Malite Neighbors was not a clean torn ACL. Malite Neighbors had to wait a significant amount of time to have surgery due to the swelling. So, from what I've read, it does seem like this is going to be something that lingers through training camp and in basketball drafts in particular.

Puka Uno expects the injury to linger through training camp and into the season. While the upgraded coaching staff and Jackson Dart as QB represent improvements, Uno is hesitant to project Nabers with confidence due to past mistakes underestimating injury recovery timelines.
