1:34I love this trade. Super Flex League. We've got Bijan Robinson and Cam Ward plus the 104 here in 2026 for Burrow,
1:40Javante, Quinshawn Judkins, and a first, a second in 2026, and a 2027 second.
1:44A lot going on here. We're going to let our guests go first here, though.
1:48What are you thinking about this, Mike? My guys, you're hitting me up with just an absolute banger right off the rip, but let's do it.
1:55You know, and that's what we do. You know, we break down trades all the time over there at Smash Accept.
2:01So, I mean, my first thing is I'm buying Cam Ward everywhere.
2:04So I think the other thing that we preach is insulation.
2:07So I think Cam Ward and the 104 is worth Joe Burrow and the 208.
2:11Now, when I take these trades, you know, I try to look at it like some high school algebra equations.
2:17Let's start taking things off of both sides. So then it becomes Bijon for Javante, Quinshawn Judkins, the 108 and the 27th second.
2:23And my biggest thing is I'm always hashtag always Bijon.
2:26Like in order to replace the production of a Bijon Robinson, like you can put in a Bijon Robinson and a David Montgomery and outscore Judkins and Williams.
2:33You know, like you're going to be at that spot.
2:36The 108 is going to get you Casey Concepcion or Kenyon Sadiq.
2:39So I know there's a lot of pieces on that right hand side, but I'm actually going to take the Bijon Robinson side.
2:46And I don't fault anybody. This is a pretty fair trade.
2:49But the way I look at it and the way I play Dynasty is what I'm going to be able to do
2:55with that 104 is going to give me an ancillary piece.
2:58That's going to give me three players better than anything I'm getting on that right hand side.
3:02So it's funny you mentioned that when I first saw this trade, I instantly wanted to jump on the side where you're getting a million pieces.
3:09And maybe that's the way your lineup's constructed, that that actually does make sense for you.
3:14But I'm with you because of the fact that I just think there's such a big drop off between the 104 and the 108 this year.
3:21And I mean, it goes without saying that, like, I don't even think that the 208 is all that valuable.
3:26Whereas you're getting a really, really helpful piece with the fourth pick in your 2026 rookie drafts.
3:31Yeah, at the 104, I mean, you're going to get Tyson or Lemon, depending on what you're looking at, you know.
3:37And I think both of those guys are future foundational wide receivers.
3:40And I think that 104 is more valuable. It's pretty even to where Judkins is, but I actually value those two wide receivers a little bit more.
3:47So that's kind of how I break down that trade.
3:50And I was with you. Like, at first, I saw all those pieces, you know.
3:54And that's one of those ones where you see all that sexiness on that right hand side.
3:59You're like, oh my gosh, there's so many. And this is where the two, you're right, the 208 this year, I mean, it is not pretty.
4:06You're going to get a backup running back. You're going to get like an Emmitt Johnson or a Mike Washington Jr.
4:12or a wide receiver who's going to be third or fourth on the depth chart.
4:16It's a poor class. And I'm assuming that's probably a late 27 second.
4:19So, yeah, I'm taking the Bichon side. Yeah. My one caveat I'll say, and first of all, I think I might need
4:25like an Adderall or something to fully comprehend this trade.
4:28There's just so much going on. But my one fear with Cam Ward, who I am buying to, and I'm buying into
4:34him being a franchise quarterback, a real life success story going forward.
4:37From a fantasy and a dynasty perspective, I'm a little bit more worried just because you're not getting the rushing upside with
4:43Cam Ward like you are some other quarterbacks. You aren't with Joe Burrow either, but Joe Burrow in recent years has been
4:49the exception to the rule where he can throw for 35 plus touchdowns consistently if he stays healthy.
4:54So, from a super flex perspective, I would not fault anyone at all for taking the package.
4:59If you look at startup drafts and super flex leagues, Joe Burrow is often going in the same range, if not higher than Bichon, depending on the league.
5:07And it goes without saying, if this were not a super flex league, I would certainly take the Bichon side.
5:12That's a fun trade to get this thing started, you know, and I'm with you.
5:16And like what we usually do is in my head, I see a trade and I'm already cascading it.
5:21So, if I make this, I want Bichon. But if I can trade Cam Ward to get Dak Prescott plus and then
5:27I could take that 104 and try to move it there, I just think the big three on that right-hand side are nice.
5:34But the 108, 208, 27 second are not the type of pieces that I think are really going to move the needle
5:40to give up a Bichon Robinson who's been going 102, 103 in startups recently.
5:43I've done five of them and he's gone 101 or 102, which has been nice because I've gotten Josh Allen at a discount on all of them.
5:51But Bichon's been pushing up boards like crazy. 101 in our lineup, Dynasty League, which was crazy.
5:55Shocking to me, but I also can't blame anyone for it.
5:58Let's jump into our second trade, though. We're going to calm down here.
6:02We're going to go with a little bit simpler of one.
6:05We're going to talk Quinshawn Judkins again with Wandale Robinson for Tedaroa McMillan, a.k.a.
6:09T-Mac. This one to me is pretty easy. As much as I love T-Mac, I don't think that there's a Wandale Robinson
6:15size gap between Judkins and McMillan, which is funny because Wandale Robinson doesn't take up a ton of room.
6:20But I think that he makes this trade well worth it for me that I would take the Judkins and Robinson package.
6:26Yeah, I mean, I look at this one and especially context is definitely going to matter.
6:30If it's a 0.25 PPC, it's Judkins and not, you know, side by a good portion.
6:35If it's a 12 team, I think it's pretty fair.
6:37If it's 14 plus, the Judkins size wins wholeheartedly because you're getting that, you know, extra depth on there.
6:43Wandale Robinson is just incredibly underrated. I mean, I love Carnell Tate.
6:46I think Carnell Tate is going to absolutely smash this year.
6:49But, I mean, when you look at wide receivers who had 90-plus receptions and Wandale Robinson's an anomaly.
6:54The rest of them are all up in the early rounds where you get a guy like him who's going to be a security blanket for Cam Ward.
7:02I mean, I like him a lot. I think this is a very fair trade.
7:06I've been up and down on Tate, you know, because I'm not a Bryce Young fan at all.
7:11I feel like he can't support multiple assets and everybody wants Jalen Coker to be a thing.
7:15They want, you know, all these players to be a thing.
7:18I just think they're so run heavy and that he's not going to be able to support multiple guys there.
7:24I like the Judkins side, but I think it's very fair.
7:27Yeah, I am more bullish on TMAC than most, I think, just because I believe in the talent.
7:32But I completely agree with you that I don't love Bryce Young supporting multiple pass catchers in this offense.
7:37Now, the good news is if he supports anyone, I think it's going to be TMAC.
7:41I think he has that kind of talent. A lot of the underlying metrics as a rookie were really good.
7:47The draft capital's there. So, I think he has the potential to be, you know, one of the next greatest receivers in the league.
7:53So, if you're bullish like me, I wouldn't blame you for making a trade like this, especially if it's like a full
7:59point PPR league, maybe only 10 teams or 12 teams.
8:02But in general, all it's equal, I do think I prefer the package because I agree.
8:06I think Wandale stays one of the most underrated values in fantasy football.
8:10And then Quinchot and Judkins, you have a young running back who is very good as a rookie.
8:15Obviously, you don't love that he's on the Browns, but at least they're giving him so much usage on the ground.
8:20So, you're going to get that for years to come.
8:23I love what you mentioned, Mike, about like Wandale Robinson as a safety blanket for a young quarterback.
8:28We just saw it with Jackson Dart last year without Malik Nabors.
8:31We see him have 1,000 yards, 92 catches. Like, to me, I agree.
8:35I think he's one of those guys that's going to continue to be undervalued.
8:39We say he's the short king that everyone doesn't want to draft, but he's going to get you so much value.
8:44Yeah, and Judkins, I mean, the improved offensive line, the new system with Todd Munkin, he was on pace for 1,200 plus
8:50and 10 touchdowns, you know, before the injury last year.
8:53And they went out and they went crazy heavy on that offensive line, improved to three separate positions.
8:58I think he's going to smash. I completely agree.
9:01On to our third trade, though. Melo, you're going to have to start here, but let me give the context.
9:06We got this one on Twitter, pulled the trade off a few weeks ago.
9:10I was on the Monty and the 104 side.
9:12Still have a contending team with JT, Jamar, Flowers, and Nico, with Hurts and Dart as my two QBs in a one quarterback league.
9:19This is two running backs, two wide receivers, two flex.
9:22As our resident Derrick Henry guy, though, Melo, you got to start here.
9:25This one, I feel like I'm being torn in a million different directions here.
9:29I guess really just two directions, but I can't decide which one I like.
9:33Because I am so bullish on Derrick Henry if you're a true contender and you're trying to win right now.
9:38But with that said, David Montgomery is one of my other favorite old man running backs for contending dynasty teams.
9:44He's actually a few years younger than Derrick Henry.
9:46I don't like him as much as Derrick Henry, but I really do.
9:50I don't buy into the hype of Woody Marks splitting carries.
9:53I think this is going to be David Montgomery's backfield.
9:55I think they're going to be running the ball a lot with a deep good defense that they have.
10:01And with that said, I think the gap between the fourth overall pick where you're getting a guy like a Jordan Tyson
10:07or a Makai Lemon versus a 20-27 third is just too big for me that I'm actually taking the David Montgomery side
10:13here, even though I do love Derrick Henry as a piece for contending dynasty teams.
10:17I really just want to put you in a position where you had to say you weren't taking a Derrick Henry side.
10:23It's cruel and unusual. Absolutely cruel and unusual. Mitch, I love that because I do that to Snoog all the time.
10:28I'm like, I'm going to put you in a spot where you have to say it's not Jameer Gibbs because he says it's always Jameer Gibbs.
10:36But this is what we call a smash except, I mean, like I have Derrick Henry worth a late first as much as I love him.
10:43He's been a guy, I've been doing this for 13 years.
10:46I've never seen anything like this. Like three years ago, we were like, okay, he's worth a late first.
10:51Let's sell him. You know, and he's just proven people wrong time after time after time.
10:55But in a trade like this, I mean, and this is what we call insulated trades where you're getting, you know, you're
11:01giving up a player at peak value. You're buying another player and then an ascending pick in there.
11:06That 104, like we just talked about, it's going to be Lemon or Tyson.
11:10And even if you don't in this particular format and you want a running back, the 104 can buy you literally, I
11:16mean, you could get up to Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, Chase Brown.
11:19You're going to get a guy who's going to put up the same as Derrick Henry.
11:24So then it becomes essentially a free David Montgomery.
11:26So yeah, I think this one's a no brainer, but it's fun that you guys did that.
11:31It's trying to set him up. So he had to say not Derrick Henry.
11:35I just wanted to see Mello squirm. Let's kick it to this next one, though.
11:39We're back to the mega nuclear trades here. We've got Brock Bowers, Marvin Harrison Jr., who by the time we're at, what,
11:4510 minutes into the episode, he's put on another eight pounds of muscle.
11:48Pair him with Lad McConkie and then a 2026 second and fourth plus a 2027 first for this package on the right
11:54of Justin Jefferson, Trey McBride, and Bucky Irving. Mike, I'm going to let you kick this one off.
11:59Dude, this is a monster deal right here. This is a monster.
12:02You guys aren't messing around. You're not like, you know, you hit me up with that crazy one in the beginning.
12:08Then you give me the layup here with the Derrick Henry.
12:11Now we're going back to this bad boy. So the way I look at this one is Brock Bowers is, as much
12:17as I love Trey McBride, I mean, we're talking like a three-year gap there.
12:21Brock Bowers is going to be absolutely eat. You know, Trey McBride last year was just a perfect storm with Jacoby Brissett,
12:27you know, not wanting to throw interceptions, always trailing, being that dink and dunk underneath and really exploded last year.
12:32So, I mean, they're obviously your dynasty tight end one and tight end two, but I have a gap of them probably as a mid to early second.
12:40So the way I would equate, and then I have Bucky Irving somewhere in that late first range.
12:45So I'm going to do Brock and the 206, and I'm going to move out McBride and Bucky Irving.
12:50So that makes it Marv, Ladd, and a 27 first for Jefferson.
12:53To me, it's a matter of what that 27 first is.
12:56Like, I know you guys have seen this as well on our trades, is everybody wants their 27 first to be Jeremiah Smith, and that's just not it.
13:04You know, and the class is phenomenal. Like I said, I've been doing this a long time in 2017, 2020, 2023, and
13:10now we're talking about 2027 or some of the best classes I've ever seen.
13:14Absolutely special. So the way I look at this one is early, it's the Ladd side.
13:18Mid, it's fair. Late, it's Jefferson. You know, overall in this trade, I think I'm going to take the Brock Bowers side
13:24there because I am big on Ladd McConkie this year.
13:27I think Ladd McConkie and that McDaniels offense could be a Tyreek Hill light type usage.
13:31You know, someone that's just going to get open nonstop in the slot.
13:35I have 24 dynasty teams, zero shares of Marvin Harrison Jr.
13:38So what I'm already looking to do if I take that Bowers side is trade Marvin Harrison Jr.
13:43though. So it's a very difficult trade to look at because contending wise, you definitely want Jefferson.
13:47You definitely want McBride and Bucky Irving. Bucky Irving is very underrated.
13:51Like everybody's, I've gone from like, he's a sell because of Kenneth Gainwell and Sean Tucker to now he's way too cheap.
13:57So this one's kind of really determined what that 27 first is and what your direction is.
14:01But if you're contending, it's really hard to not take that McBride Jefferson side.
14:05Overall, I want the Bowers side. So I wasn't not taking a side there.
14:09I'm just like, I need to know a little bit more context.
14:12I hope that makes sense. I tried to put in as much context as I got from people.
14:17This one was given to us with none. So I like that you said which circumstantial side you're taking.
14:22It's so funny. You probably heard me sigh when you said the Bucky Irving being too cheap now because I feel like
14:28I made a reputation of being an anti-Bucky Irving guy.
14:31But I do have to admit, like, we keep seeing, I feel like this summer's been insane with the overcorrections based on injury news.
14:38And I don't think a lot of people are talking about the fact that it sounds like Bucky Irving's a full go
14:44for training camp after those weird Todd Bowles comments a few months ago.
14:47That being said, I'm still firmly on the Bowers side.
14:50Mello and I are Lad McConkie's biggest cheerleaders. Even if we don't like Marvin Harrison, I think Brock Bowers has the potential
14:56to be the next great tight end for fantasy football.
14:59And then you tack on these picks. I'm taking that side pretty firmly.
15:02But Mello, where are you at on this? Yeah, I think I feel similarly.
15:06I think, sort of to your earlier point, a lot of this depends on where you are in your team's life cycle too.
15:12Like, if you truly are one of the best one or two teams in your league and you want to go for
15:18it right now with Jefferson and McBride, hold tight.
15:21I think that's totally fine. But context aside, I do think I will reluctantly take the Marvin Harrison Jr.
15:26side, even though I love to make fun of him.
15:29I'm just way too bullish on Brock Bowers and Lad McConkie going forward.
15:32You get the pick in there too. So, I do lean the Bauer side.
15:36Man, Mello, so you're trading Justin Jefferson for Marvin Harrison Jr.
15:39straight up is what I'm doing. A hundred percent.
15:42Every time. This feels like one of those trades guys where it could be neither.
15:46You know, it could be just like, let's kick the tires and explore something else.
15:50Because it feels a little bit too fair to make sense sometimes.
15:53Unless you're all in on that Jefferson side and you happen to be a Bucky guy.
15:57It feels like we might want to draw up something a little bit different.
16:01Yeah, I think that's a great point too. That's something people forget you can just do is start from scratch on a trade.
16:08Let's move on though here. We've got a much simpler one.
16:11We're talking Luther Burden for Tank Dell, a 2027 third and a 2027 first.
16:14This one is tough because I need to know where this 2027 first is projecting.
16:18That really determines where I'm at on this one.
16:21Yeah, I agree. I think on our show, Mitch, we've probably been a little bit more hesitant to draft or to get shares of Luther Burden than most.
16:29Because of how just through the ceiling his cost has been both in Dynasty and Redraft.
16:33But with that said, if that ends up being like a late 2027 first, I want the shot on Luther Burden.
16:39Because even though I'll say his cost is maybe getting a little too high for my liking, I will never deny the type of long-term upside he has.
16:46I mean, he could be a year from now a guy in startups that's going in the first or second round if all falls right here in 2026.
16:54Now, if that 2027 first obviously is the first overall pick, that changes things.
16:58But if it's a late or even mid-2027 first, I want the upside from Luther Burden.
17:02Yeah, I would actually say even a mid-2027 first, I'm probably doing this.
17:06And that's as someone who's been critical of Luther Burden.
17:08Yeah, and this is Fantasy Nerd Boy. I mean, he's a very sharp guy.
17:12I've played in leagues with him before. So it's definitely mid to late, I would assume.
17:17But the way I look at this one is like early, it's the picks.
17:20Mid, it's fair. Late, it's not even close. It's Burden.
17:23So I think you really got to take a look.
17:26And this looks like that's in that Creators League that those guys are in because I know Blitz as well.
17:31Awesome guy. So, I mean, I want the Burden side unless it's early because I do think Luther Burden is going to ascend.
17:38I do think Tank Dell is a good story to make the comeback.
17:41The 27th third doesn't do much. So I want the Burden side.
17:44Yeah, I think that receiver room is just getting a little too crowded for me to feel confident taking a shot on Tank Dell right now.
17:52Same here. All right. We've got a three-teamer. Right when you're getting lulled into a sense of security here.
17:57Let me see if I can read this without losing my mind.
18:00But team one is receiving Jacoby Myers and T.
18:02Higgins, and they're giving up Malik Washington, a 2028 first and a 2026 fourth.
18:06Team two is getting AJ Brown and Jalen Warren, giving up T.
18:10Higgins and two 2027 seconds. And then team three is receiving Malik Washington, 2027 second, a 2028 first, a 2027 second and a 2026 fourth.
18:16And they're giving up AJ Brown, Jacoby Myers, and Jalen Warren.
18:19Thankfully for our viewers, they will have a nice graphic on screen that illustrates this a little bit more clearly.
18:25But let's start breaking this down. I mean, obviously, I'm seeing team three as a team that is entirely blowing it up.
18:31They're trying to get picks. We love AJ Brown.
18:33We love Jacoby Myers. But if you are not contending right now, there is no reason to have those guys on your team.
18:40So I love being able to go out and get two seconds and a first.
18:44And then, Melo, I know the two of us aren't huge on Jalen Warren.
18:47Yeah, I'm more so of a Rico Daddle guy.
18:50And I mean, if you're rebuilding, I don't blame you for moving off of assets like AJ Brown and Jacoby Myers.
18:56And I mean, all of those guys are veterans.
18:58I think the one thing I would say, though, is I think you probably could have gotten more from a contender than
19:04just a first, a couple seconds and a fourth.
19:07I mean, if you're really contending, there's reason to give up more for just AJ Brown.
19:11And Jacoby Myers, I think, is a guy who's underrated.
19:14I mean, he doesn't give you elite ceiling. But his role in that Jacksonville offense is probably the most secure of any of those receivers.
19:21And he's been productive. He outperforms his ADP in redraft every year.
19:24So he's a guy like... So I don't blame team three for moving on from those outsets if they do want to blow it up.
19:31Probably could have gotten a little bit more. And then for the other two teams, I think that's pretty good value for both.
19:37I agree. If I'm on the AJ Brown side there, I'm pretty happy if I'm going for it right now.
19:42Yeah, I'm looking at this and I'm with you, Melo, completely.
19:45It's like, I think a lot of teams are really worried.
19:48They come to me and they're like, yo, we're at this spot right now where I'm rebuilding and I want Jeremiah Smith.
19:54I got to get these players off my team.
19:57And I'm like, it's July still. You know, we're moving into August.
20:00I get it. No one scores points until September.
20:03So chill, you know, but you should easily get a first for Tee Higgins.
20:06You should easily get a first for AJ Brown.
20:09You should get a second for Jalen Warren. And this just isn't enough.
20:12I mean, Malik Washington is a fine toss in, but you're getting basically the way I look at it.
20:18You got a first for AJ Brown. You got two seconds for, you know, it's just not enough.
20:22You're not getting enough assets there. So I do think the contenders got what they wanted.
20:27I think, you know, Tee Higgins is a really good buy right now to get two seconds there.
20:32But AJ Brown on the other side works. I think this works out for everybody, you know, and I think this is
20:38something where if you're trying to get a deal done, if you creatively bring in the third guy, you know, he can,
20:44he can offset things because he's rebuilding. I think that's great for everyone.
20:47I just think team three should have got a little bit more as well.
20:51Man, you threw in some, you threw in some curve balls there, man.
20:55Some of those were like, geez. I was like, yo, I say you the trades.
20:59I'm like, it's like your favorite player or a guy that, and then I'm like, whoa, this is like 17 guys in this one.
21:05I love it though. I like to separate them two to have the like two person trade and then like, bam.
21:11I know you were like, all right, set them up.
21:14You were like straight up doing crossovers. You're like, all right, this one's going to be crazy.
21:18Then we're going to low him to sleep. Then we're coming back hard.
21:22Establish the run and hit you with the play action.
21:25I was like the Zach Alpha Macis meme with every freaking trade.
21:28Yeah, with like the math going through. And he's basically, I mean, the stuff that we get on our trade show, I
21:34mean, we're doing trades for an hour and a half.
21:37And some of them, I'm literally like, I literally do it like an algebra equation sometimes because there's so much on one side.
21:43So I literally got to be like an order of operations.
21:46I got to start taking something on both sides to get it down to something where you can literally break down the analysis.
21:52Because one like this, it's like, dude, there's so much there.
21:55Like we got to figure out a way to make this one work.
21:59100%. Well, thank you to everyone who sent in trades and obviously thank you to Dynasty Dad for hopping in.
