From the video

a team whose second running back is JK Dobbins is going to have both the low floor and a low ceiling uh at running back cuz like JK Dobbins got the ball like a bazillion times per game last year, and I believe JK Dobbins scored 10 and 1/2 points per game... JK Dobbins could be a top-12 running back. He just could be... the issue is is that he's probably not going to get the goal line stuff and he's not going to catch any passes at all... I think Dobbins is getting that. They made it a priority to get Dobbins.

Top-12 upside hampered by low ceiling as RB2; high volume but only 10.5 PPG last year.
Dobbins presents a conflicting profile: he could be a top-12 running back and was pacing well on all metrics before injury, but as a team's second running back, he creates both low floor and low ceiling at the position. He received high volume last year (described as "a bazillion times per game") but scored only 10.5 PPG, limiting upside in this roster construction. Primary concerns are lack of goal-line work and pass-catching role, though the Chargers made acquiring Dobbins a priority, suggesting they intend to use him heavily in the offense.
