Smith's one turnover in three games limits Chicago's defensive upside.

Smith has been careful with the football through the first three games, recording just one turnover (a lost fumble) and avoiding putting the ball in harm's way; this ball security limits the ceiling for the Bears' turnover-dependent defense in Week 4.
