Caleb Williams is a big-game hunter. His backups are either a veteran game manager or a young buck learning the ropes. Since Week 1, there have been five throws of 20 air yards or more. Williams hit that same mark on his own in the season opener.

Williams' big-game hunting style contrasts with backups' conservative approach; his return may deepen routes.

Williams is a 'big-game hunter' whose passing style differs markedly from his backups; in Week 1, he threw five passes of 20+ air yards without an interception, compared to his backups' conservative approach. His return from injury may deepen target routes for Chicago's receivers, though the offense's core intent to feature Luther Burden, Rome Odunze, and Colston Loveland should remain intact.
