NBC Sports Rotoworld on Makai Lemon

Lemon's rough preseason doesn't deter buying the elite prospect at cheap price.

Lemon, a first-round pick by the Eagles, played plenty in the preseason finale despite missing all of training camp. His NFL debut was grizzly, highlighted by a drop that turned into an interception and a muffed punt, finishing with three catches for three yards on five targets. However, the source indicates Lemon will open the year seeing the bulk of his targets on shallow routes with some designed touches up for grabs. Despite the rough preseason showing, Lemon was an elite prospect and is incredibly cheap in drafts; the source is continuing to buy the dip.
