RotoWire NFL Articles on Pat Freiermuth

Freiermuth benched for Washington despite favorable matchup history; now a streamer.

Pat Freiermuth was projected for an excellent matchup against Cincinnati in Week 3, a team he has dominated over the years. However, Darnell Washington caught three passes for 67 yards and was more involved than Freiermuth, mirroring last year's pattern when Arthur Smith was coaching the Steelers. Coventry downgraded Freiermuth to a streamer tight end, noting that running back usage is far more predictable than a non-dominant tight end's role.
