Mahomes awkward spot, right? Coming off significant injury. We assume that he starts a little bit slow for me... When it comes to Patrick Mahomes, especially week one, I don't want to start this dude against the Denver Broncos.

Mahomes tough week one start; coming off injury, avoid vs. Denver.
Patrick Mahomes is coming off a significant injury and is expected to start slowly. The source notes an awkward spot and specifically does not want to start him against the Denver Broncos in week one, preferring to find matchup flexibility. The source also states it is 'really tough to imagine us being excited to start him week one' despite having him on many rosters. For week one specifically, the source recommends starting Jackson Dart over Mahomes due to a superior matchup against Dallas compared to Mahomes' matchup against Denver.
