Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who had a better season last year than you remember...he ended up as a starter in his first ever NFL game, closed out the season in week 17, the championship week, against Dallas as the running back seven with 105 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns...we have JCM on Underdog going at pick 114...he's going much later than that...I think JCM is a better distance runner...I would consider him a premium target on zero running back teams
STACKED’s take
Undrafted RB7 in week 17 going late; positioned to keep starting role.
Undrafted free agent who started in his first NFL game and finished 2025 as RB7 in week 17 with 105 rushing yards and 2 TDs against Dallas. Now going at pick 114 on Underdog and even later on ESPN/Sleeper mock drafts, despite strong 2025 finish. With Chris Rodriguez departing and Rashad White expected to play the Austin Ekeler third-down role, Croskey-Merritt is positioned to retain the starting role he earned. Ke'Shawn Allen is the only meaningful competition, but Mattek Fantasy Football views Croskey-Merritt as a better distance runner and home-run hitter. Recommended as a premium target on zero RB and hero RB team constructions, with potential to finish inside the top 24 RBs in week one projections.
