Video: Ranking Every Week 17 WR and RB as a Start or Sit
Brian Thomas Jr. basically got shadowed by Patrick Certan and saw a ton of coverage from him... if Sauce does not suit up they're already without Trevarious Ward... Brian Thomas Jr. for me is going to be like near the top of the dub flex category. If Sauce is back, I expect similar treatment to what he saw against Derrick Stingley last week.

Shadowed last week; outlook hinges on Sauce Gardner's status

Brian Thomas Jr. was shadowed by Patrick Surtain and saw heavy coverage from him against the Texans, limiting his production. His Week 17 outlook depends on Sauce Gardner's status: if Gardner returns from his calf injury, BTJ will likely see similar outside coverage treatment and move to clear shaky flex; if Sauce remains out, BTJ becomes near the top of the dub flex category given Jacksonville's secondary depth issues.
