Johnson was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report with a hamstring injury. The Bills tinkered with getting lead back James Cook additional opportunities on key passing situations in Week 1 but ditched the idea in favor of practice squad call-up Frank Gore Jr. after halftime, placing a halt on Cook seeing additional third-down opportunities in Johnson's absence. The team will move forward with a familiar role for Cook regardless of Johnson's Week 2 status.
