Purdy faces entirely new WR group with Evans, Kirk, and rookie Stribling; Kittle recovering from Achilles.

Purdy enters his fifth season with a dramatically different receiving corps. George Kittle remains but is recovering from an Achilles injury. Christian McCaffrey returns after a 2,126-scrimmage-yard, 17-TD 2025 season. At wideout, Mike Evans and Christian Kirk replace departing veterans Jauan Jennings and Kendrick Bourne; Brandon Aiyuk is also leaving. Rookie De'Zhaun Stribling (first-round pick) could develop into an increasingly important role. Third-year receivers Ricky Pearsall and Jacob Cowing round out the group.
