All Fantasy Points insights about Aaron Jones
NegativeUsageOct 29, 2026
Aaron Jones is receiving rest and workload management this week; the team wanted to give him a week to catch his breath. With limited expected usage, the source projects his fantasy value at 60-40 at max, which translates to minimal fantasy production in this spot.PositiveRoleOct 26, 2026
Aaron Jones has been battling injuries and, despite enjoying his best four-week workload stretch of his career recently, saw a significant reduction in Week 7 with only eight carries and one target; this pullback appears intentional to manage his injury status, similar to a UFC fighter taking a round off when ahead.NegativeUsageOct 21, 2026
The source identifies Aaron Jones as a sell candidate because Jordan Mason is expected to return and force a committee, which would make Jones worthless to a fantasy roster despite his recent 17 fantasy points per game average.PositiveProjectionOct 8, 2026
Aaron Jones ranks top-5 among running backs for Week 5. Despite age and flexibility concerns, he has received 20 touches in three straight games and has wasted five goal-line conversions this season, suggesting significant touchdown upside remains available.NegativeBustOct 7, 2026
Sell recommendation despite fringe RB1 status this week. Jordan Mason returns in week seven, which will significantly reduce Jones' snap share and role. At 31 years old, Jones shows visible signs of physical decline (grimaces after tackles, struggles to get off the ground, five forced missed tackles on the season). The source characterizes the Packers offense as inefficient, making Jones' age and durability concerns more pronounced.NegativeRoleSep 25, 2026
Fully healthy Aaron Jones projects as RB14 due to bellcow status with 80.4% snap share and 72% backfield XFP; however, an injury will require a downward adjustment to his ranking. With Mason on IR for at least three more games, Aaron Jones' availability is uncertain heading into Week 3, making his status a critical question mark for Week 3 fantasy planning.PositiveRoleSep 22, 2026
Aaron Jones is used as a historical comparison for a running back who successfully maintained bellcow usage, contrasting with committee-based backfields.NegativeRoleMay 27, 2026
Jones is breaking down at the end of last year, contributing to the Vikings' likely higher pass rate this season.NegativeBustMay 19, 2026
Jones is in his 30s now and likely has only a passing down role, with limited touchdown upside in an offense that will be pass-heavy in the red zone.NegativeValueMay 19, 2026
Aaron Jones is 31 or 32 years old and getting old, with less steam in the market compared to last offseason.PositiveUsageNo date
Aaron Jones is used as a benchmark for high-end bellcow usage, providing context for the volume expectations of other running backs.NegativeProjectionNo date
Aaron Jones is one of the oldest running backs projected to get touches in Week 1, and the author questions whether he can sustain a higher volume role, suggesting Minnesota could shift to a running back by committee approach.
