I'm in on Jayden Daniels this year... In 20 career games that he's played more than 85% of the snaps, JJ Daniels has QB2 over the last two seasons in points per game at 22.4. Only Josh Allen has averaged more points per game... I have him ranked ahead of Burrow... there's just more upside there if things really hit for him than Burrow.
STACKED’s take
QB2 PPG in 20 games; ranks ahead of Burrow with higher ceiling upside.
JJ Zachariason is bullish on Jayden Daniels as a bounce-back candidate with significant upside. In 20 career games with 85%+ snap share, Daniels averaged QB2 PPG at 22.4 over two seasons—only Josh Allen has averaged more. Despite worse passing metrics last season (completion percentage over expected down 5 points, success rate down 1.5 points), Zachariason emphasizes Daniels' rushing prowess (0.7 PPR per rush, ~6 PPG rushing) and the range-of-outcomes advantage of mobile QBs. He ranks Daniels ahead of Joe Burrow because of higher ceiling if things click, noting Daniels could throw 25 TDs while still outscore Burrow due to run-game involvement. New coaching staff (no Kliff Kingsbury) provides fresh opportunity. Daniels burned people last season due to injuries and underperformance, but Zachariason is confident in 2025 recovery and upside relative to Burrow's ADP premium.
