drive, then caught the game-winning touchdown on a play-action pass from Jared Goff in the goal-line offense. The mic'd up footage shows coaching staff (Dan Campbell and Scottie Montgomery) holding Williams accountable post-mistake, and Williams delivering when it mattered most.
