Smith was good but not great for Reid's Chiefs; never reached Super Bowl under him.

Smith was a good but not great QB for Andy Reid's Kansas City Chiefs; under Smith, Reid's teams never reached the Super Bowl, though Reid immediately turned the perennially losing Chiefs into a winner, going from 2-14 the year before to 11-5 in Reid's first year there.
