Stefon Diggs, Jordy Nelson, Keenan Allen, and Chris Godwin Jr. are the only four receivers I can think of in recent years who delivered 1,000 yards receiving within a year of tearing an ACL. Three of those four options did most of their work in the slot that year, and they had the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Philip Rivers, Tom Brady, and Josh McDaniels-boosted Drake Maye throwing them the ball. Jaxson Dart doesn't inspire me by comparison. The scheme is new, and I don't think Nabers is playing in the slot full-time.

Malik Nabers' value is likely delusional despite rooting for him. Only four receivers (Stefon Diggs, Jordy Nelson, Keenan Allen, Chris Godwin Jr.) have delivered 1,000 yards within a year of tearing an ACL in recent years; three did most work in the slot with elite QBs (Rodgers, Rivers, Brady, McDaniels-boosted Drake Maye). Jaxson Dart doesn't inspire by comparison, the scheme is new, and Nabers isn't playing slot full-time.
