RotoWire NFL Articles on Braelon Allen

Allen could be three-down back if Hall misses, but pass-catching committee risk.

Allen is rostered in 19 percent of Yahoo leagues and becomes relevant if Breece Hall misses time. The source worries Isaiah Davis and Kene Nwangwu could operate as a pass-catching tandem, removing some PPR value Allen would have in a larger role. The third-year back has been used sparingly in that capacity, so it's possible he becomes a three-down workhorse, but that was never his bread and butter dating to his time with Wisconsin. The source prefers Gordon for his role longevity and value in the offense even if Allen probably will be featured more often.
