ArticleRoundtable: The Players We Wish We Drafted Less
From the article
Brock Bowers has me second-guessing the leagues I drafted him in. It is not that I do not believe in his talent and production. I am looking at the team builds and wondering if that early investment would have been beneficial at running back or wide receiver; players who may score similarly to Bowers.

Bowers' early investment questionable when similar-scoring RBs/WRs available later.
Brock Bowers creates second-guessing about early tight end investment; while his talent and production are believed in, the team builds raise questions about whether that early capital would have been better suited to running back or wide receiver who may score similarly. In middle rounds, locking down a stud at another position and working the middle rounds more efficiently could have been better strategy, especially with suitable tight ends available later (Mark Andrews, Terrance Ferguson) who can provide weekly starts or season-long options.
