Jonathan Brooks is a round-12 league-winner with RB2 upside if healthy.
JJ Zachariason ranks Jonathan Brooks as RB34 versus ECR's RB42 and targets him as a high-ceiling league-winner candidate in round 12. Brooks was a second-round caliber prospect before injuries; Zachariason expects him to start with a change-of-pace and passing-down role early in the season, then ramp up weekly as he stays healthy and Chuba Hubbard's inefficiency becomes more apparent. Brooks will not explode in week one but should gradually earn more touches and eventually become the lead back. The only downside is injury risk, but at that late draft cost, the upside of a potential RB2 by season's end makes him a smash pick.

One of the running backs though that I think we should be targeting this range because they have a high ceiling is Jonathan Brooks. ECR has him as running back 42. He's my running back 34 in the rankings... I think he'll be drafted everywhere, but point being, he's not going to just explode in week one. I think they give him a change of pace role to start. I think they give him work in the receiving game. And then he basically just ramps up every week that he is able to maintain his health.
