The battle for the third running back spot between Raheim Sanders and Ahmani Marshall remained unclear. Sanders had the flashier joint practice, ripping off the run of the day to the Bills' 4-yard line and catching passes in both 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 periods, but Saturday blunted the momentum with 12 first-half carries at just 2.6 yards per attempt. The tiebreaker may be special teams, where Marshall was a core coverage player in college, while Sanders did not log a single special teams snap in his four active games last season.
