RotoWire NFL Articles on Jaylen Warren

Warren is the Steelers' lead back to buy; should remain starter even if Dowdle returns.

Jaylen Warren emerged as the clear lead back for Pittsburgh in Week 3 against Cincinnati, with a real advantage running outside and working as a receiver against the Bengals' linebackers. He finished with 176 scrimmage yards and three receptions. With Rico Dowdle out, Warren had a dominant performance, and Coventry expects him to remain the lead back even when Dowdle returns, given the predictability of running back usage. Warren is the Steelers skill player worth buying, and it is not a terrible idea to throw an offer out to acquire him, as many managers still expect a full split when Dowdle returns.
