Hartitz's core concern is Irving's role: he sees Irving as a between-the-20s running back in an offense that is not a juggernaut, lacking the two most valuable assets for fantasy running backs—goal-line work and consistent high-volume touches. Last year, Shawn Tucker dominated goal-line carries 9-0 versus Irving inside the five-yard line, and Kenneth Gable is also in the mix for short-yardage work. Irving is coming off a shoulder injury that persisted into the offseason.
