Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveValue3:59

Buy-low candidate despite a bad game stretch; hasn't been a top-five wide receiver in recent weeks but is still clearing about 10 fantasy points per game (top-36 pace), and underlying usage metrics remain strong over the last month with WR2 expected points. Against the Packers' defense which allows the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers on throws within 10 air yards, St. Brown is projected to catch eight passes for 90 yards and a touchdown in PPR. The Lions are projected for 28.25 points.

Insight page

Carson Beck

NegativeInjury36:32

Backup QB with significant back injuries limiting practice availability; source reports he's 'barely able to walk off the practice field' and 'can't practice,' raising concerns about the Cardinals' passing game depth and downfield passing ability if the starter goes down.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveMatchup7:12

S-tier ranking vs the Philadelphia Eagles; while playing in the slot less often than before, the Eagles' Vic Fangio defense is vulnerable to interior pass catchers and allows the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers in the 5-20 air yard window and fourth-most under 10 air yards. Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean is having an atypical season with missed tackles and coverage busts, and the team lacks the same edge rushers as in prior years. Slot-style wide receivers like Lamb have given the Eagles trouble (Parker Washington: 124 yards, 2 TDs; Luther Burden: 61 yards, 1 TD). This represents the largest gap between Lamb and George Pickens all season.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeMatchup16:16

Chris Olive is being ranked against the Pittsburgh Steelers matchup in the Week 7 WR rankings. Facing Pittsburgh Steelers defense in Week 7; Steelers are a very good, well-coached unit with strong defensive linemen and Jaylen Ramsay playing well. Saints offense has declined significantly since Tyler Struck's broken hand and Kelvin Banks' injury at left tackle, with team throwing for only 240 combined yards in last two games. Ranked as A-tier WR despite difficult matchup.

Insight page
PositiveValue30:30

Dvonte Adams leans toward Olave over Garrett Wilson at the WR3 debate spot due to the drastic ranking difference between the two, believing Olave has more upside. The speaker notes Olave might have more downside potential due to Tyler Shucker's offensive line situation, but the ranking gap makes Olave the preferred pick in this debate.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveMatchup8:28

Ranked WR6 in Week 7 against Detroit Lions; leads Green Bay Packers duo with 9 endzone targets, top-3 in the league; positioned 3-4 spots ahead of teammate Matthew Golden in this ranking despite trailing in consensus ADP; matchup features Lions allowing fourth-most fantasy points per game to receivers on 15+ air yard throws in what Dvonte Adams calls an absolute shootout game.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveProjection8:31

Ranked S-tier in Week 7 WR rankings; Dvonte Adams affirms S-tier placement over A-tier, citing strong performance this season.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveValue20:46

DeVonta Smith is ranked WR14 in Dvonte Adams' rankings versus WR17 in consensus against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7. Tanner McHenry is willing to push the ball over the middle and downfield. The Eagles are at a season-high 66% neutral pass rate in three-wide receiver sets, and Smith showed WR8 usage last week. The matchup favors a vertical passing attack against the Cowboys secondary, where you throw the ball deep down the field and live with the results.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveMatchup31:36

Ranked WR22 against the New Orleans Saints in Paris. Saints play single-high coverage at the third-highest rate, and Metcalf sees 32% of the team's targets against single-high looks. Over the last four games, Metcalf has posted WR30 and WR25 usage finishes. Saints structurally don't want players like Metcalf to beat them, but they lack the talent to stop him; they've allowed 165 yards to Neighbors, 68 yards and a score to Justin Jefferson, 96 yards to Drake London, and a WR22 finish to Jalen Dawson. Team total is nearly 24 points above average. Metcalf's role has shifted significantly this year back to the Seahawks-style vertical X-receiver role, with Jeremy Bernard handling manufactured touches and blocking, leaving Metcalf to run crossers, posts, verticals, and stop routes on the outside rather than the quick slants that were effective last year.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection9:57

Ranked WR8 in Week 7 against San Francisco 49ers; Dvonte Adams projects Drake London will go absolutely crazy for the rest of the year because Michael Penix Jr. must throw to first-read targets immediately due to his inability to throw short, struggle under pressure, and lack of second-chance creation; Falcons have 23.5-point team total at home; 49ers defense has allowed four consecutive WR1s to finish top-25 despite injuries.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveRole14:14

End-of-season outlook has worsened now that the Jets offense is healthy and Breece Hall is back; with Hall's return, the Jets are expected to run the ball more, reducing Wilson's target volume and role in the passing game; Dvonte Adams traded Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr. straight up for Justin Jefferson, specifically trying to get rid of Wilson due to these concerns about his usage in a run-heavier offense.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeMatchup27:51

Faces Philadelphia's elite corner Quinion in a difficult matchup. In Week 1 last year, Pickens had 30 scoreless yards; Week 12 rematch saw him finish as WR for that week, but matchup remains challenging. Pickens is not moved around formation (only ~2% slot usage), so he will be locked into battle with Quinion, one of top-5 corners in league. Team total is strong at 24.5 points, but matchup difficulty is significant. Dvonte Adams emphasized Pickens must improve his blocking in the run game—picking up safeties and blitzes—to maintain his receiving role, but film review shows his blocking effort is subpar, similar to Marvin Harrison Jr.'s effort level during his Arizona Cardinals days.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeProjection20:20

Giants rookie QB in first start against Texans in Week 7. Bold prediction: will not throw for 200 yards in this game despite Hayden throwing 243 yards in a quarter. Giants team total at 16 points, dead last in league. McCarthy has been with team for two weeks; Giants were not planning for him to start against elite Texans offense in Week 7. Bold prediction: JJ McCarthy will not throw for 200 yards in Week 7 start against Texans; context includes first start after two weeks with team, Giants offense ranked dead last at 16th in team rating, and Texans' strong pass defense against bad quarterbacks.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveMatchup5:57

Buy at the Baltimore Ravens matchup with elite historical production; he has two 200-yard games against the Ravens in 11 career contests, averaging 12 targets per game, 7.5 receptions, and 117 yards per game. Since 2024 he ranks as WR7 overall with 161 points and has posted 110+ yards in all recent games. Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey even said pre-game it would be cool if he didn't match up with Chase so much, acknowledging the difficulty. Chase has had an unusual season with late training camp injury, poor Week 1, Week 4 concussion, and bye week, but this is a classic spot for him to go off.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveValue24:03

Ranked WR16 by Dvonte Adams (Yahoo) vs. WR20 by Underdog consensus. Faces Tampa Bay Buccaneers with strong matchup potential. Panthers rank 4th in expected half-PPR points to wide receivers (34.7 PPR); with ~40% target share allocation, Coker has WR1 upside in this matchup. Buccaneers' defensive line depth and Vita Vea create obvious pass funnel; Buccaneers allow 75 yards per game on ground and above-average pass yards. Coker offers more explosiveness relative to teammate Tedo McMillan; team total at 23.75 points knocking on top-10 range. Panthers don't heavily use third receiver, concentrating volume between top two.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeProjection37:01

Ranked WR25 for Week 7 against Green Bay Packers secondary that allows only 23% completion rate on 20+ yard throws (4th best in league); Packers have three productive safeties making plays. Despite poor matchup metrics, 28-point team total at home creates ceiling upside. Classified as boom-bust WR3 with floor concerns due to QB situation (Sam LaPorta-like volatility), but ceiling remains intact.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeProjection39:19

Ranked WR26 for Week 7 despite poor performance; Dvonte Adams attributes struggles primarily to QB Bo Nix rather than Waddle's play. Broncos rank dead last in middle pass rate and air yards per route, creating structural passing game issues. Waddle has faced elite defenses (Chiefs, Jaguars, Rams, 49ers, Chargers, Seahawks) to open season. Nix is avoiding intermediate throws and deep shots, calling lowest neutral pass rate games in last two weeks after high rates early season.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveProjection12:08

Has been a top-five fantasy wide receiver with all Vikings quarterbacks except JJ McCarthy; buy came at the right time with Jefferson back to full health, Addison back to full health, and Kyler Murray settling in; against the Colts, the key question is whether the Colts offense can move the ball enough to generate 8+ targets for Jefferson, as the Vikings defense is dominant and the Colts struggle to create explosive plays and execute out of structure; Colts are also missing S Gardner (calf injury) on defense; Jefferson, Addison, Hawkinson, and Murray have played only nine pass attempts together this season.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection12:13

Averages 6.1 air yards per attempt with only 30% of passes going 10+ yards downfield; completes 89% on short passes under 10 yards but only 52% on deep throws; Vikings passing core (Murray, Jefferson, Addison, Hawkinson) has played only nine pass attempts together this season, creating uncertainty about offensive efficiency; despite limited chemistry, Murray is healthy and scrambling effectively; with KOC's scheme, a decent offensive line, and talent directionally comparable to Kurt Cousins and Sam Darnold, the Vikings should figure out their passing attack.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveMatchup8:28

Ranked WR7 in Week 7 against Detroit Lions; part of Green Bay Packers duo with 7 endzone targets, top-3 in the league; positioned 3-4 spots behind teammate Christian Watson in this ranking but ahead in consensus ADP; matchup features Lions allowing fourth-most fantasy points per game to receivers on 15+ air yard throws in what Dvonte Adams calls an absolute shootout game.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

NegativeMatchup9:57

Falcons QB facing 49ers defense led by his former head coach; 42% of Penix's throws are 10+ yards downfield (fourth in league), but 49ers rank fourth in defending those throws with 41.5% completion allowed; struggles throwing short and under pressure; lacks second-chance creation, forcing immediate throws to first-read targets; 49ers created 9 sacks over last two weeks.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveValue11:19

WR24 ranking with inconsistent weekly performance (WR35-84-4-20-53-56 over recent weeks); buy-low candidate despite consistency concerns. Excellent role with strong usage (WR5 usage this month) but hampered by poor quarterback play from Jacob Brassette and two missed end-zone opportunities last week. Projected as upside WR3 when splitting difference between recent poor performance and strong underlying role; schedule remains difficult and garbage-time opportunities limited compared to prior year.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveValue33:27

WR30 ranking on WR19 usage; 7.7 targets per game (WR20). Positioned as focal point of Buccaneers offense and buy-low candidate. Despite Buccaneers' worst quarterback performance in league through first six weeks, Evans is on pace to become very fantasy relevant again as quarterback play improves. Panthers defense expected to be stronger against run than pass over next month, forcing Buccaneers to throw more than expected, benefiting Evans.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection18:23

Nico Collins is ranked WR12 for Week 7 against the Giants. CJ Stroud was top-five in EPA per drop-back with Collins on the field and below average without him this year, highlighting Collins' critical role in the Texans offense. The Texans have the highest neutral pass rates in the CJ Stroud-to-Mike Ryan era. The Giants secondary is not good and cannot defend Collins one-on-one. The Texans team total is at 26.5 points, third-highest of the week, indicating a strong offensive environment. While the Giants have allowed only one passer to reach 200 yards this season, Stroud's caliber is elite.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveInjury0:08

Ranked WR1 but left Thursday's practice with a calf injury called minor by Ian Rapoport; status uncertain for Week 7. If he plays, target share is described as 'too outrageous' and even a limited version is expected to produce 'alltime performances.' With Dvonte Adams out, Puka's red zone presence and inside-the-10 metrics jump 21–24% higher than his already top-five baseline across targets per route run, yards per route run, and fantasy points per route.

Insight page
PositiveInjury33:03

Ranked WR22; cleared from concussion protocol and toe injury concerns after practicing Friday; expected to play against Carolina Panthers. Despite a horrible season and poor quarterback play from Baker Mayfield through six weeks, Nacua is positioned as a buy-low candidate with potential for fantasy relevance improvement if quarterback play stabilizes.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeProjection4:20

Darnold is currently playing like a bad quarterback despite his Super Bowl win, raising concerns about his ability to bounce back from a recent poor game stretch; this affects his passing volume and efficiency for dependent pass catchers.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

PositiveRole0:38

Ranked TE7 but becomes a must-play TE1 if Puka Nakua misses Week 7. Last week ran 31 of 38 routes. His best game of the year was Week 3 with TE7-on-TE3 usage without Puka Nakua and Terence Ferguson. With Dvonte Adams now also out, Higbee's elevated role and target opportunity make him a priority streaming option.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveMatchup15:18

Zay Flowers has a fantastic matchup against Cincinnati in Week 7. He plays 47% of his snaps in the slot and from the slot has been targeted on 41% of his routes with 5.38 yards per route run. The Bengals' top corner DJ Turner has been very strong on the outside but has played only seven snaps in the slot all season, so the game plan should keep Turner away from Flowers. Flowers will run choice routes, backfield routes, and crossers against the Bengals' weaker slot coverage. Assuming Lamar Jackson is healthy, Flowers maintains elite value; even with Tyler Huntley at QB, he would only drop 5-6 spots.

0:00It's time for your week seven wide receiver rankings as always brought to you by Farmers Insurance our friends over at Farmers Insurance and Hayden.
0:08What is not our friend is the injury report right now because at the top we start with the question. It is Puka
0:14Nacua as your wide receiver one but to update everyone he left Thursday's practice with a calf injury. It is now being called minor
0:21but Ian Rapoport this morning said that it is minor but that doesn't mean precautionary and it's still up in the air whether he misses week seven.
0:30>> Your thoughts.
0:31I will take him out of my rankings if he does not play and if he's out there then the target shares too outrageous that
0:37even a limited version of Puka still goes absolutely nuts. Like I'll I'll say like I don't think that he's 100% healthy just watching him right now and
0:44he's still finishing with these ridiculous performances like all-time performances. Um so yeah, if he's out there too big to fail.
0:53>> Totally agree. I think the longer conversation that we don't have to get into is what happens if he does miss?
1:00Like what do they even run? Like what what [laughter] do they put on the field because you know Tutu Atwell and Puka
1:06Nacua no matter what is going to play like 73 78%of the snaps here. Um but the big thing for Puka Nacua with Davante
1:14Adams out is that he just becomes a major red zone presence a major inside the 10 yard line presence yeah and a
1:20major end zone presence. Like all his important underlying metrics in terms of targets per route run yards per route run fantasy points per route jump
1:27anywhere from 21 to 24%higher than they were previously as already a top five wide receiver out there.
1:33>> I agree that the more interesting stuff is like if Puka does not play what happens and I just want to quickly hit
1:38on the tight ends here. I have Tyler Higbee as my tight end seven we don't have tight end videos right now but
1:43last week 31 of 38 routes and then he's been his best game of the year was week three tight end seven on tight end three
1:50usage. That was without Puka Nacua and Terrance Ferguson. Now we don't have Davante Adams. So I think that Tyler Higbee would absolutely be a must play
1:58tight end one. And then Colby Parkinson, there's been three games without Davante Adams dating back to last year. Colby Parkinson's been the tight end seven on
2:05tight end seven usage because he's 6'7" and like 280 lbs, he also is a red zone threat. We saw that last week on
2:12something like the little red zone play action attempts to to the to the flats with him. So, I think that Colby
2:19Parkinson would become streamable if Puka Nacua is not out there as well. And then it's like someone like Jordan Addison kind of is in like the
2:26you know, the Puka Nacua role. He's just like way worse at it.
2:29So, it would be it would be hellscape at the wide receiver spots. But, I think that Higbee and Parkinson would be the
2:34guys that I would figure to be mixing in fairly often.
2:37>> Jaxon Smith-Njigba is your wide receiver two. This is against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Seahawks are actually two and a half point favorites here against
2:45the Chiefs. We know Sam Darnold has thrown seven interceptions since returning in week three. The Chiefs are actually number one in DVOA against
2:54opposing wide receiver ones. So, this is a fascinating underlying metrics game because we know Jaxon Smith-Njigba is 50%if not more of the entire Seahawks
3:04passing offense.
3:05>> So, I have these matchup maps, and it kind of just breaks down the different depths of the field and different
3:10positions, and it just ranks how many fantasy points the defense is giving up at certain buckets. And the Chiefs are dead last in giving up points on 15 plus
3:20air yards, dead last at five to 20 intermediate level, and dead last under 10 air yards. They have shut down every
3:27wide receiver, doesn't matter deep, underneath, intermediate, does not matter whatsoever. Now, the Chiefs have not faced any strong wide receiver groups this entire season. That's the
3:36context here, but they are coming off of a bye with Andy Reid and Steve Spagnuolo and Sam Darnold is like not seeing the
3:42field well. And still, because he's not seeing the field well, then Jaxon Darnold just gets four extra targets because you know, they're not up by a
3:48bunch of points. So, it's like Darnold's awesome, he was scoring long touchdowns. If he's not awesome, he gets extra targets. It doesn't really matter.
3:55>> I always love your Freudian slips. Like you just called Jameson Jackson Dart out of nowhere.
4:00>> It happened [laughter].
4:02>> I love it. You just You still have your players on your mind, you know, and they just slip out when we have the first
4:07names here. Yeah, I mean when pressured Sam Darnold has completed 38%of his passes for 4.6 yards per attempt. That's 28th and 25th in the
4:15league. As we always talk about Steve Spagnuolo kind of puts bad quarterbacks in a blender. I'm not calling Sam Darnold a bad quarterback. The dude just
4:23won a Super Bowl, but he's kind of playing like a bad quarterback right now. So, it's going to be interesting to
4:27see if he can bounce back and recover from this last game stretch that he has had. Okay, next you have Amon-Ra St. Brown. I mean, talk about a
4:36bad game stretch.
4:38He hasn't been a top five wide receiver in a handful of weeks.
4:42>> Yeah, he's been like really outlier bad and even in those games he is still clearing about 10 fantasy points per
4:48game. So, like that's your bad streak is still scoring as a top 30 six wide receiver in three straight. The usage
4:54underlying metrics is still awesome.
4:56Over the last month he's a wide receiver two in expected points. He's a buy low candidate. If anyone's panicking out there, just gobble them up. This team's
5:03projected for the most fantasy or most points on the week at 28 and a quarter.
5:09And then looking at the Pack Packers defense. One, I think it's an underrated defense. They're doing a lot of the Brian Flores kind of crowd the line,
5:15play zone coverage behind it. But because they play that style, they've allowed the second most fantasy points to wide receivers when the ball has been
5:23thrown within 10 air yards. Obviously, Amon-Ra St. Brown factors into a whole lot of that. So, get the ball out quickly to Amon-Ra St. Brown. More of
5:30like a PPR scam style offense against the Packers and I can see him catching eight passes for 90 yards and a
5:37touchdown here.
5:38>> The Packers have disguised their coverage pre-snap to post-snap at the league highest rate.
5:43And as Reeves noted, Jonathan Gannon has actually had success against Jared Goff in the past. In three career games against Jonathan Gannon's defense, Jared
5:50Goff has scored 8.9, 15.5, and 14.6 fantasy points. So, again, that's a match-up to watch just overall. Okay.
6:00Ja'Marr Chase off a bye at the Baltimore Ravens is your wide receiver four. Uh speaking of previous match-ups between these two,
6:10he has two 200-yard games against the Ravens. And in 11 career games here, he's averaged 12 targets per contest, seven and a half receptions, and 117
6:20yards per game. Now, it's a little different with Jesse Minter calling the defense, but, you know, maybe he just sees that purple and black, he just goes
6:26off.
6:27>> Yeah, last four of it is wide receiver seven, 16, one, and one overall since 2024 there. He's had 110 yards in all of
6:33them. Uh it got to the point where Marlon Humphrey, uh leading up to this game, his quote was, "It would be cool if I didn't match up
6:41with them so much."Which I agree. I appreciate the honesty. He knows what's what's up here. Yeah, the the Ja'Marr Chase season has just been kind of
6:48weird. We had like that late training camp injury, did not have the best week one. He obviously leaves with the concussion in in week four. Now we have
6:54had the bye week, so it's like he's kind of out of like our mind. And like this like the classic spot where like he just
6:59goes absolutely crazy. And we're like, "Oh yeah, there he There he goes again."
7:02>> Yeah. I did just pick him up in our dynasty league. I got him for like $240.
7:07So, I have another dynasty question I'll get to here in a little bit. Next is CeeDee Lamb, who's also on my team. This
7:12is at the Philadelphia Eagles. I mean, hey, Nif, we were to make it really, really, really simple here, even the best Vic Fangio defenses do a very good
7:22job against outside wide receivers and allow points against interior pass catchers. Now, CeeDee Lamb is playing in the slot less often than he has before,
7:33but still, if they want to free up one of these guys, CeeDee Lamb, it's a lot easier to do that than George Pickens.
7:38>> Yes, Quincy Anunwa Mitchell's going to face Pickens, we'll get to that in in a little bit. But in that 5 to 20 air yard
7:43window, they've allowed the third most fantasy points to wide receivers and then under 10 air yards, the fourth most as well. And if you guys have just been
7:49watching the Eagles, one Cooper DeJean is like not having the the typical season. He's missed some tackles.
7:54There's been some kind of coverage bust.
7:55I think a lot of that's also Mukuba, one of their safeties, who's been struggling. Their third linebacker has been struggling. And then even like Reed
8:02Blankenship, the communication with the new outside corner, that's just been worse this year. Plus the Eagles just do not have the same edge rushers on top of
8:10that. So, uh it's kind of like the the CeeDee Lamb style wide receivers have given the Eagles trouble. Parker Washington had
8:17124 and two touchdowns. Luther Burden 61 yards and a touchdown like as examples here. So, you know, where CeeDee Lamb is
8:25used is where the Eagles have been worse this this year. So, I this is the largest gap I'll have between Lamb and
8:30Pickens all year.
8:31>> Should he be S tier or is he the first name in A tier?
8:34>> Uh let's go S tier. He's been He's been so good this year.
8:37>> Well, what about the Green Bay Packers duo cuz they are back-to-back in your rankings. They're a little bit different in consensus rankings where Christian
8:44Watson is ahead of Matthew Golden by three or four spots. But here they are as your wide receiver six and seven at
8:50the Detroit Lions. I mean, both these guys are top three in terms of end zone targets. Christian Watson has nine of
8:56them and Matthew Golden has seven of them. So, is this A tier for this tandem?
9:01>> Yeah, let's go both of them in A tier.
9:02I'd be curious to know about those end zone targets. Like Christian Watson's end zone targets like are sometimes really close to the end zone and then
9:08Matthew Golden's end zone targets like happen to be like 50 yards away from the end zone. Either way, the air yards and
9:14all that stuff is lights out and the Lions have just been beyond pathetic defensively. Like this is just a complete eruption spot
9:21uh on all of the charts. If you've been watching the Lions, they've been struggling in one-on-one situations and they're kind of left on islands. Uh just
9:27one stat just for for both of these guys, 15 plus air yard throws against the Lions allowing the fourth most fantasy points per game. That It be
9:35Chris uh Christian Watson or Matthew Golden, both electric players here. So, this is going to be an absolute shootout game in Detroit. This is to me like the
9:43game of the week.
9:45>> Yeah, we've dug into the numbers, and 81%of you that watch our shows this summer ended up with at least one of
9:51Christian Watson or Matthew Golden. So, let us know if that's true in the comments below.
9:55>> Shame on the 19%by the way.
9:56>> Shame on them. Drake London is your wide receiver eight. This is against the San Francisco 49ers. I think this is an intriguing conversation just
10:05from a quarterback versus defense standpoint. Overall, Hayden, this is Michael Penix's former head coach, the guy who drafted him, calling a defense
10:14against him. And it's a quarterback who has obvious flaws out there.
10:19Um I mean, 42%of Michael Penix's throws are 10 or more yards down the field.
10:22That's fourth in the league. And then the 49ers are fourth in the league at defending those, allowing just a completion percentage of 41 and a half.
10:29So, the dude struggles throwing short, he struggles when pressured, and the 49ers, despite some of their injuries, are still being able to do that over the
10:37last 2 weeks.
10:38>> Agree on all those notes. I will say because he struggles in those areas, he kind of has to be a first read target
10:46quarterback, like the rest of the way.
10:47Like there's no such thing as a check-down. I've noticed like the Bijan receiving numbers are kind of coming down with Michael Penix. To me, he has
10:54to get the ball out quickly cuz there's just no second chance creation from Michael Penix. And what does that mean?
10:59I think that's going to mean Drake London's going to go absolutely crazy for the rest of the year. Like he has to
11:03throw the ball immediately to Drake London. Everything else is just like not going to work in this offense. The 49ers defense has been surprisingly good. Like
11:10Upton Stoutt is on the injury report. A bunch of their defensive linemen, once again, are in the injury report.
11:16But Zay Flowers, JSN, Waddle, Mike Williams, four wide receiver ones in a row have been top 25 wide receivers against the 49ers because
11:26of just, you know, catch-up mode here.
11:28So, you're at home against the 49ers. 23 and a half point team total is like rock solid for Drake London to have a wide
11:33receiver one moment.
11:35>> Yeah, that's a really nice team total for them where in other situations if like the market did not believe in the
11:40Falcons offense, it would be much lower.
11:41Now, they also did show some real garbage time efforts last week like they were down 31 to 7 to open the fourth
11:47quarter and that's when he went 11 for 17 for 152 yards and two touchdowns and two-point conversions. Oh, yeah.
11:54Yeah, I mean the 49ers have created nine sacks over the last 2 weeks and if they do that again, then Falcons are going to
11:59struggle here. Yeah, I mean teams are just blitzing the Falcons now and blitzing all these teams to keep their pass-catching running backs attached to
12:05the quarterbacks.
12:06>> Yep. Yep, that's what that's what's happening.
12:08Justin Jefferson on now your expert league fantasy team.
12:13We'll hit on that in a moment.
12:15Oh, buddy.
12:16Against the Indianapolis Colts is here.
12:18Um Look, I still can't tell you exactly how this offense is going to work passing-wise. I mean, Kyler Murray averages 6.1 air yards per attempt right
12:28now. Only 30%of his passes are going 10 or more yards down the field. Um on those short passes under 10 yards, he's
12:36completing a ton of them, 89%and then down the field, he's throwing about 52%. So, I mean, these guys have barely played
12:45together, the quartet of the core of their passing offense. So, will we learn more against a bad bad bad Colts team?
12:53>> I'm just like zooming out. I'm like not trying to figure out exactly the Kyler Murray stuff. I'm just like, okay,
12:59with KOC, a decent offensive line and let's say Kirk Cousins, Sam Darnold, Kyler Murray like directionally about the same level talent across the board
13:08there. These guys can throw the ball deep. Kyler Murray's scrambling around.
13:11I think he's healthy at least if I'm going to zoom in on anything, that they'll end up figuring this thing out.
13:16Like Justin Jefferson has been a top five fantasy wide receiver with all these quarterbacks except JJ McCarthy, and I do think that the bye came at the
13:22right time for, uh, the Vikings. Just getting, you know, Jefferson back to full health, Addison back to full health, Kyler Murray to,
13:28like, calm down for a second, which I think that's nice. Hopefully they get their left tackle back and then Jordan Mason's back. Like this should be like
13:34the starting lineup for the Vikings that they were expecting except for you know, Donavon Jackson. And we are drafting Justin Jefferson in the first round and
13:41then we get to the Colts match up and they're not going to have Sauce Gardner with a calf injury this week on top of
13:47it. They've already just been horrific on uh defense. Um, so the only problem I have with this game is: can the Colts
13:54offense move the ball enough to make this where Justin Jefferson ends up with eight plus targets in this one? Because they have been a little bit more run
14:01heavy in neutral situations, and the defense has been so dominant, and they could be like dominant specifically against this Colts team that can't
14:08create explosives and they can't make plays out of structure.
14:12>> The worksheet noted that Kyler Murray, Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson have only played together for nine pass attempts so far this
14:19season.
14:20>> Yeah.
14:20>> So, maybe that goes into my uncertainty of of what this group is beast.
14:25>> Speaking of uncertainty, Hayden.
14:26>> Uh you traded Garrett Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr. straight up for Justin Jefferson. How are you feeling?
14:33>> I feel good about that one. I was looking around the league. I was like, "Who needs Who needs some wide receiver
14:38depth?"Uh and by the way, I also now need some wide receiver depth but that's the price you pay. Uh I'll take my
14:44>> Well, yeah, but Marv is a total zero in your brain. So, it's not like he counted as depth for you.
14:49>> guess. Yeah, I was I was really just like trying to figure out like I I'm feeling a little bit worse about the
14:54Garrett Wilson stuff now that everyone's healthy in that offense and like how does the end of the season uh look and
14:59then with Breece Hall back like I think they might run the ball a little bit more. So, I was like really trying to
15:03get rid of Garrett Wilson. That was my intention. I was looking around the league >> Oh, and then you just lucked into Justin
15:08Jefferson.
15:10>> I was I pulled up your team by the way and I was trying to figure out a team. I hated your team so much. I didn't even
15:15send an offer but I did pull up your team first.
15:18>> Thanks, bud. Okay.
15:21Zay Flowers is next.
15:23We get Lamar Jackson back most likely.
15:27What I like about this matchup against Cincinnati is that Zay Flowers plays 47% of his snaps in the slot, and then from
15:34the slot, he's been targeted on 41%of his routes with a 5.38 yards per route run. And, as we have seen, you beat up
15:44the Cincinnati Bengals over the middle of the field.
15:47>> Yeah, and I just trust that Declan Doyle is going to have like a game plan to make sure DJ Turner is not on
15:54Zay Flowers and DJ Turner has been once again very strong at outside corner here.
16:00Turner by the way has played seven snaps inside the slot this entire season. So I think that we're going to get Zay
16:06Flowers away from him and like Jacoby Lane and Rashod Bateman, those guys will be sacrificed and then Zay Flowers will just be running those choice routes,
16:14backfield routes, crosses, all the fun stuff. So this is assuming Lamar Jackson is ready to go. Even if it was Tyler
16:20Huntley, I would only drop him probably like five to six spots here.
16:24Yeah, I think it's a fantastic matchup for for Zay Flowers.
16:28>> Chris Olave against the Pittsburgh Steelers is next for you. Are we going to continue on A tier? I'm assuming we
16:34are for the next three names. I'll I'll continue on there. Um the Saints Hayden are one of two teams that have not
16:40scored first in a game yet this season.
16:43I think that goes to play where this team is working from behind while they're running so many plays at least in most these contests. However,
16:51since the Taysom Hill broken hand, since they lost our left tackle, I mean, he's thrown for 240 yards combined in the
16:58next in the last two games.
17:00>> Yeah.
17:01>> So yeah, this is not quite and we'll talk about this especially with De'Von Achane, this Saints offense that we were
17:08so highly touting in the opening three games of the season. It's it's a lot worse.
17:13>> I think so. This is you we see this every year where when a left tackle, especially like a good one like Calvin
17:19Bangs goes down like we just don't recalibrate quick enough and I think we've seen that with the Saints in general. Um now, a lot of it
17:27also faced the the Minnesota Vikings in week five. We just like knew that was not going to be a clean one, but the
17:31Giants game was like more of mediocre than anything cuz like they got hopped out to a huge lead. So, I think that
17:35Chris Olave is going to settle in nicely, but I just don't like the combination of, you know, backup left tackle. I don't think that the
17:42replacement's been very good and Tyler Shelvin a broken hand, so I I kind of just knocked down Valdes-Scantling, Juwan, and Chris Olave
17:49like a couple spots across the board. Uh team total's at almost 21 points is more middle of the pack here. They're going
17:55to be in France uh against the Steelers defense, which has been just like a very good defense through and through. Jalen Ramsey's
18:03playing well. They have a bunch of defensive linemen that play well. It's a well-coached unit on top of things, so I
18:09think that this is a difficultish matchup, um but still definitely an A-tier player.
18:14>> Joe Burrow is the only quarterback to throw multiple touchdown passes against this Pittsburgh Steelers defense, which is probably a top-five unit this season.
18:22Um however, Tyler Shelvin has been lights out in the red zone. He is 20 of 26 with 10 touchdowns and zero
18:29interceptions in the red zone so far this season.
18:31>> All right. Well, I'm going to do a bold prediction. Here comes a red zone interception this week. You know, those
18:36When I see red zone numbers that he's a leading in you're like,"And here comes the >> And it's a >> Yeah.
18:43>> Nico Collins is your wide receiver 12.
18:45These two receivers that are next play each other. This against the Giants. Um the Giants have allowed only one passer, Hayden, to reach 200 yards against them
18:55this season. Now, part of that's cuz their run defense has been so bad.
18:58But over the last four games, like I said, they really haven't faced a quarterback playing to the caliber that C.J. Stroud is right now. So, Nico
19:06Collins is such a big difference for the team. Like I went back and looked at their weeks two and three when he was
19:11out and they scored like 13 and six points. And now they're projected for the second most points this week or thereabouts.
19:16>> Yeah, I had like the numbers a couple weeks ago on Football 301, the recap show I do over there, and CJ Stroud was
19:22like top five in EPA per dropback with Collins on the field and then was below average without Collins this year. And
19:28like we can extend that multiple years.
19:29So, I feel good about the Texans pass game. Jaylen Nowells stepped up. I'm assuming this is going to be the first game where Marvin
19:35Harrison's like really going to be a factor, maybe plays like half the snaps instead of the, you know, like a dozen
19:39of them like the last game. I think that that might impact Nico Collins like at the tiny little margins, but the big thing
19:46is like the last two weeks they're they've had like the highest neutral pass rates like they've ever had in the Stroud Demeco Ryans era. And I think
19:52that's where they should keep going and the Giants defense does not scare me in the back half. I don't care what the
19:57spreadsheets say right now. Like that secondary is not good and they don't have anyone that can defend Nico Collins one-on-one. So, I think it's a good
20:04match-up for him. And the team total's at 26 and a half points, it's the third highest. Like how many times have we
20:09said the Texans have the third highest team total of the week? It's been a very long time since we said that. So, I I
20:14feel very good about Nico.
20:15>> I don't know if we've ever said that.
20:16And maybe not. If we have, it's like dating back to Nico or excuse me, CJ Stroud's rookie season. Um The Giants over the last two games are
20:24blitzing at the second highest rate in the league. So, I really do wonder if CJ Stroud is going to pick that apart and
20:29replaces all those spots.
20:31Malik Nabers is next for you. Again, this is on the opposite end.
20:36You had a bold prediction for Tyler Shuck. I'll have one here for JJ McCarthy Um he just threw for 242 yards in a
20:43quarter. I don't think JJ McCarthy throws for 200 yards in this game.
20:48>> I'm nervous about this one, you know, like it was fun in, you know, when you're down 34-10 and you're playing Yolo ball and
20:56but you know, it's you're playing in Houston. Like that's not how the Giants were drawing this up. Like when the season started they were like not like I
21:02hope JJ McCarthy is our quarterback in week seven against the Texans here in his first start, he's been there for 2
21:08weeks.
21:09So, yeah, the team goes at 16. You know, dead last on the week.
21:13You know, this defense has been a little bit better recently because DeMeco Ryans is making the plays or play calling now. They have
21:20their starting linebacker back in the lineup, so things are going to be a little bit more functional. Like Jalen Pitre types are still on the injury
21:26report, we'll see if he plays.
21:28It's so easy to get Malik Nabers the ball. To me, there's like still no excuses. Like you he still has to catch
21:33six passes even in these difficult matchups we've seen like Jamarr Chase guys type of talent like have big games against the Texans, so it's not
21:39impossible. This is about as far down as I can move him now that he like looks like one of the best wide receivers in the in the
21:46game again.
21:47>> Yeah, JJ throws for 199 yards. 100 of those goes to Malik Nabers and 99 goes to Isaiah Likely.
21:53>> Yep.
21:53>> That that that's the point where the Giants are at right now. And like you said, if you look at the underlying
21:57numbers, the Texans have been bad against downfield big plays, but against the bad quarterbacks, they haven't been bad. Yeah, against the downfield big
22:07plays.
22:07>> Yep.
22:08>> Um and like Andrew Thomas has left games. We know that Jermaine Eluemunor has just missed games, and you're going up against arguably the best edge
22:15rushing duo in the NFL along with interior >> pressure. Oh, yeah.
22:19>> This episode is brought to you by Farmers Insurance. Questioning your lineup? Sure. Questioning your insurance? Then check out Farmers.
22:28Farmers coverage on a page breaks things down so you know what you are and aren't covered for.
22:35For insurance that's truly on your team, visit farmers.com today.
22:39Okay, are we done with A-tier here?
22:41Should I go to the B-tier next?
22:42>> Um no, I want one more A-tier just cuz of the Cowboys defense.
22:46>> Wow, this is DeVonta Smith against the Dallas Cowboys. He's wide receiver 17 in consensus rankings, but wide receiver 14 for you.
22:55>> I think that Tanner McKee could do just fine in this offense. I think they're going to lean into the pass. Last week
23:01was a season high in neutral pass rate at 66%. This is like a team that's like living in three wide receiver sets and
23:08Tanner McKee was willing to push push the ball over the middle and then he gave DeVonta Smith multiple opportunities on these like sideline
23:15shots. So I think you know, structurally how the Jalen Hurts offense was working which is just like you know, vertical attempts. I think that Tanner McKee can
23:22kind of do that and now we don't have to deal with the tush push and I'm not sure if they're going to run
23:26the ball as much. We'll see if Saquon Barkley's actually going to play in this one. He's trending in that right direction. To me it's just against the
23:32Cowboys you throw the ball deep down field and live with the results and I think that's exactly what DeVonta Smith's going to do here. So last week
23:39wide receiver eight and wide receiver eight usage with Tanner McKee. That was against the Panthers backup corners but you know, it's still the Dallas
23:46Cowboys corners as well.
23:48>> The Eagles are the only team in the NFL to have zero successful under center play action plays in blitz so far this
23:54season. Like truly zero for zero. Zero for 18.
23:57>> Oh gosh.
23:59>> And you saw it last week like they tried in the first play of the game. Yes. So these weeks I mean
24:06I brought this up in Satcher's film with Tanner McKee.
24:08There's just nothing quick about his name and that's paired with an offensive line that struggles to communicate and then also has like a bad
24:16protection plan and so to me the best avenue for any type of success for the Eagles now is to go gun and spread it out. Like we can't
24:26do the under center stuff anymore even if Shawn Mayne and want to build the offense around that. So >> Totally agree.
24:31>> Maybe they'll adjust but there's also been some rumblings that Shawn Mayne and does not want to adjust what he's doing.
24:36Okay, unfortunately wow, B tier for the big boys on the outside. Quez Watkins, Zach Pascal and Jalen Reagor back to back in your rankings. This is
24:47just about where consensus rankings have Quez Watkins but they have Reagor as wide receiver 20. He's your wide receiver 16. So talk to the coke heads
24:56and the tetramines out there with this duo. [gasps] >> Um the Panthers are fourth in expected half PPR points to their wide receivers
25:03across the the season. So, both these guys can get home. By the way, that's at 34.7. They don't really use a a third
25:09wide receiver very much. Like, you know, if we give each one of those guys 40%of that, we're talking about they have wide
25:15receiver one upside based on the match-up. So, I think this match-up is fairly good. I like the Buccaneers corners, although they're kind of feisty
25:25out there, but because the uh defensive line is like really showing like a lot more depth this year than they have
25:31previously, and they still got Vita Vea, it's just like one of the most obvious pass funnels out there. So, like I think
25:36they're going to throw the ball relentlessly in this one. The Bucks have only given up 75 yd per game on the
25:41ground, and then they're, you know, above average in pass yd per game as well. So, Coker, Terrace Marshall, I think they're
25:49pretty equal talents. They kind of get there uh similar ways, but you talked about the differences, more explosiveness from Jaylen Coker, more
25:55like fluidity from Terrace Marshall. Uh I think match-up-wise it's it's pretty strong for for both of them. Team total's also at 23 and 3/4 points, which
26:04is like knocking on the doors of a top 10 number.
26:07>> Yeah, the Bucks actually face the league's fastest time to throw at 2.6 seconds, but fourth lowest in terms of air yd per attempt at 6.5. So, you would
26:15think that means fewer downfield shots.
26:17Then you look at like the Bucks, they play single high and specifically cover three 49%of time, that's second most in the league, and they kind of stayed
26:25static in their approach to no matter who they played so far this season. So, we'll see the Panthers dial up some
26:31shots in those single high looks quite a bit.
26:33>> All the best defenses is just blitzing, showing blitzes, simulated pressures, and then having guys deep downfield and making you throw the ball underneath.
26:40Like, that's that's how the best defenses operate right now. Like, shout out Brian Flores.
26:44>> Okay, Tee Higgins is your wide receiver 17. This is against the Baltimore Ravens, as we just talked about.
26:52Outside the red zone, Tee Higgins has a 26%target share, which makes sense. But Hayden, inside the red zone, just one red zone target this season. Uh we need
27:01that to even out a little bit. Like that would be great for those of us that drafted him in fantasy football.
27:05>> I'm sure that will. You know, when you're 6'4, I'm sure you will get more than that. Uh yeah, it's just been a kind of a weird
27:11season in general for for the Bengals.
27:13Like they were like stopping teams cuz their defense was so good. And like that's kind of coming come undone a little bit. Uh last week he was like I
27:21didn't think he was going to play. Then he goes out there and plays on that abductor injury. He doesn't really do
27:24anything against the Dolphins. It's just like felt like a good time to get the bye week out of the way. Kind of settle
27:29back in. Uh this game has a really high game total uh as well. It's just supposed to be 25 to 24. Uh slight
27:37slight favor or slight underdog for the Bengals. Like I always love those, you know, type of game scripts. Like we don't see that all the time from from
27:44Cincinnati cuz they're a good team. But like these are the type of games where Joe Burrow can drop back 42 times. And
27:49>> Yep.
27:50>> too big to fail.
27:51>> George Pickens is next for you. You hinted that we would talk about it. We are now. Um Should we talk about the Brian
27:59Schottenheimer comments? Or do you want to talk about his match up first? Let's do his match up first. Like this is a
28:02game last year in George Pickens'best season that slowed him down in week one.
28:07And I really wouldn't expect anything different.
28:09>> Yeah, so he had 30 scoreless yards against Philadelphia. I do remember in that week one game, he drew a couple
28:15defensive pass interferences. And like we were coming on stats versus film, I was like, "Hey, like this guy like it's going to work out." And then they played
28:21in week 12, and he finishes the wide receiver four that week. So I'm not saying that Pickens can't get home uh in
28:27this difficult match up. But Quez Watkins, I would say, is one of the top five best corners in the league. And
28:33they're not moving Pickens around the formation at all. Like I think it's like, you know, 2%in the slot or whatever it is.
28:38Um so that's going to be the battle. I'm not saying he can't do it. The team total is really strong at 24 and 1/2
28:43points.
28:44Um but it is definitely a more difficult match up. You're just like looking at, you know, talk about the CeeDee Lamb of it all
28:50versus George Pickens.
28:51>> So, Brian Schottenheimer talked about Pickens this week and he said, quote, "He needs to understand that he impacts us in the running game as well. He's got
28:58to do the same thing in the run game picking up safeties and blocking corners just like Juwan Williams does picking up
29:02blitzes so he can catch balls." Um if you go and watch some of the blocking snaps from George Pickens, not great. It's kind of
29:10like Marvin [clears throat] Harrison Jr.
29:11uh level effort during the days of the Arizona Cardinals. But um yeah, I This to me is not a squeaky wheel
29:20situation. Uh but we'll see.
29:23We'll see.
29:25Garrett Wilson is next as your wide receiver 20.
29:28The guy you just traded away, sent off into the distance. I mean, you talk about great match-ups though. This is against the Miami Dolphins. The Jets
29:36have converted a league-low though, 37% of their red zone trips into touchdowns.
29:41That needs to be better.
29:42>> It probably will be better. That brings us to the you know, Breece Hall has a chance to play. Uh Adonai Mitchell's
29:47expected to play. So, now we have Omar Cooper back in the lineup, Adonai Mitchell back in the lineup. Kenyan Drake and Mason Taylor both been out
29:54there uh the last couple weeks as well.
29:56And now we might get Breece Hall plus Bralon Allen's been playing well. That's a lot of players and the team totals at
30:0222 points. I will also say this about the Dolphins. And we see this a couple times uh each season. There's a a team
30:07that is so bad that they're actually good at against fantasy wide receivers.
30:12Not because they're like shutting them down, it's just because they're like you just don't need your wide receivers. And we're kind of reaching that point with
30:17the Dolphins. They're the second best defense against fantasy wide receivers this season, which is crazy because they don't have anybody in the secondary. Uh
30:25so, I don't want to lean into that too much because, you know, the Jets and Dol-Dolphins like this game could stay
30:29pretty close. And then now now all of a sudden Garrett Wilson's just dunking on these corners that we haven't really heard heard from at all. Um but because
30:36they've been so bad against tight ends and stopping the run and whatnot, like I think this is just like one of these
30:41games where like everyone can like kind of get home and we just might not see like some huge breakout from any of
30:47these guys. So, um don't love it.
30:50>> I mentioned the death league earlier. My star wide receivers are Jamar Chase and CeeDee Lamb, but I'm debating at the
30:56wide receiver three spot between Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave. And so your drastic ranking between the two makes me lean Chris Olave. However, like
31:06if you're not playing Garrett Wilson against the Miami Dolphins, you know, like when when are we playing Garrett Wilson?
31:10You know?
31:11>> You can always trade him. [laughter] >> Yeah.
31:16For some reason I kind of think Olave might have more bottoming out potential here just because of the Tyler Lockett-ness of it all at this moment
31:21and the offensive line, but that's a debate I'm going to have all all weekend long. Okay, DK Metcalf against the New Orleans Saints is next
31:31up. This one is in Paris, I believe. If I'm remembering correctly.
31:36Uh New Orleans is playing single high coverage at the third highest rate. And DK Metcalf against single high 32%of the team's targets. Um
31:45yeah, I mean we will need a big play at some point from DK this season that's for sure.
31:51>> Yeah, last four games he's the wide receiver 30 and wide receiver 25 usage.
31:55He's had some drops along the way, some defensive pass interferences along the way. Like I think it's pretty clear uh can be especially in you know, good
32:02enough match-ups. This is a defense that, like, structurally does not want players like DK Metcalf to be the ones that beat them,
32:09uh, but they also just, like, don't have enough talent; and you know, 165 yards to, like, Neighbors, 68 yards and a
32:15score to Justin Jefferson, 96 yards to Drake London, even a wide receiver 22 finish to Jahan Dotson, who got him, uh,
32:21down the field as well. So, they just like haven't been able to stop anybody.
32:24Team total's almost at 24 points above average uh in Paris here.
32:29On Metcalf, it's crazy to not change teams, still have the same quarterback in your role changes as large as it has
32:37this year. He's back to like, you know, the Seahawks version vertical X receiver stuff. And then Jeremy Bernard's going to get a lot of the manufactured
32:44touches. Now, they will throw a couple screens to DK Metcalf as a change-up because Jeremy's so physical as a blocker. And if they like the matchup,
32:52they'll throw the ball out. So, it's not that he just gets nothing underneath, but it's a lot more of these crossers,
32:57post verticals, passes, stop routes on the outside for DK Metcalf rather like than last year where like some of his best plays were like quick slants and
33:03that type of stuff.
33:05>> Yeah. It's why I like Jeremy so much.
33:07Okay, Emeka Egbuka is your wide receiver 22. On Thursday, Greg Auman posted and observed that it didn't seem like Emeka Egbuka was going
33:17to play because of a what? Concussion protocol and toe injury. And then he's practicing on Friday and we're back on track for Emeka Egbuka to play here at
33:26the Carolina Panthers. So, it's been a horrible season for Egbuka, a horrible season for Baker Mayfield, uh but, you know, three snaps against
33:35Ickey Ekwonu could kind of change this whole game for him.
33:38>> I think he's a perfect buy low. I just don't think they have anywhere else to go in the offense. Like I've seen that
33:44Chris Godwin just like does not have enough speed at this point. Ted Ginn is like very clearly in development. Cade Otton can't really make plays. So, to
33:52me, if this offense could just be like a little bit better than what it was, which is the worst quarterback performance in the league through first
33:59six weeks, then I think Emeka's like on pace to like become very fantasy relevant again. Across this season, he's the wide receiver 30 on wide receiver 19
34:07usage. He's wide receiver 20 in targets per game at 7.7.
34:12Um, and I just think that the quarterback play will eventually get better. Now, Baker Mayfield coming back from a thumb injury, he's always like
34:18comes back like a week early and then kind of stinks for a little bit. Like that's just like what he's done
34:22throughout his entire career. So, I don't like love the spot, but the Panthers defense, you can tell me if I'm crazy here, I think they're going to be
34:30end up being way better against the run than the pass for the next month or so.
34:33And I think just looking at the roster, their backup corners are not nearly as good as their front seven, and we
34:38haven't seen that in the spreadsheets as much. But like, I just think like the...
34:41I'm going to "I know ball" this one and think that the Buccaneers are going to have to throw the ball a little bit more
34:46than people expect. And to me, Emeka is the focal point of the offense if you guys have been watching that offense,
34:50which I really hope you have not.
34:53>> Michael Wilson is next. This is against the Denver Broncos. He is your wide receiver 24. Um >> There's been a lot of time spent talking
35:01about Michael Wilson. And hey, I don't want to call him overrated at all, but I think it's a lot of time spent on a guy
35:08that really hasn't performed consistently this season in a from a fantasy football lens, and that's, you know, tied to the quarterback play. But
35:14he's been the wide receiver 35, then wide receiver 84, then wide receiver 4 and 20, and then wide receiver 53 and 56
35:22over the last 2 weeks. And now he gets the Broncos, albeit a banged-up secondary. You don't know if Surtain's going to play or how much Rondale
35:29Moore's going to play and all this type of stuff, but that's a pretty rough go of it lately.
35:33>> Yeah, I think this is going to be a longer conversation. I'm assuming Pat Surtain's not going to play. That was
35:38like the latest report from Palmer. And then on the Michael Wilson of it all, last week I went back and watched all of
35:45the dropbacks for the Cardinals, like specifically just looking for like what Michael Wilson's doing. I think this is still an excellent role. He had two
35:51screens in that game. He was just missed on two different end zone shots where if he would have come down with either one
35:58of them, and they were just talking just missed on them, then we would not be talking about Michael Wilson like not
36:04like living up to expectations. So, I think he's still a buy low. I will say the Jacoby Jacoby Brissett is just not
36:10playing good football right now, and I think that is costing Michael Wilson some fantasy points here. Um so, yeah, I'm I'm guess I'm like kind of splitting
36:18the difference between he's been the wide receiver 28 this month, but on wide receiver five usage. I think that he's not going to live up to like the crazy
36:24usage that he's had, but I also don't think that things are going to be as bad as they have been recently. So kind of
36:28splitting the difference as like an upside wide receiver three, I guess.
36:32>> Yeah, my only concern is their schedule doesn't get any easier and they're not hitting the garbage time stuff nearly as
36:37well as they did last year because like the downfield passing is is rough.
36:41>> Do you see the Carson Beck stuff? He's had back injuries and he's just like barely able to walk off the practice
36:47field. So like their backup plan right now, like, you know, we might get nothing from Carson Beck. It's like too early to tell, but I was listening to
36:53the the Panther or the Cardinals podcasters and they're like, "This is not good."
36:58You know, Carson Beck's like, "I can't."
36:59He's just He can't practice.
37:01>> How?
37:01Wait. How can he not practice when he hasn't played in games?
37:04>> That's what they're saying. They're like, "Oh, this is We're talking about like non-contact, you know, back injuries. Like this isn't good."
37:11>> Wow.
37:12All right. Um are we going to stay in this here?
37:15Do we go down? What do we do from here?
37:17>> Um let's keep him in there. I think him and Imecca is pretty similar.
37:21>> Okay. Oops. That's my bad. This is Jameson Williams as your wide receiver 25. This is again against the Green Bay
37:28Packers secondary.
37:30Um the Packers so far this season have only allowed three of 13 targets on 20 plus yard throws to be completed. That's
37:37fourth in the league in terms of a 23% completion rate.
37:40>> Yep.
37:41I I had it that they had the lowest uh yards per reception allowed in the league. They just want everything to be
37:46a funneled underneath. It's a very very well-coached defense. Like I really respect them. The other thing about the Packers defense, they have three awesome
37:54safeties and all of them are making plays.
37:57Uh Bullard um and then uh Evan Williams has been making awesome plays as well.
38:02So just a a really well-thought-out secondary right now that works against Jameson Williams. All that said, you have a 20 team total at home. You know,
38:12this is the type of environment that Jameson Williams, even if the spreadsheets are saying it's not a good match up for him and I I do agree with
38:17that.
38:18This is still just the game that you want out there. Um so I think he's a boom bust wide receiver three. That's
38:23what he's That's what he's been. The Sam Laporta of it all is making his floor a lot lower on a week-to-week basis. It
38:29doesn't take away from the ceiling, though.

39:21>> Okay, let's talk Jaylen Waddle.
39:23He's next here.
39:24And despite how bad he's been, I mean, I don't think you can really move him much worse than wide receiver 26 on the season um, for this week. Now,
39:34Fball_insights, and you can post charts of anything, but he did one of middle pass rate on the X axis and in-breaker targets per
39:42route on the Y axis. And I mean, the Denver Broncos are on an island by themselves in the bottom left-hand corner. It is absurd. So, yes,
39:51obviously Jaylen Waddle's dropping a pass every single game, but Hayden, so much to me is just on the quarterback here. And uh, unfortunately, the
39:58quarterback is not changing at this point.
40:00>> He's not. I will give our audience some cope. Um, and maybe this is just more for me cuz I drafted plenty of Jaylen
40:06Waddle.
40:07They faced the Chiefs, Jaguars, Rams, 49ers, Chargers, and Seahawks to open the year.
40:13That's That without looking at the other schedules, that has to be the most difficult passing match-up schedule in the league so far.
40:20>> Now, counterpoint.
40:22Plays have been open over the middle of the field against those defenses, and he's just not throwing them.
40:27>> I agree, yeah.
40:28Uh not defending Bo Nix, I can easily see him saying, you know, I'm not going to lose this game. Uh all right, it's
40:34not going to be evident that I lost in this game by throwing all these interceptions. I'm still losing the game, but it's just less obvious.
40:40Uh, and I'm going to take more chances against the Cardinals defense, which is a little bit better at linebacker and up
40:47front than it is in the secondary. And like, you know, hopefully this is like what the Bears were talking about: like
40:52from week seven on, after the schedule kind of loosens up a little bit, they catch fire. That's as good of the cope
40:58as I'm going to give. Uh he's not catching nearly as many screens I thought he was. The deep shots have not
41:04been there like I thought they were. And then the last two weeks Sean Payton's called the two lowest neutral pass rate
41:09games of the season. That goes from like like first and through the first uh four weeks to like close to last over the
41:14last two weeks. So, hopefully, you know, Sean Payton was just kind of like easing the offense in and hopefully it kind of
41:19takes off from here. But that's that's all projection. There's nothing about this the first six weeks that makes us feel like that's actually going to
41:24happen.
41:25>> Yeah, mentioned this with Harmon yesterday that seasons are long. You know, think about all the positivity in your fantasy lineups last year about Luther Burden
41:36and Cole Kmet and Loveland, and that didn't start until week six of the NFL season. They did nothing for the first
41:41five. And yet, the final 10, 11, 12 weeks those were weekly conversations of, "Hey, these are must-start, can't bench fellas." So,
41:51again, it would be quite a turnaround for Bo Nix to magically feel better about his ankle and for him to start
41:57throwing over the middle of the field, but the schedule lines up for it, and he has done it in the past more often than
42:02he is doing this season. So, there's a chance. I'll leave the light on for it, but again, uh it gets easier
42:13from here out, especially against the Arizona Cardinals. Okay.
42:17Jerome Bernard is your wide receiver 27.
42:20Once again, I freaking love Jerome this week. Loved him last week. He was the wide receiver two.
42:25I mean, the Saints have allowed a league-high 26 red zone trips so far this season, and on top of that, Jerome's played in the slot 56 and 62%
42:34of his snaps over the last two games.
42:36>> I have a wide receiver 19, wide receiver nine usage in those two games. He's finished as the receiver three and wide
42:42receiver nine in them. He's, you know, he's exactly what Rodgers likes. He likes a little inside-outside player that can work over the middle. He's very
42:50physical, and you can see that obviously in the touchdown.
42:54And then after the game, Rodgers says, "There comes a time when the confidence starts to match the potential." And I think we're reaching that with Jerome.
43:01Very proud of him. So, all the signs are there for him to be a offensive rookie of the year candidate, one of the best
43:07waiver wire picks of the week. I thought you guys handled that extremely well on the waiver wire show. So, hopefully you
43:12guys our our followers have picked him up. And I think you pick him up and you keep starting him.
43:18And the team total's above average. The Saints, you know, are like willing to let a Jerome Bernard kind of beat them.
43:24That's just structurally how their defense operates. They have broken They've allowed so many broken tackles this year, and that's, you know, kind of
43:31playing right into Jerome Bernard.
43:33>> Um I talked about Joel or talked with Joel about this on our Amazon show. I asked Harmon this question last night on his
43:40channel. So, I'll ask you.
43:43Rest of season, you can only pick one rookie that you want to start or roster, and his name is not Jeremiah
43:52Love.
43:53Who is it?
43:55>> Well, I was going to say Jeremiah Love, so good good caveat there. It's >> I guess if you wanted to roll the dice,
44:06you like Jordan Tyson might have an easier path to like really getting there, but that's that's too risky for me. Um
44:13I'll say Jeremy.
44:14>> Yeah, I said Jeremy. Um I think Joe might have said Denzel Mims Washington after Jeremiah Love, and then Matt said, "Hey, Jordan Addison is an
44:22interesting shot once he gets back."
44:24>> Yeah, Kyle Pitts right there as well.
44:25They're all going to be like wide boom-bust wide receiver threes. I think all of them are like passing the eye test to me, which is nice.
44:30>> Well, Kyle Pitts is next for you. He's wide receiver 28. This is against the Cleveland Browns. He has had wide
44:36receiver 11 weeks bookend here.
44:39Um you know, the underlying metrics in terms of market share really favor him.
44:44Wide receiver nine in target share, wide receiver two in air yard share. But Hayden, like the team market shares matter less for the Tennessee Titans
44:51when they're projected for around 17 points every single week. Yeah, versus, you know, a team projected for 27 points.
44:58>> The the share numbers just drive me absolutely crazy. I I built this whole website to help me with my preparation.
45:04We use it for the show. Eventually, you guys will see this, hopefully. I don't have a single share website or part of
45:10the website out there. Like it is just all what are you actually doing for me on a per game basis here, per target
45:17basis.
45:18Get the shares totally out of there.
45:20That said, Kyle Pitts is by far the Titans best wide receiver. He was making some awesome plays last week. I think his
45:25ball skills are excellent. I think he can run the full route tree. I think that he's going to be a very, very, very
45:29good wide receiver.
45:31This matchup, he will see some Denzel Ward, but Denzel Ward only plays one side. So, if the Titans have any clue at
45:37all, they would like not put him to that side. We saw that with Garrett Wilson, who played less on that side a couple
45:43weeks ago. It's like a good like litmus test. Like, do the Titans have a pulse at all? Like at all. And if they do,
45:49then they can go the other way.
45:50>> Yeah, I mean, they're only what, one and a half point underdogs in this game. It should be like is projected to be the lowest total of
45:56the week, if I'm not mistaken.
45:57>> Oh, yeah.
45:58>> Uh talk to us about your guy, Xavier Worthy, as the wide receiver 29 against the Seattle Seahawks.
46:06>> Well, he kind of went to the Rashee Rice role except, you know, offering zero broken tackle ability. Um so, he's not
46:13nearly as good at it, but they had Jaylen Royals and Andrew Armstrong like just running wind sprints down the field and then Xavier Worthy would just like
46:20mesh concept after mesh concept. A couple screens behind the back or behind the line scrimmage stuff. You know you know what it is. Uh that's really fun
46:28against the the Chargers defense and it gets less fun against the Seahawks defense. You know he's going to have to do that with like here comes Nick
46:34Niemann worrying chasing him down and they got good linebackers and a well-coached team. Um so, it's just a little bit harder to get there. The
46:41Chiefs team total is under 20 points.
46:43So, we have not said that very often. Um they are the three-point dogs here against the Seahawks. I totally get that. With Rashee Rice out here, you
46:52know, Mahomes is still going to get his like to some degree. So, I think that Worthy and Kelce are like fine enough
46:58plays. It's a little bit harder to see the total upside here assuming that they're going to run Kenneth Walker, you know, he's going to get 30 touches in
47:05this one in a revenge spot.
47:07>> Yeah, last week Xavier Worthy was the wide receiver 27. So, a repeat of that would be I think the best you can expect.
47:15Um okay, Denzel Boston is next. I am starting Denzel Boston in a league.
47:20Hey Nick, can be high variance. He's doing a high wire act right now. Well, one cuz he's playing with Deshaun Watson, but his aDOT per target is uh
47:3017 yards.
47:33Everything is just so deep.
47:35Fortunately, the Titans allow a league-high 75%catch rate to outside wide receivers, but I'll just bring up the Casey Conception stuff. All of his
47:43numbers are so short and so low. Like Denzel Boston has 578 air yards on the season. Casey Conception has 182. I
47:53would love it if both were at like 350.
47:55>> Yeah, [laughter] no, I totally with you.
47:57Like Casey Contes A dot is at under 7 yards. We can get that up. Now he's getting, you know, 23% of his targets are screens. Like let's
48:04not take that away. It's just like on the other plays like let's send him down. So like he is lightning fast. Um
48:10the problem is like the catchable ball rate numbers are like really weak for both of them. Even though, you know, Casey Contes is like working underneath
48:16his catchable ball rate under 70%still.
48:19So it's like you know, we're just like not getting enough production out of these guys not because they're fault, but just because
48:25of the nature of the passing. With Denzel Boston, he's been running really pure like this season. He's the wide receiver 26 on
48:32wide receiver 36 usage. That gap has was larger a couple weeks ago and now it's starting to get closer and closer to his
48:39expectation. And unfortunately, like he can finish below his expectation because the quarterback play is like well below expectation.
48:46>> Right. With a different quarterback, he wouldn't have to run pure. Like he could still have the same weeks that he's
48:50doing because of the talent, but he has to with the quarterback he's attached to. Oh yeah.
48:54>> Oh yeah.
48:55>> Okay, De'Von Achane is next for you as wide receiver 31. And if we are adjusting for Chris Olave, I mean we
49:01have to adjust for De'Von Achane.
49:03He has finished as wide receiver 45 or lower in three of his last four games and the Steelers are quite good versus
49:10these slot types.
49:12>> Yeah, I'm just like trying to find somebody I feel more comfortable with out there. I think that the ceiling is
49:17pretty compromised. So if you want to like roll the dice, I think that there's some players that are coming up in this episode that
49:23you could say I just like their upside ability a little bit more. Yeah, the the usage is coming down over the last month
49:29though. He's still the wide receiver 27 in expected points. Like at one point that was like top 20. It's kind of, you
49:34know, dropped down a little bit. Uh but also like last game they were up 34 to 10 at like near halftime.
49:41You know, so like you can almost not entirely throw that game out, but that was a weird game. And then you had
49:45Flores like the week before that. Like we could come back and be like, you know what? They still threw the ball 44 times
49:50and Achane got his 62 yards and got out of there.
49:53>> Yep. Okay.
49:56Next is Omar Cooper against the Miami Dolphins. We did get confirmation that I'm Mitchell will play.
50:03Do you think that one of these guys is going to own the two wide receiver sets snaps or do you think that they're going
50:08to kind of rotate them between he and I Mitchell?
50:11>> I think it's going to be more of a rotation. I looked into it. The Jets have used three wide receiver sets on about
50:1771%of their pass plays this year. That's about 15th, but I think the context of that is they haven't had their wide
50:25receiver two and wide receiver three healthy while they've had two awesome tight ends healthy for them for a lot of those games. So you have to assume like
50:32that number is only going to come up now that the wide receiver group is out there. So I think he's going to still be
50:37out there for at least 71%of the drop backs. I think it's probably going to be closer to like 80. I'm going to guess
50:43Cooper and I Mitchell kind of split two wide receiver sets and I think it's going to be that Cooper is just going to
50:48get a lot more of the you know, first read type of targets.
50:52He looks really good. Like his explosiveness was >> Yep.
50:56>> pretty evident in in that game.
50:58And like you said, like we haven't seen his like kind of signature, you know, yak, lower your shoulder moment. So there's a chance that he's just like
51:05that he can easily be the best rookie outside of Jerry my love rest of season this year.
51:09>> Yep. Trey Tucker is next.
51:12This is your wide receiver 33. So the Rams have not allowed a passer to have 208 Excuse me, 219 passing yards against
51:20them in a game this season. Now they get Kirk Cousins who is playing some good football right now and Trent McDuffie is still not practicing.
51:27Correct me if I'm wrong.
51:28>> Mhm.
51:28>> So that's a big deal for Brock Bowers because Brock Bowers has been slowed down somewhat against the top corners.
51:36We saw it with Christian Benford last week and when Benford wasn't covering him then he the ball was just going his
51:41direction. So if your number one corner is out then that also trickles down I think, to Trey Tucker having some uh uh advantages against others,
51:52especially with how he's being targeted and used down the field.
51:55>> Yeah, across the season, he's the wide receiver 24 and wide receiver 33 usage.
51:58I think that's like fairly sticky. Like, I like, you know, kind of the boom-bust wide receiver three range. Uh I think
52:04Kirk Cousins playing really nice football. Like, those two throws to Trey Tucker on the those touchdowns were like two of the best throws that you'll see
52:11the entire season.
52:12Um so, yeah, I think that, you know, Kirk is doing what Kubiak is telling him to do, which is like, you have to throw
52:18those deep balls. And guess what? Like, most of those deep balls go to Trey Tucker, who is really, really, really fast on tape. Uh I had the same notes
52:25defensively. Like, historically, the Rams do not get beat beat deep this season, second fewest wide receiver fantasy points on passes with 15-plus
52:34air yards.
52:35Um that's just like something structural that on top of just like how much talent they have back there.
52:40Um but, it does take a step back um without McDuffie, for sure. So, I think he's a boom-bust wide receiver three,
52:44like he'll be the rest of the year.
52:46>> Okay, last name we'll spend a lot of time on is Malik Washington. This is your wide receiver 34. I mean, he is
52:54your new Cole Beasley. He is your new Wan'Dale Robinson, in terms of if you want seven and a half to nine and a half
53:03fantasy points in your lineup, that is what Malik Washington is giving you on a weekly basis.
53:07>> Yeah, I think I'm going to have to move him down a couple spots. Just before we got started, Caleb Douglas is probably
53:12going to come back. Um and not that Caleb Douglas is going to some some crazy threat, but we're working on like
53:18pretty slim margins right now with with Malik Washington.
53:22Um the team total is at 17 and a half points. He's a little bit more insulated cuz he's going to get some backfield
53:26touches. He's going to get the the quick game stuff, where Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas are going to kind of take the
53:31top off of things, but um yeah, I'm not scared of the Jets defense whatsoever here. It's just more that we kind of
53:37like took advantage of the Malik Washington PPR scheme over couple weeks without Caleb Douglas like you know, it's a little bit harder to
53:45sell that uh once we get the guy that was supposed to be like the top guy in the passing game back in the offense.
53:50And by the way, Chris Bell I think he's passing the test I I test-wise like he's got tons of burst uh even though he's
53:56like very clearly coming back from a a big-time injury.
53:59>> Yeah, the Dolphins are doing it right.
54:00Again, a lot of their rookies look really strong and they're losing close games.
54:05So, I I want to see Malik Washington, Chris Bell, and Caleb Douglas for like the rest of the season.
54:10>> And see if that can be their wide receiver trio heading into next season.
54:14That'd be cool.
54:15>> Okay.
54:16Jordan Addison is your wide receiver 35.
54:20Uh Keenan Allen is your wide receiver 36.
54:24Yes, ahead of Josh Downs who's at wide receiver 41.
54:27>> Uh and then we have, you know, Casey Concepcion. And let's talk Jacoby Lane a little bit. I am intrigued by Jacoby
54:35Lane. I keep talking about him this week. Uh he played one half in the first game of the season and saw
54:42three red zone targets including two end zone targets and then a touchdown wiped away not because of anything he did. And
54:48then this past week with Tyler Huntley at quarterback, he gets another end zone target on top of it. So, I don't want to
54:55go overboard and say that hey, finally we have a wide receiver two that matters on the Ravens. But just from a winning
55:01football game standpoint, he is going to be a significant role player for this team because he brings some element to their offense that really no one else
55:08does in that room.
55:10>> Yeah, I think very well put. Um I don't love that he's going to get DJ Turner in this one. Now, DJ Turner is
55:17like a great athlete. I think that's going to give Jacoby Lane a lot of troubles, but there's kind of a size
55:21mismatch between the two there. So, like some of these like back shoulder balls and um we'll see. They can move Jacoby
55:26Lane around and Rashod Bateman's actually seen DJ Turner too. So, I don't want to like knock the match up too much, but historically
55:31this is the type of wide receiver that kind of takes a beating versus uh the Bengals. Uh I think that Jacoby
55:37Lane's going to finish with like, you know, seven touchdowns this year and Lamar Jackson is playing excellent football. Dalton Doyle's been awesome.
55:44Their offensive line looks way better than I thought it was because Vegas is awesome. They're going to maybe get Cam Jurgens back from the concussion
55:50protocol this week. Well, we'll figure that out in a little bit. And I think there's a chance that the Ravens like
55:54really take off. So, um yeah, I think Jacoby Lane's is a very fun waiver wire addition. I think that if he's still on
56:00the waiver wire, if your like league's asleep, I think that he's one of the best bench stashes there is. Uh we have
56:05not seen Lamar with this type of player.
56:07I guess it's like we have and it's been Mark Andrews and Mark Andrews has been awesome. So, hopefully Lane's kind of
56:12the next coming.
56:14>> Yeah. Oh, Emeka Egbuka doubtful according to Wease to play.
56:19>> Come on.
56:20>> So, so so maybe the original Greg Auman post was was correct here from the start.
56:25>> Enough.
56:26>> Um well, I guess then we have to bring up and I'll just throw up like Josh Downs' name just real quick. He's been outside the
56:35top 40 wide receivers in three straight games. This is a huge spot for Shane Steichen, by the way. Like, if he
56:41somehow pulls an upset, I'm not sure if it's really going to matter in the end, cuz this, you know, ship is kind of barreling
56:47towards the iceberg a bit. But hey, I mean, Shane Steichen is a good coach, and if he's the one to kind of, with
56:53this decrepit roster, uh, bounce back against a Brian Flores defense, that'd be a statement. But maybe for the Chargers and the Eagles,
57:02not for the Colts.
57:03>> Well, I'm not sure. I I can easily see um the new ownership saying we want somebody that's going to lead the charge
57:13at GM and we've already found the head coach that's been successful. And like it's just going to be we need a new
57:18top-down approach. And I think a lot of times like ownership cares about the GM stuff because like that's who's like calling shots on the business and like
57:27communicating with them. Like there's there's so much on their plates that they kind of view them as like this is like my right-hand man. And like they
57:35might just say, I needed a couple months to figure out who that is. And by the way, we already got Shane Steichen at
57:40home. Like where could we be set here?
57:42Unfortunately, for like this matchup though, the Vikings are like throw the ball out quickly to our guys out in the flats.
57:48And the Colts are like, okay, we'll do that. And then could Josh Downs catch the football? That would be nice. He's
57:54not going to break any tackles. He's just too small. And that's where I kind of go to Keenan Allen. I'm like, Keenan
57:58Allen's catching the football.
58:00And he at least can like break a couple tackles because he's so big.
58:04Like Keenan Allen's been better than Josh Downs this year. Like I I don't know what else to say. Like that's that's not that crazy to to say. Like
58:10I've been watching the game. Like Josh Downs is just like not making enough plays.
58:13Um >> Yep.
58:14>> Even though he's way faster. It's just like his catch radius is so small. Like I mean You kind of nailed the Josh Downs stuff
58:21from this offseason. You're like, we kind of like him in the slot and like that role. And then you try to
58:25extrapolate from that. It's just he just doesn't have, you know, like those skills and his size.
58:30>> I never debated that he wasn't going to play in two wide receiver sets. It was just if he was going to be successful in
58:34those two wide receiver sets. Cuz anytime he lined up outside previously, it was, hey, we create this perfect environment for him.
58:42Like we motion him and we stack him and we do the it's never just aligning up on the ball and winning his routes. It just
58:48wasn't that. And I'm not a Josh Downs hater at all. I was just trying to be a Josh Downs realist. And on top of this,
58:52like Tyler Boyd is DNP DNP to open the week.
58:56>> Yeah.
58:58Tough team right now.
58:59>> It's real it's real rough.
59:01Uh okay.
59:02I mean, I do feel like we need to say something about a Chargers, excuse me, a 49ers wide receiver.
59:08They are 26 point projected team total. They are favorites by now just two and a half on the road.
59:16But Mike Evans is not going to play. We can go down the entire list of 17 other wide receivers that are not going to
59:21play. You have Christian Kirk as the highest. What is your confidence level in having Christian Kirk the highest of the 49ers wide receivers.
59:28>> Like wide receiver 43 or whatever it is, that's about my confidence level here.
59:32But what I'm going off of is a single Brock Purdy quote where he said, "Christian Kirk and Brandon Cooks look awesome." or whatever it was. It was
59:40something like that. I'm like, "Okay, well he listed those two guys." Uh you know, Christian Kirk was the guy that was like, you know, brought in
59:47first, you know, probably making the most money, um has played the most football, uh and can play inside and outside, so he's going to be the one I
59:54rank the highest. Jacob Cowing uh has been out there just eating snaps or Jordan Watkins been eating snaps but has not played uh or like earned any
60:04targets. Uh yeah, we talked about this.
60:06It's going to be George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey going crazy and then if I had to say one wide receiver randomly has a spike week, which by the
60:11way, it happens every year. Like De'Anthony Robinson will finish as the wide receiver eight on a week uh every single year with Shanahan. So it's totally
60:18possible. My top option for that would be Christian Kirk. I hope we're not there though in fantasy leagues though.
60:24>> Yeah, I'm I'm I kind of wonder if the Christian Kirk positivity is because he's the only one of these wide
60:30receivers we have not seen taking the field this year and we've seen all the other guys.
60:34>> But sometimes that's like a good like if I've seen the other guys fail, like at least like what's in this box? What's in
60:38this Christian Kirk uh coming off another calf injury box?
60:42>> I hear you. Um Okay.
60:45You have like Wan'Dale, he was actually ahead. Uh and then Chris Godwin.
60:50Do you want to say anything about Chris Godwin now that Emeka Egbuka is listed as doubtful? I'll say this, Godwin has not reached
60:5750 receiving yards in a game so far this season. He is averaging 3.8 air yards per target and a career low 9.4 yards
61:05per catch and it looks like a career low in terms of his uh >> Correct.
61:10>> aesthetically athletically movement ability on the field each week.
61:15>> I think I would play him over Malik Washington. Um >> Okay.
61:20>> but I'm kind of looking at the Jordan Addison stuff and be like, do I just want, you know, a functional offense
61:24most likely coming off a bye against the Colts? But yeah, that should be kind of the tier for Chris Godwin. Like I'm not
61:30saying like where Amari Cooper is at wide receiver 22, Chris Godwin like that he's just not capable of that anymore.
61:35So, I think he's a wide receiver three fill-in if you had to with Amari Cooper listed as doubtful, but not feeling great about it.
61:43>> Okay. I'm sure we just screwed up production on that entire moment, but that's totally fine.
61:49We did it. Thanks everyone for tuning in. Hayden is constantly updating his rankings where he was top six in the known universe
