PositiveValue17:01

Naylor is being drafted in the 13th round on Underdog but remains undrafted on Yahoo, making him a significant value play. The Raiders' passing attack is structured around Brock Bowers, who will not replicate Jason Witten's 36% target share and 50% air-yard share from last year. This creates a clear second-pass-catcher role for Naylor. The coaching staff specifically brought Naylor back to Las Vegas, signaling confidence in his fit. Among all NFL teams, only the Dolphins (Malik Washington), Commanders, and Raiders have a WR2/TE2 drafted later than Naylor, despite the Raiders' passing attack needing a consistent secondary option. Naylor showed consistency with the Vikings under Kevin O'Connell last year and has overlap with Clint Kubiak's offensive concepts: condensed splits, stacks, breaking routes, and off-frame catch opportunities. His tape shows strong route-running ability and separation creation, exemplified by a play against Atlanta where he elevated for a 14-yard gain on a wheel route. Naylor is positioned as the clear second pass-catcher for the Raiders, with no ambiguity about his role, making him the safer bet for consistent target volume.

Matthew Golden

PositiveValue6:48

Golden is being drafted in the 10th round on Underdog but falls to the 15th round on Yahoo, making him a value pick in an elite passing offense. The Packers are projected for the eighth-most points in the league, and Golden played 72 snaps in one- or two-receiver sets as a rookie compared to just eight pass-route snaps for his counterpart Jaylen Reed in those same personnel groupings. As a rookie, Golden played 50% of snaps and ran 1.44 yards per route and 16 targets per route—passable for a first-round draft pick. The Packers drafted him 23rd overall and chose not to re-sign Dontavian Wicks or Romeo Dobbs, signaling internal confidence in his development. LaFleur simplified his role as a rookie with repetitive routes, but there is a pathway for expanded usage and more week-to-week consistency if he receives more diverse route concepts. Golden's snap share is expected to increase significantly from his rookie 50% to closer to 85% on a per-route basis in 2025, with more diverse route concepts from LaFleur. On tape, he shows explosiveness and nearly connected on several long touchdowns.

Rashid Shaheed

PositiveValue1:12

Shaheed signed a $51 million, three-year deal with the Seahawks this offseason—more guaranteed money than Kenneth Walker received from the Chiefs—signaling the team's financial commitment to him as a receiver. Currently drafted as WR57, he offers baseline positive projection plus contingent upside if JSN (who had 35% target share) goes down. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Shaheed had a major spring and is hitting it off with Sam Darnold, with the offense planning to give him more short and intermediate routes. In a 15-game stretch with the Saints (2024–2025) under Spencer Rattler and injured Derek Carr, he averaged 57 yards per game and ranked WR38–WR30 in usage. The Seahawks ranked 30th in 11-personnel (three-WR sets) at 42%, meaning the team will rely heavily on two-WR sets where Shaheed should take over for aging Cooper Cup (33 years old). Among all WR2/TE2 depth-chart players, only the Dolphins, Raiders, and Commanders have later ADP than Shaheed despite Seattle projecting for the ninth-most points in the league and ranking second in scoring last year. Last year he caught just 15 of 26 targets for 188 yards in the regular season (3 catches, 78 yards in playoffs) and saw his route target rate drop from 22% in New Orleans to 14% with the Seahawks, but the financial investment and decision to let Cooper Cup age out suggest Shaheed will be featured more prominently in 2025.

Xavier Worthy

NegativeBust11:01

Worthy had a disastrous 2024 season marked by multiple injuries: a dislocated shoulder in Week 1 (from Travis Kelce running into him), an ankle injury in Week 5, and another ankle setback in Week 13. These injuries forced Andy Reid to limit Worthy's route tree, particularly crossing routes, which were a strength two seasons ago when Worthy ranked WR27 in full PPR. Reid acknowledged the team was "afraid to do certain things with Worthy" after the shoulder injury to avoid further setbacks. Worthy has underperformed as a downfield receiver despite his elite speed; last season he caught only 4 of 16 targets on 20+ yard routes; in his rookie year he caught 7 of 21 on such routes and just 4 of 13 in the intermediate range. Cornerbacks play through his body easily due to his weight and size (140 pounds), and physical corners at the line of scrimmage force him to play at his speed rather than allowing him to play fast. Over his career, Worthy has reached 80 receiving yards in only 3 of 34 appearances—a concerning efficiency metric. If Worthy returns healthy in 2025, the offense plans to reintroduce screens (he averaged 1.5 screens per game two seasons ago but only 0.5 last year) and crossing routes, but his down-to-day consistency as a wide receiver remains questionable and may be overly reliant on Patrick Mahomes' downfield accuracy, which has been inconsistent the past two years.

0:28Are all batteries the same? That's like asking if all soccer players are the same.
0:32Take Messi, the most decorated player ever. Is there any other player who has achieved that?
0:37No, just him. Now take Duracell. Is there any other battery with Power Boost ingredients inside?
0:42No, just Duracell. Remember, goats only trust goats because they're built different and Messi only trusts Duracell.
0:47Oh yes, it is time to unveil our favorite wide receiver sleepers for the season.
0:51A bit of a twist this year. Yes, we are including your home league drafts in this conversation.
0:57So here are the parameters. Okay? Each of these names has to be picked 120 or later.
1:02That's the end of the 10th round either on Underdog or on Yahoo and even sometimes both because we want to include everyone here.
1:09Hayden, kick us off. Who's your favorite wide receiver sleeper this season?
1:12I got Rashid Shahid from the Seahawks this offseason.
1:15He signs a $51 million deal. Three years, a lot of guaranteed money was actually even more money than Kenneth Walker signed with the Chiefs.
1:23So the Seahawks told us with their own dollars that Rashid Shahid is more valuable than Kenneth Walker.
1:28I'm paying attention. Remember, you also treated a third round pick.
1:31Did not have a great season on the Seahawks in terms of his receiving work.
1:36But if you go back to the Saints days, he had a 15 game stretch from 2024 to 2025.
1:41In those 15 games, he had 57 yards per game.
1:44He was the wide receiver 38 and wide receiver 30 usage.
1:48That was with Spencer Rattler and the injured version of Derek Carr as the quarterback.
1:52So I think on a baseline level when he's being drafted as wide receiver 57 right now, I think that there's like
1:59a baseline projection of positive case for him. And then you obviously have the contingent value if something ever happens to JSN
2:05who just had like a ridiculous like 35% target share.
2:08I think that can drop down a little bit.
2:11They get Shahid more involved. I wouldn't expect Cooper Cup to be all that involved, especially something happened to JSN.
2:17And then we also got ESPN's Jeremy Fowler just a couple days ago saying that Shahid had a major spring.
2:23He and Sam Darnold are hitting it off, which makes sense just based off how those two skill sets overlap.
2:29They're going to give him more short and intermediate stuff.
2:31He's going to be a big time player. I think that that last part there, the short intermediate stuff.
2:37He hasn't done that a whole lot in the pros.
2:40Yep. Just watching him and Josh, you probably agree with me.
2:43He's got that that start stop ability where I do think in the right offense, if you do sprinkle in some of
2:50that stuff, I do think there's more value in that.
2:53So I'm hoping that we're not just going to have this, you know, huge downfield role for him.
2:58I think that will pay off in best ball, but I do think there's a pathway by week wide receiver for wide
3:05receiver three where you can throw them in your starting lineup.
3:08If he gets a couple more screens, a couple little shallow crosses and runs after the wind, I need a chance here.
3:15This is one of my favorite picks of the year, too.
3:18He's the fifth pick of the 12th round on underdog and then one pick later over on Yahoo.
3:23So the same exact spot in both drafts at this very moment.
3:27I think there was some frustration last year because he and Clint Kubiak had a history in New Orleans when that offense
3:33with a lava was one of the best in the league for the first three or four years of that partnership.
3:40And then when he goes to New Orleans, you think to yourself, oh, he knows the offense.
3:45He's just going to immediately be inputted into the team.
3:48And that just wasn't the case. Obviously, the special teams impact was massive.
3:51And you could argue that played a major part just getting them one of the top overall seeds in the playoffs and
3:58then obviously getting the Super Bowl ring at the end of it.
4:02But the receiver production, you know, since joining Seattle was extremely minimal.
4:05I mean, 15 of 26 targets he caught in the regular season for just 188 yards since joining the Seahawks.
4:11Obviously, in the playoffs, he had three catches for 78 yards, but he went from being targeted on 22% of his routes
4:18in New Orleans down to 14% this last year.
4:20So let me ask you this, right? Seattle last year was 30th in 11 personnel, three wide receiver sets across the league at just 42%.
4:28So on this team, this is one of the true cases where all we care about is two wide receiver sets.
4:34You have to assume with this nomination and just overall with his talent that he is going to take over for Cooper Cup.
4:41Do you think that's going to be in week one or do you think that's going to be in week four, week five?
4:48I think that happened when they gave him $51 million, you know, Cooper Cup didn't do a whole lot.
4:53He was fine enough on his targets, was not getting it home necessarily.
4:57Now he's 33 years old. So I think just the financial investment, they could have re-signed Kenneth Walker, who the Super Bowl MVP.
5:04They said, no, thank you. We'll figure that out later.
5:07We need Rashid Shahid. I think there's a reason for that.
5:10Him and Sam Darnold downfield is going to work out.
5:13I just really do hope that if something ever happened to JSN, I think that Shahid can be showcased more of a underneath weaponry than he currently has.
5:21My other last note here, I looked at the wide receiver two or the tight end two, whoever's the second in the
5:28depth chart in ADP on their teams. And only the Dolphins, Raiders, and Commanders have a player in that wide receiver slash
5:34tight end two category that's lower than Rashid Shahid.
5:37Remember, the Seahawks just were second in scoring and 10th in passing yards.
5:41Yet their number two pass catcher in the depth chart is one of the latest picks in fantasy.
5:46Obviously, JSN being so dominant explains some of that.
5:49I think there's a big part of that's unexplained, and that's just because it's a bad ADP.
5:54So I think that he should be up a couple rounds from here.
5:58He's going to be very inconsistent if JSN stays the same.
6:01But if JSN does go down, I think that he's going to be an every week starter.
6:06And I do think that he's going to be way more in the mix this year than he was last year.
6:13I love that Seattle projected for the ninth most points in the league this season.
6:17That's exactly the type of offense we want to target.
6:20And yeah, I've got a need. I've got a need for Shahid.
6:23He is just a much better pure individual wide receiver talent that I think give him credit for.
6:29And it makes sense that he couldn't crack the rotation when Cooper Cup was healthy because they won the freaking Super Bowl.
6:35You know, like why change all this stuff? And we know the impact that he brought.
6:40And so this is like the perfect time, the perfect offseason for him to go out there and command those two wide receiver set situations.
6:48Okay, my next name is Matthew Golden. And look, I didn't rank the Packers second year wide receiver as the best wide
6:54receiver in his draft class coming into the league like others did.
6:58In fact, I actually might be slightly less optimistic than others about his individual ceiling in the NFL just because I didn't
7:04see a whole bunch of pop after the catch outside of a couple catches.
7:08And then, you know, he's more of like an on the ground player versus going up and getting it for his quarterback.
7:15But even with that said, I am drafting Matthew Golden in the 10th round on underdog.
7:20And then on Yahoo, he's going in the 15th round way more than I'm just passing up on him because I think
7:26this type of player in this type of offense that's projected for the eighth most points in the league is exactly like
7:33a value rich situation that we should all be taking advantage of during the summers.
7:37I mean, look, all we have to do is now look at this wide receiver room that in the past has given us headaches.
7:44But now we move on from the Dontavian Wicks and whoever else you want to throw out there, the Romeo Dobbs is of the world.
7:52And it's a, we believe, strict three receiver set personnel in a team that use a lot of 11.
7:57Now, when they go to 12, we already saw that Matthew Golden played 72 snaps in one or two receiver set situations
8:04compared to his counterpart in Jane Reed, who has only run a pass route on eight place in one or two wide receiver sets.
8:11So no matter the personnel grouping, and even if some people can argue good people on both sides, what his actual ceiling
8:18is as a player, I still think like we want to find undervalued investments on really good teams and really good passing situations.
8:24And I think Jordan Love can really accentuate the strengths of someone like Matthew Golden in the league.
8:30Yeah, I mean, the routes are going to come way up.
8:33He played about 50% of the Packers snaps as a rookie.
8:36That's going to be closer to 100%. Maybe it's called 85% this year on a per route basis.
8:421.44 yards per routes, nothing crazy. 16 targets per route, nothing too crazy.
8:45But for a rookie, that's like at least passable on a per route basis.
8:50And the explosiveness is pretty evident on his tape.
8:52In my opinion, they nearly came up down with a couple really long touchdowns that were just for whatever reason, we're not connected with.
8:59And I do think that LaFleur kind of simplified Matthew Golden's role as a rookie where it was a lot of the
9:06same type of route over and over again. I think that he can do more than that.
9:11I don't know that for sure. I think there's a pathway for him to do more than that.
9:16And if we do get that, then I think you're going to see his week-to-week consistency kick back up.
9:22They drafted him the 23rd overall pick. They did not have to get rid of Dontavian Wicks.
9:27They could have re-signed Romeo Dobbs. To some degree, that is them saying internally, we feel good about Matthew Golden, who was
9:34an inexperienced, young, early declare coming out. We should expect this type of player in round one to develop over the next couple seasons here.
9:41So I do think he's a perfect sleeper. I think that on a baseline case, he's being drafted where he is.
9:47And if he does turn out to be, hey, guess what?
9:51That's a first-round wide receiver right there. All of a sudden, this could be a huge win.
9:56And look, when he was drafted in the first round, I thought there was a pathway for him to prove that he
10:02was the best wide receiver on the Packers. And that was also a time when Christian Watson was coming back from a significant injury.
10:09Yes. I don't think that's the case now. I think Christian Watson has developed into that good of a player, that Golden's
10:16going to be more of a complimentary piece. But again, that is totally fine here.
10:20A complimentary piece on a really good offense can give you some extremely valuable spots, especially for a player that when we
10:27talked through his profile, started at University of Houston, was above average, was fine, and then went to Texas and really developed
10:33and really improved in a lot of areas. And I think the improvement for him last year was impossible to have based
10:40on the injuries that he had midseason and the shoulder and wrist issues.
10:44And so if we get a healthy offseason here, if we get more development, and again, a tighter, more lean wide receiver
10:50room, then Matthew Golden, it's on him if he's going to fail, right?
10:54He's going to have the opportunity to go out and show that he should be a true starter for this team.
11:00And I think at the very least, he's good enough for that.
11:04All right. Next up. I got Xavier Worthy, and I will fully admit, not the best day to be pumping Xavier Worthy
11:10bags after whatever we're calling that video of him running in the fields.
11:14First of all, I'm not even convinced that is Xavier Worthy.
11:18I will fully retract this if that was Xavier Worthy.
11:21He did repost it. So either this is the best long con and great self-own that we have seen, or Xavier Worthy
11:27is smarter than all of us here. Yeah. So I cannot explain this.
11:31I'm just hoping that whatever I was watching, that was fake news.
11:35If that is fake news, I do think we're in for a bounce back season.
11:39Last year was a disaster. I'm not going to say that it wasn't a disaster.
11:43I think we can potentially contextualize this, and I'll go use Andy Reid here.
11:48Remember, he had the dislocated shoulder in week one because Travis Kelsey ran right into him.
11:52Then he had two different ankle injuries, a week five one, and then another setback in week 13.
11:58And maybe he was just training his ankles in that six-inch blades of grass in that park with the holes in it.
12:04Maybe he's just trying to develop his ankles. But if he's healthier now, I think there's going to use him differently.
12:10And Andy Reid had a really interesting comment. He said, I would tell you that we kind of, after that, were afraid to do certain things with Worthy.
12:19So I think him coming back healthy, I think that opens up the whole picture you saw during training camp, last year's
12:25training camp, where he had a whole bunch of different routes.
12:29What I think that means is some more screens.
12:31His screen rate, he had like one and a half screens per game two seasons ago.
12:36That dropped to only a half screen this last game.
12:39His average depth of target was at 8.9 two years ago.
12:42Last year was at 12.9, only a vertical roll in the offense.
12:46And then he specifically mentioned crossing routes, where when he had his big shoulder injury, they couldn't send him on crossing routes
12:52because you're going to get hit there. And they couldn't afford him to have a setback.
12:57So they took that off the menu. In theory, I mean, that is a fantastic route for Xavier Worthy to be good at.
13:04And that's what he did two seasons ago when he was the wide receiver 27 in full PPR.
13:09So last year was a disaster. I'm just betting on him being healthier.
13:13And I'm also just factoring in the downside case of Travis Kelsey when he's, what, 37 years old, getting married to Taylor Swift.
13:20And, you know, Rasheed Rice, the de facto wide receiver one, was just in jail trying to rehab a knee injury that's
13:26been bothering him for a long time here. So just give me Kansas City's number two wide receiver.
13:32We'll figure out the rest later. I'm not even convinced that Xavier is really good at football.
13:37But in theory, just like we had with Matthew Golden, this is a first round player where the Chiefs have a lot, a lot of hope for him.
13:45And there's really not that much target competition around him.
13:48I've been really underwhelmed by Xavier Worthy since he's been in the NFL.
13:52Not that he doesn't flash speed in certain situations.
13:55And there are obvious moments where Andy Reid used them effectively.
13:58But as like a down to down wide receiver, I think he shows that just because you're the fastest receiver out there
14:05doesn't mean you're the best vertical player out there.
14:07I mean, the numbers back this up. He caught four of 16 targets, 20 plus yards on the field last season.
14:13During his rookie year, he caught seven of 21, 20 plus yards on the field, and then just four of 13 in their intermediate section of the field.
14:22Part of me believes like cornerbacks just play through his body really easily.
14:26And that makes sense, you know, with his weight and with his size.
14:29And then at the line of scrimmage, physical corners don't allow him to play fast.
14:34They force him to play at his speed. And I am a little bit nervous that this is just who he is.
14:40And unless Patrick Mahomes can have like this mind meld, perfect downfield ability, then this is all reliant.
14:46On Kenneth Walker, like changing how defenses are forcing the Chiefs offense to play, which maybe this is maybe this is a,
14:52you know, Kenneth Walker point disguise as a Xavier worthy point where the Chiefs have said, OK, we've had success rate runs.
14:59We've had effective runs, but we are still getting these shells over the top and we haven't been successful downfield passing.
15:05K-9 is going to change that. And if they change that, then we don't have to only rely on the underneath yak
15:12stuff of Roshi Rice and Travis Kelsey. And we can get the Xavier worthy and even Tyquan Thornton, who was the best
15:18downfield receiver for this team last year, get going.
15:21Yeah, I mean, in theory, Kenneth Walker and Xavier worthy are correlated picks together just based off the whole kind of thing
15:27moving forward and the home stays healthy. And then, like you said, just the way that Xavier worthy is being covered down the football field.
15:35And then for whatever reason, the last two years, Patrick Mahomes catch rate on downfield passes is like really bad.
15:41Like it's just the catchable ball rate. So like obviously some of those incompletions are Xavier worthy's fault.
15:46And I agree that sometimes playing through contract has been contact that has been a struggle.
15:51But like the ball has also sprayed on the homes the last couple of years.
15:55I'm not sure that, you know, a torn ACL is going to be perfect for that this year.
16:01But in theory, like Patrick Mahomes could go back to where he wasn't missing for like what, three, four years in a row.
16:07And that would be really nice because there's plenty of times where Xavier worthy would like catch the ball out of bounds.
16:14I was like, well, there goes my ADR touchdown that I was banking on.
16:18But at the same time, Xavier worthy was just not himself last year, like coming out of his breaks.
16:24Like it was just his shoulder got destroyed on like the first contact he had in the entire season running into Travis Kelsey.
16:31Yeah, I mean, just completely annihilated. And by the way, that does happen when you're a buck 40.
16:36Those are the risks that you take. Like I just think that in general, if something happens to Rasheed, uh, uh, Rashi
16:43rice in the next couple of months here, he would be way, way mispriced.
16:47And it's hard to trust the other guys in this offense.
16:50Yeah. Again, we, we just posted a video talking about Kenneth Walker and why you and I are both in it on some level.
16:57There are opposites in their skill sets, even if, you know, both are zero to nine yard pass catchers of the last few years.
17:04But like, you know, this team is really built at wide receiver with linear skill sets in Rashi rice and Xavier worthy and Taequann Thornton.
17:12And that's about it. Uh, you mentioned ADR touchdowns.
17:14There's a stat for you from Reeves, uh, Xavier worthy, just three games of reaching 80 yards, receiving over 34 appearances, uh, in his career so far.
17:22Not great. Hey, we used to call this the third year breakout.
17:26We don't, we don't have the patience for that, but I mean, this is when we used to call it.
17:32I'm going to pick a name who moved in free agency and this off season.
17:36And I think shocked a lot of people based on the contract that he was given, but not this show.
17:42Cause we brought up in our free agency episode.
17:45That's Jalen Naylor now of the Las Vegas Raiders, by the way, Xavier worthy, uh, was going, I believe in the eighth
17:51round over on underdog, but is the seventh pick of the 12th round on Yahoo.
17:56So that totally lines up with our, uh, rubric here, but on Jalen Naylor 13th round on underdog undrafted over on Yahoo.
18:02And I'm going to package this a little bit with what, you know, Clint Kubiak did in Seattle versus now what the
18:09Las Vegas Raiders have with their passing attack. I mean, Jason led the NFL in share of team targets at 36% and
18:16then share of air yards across league of the passing attack at 50%.
18:19As much as I love Brock Bowers, as much as I think Brock Bowers is an awesome selection and fancy football.
18:26And tell me if you disagree, I don't think he's going to hit those two numbers this year in terms of 36%
18:32and 50% of targets and air yards for his team.
18:35And so we are constantly, when we do this searching for an asking who are the top two pass catchers on any given offense?
18:42Cause that's the stable, you know, predictions that we can give on each week.
18:46Jalen Naylor is that for me. And it's unquestioned with the Raiders attached to Brock Bowers.
18:51And I think if you all spent a little bit of time and went back and watched what he did with the
18:58Vikings last year, he was a very consistent piece of that passing attack.
19:02I mean, there's one play against the Atlanta Falcons.
19:04It's a third and six. There's trips to the right on a condensed split, two inside routes.
19:09And then he is kind of the outside breaker on a little bit of a wheel action at the line of scrimmage.
19:16The corner is always working from behind, but again, his cuts create even bigger separation and a bigger gap.
19:21Then he elevates straight up while working to the sideline for a 14 yard gain.
19:26Again, I think there's a lot of overlap here between what he did with KOC and what Clint Kubiak asks.
19:32I talked about the condensed splits. There's stacks, there's breaking routes.
19:35He catches passes off frame. And, you know, while there's some questions and some other productive players that have been, you know,
19:42in previous seasons on this Raiders roster, to me, it's Brock Bowers.
19:45And then a gigantic jump all the way down to round 13 for the next guy on the Raiders.
19:51Kirk Cousins, Fernando Medoza. And that is Jalen Naylor here.
19:54Yeah. I mean, the Dolphins, the Commanders, the Raiders, I mentioned Rashid Jaheed.
19:58I mean, these are teams where the second pass catcher is not drafted until we're nearly in the 150s.
20:03So only Malik Washington's the second pass catcher on the Dolphins.
20:07He's the only one that gets drafted later as a team's second pass catcher.
20:11It's Jalen Naylor. Now, interesting with Naylor, Trey Tucker is the next wide receiver.
20:15So it's Trey Tucker versus Jalen Naylor. That's the toss up.
20:18Do you agree with that? Who's going to be?
20:21I would go with Jalen Naylor. Like the coaching staff like went out of their way to bring back or to sign Jalen Naylor.
20:28There's also like the there's more upside if like something dramatically has changed.
20:32So we talk about young players. So like there's learning.
20:35You're changing teams. You're changing coordinators. That's where I think there's some like an easier path to hit upside.
20:40And I do think with Naylor in particular, like he's been like up against Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison his entire career.
20:47Like that's that's tough competition. And to your point, KOC vertical based offense.
20:51And that's what exactly what Kubiak springs. So there is some sense of familiarity.
20:55So I would be on team Jalen Naylor over Trey Tucker.
20:58I think it's a great selection here. Yeah. I mean, look, the Vikings made a move for Adam Thielen last training camp,
21:05who, you know, should have had plenty of overlap with that Viking staff.
21:09And that organization. And Jalen Naylor just effectively kept him on the bench and got him cut by the end of the season.
21:16And I understand if Naylor is not the biggest name, he had 12 catches during the first two years of his career.
21:22But again, when watching him as an individual talent, there's a lot of stuff to like these breaking routes outside inside and just playing off his frame.
21:30He can work as an inside or outside pass catcher on top of it.
21:34And he can kind of be the movement piece other than Brock Bowers.
21:38And I think the two are going to be used in unison a lot on the same side of the field, too.
21:45And that'll be the primary direction that Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza look into.
21:49So I'm really drafting. I think part of the reason why we incorporated home league ADPs into this is because round 10
21:55and beyond over underdog this year is a bit of a minefield.
21:59Or let's say the vast majority is a wasteland.
22:02Jalen Naylor is one of those names that constantly stands out to me once you get to round 13, round 14.
22:08Yeah, I think deep leagues, full PPR, I think that Naylor could get in the mix.
22:13There's obviously like some semblance of a lack of a ceiling with Jalen Naylor, but like I think odds of like just
22:19straight up beating out this ADP, even if you're not going to win your league, I think are pretty high with them.
22:26Okay, we get two more names. Who's your last one?
22:29Casey Concepcion. He's probably the most fun player that we've talked about just because we're finally getting to a rookie, a rookie
22:35that you and I absolutely loved watching his tape.
22:38I thought that he was a flowers plus. Plus, it's not too surprising that Todd Monken really likes Casey Concepcion.
22:44He's compared Casey Concepcion to Zay Flowers, who he's obviously just was coaching for the last couple of years in camp, not
22:50training camp and the other parts of camp here.
22:53ESPN's reporter on the Browns has said that they're getting Casey Concepcion, the ball on deep targets underneath stuff.
22:59And even as a rusher, not a surprise because he was exactly that in college.
23:03His special teams tape was beyond electric. I thought he played bigger than his frame.
23:08And that's where actually like Concepcion's college tape even more than Zay Flowers college tape.
23:12So there's a huge ceiling to chase here. He's the first wide receiver that goes in ADP on the Browns.
23:18But that doesn't happen until we get till the late parts of the 10th round.
23:22There's a pathway for I would say by Halloween.
23:25That's when we really start getting excited about Casey Concepcion.
23:28I'm assuming Jerry Judy is going to be hard to overtake in week one.
23:32But I think that he could be a full time player.
23:35I do think he'd be a manufactured touch player in ways that Jerry Judy can't do because he's just more physical.
23:42And if he does hit this upside, we're talking about like I thought there was like a little step digs to this.
23:48So it's the damn Browns. It's not going to be pretty out there.
23:52But I think as the season progresses, hopefully we can come on stats versus film in the middle of the week and
23:59show you guys some clips on Casey Concepcion. So he's going in the 10th round over an underdog, but in your home
24:05leagues on Yahoo, 15th round right now. And in fact, Denzel Boston's being selected two spots ahead of Casey Concepcion right now,
24:12which if I can kind of reverse engineer that mindset, like Jerry Judy, the veteran presence to open the year, Denzel Boston, bigger body.
24:19Maybe some believe that his game can translate easier from college.
24:22Obviously, Todd Monken has already talked about how Denzel Boston is going to be a red zone threat for them.
24:28They didn't really have his body type, which I really liked Denzel Boston.
24:32So I can totally see that. But Casey Concepcion is just an awesome talent.
24:36I mean, I can maybe see a slow start with this one.
24:40Maybe some of that's his fault. A lot of it's probably the quarterback situation fault.
24:44And maybe that lends itself to an entire season of a slow start.
24:48But this is someone who we know he has speed.
24:51We know he separates on legit routes. We know he has strength after the catch, too.
24:56And he is the player to me that Todd Monken wants to build this passing attack around for the long term.
25:02And so we're going to have some down weeks.
25:05That's what happens when, you know, we talk about the Raiders and we talk about the Browns, where both are bottom five and projected points this season.
25:13But if there are certain games that we get average quarterback play out of, then that's really going to benefit someone like
25:19Casey Concepcion, who is just, I think, an unbelievable talent at the wide receiver spot.
25:24Unfortunately, the baseline case, like the Braves are too bad.
25:27And even if we like him, it is not going to be enough to get it going in fantasy.
25:32But I just thought that his ceiling as a receiver and as a prospect was so obvious to me that he's perfect
25:39for this episode, that in 25% of the outcomes, he's just so obviously the Browns' best wide receiver.
25:44And most teams at least have one wide receiver, at least in the mix.
25:48Yeah. And just keep in mind, bye weeks, typically that's happened when, you know, wide receivers and rookies have a much better post bye week.
25:56And then, you know, this can also be a player seven or six final weeks of the season, final games of the season.
26:02That's when they really blast off. It will be better, I think, under Todd Monk than it was last year for Browns' wide receivers.
26:10The entire wide receiver room in Cleveland. So six of them average as a total seven receptions for 86 yards per game last year.
26:17That's worse than George Pickens. Yeah. We're like literally hoping that Deshaun Watson is just like better than what they had last year.
26:24And like we've watched Deshaun Watson the last couple of years.
26:27That's not been pretty. Okay. I've got one more and that's, I believe, quite possibly the most underrated wide receiver in the NFL.
26:34Whoa. And his name is Ryan Flournoy of the Dallas Cowboys.
26:37Yes. Hit up your Google machine. He's a 14th round pick on underdog.
26:41Obviously undrafted on Yahoo. He's on the Dallas Cowboys.
26:43Four games last year, CeeDee Lamb was either out or played less than 50% of snaps due to injury.
26:49And two of those, Ryan Flournoy finished as the wide receiver 13 and the wide receiver six overall that week.
26:55Six scraps for 114 yards. The nine of 13 targets for 115 yards and a touchdown.
27:00Look, in a normal game with all three wide receivers healthy, he will play anywhere from 45 to 70% of snaps.
27:06We know the Cowboys love to utilize three wide receiver sets.
27:09So he's not, you know, at the base value, a complete zero with no standalone value here.
27:14But when one of those names misses either CeeDee Lamb or George Pickens, and maybe that's even for a long stretch.
27:21Watch out for Ryan Flournoy because he has earned a role in the top three of this Cowboys wide receiver room.
27:27I mean, he is a nightmare to cover out of a slot with his two way goes.
27:32He's so good with his feel for his own.
27:35He instantly gets up field after the catch. Obviously, the slot is his best friend, but I don't think he's slot only.
27:41I think you can do a decent number on the outside as well.
27:45So this is a team that's projected in the top six in points.
27:49They have really recycled that third wide receiver in your Jalen Tolbert's to whoever else we want to throw out there too.
27:55But Ryan Flournoy is a name that if he ever does hit for agency, I think he's going to get paid a
28:02heck of a lot of money and really surprised me when he got major run in those four games because I saw a legit NFL wide receiver.
28:10I think it's the same way. I think that he's just a really good football player.
28:15He's going to be in three wide receiver sets.
28:17And the second one of those two wide receivers misses time, he's going to be the thumbnail for the waiver wire column.
28:24And, you know, that just that's just how it goes.
28:27He's also interesting because when somebody that goes to central Missouri, Iowa Western and southeast Missouri State could get drafted, there's something going on there.
28:34And then when that player can get drafted in the sixth round and then sneak onto the starting lineup, to me, they're
28:41just like more potential and like that kind of archetype of player where he had to overcome.
28:46I mean, just schools that you don't even know that there's a direction attached to that school name.
28:51They're all of a sudden mattering that that's on my radar here.
28:55He's also six foot 202, 444 in the 40 yard dash.
28:58There's no like physical limitations. He had a 40 inch vertical jump as well.
29:02So he's just like continued to just outkick his previous job.
29:05And I do think that his tape is like hard to ignore.
29:09It's hard for like a team's third wide receiver to matter in fantasy.
29:13It has happened before, like the Tyler Boyd years.
29:16You have to pretty much have like MVP level quarterback play.
29:19Dak Prescott has done that before. And I like the coaching staff.
29:22Everyone in the offensive line returns. Yada, yada, yada.
29:25So of all the teams wide receiver threes, he at least has a chance to get there.
29:30But the big thing here is like the contingent value is very real.
29:34So in basketball, I like them. Deep leagues like him as a stash.
29:38And like the second one of those guys misses time, like Florida is going to get legit.
29:43We talked about this last year with Ryan Heath, that a great predictor of breakout seasons is the previous first downs per route run.
29:50And Ryan Flournoy, if you know, minimize the routes down to about 240 as the baseline here.
29:55He actually had 274. He was top 13 last year in first downs per route run.
30:00And it shows up when you watch, man. I mean, he is a legit talent out there.
30:05And I just hope they're able to showcase that a little bit more.
30:09That's for sure. Okay. One more name I just quickly wanted to bring up.
30:13And we talked about him at length on the last episode.
30:16So go and watch that if you want a much longer conversation.
30:20Quentin Johnson on Yahoo right now is going so damn late.
30:23It's actually egregious. 148 overall. That's the fourth pick of the 13th round.
30:27Hayden, that one caught my eye significantly because, you know, this is a player who finishes the wide receiver 22 in points per game.
30:34Even an underdog now is going as the wide receiver 38.
30:37But you and I believe that as much as we'd love Lad McConkie, that this team is probably going to be able to support two wide receivers.
30:45And QJ's fit with Mike McDaniel, while he has flaws, is going to accentuate his strengths.
30:50And this is someone who should not be anywhere close to being on the board in the 13th round.
30:56Yep. I mean, this is where the Yahoo ADP is.
30:59Then, like, everybody is going to be drafting him that watches our show.
31:03It's, like, that obvious. I will also say, Matthew Golden, Xavier Worthy, like, the Quentin Johnson pass that we talked about where it was not pretty.
31:10And then all of a sudden, the team environment's so good, you make a couple improvements and you catch a couple long passes.
31:17And then all of a sudden, you got, like, a top 30 wide receiver season.
31:22Like, I think that he's a good example of zoom out for a second, especially when the ADPs are this low on
31:28some of these young players with speed, with, like, a firm pathway to routes.
31:32And maybe they just get better all of a sudden because they're young.
31:36Obviously, QJ, his situation early in his career, vaulted him to make even more mistakes and accentuate his flaws with the Worthy's and especially Matthew Golden.
31:44The early career injuries might have done that a little bit, too.
31:47All right. That does it. As you can tell, it's Sleeper's Week.
31:51We're going to have tight ends and quarterbacks in the closeout this week with running back sleepers.
31:56So lock in the channel. Hit subscribe. We've got some great names coming at you over the next few days.
32:02We'll see you in the next one.
