Late-addition fullback signed to 53-man roster after Week 1 special teams impact.

VanSumeren was a late addition to the Chiefs roster and became an instant contributor on special teams in Week 1, seeing three offensive snaps before the team signed him to a contract to keep him on the 53-man roster. Given the new-look Chiefs offense's success running the ball behind both fullbacks, he should remain in creative roles.
