Turf Show Times on Tahj Washington
From the article
Washington is different from the other candidates in that he is not an experienced returner...he was, however, an outstanding receiver in college with a gift for playmaking in the open field.
STACKED’s take
Washington lacks return experience but offers playmaking ability and coverage unit toughness despite modest speed.
Age 25, 5'10", 174 lb; Round 7 selection by Dolphins in 2024. Injured early in camp and spent 2024 season on Injured Reserve. In 2025, saw action in six games with one start: 45 snaps on offense, only four on special teams. Cut by Miami in August; signed and released by Philadelphia in final cuts. Speed profile: 4.52 forty, 1.63 10-yard split (not elite). Different from other candidates in that he is not an experienced returner—only took handful in college and NFL preseason. However, was outstanding receiver in college with gift for playmaking in open field; known as tough competitor on coverage units and chose to participate on special teams even after becoming offensive starter.
