Travis Etienne, he's going about RB18 or RB19... I'm not buying him there. I think this could be a far closer to a 50-50 split than many people are giving it credit for... Alvin Kamara is going to be out there... he is actively getting first team reps alongside Travis Etienne... Travis Etienne had six receiving touchdowns on 36 catches. Previously, he had one on 132 career catches... Look at their yards per carry these past two seasons... Travis Etienne going again inside the top 50 picks. Not for me.
STACKED’s take
RB18–RB19 pick faces 50/50 split with Kamara; weak YPC and late-season decline pattern.
Ian Hartitz fades Travis Etienne as a consensus RB18–RB19 round-four pick, citing a likely 50/50 workload split with Alvin Kamara rather than the 70/30 split many assume. Etienne's 2025 receiving touchdowns (6 on 36 catches) were largely well-schemed opportunities from Liam Coen; his career receiving touchdown rate before 2025 was 1 on 132 catches. Kamara was RB5 in PPR in 2024 and remains a first-team rep participant in training camp. Etienne's yards per carry (4.0–4.1 over two seasons) shows no elite talent, and he has historically declined late-season (similar to Javonte Williams and Jonathan Taylor in 2024). The Saints' Vegas-implied scoring rank is 23rd (bottom-10 offense), limiting touchdown upside. Hartitz questions whether Etienne is special enough to overcome a not-so-special offensive situation and prefers receivers like Lamarr McConkey, T. Higgins, and Jaylen Waddle at similar or later ADP.
