McCarthy's 250-yard game last year was Vikings' only 200+ yard passing performance in 11 games.

Despite the Vikings' horrendous offensive output this season, J.J. McCarthy posted 250 passing yards in Week 15 last year, the only time in the past 11 games the Vikings exceeded 200 passing yards; no other quarterback on the roster reached 182 yards in the other 10 games, suggesting McCarthy's individual performance was notably better than his successors despite the team's systemic offensive struggles.
