The team's inability to get No. 4 overall pick Carnell Tate a single reception, or Cam Ward a completion thrown 10-plus yards downfield, also doesn't add a ton of confidence to the idea that this group is ready to hit the ground running.

No. 4 pick Tate had zero receptions in preseason; Daboll's scheme remains conservative.

The No. 4 overall pick Carnell Tate did not record a single reception in the Titans' preseason under Brian Daboll. This lack of involvement, combined with Cam Ward's inability to complete passes 10-plus yards downfield, raises concerns about the offense's readiness and Tate's early fantasy outlook. Daboll's scheme continues to show minimal pre-snap shift/motion (18.8%, 32nd in preseason), consistent with his historical pattern of a stale offense.
