Worthy benefited from the Chiefs' improved play-action scheme against the Colts. On one early play, the Colts' WILL linebacker bit on the play fake and got completely out of position, leaving Worthy wide open on a backside dig route. Worthy also motioned across the formation on quick-boot plays to the flat, with his motion creating leverage advantages that forced cornerbacks to travel with him, vacating the flat for other receivers.
