RotoWire NFL Articles on David Montgomery

Montgomery is a dead-zone back with similar per-snap usage to Marks.

David Montgomery and Woody Marks continued to mostly alternate drives in Week 3. Montgomery is looking very much like a dead-zone back, though he's at least still startable. His overall workload shares aren't bad, but his per-snap usage is very similar to Marks. He may have been subbed out at the goal line for fatigue or to avoid a red-zone turnover, but he won't be subbed in there if it's not his drive and Marks isn't tired. Stock is down.
