I look at Coleman and I see a Lendale White clone. um a player who just doesn't have that much burst, who doesn't um he who needs to run with his pads better downhill. Um that the tackles I see him break are against lower level competition and their arm tackles through big holes. Um his pass protection while he gets in the way of people, he doesn't use the technique.

Fourth-round RB lacks burst and technique; limited role behind JK Dobbins.
Bob Harris compares Jonah Coleman unfavorably to Lendale White, citing lack of burst, poor downhill pad usage, and weak pass protection technique; notes that his tackle production comes against lower-level competition with arm tackles through big holes, raising concerns about his NFL viability despite Sean Payton's fourth-round selection. Harris expects limited on-field role despite the draft capital, particularly with JK Dobbins healthy and potentially getting short-yardage work. Harris prefers Royce Freeman as a running back option.
