Fernando Mendoza definitely had an off-night, 'lowlighted' by the pick-six. He also looked jittery and had a slow start during his first couple of drives. But there's some shared blame/a miscomunication with Mike Washington Jr. on the interception, and I liked how he settled in to make a handful of quality throws and somewhat salvage the performance.

No. 1 pick had an off-night highlighted by a pick-six and looked jittery with a slow start during his first couple of drives. However, there is shared blame and miscommunication with Mike Washington Jr. on the interception. Mendoza settled in to make a handful of quality throws and somewhat salvaged the performance; his stat line was made to look worse by Malik Benson's receiving issues. While he needs to play better moving forward, this performance keeps him from being labeled a 'loser' by the source.
