Penix needs bounceback after Bucs loss; Bengals' elite interior rush is threat

Penix needs a major bounceback performance in Week 9 after an absolute nightmare effort in the rain against the Buccaneers in Week 8. The source emphasizes that if the Falcons can keep Burrow from completely taking over the game, the offense will have to pull its weight, starting with Penix and the passing game. However, the Bengals' interior pass rush (Dexter Lawrence, Jonathan Allen, Kris Jenkins) poses a critical threat; Penix's pocket has reliably led to bad outcomes in 2026 when pressured, including sacks, fumbles, interceptions, and costly throwaways. The Falcons' interior offensive line will need to be very good to protect him.
