Etienne's 17% target share is positive, but Kamara's return threatens his role.

Etienne was used in a three-headed committee with nine carries and nine targets on 50 snaps (21 routes) in Week 1 for New Orleans. His total of 18 opportunities was inflated by an overtime game, and he handled a healthy 17% target share but only 39% of designed runs, totaling 78 yards on 16 touches. His usage increased as the game progressed, which is positive, but it is now fair to wonder how involved Alvin Kamara will be upon his return. Etienne remains a fringe RB2 but will need more work in the running game for consistent fantasy value.
