Yahoo Sports NFL on Jalen Hurts

Hurts regressed to 153 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT; continues Monday night struggles.

Jalen Hurts' performance in Year 1 under Mannion regressed significantly Monday night against Chicago after strong first two weeks. He threw for just 153 yards with no touchdown passes and a bad interception on fourth down in the third quarter; after halftime he passed for just 42 yards. Hurts has an unusual Monday night curse: eight career touchdowns and 15 interceptions on Mondays despite throwing 1,850 passes on Sundays and only 321 on Mondays—a 10-INT gap that shouldn't be possible statistically.
