Smith has elite matchup vs. Lions' league-worst QB defense.

Smith faces Detroit, which has allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks through two games; the Lions have surrendered three touchdowns and over 700 combined passing yards to opposing QBs. Smith is averaging 231 passing yards per game with zero interceptions. Despite not shredding his first two opponents, he could land as a back-end QB1 this week given the Lions' poor defense and potential for negative game script.
