De'Von AchaneRBMIA
Back-end round two ranking due to Miami's poor offensive environment and quarterback fit concerns. Speaker worries that Malik Willis will not target Achane in the passing game despite his elite receiving skills; Tua Tagovailoa dumped off frequently to running backs, but Willis as a mobile quarterback under pressure tends to run rather than check down. Without Mike McDaniel's play-calling and Tua's passing tendencies, Achane's target share is at risk. Vegas projects Miami for 4.5 wins; speaker expects fewer than five wins. Achane needs explosive plays to return value, but those are unpredictable year-to-year even for elite backs. Red zone touchdown distribution is uncertain with new coaching staff and Ali Gordon in the mix.

Devon Achan to me is a back-end round two guy for a ton of reasons that you've probably heard at Nauseium already. Miami is going to stink. The tough part with Han is that he's so good in the passing game, but I'm so worried about Malik Willis just not throwing him the ball very much... Tua was like the antithesis of that where all he wanted to do was dump off to running backs and that led to so much of Devon Han... I'd be surprised if they win five games this year. So you need Devon Chan in order to return value in my opinion.
