Goff is the most pressure-sensitive quarterback in football over the past three seasons, with the largest discrepancy in EPA per drop back between clean pocket (No. 1 in NFL from 2023-2025) and pressured situations. Against the Bills, pressuring Goff is paramount; he was only pressured on 22% of drop backs against the Saints in Week 1 and went 3-of-7 for 49 yards, one touchdown, zero interceptions, but the larger-sample point remains that he may be the last true drop-back quarterback in today's NFL and struggles significantly when not given time.
