Player insights

32

Breece Hall

PositiveValue18:43

The source is bullish on Breece Hall, viewing him as a top-tier running back and a great structural pick for both redraft and best ball formats.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

PositiveUsage0:21

The source consistently bets on Chris Godwin to exceed his reception and receiving yardage projections, citing him as a personal favorite target.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue25:03

The source has warmed up to DJ Moore for the current season, valuing his immediate production capability in redraft formats.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveUsage35:41

The source considers drafting Dak Prescott a no-brainer, citing his high-octane offense and potential for 500 to 600 pass attempts. Stacking him with George Pickens is viewed as an electric, high-upside move.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeProjection15:20

The source is lower on Drake London than the market, citing concerns that Tua Tagovailoa's skill set does not align with London's high-ADOT profile, potentially capping his ceiling.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection69:27

The source suggests that if the Patriots defense regresses to middle-of-the-pack, it could force the offense into more shootout scenarios, which would benefit Drake Maye's fantasy ceiling by increasing his opportunities to run back scores.

Insight page

Emari Demercado

NegativeDepth Chart64:07

The source views the team's decision to move on from Emari Demercado as a clear signal that they are confident in Emari Johnson as the clear-cut backup running back.

Insight page

Fernando Mendoza

PositiveSleeper73:57

The source is high on Fernando Mendoza as a late-round quarterback target, noting he is a sharp player who could potentially take over the starting job by week eight if the team struggles, making him a viable option in three-quarterback builds.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveValue10:33

The source ranks George Pickens ahead of most available players in the current draft slot, prioritizing him over Brock Bowers due to team-build preferences in a start-three wide receiver format.

Insight page

Isiah Pacheco

NegativeUsage88:57

The source notes that Isaiah Pacheco is currently dealing with an MCL sprain and is on injured reserve. Upon his return, he is expected to serve as the number two running back, potentially filling a 'Montgomery-light' role that could offer occasional touchdown equity in a good offense.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

PositiveValue86:55

The source argues that Jerry Jeudy is undervalued at his current ADP (outside the top 200), noting that despite being in a bad offense, reports indicate he will remain involved, and he is a better player than his current market price suggests.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveValue58:00

The source expresses high conviction in Jonah Coleman, preferring him over other late-round running backs like Kyle Monongai or Jacoby Myers due to his high-upside profile in the Denver backfield.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveProjection54:39

The source is very optimistic about Jordan Mason's potential for high rushing yardage and touchdown equity this season, even holding a long-shot bet on him to lead the league in rushing touchdowns.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeUsage12:08

The source notes that Kenneth Walker's stock is impacted by the Chiefs' offensive line injuries, specifically the absence of Josh Simmons, which makes the source contemplate ranking Chase Brown ahead of him.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

NegativeProjection75:31

The source believes Kirk Cousins will be solid and is better than the market gives him credit for, but notes that the team's defense is terrible, which may limit the team's overall win total and potentially lead to a quarterback change.

Insight page

Kyle Monangai

PositiveSleeper54:05

The source highlights Kyle Monongai as a high-upside pick in the 12th round, noting he is a bruising runner who could see significant volume and touchdown equity if DeAndre Swift misses time, similar to the Jordan Mason archetype.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveProjection15:47

The source suggests that the quarterback situation in Atlanta is a positive for Kyle Pitts, contrasting this with the negative outlook for Drake London.

Insight page
PositiveRole32:42

The source views Kyle Pitts as a 'firewall' tight end, noting that after him and Sam LaPorta, the position drops off significantly. While his production with Michael Penix was underwhelming (9.8 PPR points per game), the source is optimistic about his role under Kevin Stefanski's scheme and potential for growth, especially if Tua Tagovailoa is the quarterback.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

NegativeProjection45:14

The source suggests patience with Makai Lemon, noting he is off to a slow start in Philadelphia and may take a few weeks to adjust. He is considered a better best ball pick, and the source warns that Dontayvion Wicks may have a strong role in the offense.

Insight page
NegativeRole45:21

The source suggests patience is required with Makai Lemon, noting it could take a couple of weeks for his role to materialize; he is viewed as a better best ball pick where his ceiling games can be captured without needing to rely on him as a weekly starter.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveValue21:56

The source views Malik Nabers as a strong value pick in the third round, despite injury concerns, noting that he is a player who locks in mentally when overcoming adversity.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeBust40:38

The source is skeptical of Marshawn Lloyd's current ADP in the sixth and seventh rounds, noting he has never handled a full workload, has a history of injury, and plays behind a poor offensive line. The source ranks Josh Jacobs ahead of him.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveValue23:31

The source views Mike Evans as a perfect structural pick in both best ball and redraft formats. Despite recent injury concerns, the source suggests the 49ers staff is being cautious and the injuries are not major. Evans is expected to be the primary weapon in the 49ers offense connected to Brock Purdy, offering pure touchdown upside.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveRole60:05

The source sees value in Mike Washington Jr. as a handcuff, noting that he has instilled confidence in the coaching staff and could potentially eat into Zamir White's workload if the Raiders' offense exceeds expectations.

Insight page

Oronde Gadsden

PositiveSleeper77:43

The source identifies Rondé Gadsden as an upside tight end play, noting he is tied to Justin Herbert and could reap massive rewards if Herbert has an MVP-caliber season, especially given Gadsden's current depressed ADP.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveValue0:04

The source prefers Puka Nacua in both Best Ball and redraft formats, ranking him ahead of Jonathan Taylor and placing him in the top tier of draft targets.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

NegativeValue37:24

The source expresses skepticism regarding Quentin Johnston's ADP, labeling his selection at pick 57 as 'nutty' and suggesting he could have been drafted much later.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

PositiveProjection32:58

The source is bullish on Rico Dowdle, projecting him for 1,400 to 1,500 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, suggesting he can really go off this year.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

PositiveProjection0:26

The source highlights Sam Darnold as a high-confidence play for Week 1, noting he only needs one yard against New England to cash a PrizePicks entry.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:31

The source selected Sam Darnold as a quarterback option to maintain roster fluidity and secure a stack, avoiding the need to overthink the position.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveValue82:53

The source views Travis Etienne as a smart trade target, noting he is the main guy for the New Orleans Saints in a high-octane offense, and acquiring him could simplify a roster by consolidating depth pieces.

Insight page

Zamir White

NegativeBust60:48

The source expresses concern regarding Zamir White's status as a bell-cow back, citing his injury history and the potential for Mike Washington Jr. to eat into his volume, leading the source to avoid drafting him at his current late-second-round ADP.

1:10PrizePix. Run your game. We are proudly supported by Nathan & Sons, makers of Underbrush Remineralizing Gum.
1:16The Nathan & Sons folks sent me some of this gum.
1:20And when you taste it, it's like, oh, this is what real flavor tastes like.
1:25It just didn't feel fake. It had a texture and a taste of what real gum should be.
1:31Because I've tried other natural gums, and the flavor does not pop like it does with Nathan & Sons, and the flavor doesn't last.
1:39My favorite flavor is cinemastic. I also feel like my jaw's in better shape, not doing as much clenching with my teeth.
1:47And what's funny is it's made with hydroxyapatite, the same mineral your tooth enamel is made from.
1:52And the best part, it's a chewing gum that helps take care of your teeth in between brushing.
1:59And critically, there is no plastic in this gum.
2:02It's made from natural tree sap. And if you want a simple daily upgrade for your teeth, head over to NathanAndSons.com and check out Underbrush.

2:14Going on to play your profile. We're here with another NFFC, Best Ball Championship Draft.
2:19It's just me for writing. At some point, please let us know if the audio is better this time.
2:26Sorry about last time. We've been working on the back end.
2:30The draft has started, though. We will be drafting from the five spot.
2:34But Jameer Gibbs goes off at the 101. Bijan Robinson, 102.
2:38Ja'Marr Chase, 103. Jackson Smith in Jigba at the 104.
2:41Puka Nakua at the 106. Then CMC, Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, Ashton Janty in the first round.
2:47Which, kind of dicey in terms of it. Spin up and down where he's been going.
2:52Chase Brown and then CeeDee Lamb to wrap up the first round.
2:57We went with Puka Nakua in the five hole.
3:00Again, this is the NFFC. You start three wide receivers in this format.
3:04It is a third round reversal. It is a Kentucky Derby draft style.
3:08So, essentially, you bid or you put in preferences for your draft slot.
3:13And, you know, it kind of, you know, let's just say pick it out of the hat if you're the 101.
3:20Meaning you get the first pick on your preference, right?
3:23So, really, really cool format. A little bit of a mad dash to start this one for me.
3:30So, I do apologize. It's been a crazy weekend.
3:33And, you know, just kind of got in here at the buzzer.
3:37But, if you have not drafted the NFFC, you can use First Time 100 to get $100 off of your entry at registration.
3:45Probably not going to be a ton of these left, right?
3:48I mean, it is Monday. We have, you know, some drafts are still going to go after the games on Wednesday and Thursday.
3:56So, you have somewhat of a free look. But, either way, this is pretty much it.
4:02We're wrapping things up. This is going to be my last draft of the year.
4:07So, thank you for that. Got a little Puka Nakua exposure.
4:10I don't have Puka Nakua in any of the NFFC formats.
4:14Whether it's the OC or it is the Best Ball Championship, which is the two that we've been drafting this offseason.
4:21So, yeah. If you guys have any questions, you know, feel free to send them in.
4:27If you guys have any drafts remaining this week, you know, good luck.
4:31Let me know what you got. And, I'd be happy to answer whatever you have.
4:36Like I said, a little bit of a mad dash.
4:40So, appreciate everybody that's here so far. Joe Carlton in the house.
4:44What's up, Joe? JD said, who should I draft with the 105 and redraft?
4:49I mean, you're looking at it right now. I'm in the 105 right now.
4:53Now, this is Best Ball. This is also a start three format.
4:57I did take Puka Nakua. I still prefer Puka Nakua, even if this wasn't a start three, if this was a redraft format.
5:05I do prefer Puka. Then I have CMC. You know, for me, it's really Jameer, Nijon, Chase, Puka, JSN, McCaffrey, Amon Ross St.
5:13Brown, James Cook, ahead of Jonathan Taylor. So, that's my preferences.
5:17That's how I like to draft this year. Finished up my home league draft that's been going on for 15 years.
5:24Did that one yesterday. Did not actually, probably my worst draft of the year.
5:29I do have to run an auction in that.
5:32And it is super, super chaotic. So, yeah. It's hard to run the auction in person as well as run your own draft.
5:40It's a bit of a cluster. But excited for the football season to start.
5:45We got the Patriots versus Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday.
5:48We have the international game with San Francisco on Thursday.
5:51And, yeah. Happy to answer any questions. I know people are trying to get their drafts in at the buzzer here.
5:58So, questions that you might have, let me know.
6:01We are on the clock, though. In this round so far, A.J.
6:05Brown, Justin Jefferson, Saquon Barkley, Devon Acheen, Amar Enhanced, Derek Henry, and Kenneth Walker.
6:10Kenneth Walker slipped here a little bit. I do want to talk about that.
6:15But let me go ahead and make my next pick.
6:18First, you got guys like Drake London, Brock Bowers, George Pickens, Chris Olave.
6:23It is a third-round reversal. Running backs kind of just got pushed.
6:27I'm not going to go ahead and force it here.
6:30I'm going to stick to, you know, my board.
6:33I do have Pickens and Bowers ahead of pretty much everybody here.
6:37It's a start-through wide receiver, so I will pass on Bowers here.
6:41I'm going to go with Pickens. I don't typically like a lot of the teams that I take or have taken Brock Bowers in.
6:50I typically do not like how those builds have turned out.
6:53So I'm just going to opt to not go that route, especially in a start three.
6:59So, yeah. Jeremiah texted me. He said he's going to see if he can make it.
7:04So we shall see. Let's see. Perfect. But, yeah.
7:07Let me know for you guys also how the mic is doing.
7:11I know we had some issues last week with the microphone.
7:15Stream yard's been very, very finicky. So please, please let me know.
7:19Give me some feedback if you guys can hear me okay.
7:23But after George Pickens, Rashi Rice goes off the board, then Brock Bowers, then Nico Collins.
7:28So let's talk a little about Kenneth Walker right now.
7:32I think there's a possibility that Walker could be, you know, kind of fell to this point here because Josh Simmons for
7:39the Chiefs is dealing with a back injury. It looks like he's – it sounds like he's not going to play week one against the Broncos.
7:48And it's only one week, so I understand people are like, what's the big deal?
7:53But I think it's somewhat of a glimpse into how scary things can kind of potentially crumble with this Chiefs offensive line.
8:01They don't have a lot of depth. But they'd be putting a UDFA there in Josh Simmons' place who never played left tackle, I believe, in college ever.
8:10And he's going up against, obviously, the Broncos defense.
8:13So I think that could possibly have people a little bit spooked.
8:18I understand it. I think for me, with this Simmons injury, it does make me kind of contemplate putting – I think
8:25for me, it probably puts Chase Brown ahead of Walker.
8:28Walker is not going to drop far down in my rankings, but I have him and Chase Brown neck and neck.
8:36And so it's a tiebreaker for me if this offensive line is going to have issues.
8:41You know, it sounds like they said pretty much, hey, like the Chiefs obviously feel optimistic enough that they didn't put Josh
8:49Simmons on IR because he would be forced to miss four weeks.
8:53So that's a positive, but still not what you really want to see.
8:57Mahomes coming off this injury. They're going to have to lean on Walker, though, even more.
9:03So volume should be there. It's just a matter of like, you know, Mahomes coming off the ACL.
9:09How is he moving with his offensive line? It's just a little dicey all around.
9:14But I'm still high on Walker. I'm still high on Travis Kelsey, who I've drafted a good bit of.
9:20Drake London falls here. Let's talk a little bit about Drake London.
9:24Drake London falls here to the 302. And Drake London and then Malik Neighbors goes after him.
9:30London is somebody that I have not had high in my rankings all offseason.
9:35I have him somewhere around mid-20s, a little bit of late-20s area.
9:39Reason being is with Tua Tagovailoa, I don't really find him to be a positive for this offense for Drake London's skill set.
9:47I think it's a positive for Kyle Pitts. I don't think it's a positive for Drake London.
9:53ADOT-wise, depth of target London, I mean, his yards per reception and his ADOT have been extremely high over his career.
10:00And I don't see that happening with, you know, Tua.
10:03I don't think Tua's going to push the ball down the field.
10:07On top of that, you factor in that you also have Chico Otungo-Vailoa back there who looked absolutely terrible.
10:14And it took the Falcons, like, today to name him the starter for week one.
10:19I mean, it was almost like they were trying as hard as possible to not have to go with Tua.
10:26And he didn't look good for all intents and purposes.
10:29So, yeah. I mean, I don't think it's a bad thing for Bijan.
10:34I think people say, well, you could buy the dip.
10:37And I know not the Kings that he's been following all day today.
10:41I don't know if he's referring to Walker or Drake London.
10:45Chris Olave fell decently far here, too. He goes at the 31st overall pick.
10:50And then we're up here. And Jeremiah, I love Josh Allen, Trey McBride, Malik Neighbors.
10:55We'll talk about Neighbors in a second here. We have started off as three wide receivers.
11:00Javante Williams is off the board. We do have Brees Hall.
11:04We have Kyra Williams, Travis Etienne. Looking at the board, you know, the guys in front of us, one of them has double running backs.
11:13Some of them don't have wide running backs at all.
11:16Two guys don't have running backs. So I think there's a possibility that we may need to get a guy here.
11:23So I'm going to go ahead and take Brees Hall here.
11:27You know, I'm bullish a little bit on Frank Reich.
11:30I'm not bullish that the offense is going to be phenomenal, but I do happen to like Frank Reich.
11:37And I think Gino can put this offense afloat.
11:40So, yeah. And then we obviously come back on the turn.
11:44And Jeremiah has entered the building. What's up, man?
11:47Yeah, what a little run we've had here, Pete.
11:50Last week we had our little glitches, but the internet went out just before I got on.
11:56So thank you for carrying the ship. I love what you've done already, Pete.
12:00Puka Nakua, George Pickens. We're hearing Clearance Clarence from Adam Schefter.
12:04It sounds like he's not going to be, you know, suspended.
12:08So now we have George Pickens and then Brees Hall.
12:11So you'd love to see it. Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely.
12:14And the Nakua thing is still, I don't know if we're fully out of the woods, but it sounds like he's good for week one.
12:23You got to operate as if he's going to, like, that he's fine at this point, in my opinion, Jay.
12:30Malik neighbors. Malik is kind of now settling in at this 3-2 turn.
12:34He goes here at the 3-0-3. And not the King also, by the way, said London's been falling all day.
12:41I know we talked about that. And, yeah, I'm not surprised at the 2-0 news.
12:46I want to touch on that in a second, Jay, and get your thoughts, because I want to know what you think about it.
12:54But Malik neighbors has fallen here a little bit.
12:57This is kind of where he's settled, though, in this past week, because, you know, there's talk now.
13:03Stefania Bell came out talking about, is Malik neighbors going to play week one?
13:08There's still some kind of up-in-the-air question marks on that.
13:12And we don't really know, right? I think that's kind of spooked some people.
13:16I'm still happy to take the discount on Malik neighbors when he falls.
13:21You know, so getting him here at 3-0-2, I think, is totally good value.
13:26I mean, there's been times, look, we've been taking him, you know, sometimes in the mid-second in these drafts.
13:32And we have gotten him at, like, the 3-2 turn as well.
13:36So, yeah. A little bit of recap here, and then I'm going to get your thoughts on Drake London with the Tua news.
13:44After we took police tall, Kyron Williams went right after.
13:47Then it was Jalen Waddell. Then it was Travis Etienne.
13:51Lad McConkie, T. Higgins coming around here at the turn.
13:54We got four picks or three picks, and then we're up.
13:58But what is your thoughts on Drake London with the Tua Tagovailoa news?
14:02You know, people say it was kind of baked in at this point.
14:07I don't really feel like it was baked in at his 80s.
14:11That was kind of going to the second round in many such cases.
14:15But what are your thoughts on that Tua Tunga by Lowe news with him now being the starter?
14:21I think initially it's going to be bad news for Tua.
14:25And speaking of kickers and defense, Pete, I'm going to be targeting the Falcons so long as Tua Tagovailoa is the starting quarterback.
14:33I think it's a sharp play. And it's one of those things where, hey, we love London, Bijan, and Pitts.
14:40We don't love Tua Tagovailoa. And I think it's going to be bad.
14:44Well, it looks like they cut out. Oh, you cut out for a second there.
14:49You cut out for a second there. Let's just put a pin in it for a second.
14:55We got our running back in Hall. We got 15 seconds here.
14:59We got Ibuka, Garrett Wilson, Luther Burden, Terry, DJ Moore.
15:03I kind of want to get a little bit DJ Moore here.
15:07I have him decently high. Running back-wise, it's David Montgomery.
15:10It's nothing to call home for. So I'm going to go ahead and go with DJ Moore here, Jay.
15:17But finish your thoughts on Drake London here because you did cut out.
15:21But it sounded like you were saying that the Falcons offense was going to be one that you would be targeting when it comes to DST.
15:30Yeah, I'm absolutely going to target them. And, Drake London, you're just going to need to wait a few weeks.
15:37It's only a matter of time before Michael Penix gets healthy.
15:41And then once he's healthy, I think London will be fine.
15:44In the managed league where you're getting him here in round three, I think that's a great value.
15:50We see him falling. I agree with you, Pete.
15:53Pete, that is falling to me because the clump of running backs in round two with Drake London, that's kind of where he's lived.
16:02So to go round three, I think that's just taking advantage of the fear.
16:06So at what point are you fearful, Pete? Or do you think that's just like a great third-round steal?
16:13And that was – I'm sorry. I was responding to the chat.
16:17You referring to Malik Nabors there? Oh, for Drake London.
16:20Actually, both. Tell me both then. London in the third round is palatable for me.
16:26I mean, I've had him kind of – this news with Tua doesn't change anything for me.
16:31I haven't been nearly as high on London. I've had him somewhere in like my mid to a little bit late 20s rankings this year.
16:40I don't think it changes too much for me.
16:43But like if Tua is the quarterback all year, then that's like worst-case scenario.
16:48And like then I'd still be not that excited about having a mid to late 20s.
16:53But if Penix is able to get out there – the thing about Penix is he's willing to push the ball downfield and take chances, right?
17:02And for fantasy, we like that just because – especially with these big-body receivers down the field, they can make plays.
17:09He's like they're going to be given the opportunity to make plays.
17:13So I think it's not for long with Tua unless they win and string together some good games.
17:19That's when it could get a little bit frustrating because they might give him a little bit more leash than we had hoped for.
17:28Yeah, and it's funny. Somebody mentioned to you, Pete, about Zachariah Branch being in play on X today.
17:34And I fully agree with you where I think that almost a running joke, it's Tua in those quick dump-off passes.
17:41So that plays into the Zachariah Branch game. I don't even know if Zachariah Branch is going to make the top of
17:48the depth chart and be out there in two and three wide receiver sets.
17:53And it's unfortunate for Drake London. Do I think he's going to be a zero?
17:58No. But I think we're going to get a little bit closer to a floor or a median outcome early on for
18:06Drake London, which will be very aggravating and frustrating.
18:09And then on the Malik Neighbors front, it sounds like he's going to be fine, but it's just a matter of are you 85%?
18:17Are you 80%? Is there a game ship going on?
18:20What do you make of Malik Neighbors, Pete? Yeah, I mean, I think if Neighbors, if he's on the field, I'm happy.
18:28I'm good. I don't have hesitation starting him. Like, no concerns there.
18:32It's more of a matter of, like, he's striking me as a player that based on what we've heard from him, that
18:39he doesn't want to be out there unless they're going to give him, you know, a full workload on the field.
18:47It doesn't mean, like, hey, they're going to pepper him with 90 targets, but, like, he's going to play the full game.
18:54Not like, you know, 50% of the routes run, he'll be on the field.
18:59And I think that's good for us as fantasy managers.
19:02We don't have to sit there and, I think, worry about, I'm starting this guy.
19:07Is he going to play? Like, no. If the report comes out that Malik Neighbors is playing, he'll be active.
19:14He'll be suited up. You're starting him and you're living with it because I think, like, they're not going to put him
19:22out there, in my opinion, unless he can go full go.
19:25And full go is a tough thing to say, Jay, because we know that these guys coming off ACLs, it typically does
19:33take a full year before they get fully back.
19:36It doesn't mean they can't be successful. It doesn't mean they can't be good for fantasy, but fully feeling themselves, like, that
19:44confidence, like, you know, to move certain ways, like, that's a factor.
19:48So we'll see. I do want to know. We're getting a couple things in the queue here.
19:53Not the King said Giants should sit him until he can cut better.
19:58I get that. I'm not opposed to that either.
20:01Yeah, I think not the King might be facing him in a couple leagues week one, but I totally get your drift.
20:08And don't discount. I don't know how you feel about this, Pete, but Malik neighbors, there's always some kind of drama with him.
20:16So he really does live in the drama. I can remember when he had his concussion or he had some injury.
20:23It might have been a concussion his rookie season.
20:26He got in trouble for going to a concert midweek and they were saying, hey, you know, you should be avoiding that.
20:34I always think there's kind of some stuff going on with him.
20:38Just he's a wide receiver. So what do wide receivers do?
20:42And to this effect, I think we're going to get a full go on him.
20:47I think he's one of those people who really locks in if he's kind of got something that he can gear towards.
20:54Like, hey, I'm overcoming this injury and he can lock in mentally.
20:58So I really like it. And again, 85% of him, I feel like we'll get closer to 100% usage.
21:05But the ability to cut, the ability to do everything he did pre-injury, it might take a little bit of ramping up.
21:12But you may not notice it when he still can clear 20 points in your lineup.
21:18And I see you just went. Pete, let's talk about the team so far.
21:23Puka, George Pickens. Quinchon Junkins just went. Wait for that box to go away.
21:27Brees Hall, I love your pick, Brees Hall. I've been selecting Brees Hall everywhere in the redraft streets.
21:34Plenty in best ball, too. But Brees Hall is just such a great structural pick.
21:39And to me, I count him as one of those top tier running backs.
21:43And then you go DJ Moore, which I think you and I have both warmed up to.
21:49Because there's just capability for this year proper, not Dynasty.
21:53And then Jadarian Price. Great price, Pete. So tell me how you're feeling with these last two picks.
21:59Yeah, I actually really like this team. I don't have much exposure to Price.
22:04I want exposure to Price. I just haven't gotten him at the price that I want.
22:09Or he's just gone ahead. So I took him over to Quinchon Judkins there.
22:14I took him over. Let's see. Who else could I have went with?
22:18Trevon Henderson. I took him over to Jalen Warren, Jonathan Brooks, Tony Pollard.
22:23I think the Jonathan Brooks helium has started to subside a little bit.
22:27Which is nice. Because there was times where, I think in the FFPC, he went like fourth round.
22:33As high as fourth round in one of them when Hubbard got hurt.
22:38And now it sounds like Hubbard's going to play.
22:41Two Bucky Irving go off the board after Quinshon Judkins.
22:44Quinton Johnston. What a pick there in the fifth round.
22:48I wouldn't do it. He just took Quinton Johnston at pick 57.
22:52Pretty, pretty nutty in my opinion. This is a JSN, Rochie, Rice team.
22:56Got Quinton Johnston now. They have Cam Scadaboo and Kyron Williams.
23:00So that's interesting. I mean, they did take Rice in the, like, the 2-0.
23:05I think that's a 2-0-8 spot day. 2-0-9. So that's a little interesting too.
23:09I'm not opposed to that. It just seems like maybe this is a person that's just getting their guys.
23:16But I definitely think you could have waited on Quinton Johnston here.
23:20Let me read the round off for a second here just to get the audio side.
23:25We'll take this next pick and then we'll take a quick break.
23:29Let me just read off what we've had happen so far.
23:33So in the fourth round, T. Higgins, Federal McMillan, Zay Flowers, Cam Scadaboo go off the board.
23:39After that, it was DJ Moore who we took.
23:42Then Emek Agbuka, Colson Loveland, Roma Dunes, Zay Garrett Wilson, Luther Burden, DeAndre Swift, Bayshall Tootin.
23:48Then to start the fifth round, we had Ramondre Stevenson, Jamison Williams, Parker Washington, Devontae Adams, Terry McLaurin, Christian Watson, David Montgomery, Jardarian Price is who we took.
23:57Then Quinton Johnson, then Quinshawn Juggins, Bucky Irving, Tyler Warren, Mike Evans.
24:01So Mike Evans starts the sixth round here. We're up in three spots.
24:06And then we'll go ahead and take our next pick and then we'll take a break.
24:11Mike Evans, Jay, talked a little bit about at the presser down over in Australia.
24:16And it pretty much – it's getting to be the vibe that Mike Evans was – these injuries that everyone is getting up in arms about.
24:25It's possible that the 49ers staff has just taken very strong precaution with him.
24:30And that he said none of these injuries are major.
24:33And so with his history of some of these injuries as of late, Jay, it's possible that the 49ers were really, really
24:41just trying to be cautious with him. And it makes me a little bummed out because I didn't get much Mike Evans.
24:48I was super high on Mike Evans. I think I had him at like wide receiver 20 until these injuries started to pile up.
24:56And then I ticked him back a little bit towards that like Cortland Sutton-ish range, you know, Carnell Tate range.
25:03What are your thoughts on Mike Evans? By the way, Jonathan Brooks, Joe Burrow go off the board right before our next pick.
25:11I think Mike Evans is just a perfect structural pick.
25:14You're de-risking yourself in a best ball format, in a redraft format right now.
25:19You're not on the hook in Dynasty. If you're in a Dynasty win-now mode, it's absolutely a great pick.
25:26And you're going to get pure touchdown run out, be the primary weapon in a 49ers offense connected to Brock Purdy.
25:33It's almost like we get lulled to sleep to the point of, OK, go take somebody like a Mike Evans.
25:40First year, I don't think it'll be a problem.
25:43And I think they're confident enough he's good enough to where you don't have to, hey, we got to get these practice
25:50reps in for Mike Evans to adjust to a brand new team.
25:54Let's pick for round six. I think it's just great value and you go and get great value in Travion Henderson.
26:01Let's tease that for after the break, Pete. Let's hit the break and then we'll talk about some Travion Henderson.
26:08The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform. Why?
26:11Third round reversal, Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation. So it's a lottery-based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft.
26:20It's full PPR. There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
26:26And now they've combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
26:31In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
26:36And if you win that, $300,000. You can also join the Circo World Championship.
26:41And that's $200,000. You win both, you win a million dollars.
26:45So go to playnffc.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes you can use.

27:04Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.

28:20Why wait? Well, we are back. And mic check, mic check.
28:24Sounds like we are good on the mics this week.
28:27So that's a blessing for us because it was an absolute nightmare last week.
28:32So appreciate everybody that came back and stuck with us because that was tough.
28:37I listened to the playback and I was so, so frustrated with how it went.
28:42We did get it fixed, obviously, in the back half after about 20, 30 minutes.
28:47But it took a lot of shuffling while drafting.
28:50And, of course, we're drafting in an O-seat 350 NFFC draft.
28:54It's absolutely, absolutely a nightmare. But Jamie said the mics sound good.
28:58I haven't heard anybody complain yet. So keep us updated.
29:01If for some reason the mics are still messing up, let us know.
29:06So it's really a streamer thing. It's not us.
29:09There's just been a lot of issues with streamer lately.
29:12So hopefully that gets fixed. And, yeah, while we were out, we took Trevor and Henderson.
29:18Johns Brooks went ahead of us, Jay. Tucker Craft, Caleb Williams.
29:21Caleb Williams' owner gets the stack with Colson Loveland.
29:25Then Brian Thomas goes off the board after Caleb Williams.
29:28Lamar Jackson. Then Michael Wilson, Carnot, Tate, Drake May.
29:31Now people might sit there and be like, Caleb Williams went ahead.
29:35Was the third quarterback off the board. Super surprising.
29:38But this is best ball, Jay. That owner does stack Colson Loveland with Caleb Williams.
29:43So I understand the thinking there. A little bit of an interesting build for those who are listening on the audio side.
29:51This owner has Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, Jeremiah Love.
29:54Three running backs to start. Then Colson Loveland. I mean, really, really putting yourself behind the eight ball in a format that's start through wide receivers, Jay.
30:03And in a format that pushes receivers up super, super heavy.
30:07Christian Watson then was his first receiver around five.
30:10Then he gets Caleb Williams to stack with Colson Loveland.
30:13Interesting build. Not what I would do. I felt like you got a little bit greedy there by going, Derrick My Love.
30:21I think you could have went wide receiver. And then to not take a wide receiver in the fourth and go with Loveland is very, very dicey.
30:30So I'm going to be interested to see how that owner's team shakes out.
30:35But what are your thoughts on that build, Jay?
30:38And so far, what are your thoughts as well on the Trevor and Henderson pick that we took last round?
30:45Hey, immediately to your point, Pete. Chris Olave is the very next pick.
30:49Three picks later is Jalen Waddell and even Lab McConkie.
30:52Any of those three wide receivers instead of Jeremiah Love.
30:56Pigs get fed. Hogs get slaughtered, right? So with McCaffrey, Henry, you go love.
31:01You're almost betting against yourself by taking love for those two running back spots that you invested in.
31:07So we have to have this belief in ourselves.
31:10I love the Travion Henderson pick, though. Going back to that.
31:14Oh, and one note. The Loveland Williams. I like a QB tight end onesie position stack.
31:19Those are always fun. But misappropriation with one too many running backs.
31:23But going back to Travion Henderson, I'm curious. Do you think he plays week one?
31:28Do you have any concern about a multi-week injury for Travion Henderson?
31:32And do you still click the button here in round six with that in mind?
31:37Yeah, I'm buying the dip. I mean, I'm very happy to get him in the sixth round here.
31:44It's not a massive dip. I mean, he has been picked in the sixth round before.
31:49This isn't like the first time, you know, in this format.
31:53But getting him here as my third running back, I get...
31:57I mean, I couldn't be happier with how my running back room starts off for a team that I start two receivers to go off the bat.
32:06And then you get the dip with him. And, you know, I'm happy with that.
32:11Looking at the way the board is shaping up right now, though, I mean, we could maybe stack with Stafford and Dak Prescott at some point.
32:20So those are some back doors that we could also go with.
32:24Kyle Pitts is also available. I don't really love the running backs and wide receivers on the board here.
32:30You've got like Wando Robinson, Michael Pittman, DK Metcalf.
32:33I would go Wando Robinson or maybe try for Casey Conception.
32:37I'm thinking maybe we go Kyle Pitts here if that's something that you're interested in.
32:42All right. Let's go with Pitts then. Yeah, do that.
32:46And then if, you know, Casey Conception comes back, he comes back.
32:50If not, we can pivot and route a different direction.
32:53I have not seen, I'm looking at the board, Rico Dowdle go either.
32:58So it's possible he could come through. I drafted him for a friend in another draft.
33:03And I thought of you because I know you've been really high on some Rico Dowdle.
33:08And I see the path as well for Rico Dowdle.
33:12I think a bullish take that I would have if I had a hot take on him, 14 to 1,500 rushing yards, 15 touchdowns.
33:20I think he can really go off this year.
33:23And we see R.J. Harvey go, Pete. I know you love some R.J.
33:28Harvey. Are you still a big fan of him as we hit week one?
33:32Like, are you putting him, R.J. Harvey, in your lineup, speaking of managed leagues?
33:37Yeah, I mean, it's going to depend. Harvey's more of a flex play probably for week one.
33:43And he's probably more of a high-end RB3. We are – so I do want to know.
33:49We're getting a lot of questions in here of start sits right now.
33:53So Jeremiah and myself are going to be live on Thursday and Thursday every single week this year to do our rankings show.
34:01So it's going to be the player profile rankings.
34:04We're going to talk about those on top of our rankings as well on how we see the player profile rankings, who
34:11we might be a little high on, and maybe who we defer on when it comes to their rankings.
34:18Well, our rankings there plus mine and Jay's rankings, and maybe we defer on some guys.
34:23So we will answer some of these start sit questions.
34:27We will just put a pin in it, though, until we get to Thursday.
34:32And, I mean, I'm happy to answer any of the questions if it's a Thursday – if it's about the Thursday game or the Wednesday game.
34:40We can totally answer start sit questions for those.
34:43But everything else, we still got to digest. This is our last draft, right?
34:48We're kind of putting the pre-projections together. So make sure you stop in for that show.
34:54As for the Rico Dowell thing, I did draft a good amount of Rico Dowell.
34:59By the way, Matt Stafford goes off the board, unstacked.
35:02Unstacked, crazy. Who – do they want Terrence Ferguson?
35:05I guess that's the only one out there. Yeah, I don't really understand it.
35:10I guess maybe they're looking at it. I mean, they don't really have a great stack with a quarterback.
35:17I mean, they could go Niko, CJ Shroud. They have Ted O'McMillan.
35:21They could go with Bryce Young. Or they have more with Bursette.
35:25So maybe the goal is just, hey, I'm just taking a good quarterback here.
35:30And maybe they try to get some cheap plays like a Terrence Ferguson kind of route.
35:35Hate to see just random unstacked plays. But this kind of pushes our chips in the table here.
35:41We probably have to go with Dak Prescott, in my opinion, Jay.
35:45I just because when we're talking about being stacked and unstacked, we don't want to force anything.
35:51But with the quarterbacks that are left on the board and with the fact that we have George Pickens, I do like this Cowboys offense.
35:59It just feels like it probably is a no-brainer for us to go and take Dak Prescott.
36:05So I think that's probably the move here. I think that's a great pick and just an opportunity where anywhere from 500
36:13to 600 pass attempts on an offense where it's high octane and you're tied to, funny enough, Rico Dowdle goes right away next.
36:21That's how sharp this ADP is. And I love its topical.
36:24We were on the pulse. We were in the right spot, right area.
36:29That just confirms we're doing the right thing. Dak Prescott stacked with George Pickens, Electric.
36:34We get a contract year in George Pickens and you have an elevator possibility there.
36:39And I love what you did there. And Kyle Pitts, just going back to Kyle Pitts, selecting him off this news initially,
36:47you're sitting there probably trying to root for Tua the first couple weeks for Kyle Pitts.
36:52I like that opportunity. Drake London, Panics, Bijon for dump-offs.
36:55Bijon is QB proof. But for some dump-off game for Tua, like let's praise Tua for what he can do, Pete.
37:03He can dump that ball off just quickly, get it all out.
37:07And who does that benefit? It absolutely benefits the non-perimeter routes and it affords opportunity for middle of the field open Kyle Pitts.
37:14And he can just wreak havoc and short area targets for Bijon Robinson, who is the undoubted or no doubt about it RB2.
37:22And for some people, the RB1. So I really do like initially that Kyle Pitts play.
37:28So set up a whole team and take advantage.
37:31He's kind of like a firewall tight end where once you go past him and maybe a Sam Laporta, I start sitting
37:38there thinking like, I want to get Juwan Johnson or Terrence Ferguson for high upside play.
37:44Because tight end, it really just drops in the middle.
37:47I'm not interested in, let's say, a Dalton Schultz as my tight end one.
37:52I want somebody with a little more upside. Yeah.
37:55And I do want to know, right, like with Michael Penix, it's a bit of a seesaw here, right?
38:01With Michael Penix, it's flipped, right? Like Drake London, very excited if Penix is the quarterback.
38:07Tua Tonga-Vailoa, not excited for London and more excited for Pitts.
38:11But on the flip side, if Penix is the quarterback, like I'm not as excited for Pitts.
38:16Now, I'm also taking Pitts here because I just didn't love the board for what fell to us.
38:23And, you know, Tua is the quarterback. And either way, there's a possibility that Pitts does take that next step.
38:29But just looking at the stats last year, with Michael Penix at quarterback through eight games for Kyle Pitts, 50 targets, 36 receptions, 361 yards, just one touchdown.
38:39He averaged from a PPR standpoint just 9.8 points per game.
38:43So not terrible at 9.8 points per game. For what you drafted him at, like that's fine.
38:49It's not great. The spike weeks weren't there with Penix.
38:52Obviously, with Kirk Cousins, it was a different story.
38:55He had 14.7 PPR points per game. He obviously had that monster game where I think he scored like three touchdowns, which
39:02obviously seesawed things a little bit for him too.
39:06But just something to note, you know, I'm not overly concerned if Penix does take over because, look, they extended Pitts.
39:13They don't have a lot of weapons there. And the big thing is it's also Kevin Stefanski, Jay, who absolutely loves to
39:20throw to the tight end position over his career as a coach with his scheme.
39:25So happy about that. I do want to go over some of the board here.
39:30Before we took Dak Prescott, for those who are listening at home, sorry.
39:35Let's actually flip to the seventh round here. So seventh round, Drake May went at the turn, and then it went Cortland
39:42Sutton to start the seventh, Jalen Warren, Blake Corum, Alec Pierce, Jayden Daniels, Chris Godwin, Josh Downs.
39:48We took Kyle Pitts. Then RJ Harvey, Marshawn Lloyd went off the board.
39:53Matthew Stafford, Justin Herbert. Then to start the eighth round, it was Kenneth Gainwell, Tony Pollard, Jordan Mason, Michael Pittman.
39:59We took Dak Prescott, Susack with George Pickens. Then Rico Datto, who we talked about, did go off the board right after.
40:07Wondell Robinson, then Harold Fannan Jr., then Dejan Stribbling.
40:10DK Metcalf, George Kittle, Jalen Hurts to end the eighth round.
40:14And now we're on the flip here in the ninth round.
40:17Josh Jacobs does go off the board in the top 100 at pick 97 to kick off the ninth round.
40:24Then you got Brock Purdy right after to the George Kittle owner.
40:28And yeah, so we're kind of, we're a couple picks away here, but quarterbacks are starting to now go off the board.
40:36Trevor Lawrence, J.K. Dobbins. But I'm feeling pretty good about where we are here, Jay.
40:41We could get like a nice discount on even Michael Pennix Jr.
40:45if we wanted to get growth later and just add a third quarterback type of thing.
40:51I'm okay with that too. And it's funny, as you were reading off the names, when you read off Marshawn Lloyd, whenever
40:58you were going to be done, I was going to be like, well, what do you think of Josh Jacobs and where would you take him?
41:07And we get the answer in this draft, Pete.
41:10Marshawn Lloyd, round seven, late round seven. And then at the 8-9 turn, we see Josh Jacobs go at the 9-1.
41:17Josh Jacobs, if there is not some damning video that ends his career, like, hey, it's just going to be a nominal amount of games.
41:26We're looking at the opportunity for Josh Jacobs to entirely pay off.
41:30Do you think Marshawn Lloyd has flown a little too close to the sun going in round six and round seven of drafts now?
41:38Do you feel like that ceiling price is unpalatable?
41:41Yeah, I got to be honest. I actually, I still have Josh Jacobs ranked ahead of Marshawn Lloyd this year.
41:48You know, I don't know that it is a foregone conclusion that Marshawn Lloyd is just going to be the guy, right?
41:55Chris Evans is there. Uh, sorry, Chris Brooks. Uh, you also have Caleb Johnson.
42:00Um, and Marshawn Lloyd has just never really handled that for a full workload.
42:05Um, we are on the clock here though. So, uh, I am going to take your boy Casey Conception.
42:11Um, so we'll take Concepcion. Uh, he does fall back to us, which is great.
42:16Some, also some other wide receivers there, Jay. I'm really liking this team.
42:21Honestly, Jaden Reed is still on the board. Stefan Diggs is still on the board as well.
42:27Uh, quarterback wise, like if we went Jaden Reed, um, I'd be totally fine grabbing like Jordan Love is our second quarterback kind of thing.
42:35I've started to kind of move him up my rankings.
42:39Uh, well, I did move him up my rankings, uh, at the end of, uh, last week with my update.
42:45Um, but with the Marshawn Lloyd stuff with Josh Jacobs thing that the, the date for the court, the court date being
42:53pushed up makes me feel a little bit better.
42:56Cause it's like, okay, maybe we get with the suspension right there.
43:00Um, he gets off the exempt list and then we're just riding out five, six games.
43:05Like that's the whole, like you're paying a pretty expensive price on a running back that has never stayed healthy, Jay.
43:13Um, and this offensive line is not very good.
43:16So I worry that even if he is out there, how effective is he when we haven't really seen him do it
43:23at the NFL level ever really, um, consistently and then stay healthy.
43:27So it's like, you have a lot going against you to take Marshawn Lloyd that high.
43:33Um, so that's kind of my thought with that.
43:36Well, it's funny enough with how this is breaking down in the event, it looks like Jane Reed did just go.
43:43If you were to go after Jordan love, I do think team six is actually right set up now to pick Jordan love.
43:51And well, it'll be fun to watch because they have Tucker craft.
43:55They have no quarterbacks. If I'm thinking upside, I'm team six.
43:59I'm team Miller. I want to go and get some Jordan love.
44:03I'm right there with you. We extrapolate pure health for a guy who's never had any health in Marshawn Lloyd, just for
44:10the fact that there's a wide open opportunity at the running back position and Lloyd, there's been just multiple years of just
44:18fancy blue balls where you have so much cheaper later shares because it's, it's round 13, it's round 16 Marshawn Lloyd.
44:25And you're thinking you're clever because you're stacking and it never pays off because you don't even get to see him on the field.
44:33You see a glimpse where he's on the field for like a play goes off and it's like, wow, if he could be healthy, he'd be incredible.
44:42And we never get that. But now we're getting that.
44:46And I kind of think we're going to be a little bit disappointed that Packers schedule starting off with the Minnesota Vikings.
44:53I think it's a great opportunity. Those first few weeks, it presents a very good schedule for them.
44:59If it's going to happen, it's going to be right there, but I'm not so confident it's going to be sealing.
45:06Now you go, Pete, on the clock. Makai Lemon, I think you're getting a good discount with him now in round two.
45:14He's flipped ADP with somebody like Casey Concepcion. And Makai Lemon looks like he's off to a slow start in Philadelphia.
45:21Are you confident in him this year? When do you expect him to start picking up a month in?
45:28Do you think he'll take it immediately? Or are you concerned about, I think he's had what, hamstring issues?
45:34So yeah, I mean, I think with Lemon, I think it could take him a couple of weeks.
45:40I think he's a better best ball pick. I also do want to note, like, it sounds like Dontavian Wicks is going
45:48to have a pretty strong role in this offense.
45:51And so I caution people a little bit, you know, with Makai Lemon, patience is going to be important.
45:57And I don't know when it's going to hit.
46:00For basketball, totally love this price. I'm happy to get Dontavian Wicks later if I can.
46:06But it's start three wide receiver league. If Makai Lemon's my fifth receiver in a basketball format, and I don't have to
46:13worry about when I have to start him, but I do get the ceiling games.
46:18I'm totally good with that. I think the only tough thing that we're in a situation with now is the quarterback position, is the stacking.
46:27We could go with like a, well, Jake Ferguson actually went off the board before Makai Lemon here.
46:33So we don't get Ferguson. We could maybe go for like a Ryan Florinoy, who I happen to like.
46:39I think he's got some really good contingent upside.
46:43We also have the possibility of getting like a Malik Davis to kind of pair on the offense, but I'm not really,
46:50that's not something that excites me when it comes to stacks.
46:54The other backdoor stack potential that we have is like Seattle, right?
46:58You have Raheem Shahid on the board still. You have Sam Darnold still on the board as well.
47:04So Rashid Shahid is definitely a possibility to go with next round and then maybe try to grab Sam Darnold later because we do have Jardarian Price.
47:13And then maybe we grab an attack like a, a, a, a J Barner and I'm not high on Cooper cup.
47:20I know you're not, but in a, in a 30 round best ball format, you know, taking Cooper cup at some point later, totally, totally good with that.
47:30Um, so that's kind of my thoughts on where we are right now.
47:34I do want to take a quick break. Jay, we'll come right back.
47:39We'll talk about who's been picked so far in this round.
47:43And, uh, and then we will, uh, go ahead and take our next pick.
47:47The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform. Why third round reversal Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation.
47:53So it's a, a lottery based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft it's full PPR.
48:01There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
48:06And now they've combined with the FFWC. They have a lot more contests to offer.
48:11In fact, they have the double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC prime time.
48:16And if you win that 300 grand, you can also join the circle world championship and that's 200 grand.
48:23You win both. You win a million dollars. So go to play NFFC.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes.
48:32You can use first time 100 to get a hundred bucks when you sign up, but also every time you sign up

48:46Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
48:50We are proudly supported by Nathan and Sons, makers of underbrush remineralizing gum.
48:54The Nathan and Sons folks sent me some of this gum.
48:58And when you taste it, it's like, oh, this is what real flavor tastes like.
49:03It just didn't feel fake. It had a texture and a taste of what real gum should be because I've tried other
49:11natural gums and the flavor does not pop like it does with Nathan and Sons.
49:16And the flavor doesn't last. My favorite flavor is cinemastic.
49:19I also feel like my jaw's in better shape.
49:22Not doing as much clenching with my teeth. And what's funny is it's made with hydroxyapatite, the same mineral your tooth enamel is made from.
49:31And the best part is a chewing gum that helps take care of your teeth in between brushing.
49:37And critically, there is no plastic in this gum.

50:07Why wait? Hey Pete, interesting enough, there's eight teams that have two quarterbacks.
50:11And now we have our first team that has a third quarterback in team eight.
50:16Team Porter has Josh Allen. They have Jaden Daniels and Daniel Jones.
50:20What do you make of the QB board now?
50:23Do you feel pressure to go for another quarterback here?
50:27I do. I'm not even going to waste time and talk about it.
50:31We'll just go with Sam Darnold. I'm not going to overthink it.
50:35We got to do it. We hope Rasheed G comes back.
50:39If he doesn't, no big deal. But, you know, at least we have Jardarian Price, some contingent upside there.
50:46Well, I wouldn't say contingent upside, but some upside there with a stack.
50:50And we can always grab like an AJ Barner, like I said.
50:54We can always grab a Tori Horton, who's dealt with some injuries.
50:58But, and honestly, they could still also grab, what's his face now?
51:02Arroyo. Elijah Arroyo. Yep. Yeah. So, I'm fine with it.
51:06I would have liked maybe to get Jake Ferguson for the Cowboy stack.
51:10A little frustrating that we did not land him there, but you got to stay fluid in these drafts, right?
51:17You just never really know what's going to happen.
51:20And so, instead of pushing the second quarterback farther and farther, we'll take Darnold there.
51:25We've got, we're in a really good place with, we've got our top tight end.
51:30We've got three. No, there you go. To the Ferguson owner, who, who, who, the, the, first of all, team two is killing me right now.
51:39It's the person who took, yeah, they've taken a lot of our stacks.
51:43Well, they, they take, first of all, they took Matthew Stafford from us unstacked.
51:48They take Jake Ferguson, take Rashid Shahid. This is just a classic example of like a team that just makes you just
51:56tilt in a draft because really, really just don't know.
51:59Not the King said, good luck guys. My draft's about to start.
52:03Yes, sir. Good luck, man. Thank you so much for jumping in these last few weeks here with us on these drafts.
52:11But yeah, I just, just one of those teams where you look at, I hate to tell people how they should and shouldn't draft.
52:19Don't want to be that guy, but it's like sometimes in formats like this, when you're spending the money, you expect people
52:26to have a little bit more sense in how they're picking.
52:30And there's just a mishmash of a team here.
52:33There's really not many guys on the same team.
52:36I mean, I actually think they don't have a single player on the same team, including their quarterback.
52:42And of course, they take our last two players that we wanted.
52:46So maybe I'm being a jerk, but I hate it.
52:50So, yeah. Well, hey, Terrence Ferguson is still on the board.
52:54So maybe we could take him to take away his backdoor stack that he has.
52:59Jonah Coleman goes. I guess that we didn't come away with a Broncos running back, Pete, which I think, hey, this is
53:06our last draft that we have together before the season starts.
53:10Hey, it is what it is. We've gotten our fair share gamut of Denver Broncos running backs.
53:16Funny enough, usually it goes Dobbins, Harvey, Coleman. This draft, it went RJ Harvey in round seven and JK Dobbins goes in
53:23round nine and Jonah Coleman round 12. I think that's about appropriate.
53:27You can flip flop Dobbins and Harvey, but I think Coleman definitely has to go third in most instances, unless there's sickos
53:35in the draft taking them before Harvey. Well, and so by the way, that owner, we gave a lot of flack to
53:42did take to Stroud that they do get the Nico Collins stack now.
53:47So a little bit better. And then Jonah Coleman, like you said, goes off the board.
53:52Then Jacoby Brissett. I do want to, before I address the Broncos topic, some of the guys that we have on the
54:00board here, I'm just going to show the board to you guys or the possibilities.
54:05Kyle Menungai sticks out to me right now. He slipped a decent amount past ADP.
54:10I know there's not a ton of great buzz, but he didn't tear anything.
54:15It sounds like, and he's just kind of slipping.
54:18He was going inside the top 100, you know, before the injury a lot this off season.
54:24So I think it's good to go grab another running back here.
54:28Are you good with that? Because I think there's a really strong drop off here with these next running backs.
54:35Yes. And he could absolutely have kind of like the Jordan Mason play.
54:39We're very optimistic about Jordan Mason this year, being able to run high on rushing yards and get a lot of touchdown equity.
54:47Fun fact, I actually have a leading rushing touchdown bet ticket for Jordan Mason.
54:52I got plus 120 odds and I'm feeling pretty good about that.
54:56Whatever I bet, it's like I'll win a thousand bucks.
54:59That's the math on that. So it's a long shot one, long shot play.
55:04But somebody who could be like that would be Kyle Monongai.
55:08And people don't like to think Pete, where between the gaps, bruising running back who can accumulate lots of yards in the
55:15absence of DeAndre Swift and get a lot of touchdown equity in that same division as Jordan Mason.
55:21We've all been on the thought train of, oh, Monongai's out.
55:25Swift is just this great fourth, fifth, maybe sixth round pick.
55:29You're just getting such a winner by going zero running back and drafting DeAndre Swift.
55:34People don't like to think of the alternative where it's like, hey, DeAndre Swift gets hurt and that's a Kyle Monongai show.
55:41So for you to get him here round 12, I absolutely love it.
55:46And it's not a high dopamine inducing pick. It's not this rattling upside where you're thinking, oh my God, this guy is
55:53going to be a league winner if he takes over the backfield.
55:57But that's exactly what he can be in this offense tied to Ben Johnson.
56:02So a secondary, tertiary, low down piece of this offense layered tier wise.
56:07Kyle Monongai, that's a great pick. Yeah, I was happy to see him fall.
56:11I mean, like I said, I feel like there's a pretty big drop off in running backs.
56:17Like Algier goes, Woody Marks goes. I mean, Algier is interesting.
56:21I know people, a lot of people are like, like Algier.
56:25I prefer Monongai over Aaron Jones. I prefer him over Jonah Coleman.
56:29I prefer C-Rod over Kyle Monongai. I prefer Shab White over Kyle Monongai.
56:33So that's all fair and good. But yeah, I mean, to your point, I think it's, you know, he's kind of starting
56:41to get forgotten about and happy to get the price that we get there.
56:45This round, the way the board falls or we'll recap last round here, especially for those on the audio side.
56:52So to start off the 11th round, Mark Andrews goes off the board.
56:57Then Rashad White. Then Mike Washington Jr. Aaron Jones.
57:00Daniel Jones goes off the board. Then it's Jalen Coker.
57:03Then it's Tyler Shaw or Shuck. Sam Darnold is who we took there.
57:08Ebo Samuel. Romeo Dobbs. Then we get sniped. Rashid Jahid goes to team number two.
57:13Then Dalton Kincaid goes to wrap around the 11th round to finish it.
57:17Then you got Chris Rodriguez, CJ Stroud, Jonah Coleman, Jacoby Brissett, and Kyle Monongai to us.
57:23Then Jacoby Myers, Dallas Kickers, then Houston defense, then Malik Willis, Woody Marks.
57:27Xavier Worthy has just had a very, very large fall from grace.
57:31Tyler Algier, Cam Ward to start the 13th round.
57:34And then Jawan Johnson just gets picked just now.
57:37Now, you talked about Jonah Coleman. We had conversations about Coleman in the Broncos running back room.
57:43And it seemed like you started to kind of get pretty high on Coleman.
57:48But it seems like maybe you're kind of pulled off of it a little bit, Jay, as to where maybe you were a couple weeks ago.
57:57I think Coleman, Harvey, and Dobbins all fell pretty, pretty far.
58:00I think they were past 100. It was like in the pick 120s.
58:05And I don't remember if it was that you took Coleman over Dobbins, but Harvey was the last one of the three to go.
58:13Now you're talking today, and we've talked last week too.
58:16And it sounds like you have Harvey ahead of Coleman now.
58:20Is that true? And is there a reason for the switch for you?
58:25Well, it's always been the proper order. So what ends up happening is I've been able to digest a lot more Coleman
58:32because by virtue of law of large numbers, I'm coming away with a Denver Broncos running back in just about every single draft.
58:40So for instance, Dobbins and Harvey, I have 12% roster ship each like a robot.
58:45I actually have both that much in all my best ball platforms.
58:49Jonah Coleman is my one player that I've been irrationally high on.
58:53I like high, like 37%, but he's also been the cheapest.
58:57So I'm clicking him the most because he's the cheapest.
59:00But price wise, there's a little more to offer in the range of other players like war value where it's Dobbins and Harvey.
59:08There's other players you can still click on. By the time you get to Jonah Coleman, Pete, he just sticks out to
59:16me like I'm going to get him three and four fold versus the rest of the players.
59:21It's kind of like, okay, DJ Moore, what is his cost been?
59:26It's not so much been the narrow talent value of DJ Moore.
59:30It's been, well, if you pick DJ Moore, you're picking against other great players.
59:34So as the board wears down with Denver backfield, I start saying to myself, yeah, I'm just taking anybody else.
59:41Like I'll take, I like Chris Rodriguez enough, but I'll take the high upside on Jonah Coleman.
59:47I'll take Jonah Coleman over common on guy. I'll take him over Jacoby Myers.
59:52It's funny enough, just Woody Marks looking at all these players.
59:56That's my excitement level. That's where it layers in.
59:59Somebody who could come close to that, though, who did go close to him, Pete, was Mike Washington.
60:05And I invite your thoughts on that because we've covered Marshawn Lloyd, Jonah Coleman, the Denver Broncos backfield.
60:11We're kind of on this cool, hot topic of high upside cuff running backs, backup running backs, guys who are flex cuffs,
60:18who maintain value even if they're not the starter.
60:21Mike Washington, is he going to be a thing?
60:24Will he be a thorn inside of janty rosterers and team managers?
60:29Are you high on him? He goes in round 11, maybe a little bit of a cooling because that ankle injury, my
60:36God, Mike Washington was vaulting up the board like he was Marshawn Lynch.
60:41Yeah, I think there's real value in Mike Washington Jr.
60:44I think there's a world where he does have some standalone value.
60:48It's tough. The Raiders offense would just have to beat expectations and be better than expected.
60:53But I think there's a world where that happens.
60:57I also think this is probably going to get closer to somewhat of a not a not a timeshare.
61:03I don't want to say that. But, you know, coming from Kubiak's coming in.
61:08Right. He had somewhat of a timeshare last year.
61:11Now, Janty gets hurt. They've been able to see what Mike Washington has done.
61:16He's instilled confidence in this coaching staff. And so and we know that Kubiak wanted him right now, whether that's how much it's true.
61:24The whole he stood on the table for him kind of thing.
61:28Like, I don't know if he wanted him that bad.
61:31But either way, enough has changed and enough has shaken up with the injury, with the performance and with the history of
61:39Kubiak to believe that Janty might just not be this amazing bell cow.
61:43And I think that's a scare for a lot of people.
61:47I was not that high on Janty this year.
61:50I didn't have him in the first round. Some people did.
61:54I think he won first round in this draft, actually, if I if I'm correct.
61:59Yeah, he went to 10th pick in this round.
62:02And to me with Janty, it's always been about the volume.
62:06But and the offensive line is going to be better.
62:09Play calling should be better. But if the volume drops off and he's not scoring touchdowns, then where are we with Janty?
62:17And that's my concern a little bit with the injury, you know, with Mike Washington eating into it a little bit.
62:24I don't think Mike, it's not. If you told me Janty was second round pick mid like I have been valued right now is like a late second.
62:33That's where I want him. Anything higher than that, I don't want him right now.
62:38There's guys that I think are healthier. They're going ahead of him that I'd much rather draft at the moment.
62:45And so I just don't find myself clicking him or didn't the last couple of weeks.
62:51And so I think Coleman, Mike Washington, I'm sorry, is a really, really still a nice value, even though he's at pick
62:58round 11 here and it's higher than he was getting picked before the injury.
63:03I think he settles in at a nice price.
63:06And I think he's a really, really nice handcuff to have.
63:10And yeah, so I'm a fan. Well, we're really going to test the theory of bad running, amazing running backs on bad teams.
63:18Yeah. Miami Dolphins with Devon Achan, Ashton Janty with the Raiders, Jeremiah Love with the Arizona Cardinals.
63:23We shall see. It's really going to push to the limit when we talk about, okay, law of large numbers, Vegas point
63:31totals, extrapolate to what can a bell cow running back do in a situation like that?
63:36How many of them can go against the grain, can all three hit in a big way for fantasy football?
63:43Meanwhile, it's counterintuitive because the entirety of the team's offense on a macro level is looking rough.
63:49And then you just get out to how can Bowers and Janty both hit and be so highly priced in the first two rounds?
63:57How can Trey McBride and Jeremiah Love be valued so much?
64:01We get another high upside cuff back in Emmitt Johnson.
64:04So funny enough, topical enough, we just keep pushing.
64:07Pete, what do you make of, for a long time, it was a Mary DiMarcado.
64:12If you were able to see through the fog of a Mary DiMarcado and just keep clicking on Emmitt Johnson, I have about 20% plus on him.
64:22How do you feel about Emmitt Johnson now that, hey, you're just one missed game by Kenneth Walker away from maybe a blow-up opportunity?
64:30Yeah, I'm happy with picking Emmitt Johnson. I've got a decent amount of exposure to him as well this year.
64:37Really, really like the player coming out of college and also just like the situation now.
64:42He's the clear-cut number two at this point in time.
64:46They didn't really bring much else there. Them getting rid of DiMarcado, I think, was a clear signal to me and a
64:53lot of people that this is how they felt about him, that they felt confident and comfortable.
64:59Now, we've got 45 seconds here on the clock.
65:02We do have two quarterbacks in Sam Darnold and Dak Prescott.
65:06I don't feel like forcing a third quarterback here.
65:09Team defenses has started to kind of push. I think right now, for me, like I have Vikings as my highest rated defense right now.
65:17Chargers are still on the board, too. They get a good start to the year, but it is best ball.
65:24So, I'm not overly concerned about that. I think it's time to put the pick in and pick a defense here.
65:31Yeah, go for it. Is it the Minnesota Vikings?
65:34Very good pick. Funny enough, early in the offseason, there was talk about struggles of Kyler Murray and the Minnesota Vikings offense.
65:42And I remember thinking, well, wait until they play a Micah Parsons-less Packers in week one, and let's wait to reserve judgment
65:49because you're practicing against iron in the Minnesota Vikings defense.
65:53So, I think that was like an underrated thing, like, hey, the Vikings are struggling, but maybe it's more to it the
66:00fact that, what you spoke to, Pete, Vikings have a very good defense.
66:05They're one of the higher-ranked defenses, and you want to run the race with endurance.
66:10You mentioned the Chargers being a good off-to-the-races starting defense, but for the entirety of the season, war value, all that, power
66:17ratings, you've got the Vikings firmly ahead. Yeah, I mean, look, I trust Brian Flores.
66:22I trust this defense. Like, Harrison Smith's now coming back.
66:26You know, so I just – I like the Vikings.
66:29Anytime you're going to have Brian Flores-led defense, they're going to be good typically.
66:34I also do want to note here, like, the Patriots go off the board here.
66:39I prefer the Ravens ahead of the Patriots. I prefer the Chargers ahead of the Patriots.
66:44I prefer the Steelers ahead of the Patriots. I'm not high on the Patriots defense this year.
66:50Their defensive line scares me. Their pass rush scares me.
66:54They brought in Draymond Jones. They brought in Bayard, which was a nice move in the secondary.
66:59He led the NFL in interceptions last year for the Bears.
67:03But overall, Dontavia Wicks goes off the board. Nice pick.
67:07But overall, I just – I'm not high on the Patriots defense.
67:11If you look at the quarterbacks they played to end the season, they were, like, top 10 in EPA on defense to finish the year.
67:19But they played – I mean, they played, like – it was, like, Brady Cook.
67:24Played Joe Flacco. You know, they played a lot of backups to end the year.
67:29It's a regular season. Forgetting about the playoffs. But so I just – I'm not really high on the Patriots.
67:36I don't know why a lot of people like them.
67:40Their schedule gets harder this year. So I think a lot of people are looking at last year's production, and they're assuming
67:47it's going to be that way this year. And they definitely get really lucky again because they did have – I think
67:55they were top five in special teams touchdowns, which definitely helped them as well, which is not sticky.
68:01And then they also obviously had all these backups that they got to play and take advantage of at the end of the year.
68:09So just a little rant there for the Patriots defense.
68:12I'm not super high on them. So I don't know why they go as high as they do.
68:19But with all that to be said, Ravens and Chargers, interestingly enough, I do want to double up on defense here.
68:26You have Jesse Minter who leaves the Chargers, goes to the Ravens.
68:30I also do like the Chargers' schedule a lot, but I like the talent on the Ravens' day.
68:36Do you have a lean here? Which defense do you prefer out of those two?
68:41Yeah, you had said the Ravens. If you think they're going to be the better for the duration and not just hot
68:48off the jump, go for the Baltimore Ravens. And tied to Lamar Jackson, tied to a very good quarterback, sometimes that can help as far as game flow.
68:58Derrick Henry doing his thing, just running the clock out.
69:01I like what you said about the New England Patriots defense because last year they were just a fun team.
69:08It's streaming, especially midseason. They had this stretch, it was like a month long, where they were just tearing teams up.
69:15And it was just phenomenal matchups. But to your point, the matchups lined up as well with the talent.
69:22Well, now the talent is going to match up with a more difficult schedule.
69:27It will be interesting though, Pete. I do wonder, because in some senses, I thought that that limited Drake May's ceiling.
69:34We could have had even more shootouts. So I wonder, do you think if the Patriots take like just a, maybe go
69:41to the middle of the pack, maybe they don't lose everything defensively, but they're middle of the pack.
69:47Do we think that's going to favor a little bit more shootout mentality, especially add in AJ Brown to where there's some run back potential on the Patriots?
69:57That there aren't so many limited opportunities? Because to a degree, I feel like Drake May really ran efficient last year.
70:04If we want year over year, talking about sticky, if we want Drake May to keep in line with somebody like a
70:12Josh Allen, we have to have a little bit of this Joe Burrow, Dak Prescott recipe where you're stirring the pot and
70:19the defense just gave up another touchdown and you got to run it back.
70:24So if we could just get any kind of level off to your point about the Patriots path on defense, I think
70:31that's going to benefit to the fact of Drake May and AJ Brown are coming off the bench in the sidelines again.
70:39Damn it. We got to get more points. So that's an angle that I'm going to be watching to see tempo game flow.
70:47How will this game be? They got shut down versus Seahawks in this opening night.
70:52I'm going to be very curious to see, you know, is that ball getting lobbed up to AJ Brown for that touchdown?
70:59And we're starting to have a little bit of a shootout surprisingly because people take last year's result and think, man, Patriots are just up against it again.
71:09But I think this game could absolutely have some shootout potential to that end.
71:14Yeah, I could see it. Nicky Moore, a man, Wari is out for Seattle.
71:18They're banged up a little bit on defense. To your point, I do think with the defense possibly not being as good,
71:26you know, there is potential for the offense to, you know, take a step forward in that regard too.
71:32They do play some tougher defenses this year, though, in my opinion.
71:36Just want to close the book here because I was able to pull it up while we were talking.
71:43Quarterbacks last year from week 13 to week 18.
71:46Again, not talking about the playoffs. Jackson Dart, they had a bye week.
71:50So they played a rookie quarterback in Dart. They had a bye week and they played Josh Allen.
71:57To close out the year, they played Tyler Huntley, Brady Cook, Quinn Ewers, and Zach Wilson.
72:02And then before that, it was Bill Flacco in week 12, I believe.
72:06And they might have even played Brady Cook the week before that as well.
72:11I'm not sure. I have to verify. But this goes to show kind of, again, the week schedule and how things look.
72:19I do also want to do a quick sweep of the board for the audio side so they know what we've got
72:26going on in the last four rounds, who we have taken.
72:30We took Jordan Tyson in round 13, Ryan Flournoy for the stack with Dak Prescott and Dallas Cowboys in round 14.
72:37In round 15, we had Minnesota Vikings, and then we took the Ravens in round 16.
72:43Just a board in totality in round 13 to start with the round that we took Jordan Tyson.
72:49It was Cam Ward, Juwan Johnson, Aaron Rodgers, Rams defense, Seattle defense, Dylan Sampson, Bryce Young.
72:54I've got to take the big sticker off. Bryce Young went off the board.
72:59Then it was us with Jordan Tyson, Zach Sharpen, Agino Smith, Dalton Schultz, Khalil Shakir to wrap up the 13th round.
73:06Then Jalen Naylor goes ahead of his running mate in Trey Tucker.
73:10Interesting there. Jalen Naylor goes off the board at pick 14.
73:14Then the Broncos defense, Terrence Ferguson. So, again, the Matthew Stafford team passed on Terrence Ferguson.
73:19So, just completely naked there. Hunter Henry. Then we took Flournoy.
73:23Emma Johnson goes off the board. Brenton Strange. Philadelphia Eagles defense.
73:27Chicka Conco, TJ Hawkinson, Denzel Boston, and Jacoby Lane.
73:30A nice value there for team 12. Then in round 15, team 12 takes Tajay Spears at the turn.
73:36Then Trey Tucker. The other Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver.
73:40Houston Texans. Alvin Kamara. Seattle defense. Jacksonville Jaguars. Trey Harris.
73:43Vikings defense. Deshaun Watson. Patriots defense. Chargers defense. Steelers defense.
73:47We will give the round 16 recap in just a second because we are back up on the clock.
73:53And we did pretty much just pound a ton of defenses.
73:57We'll look at the quarterbacks here. Jay. Fernando Mendoza.
74:00Tua Tagovailoa. Kirk Cousins. Michael Penix are available. We talked about maybe getting a third quarterback.
74:05Do we want to go with Penix or do we want to just go with Fernando Mendoza and hope that maybe we
74:13get some picks for him at the end of the year?
74:17Yeah. Go for Fernando Mendoza. I would absolutely do that.
74:20And I like the idea of Mendoza with somebody like a Jack Batch who you could get late.
74:26And for some reason, ever since we did one of our first streams, Pete, somebody mentioned Mendoza in a Batch stack.
74:33And I thought, man, that sounds phenomenal. And for whatever reason, I did a flip your cards episode on Best Ball Night
74:41School with Ed DeLauter on another platform. And my fifth highest roster quarterback, Pete, you talk about like screaming backdoor was Fernando Mendoza.
74:49I was shocked. Like, I don't remember clicking Fernando Mendoza that many times.
74:53Was it in three quarterback builds? Absolutely. So to our point, the pressure is entirely off.
74:59And I think he's a sharp kid. Do we go near that week 13 by and then get starting where it's like, hey, week 14 on.
75:07So it's basically the playoffs, not outcome. Or is it somewhere weeks five or six where.
75:13Theoretically, they seem like they're going to be one in five.
75:17Oh, and six. Two and six, whatever, like we get to the middle of the season.
75:22Like, when do you think he starts? I really think that Kirk Cousins is a little bit better than people are giving him credit for.
75:31I think he's going to be a little bit better.
75:34But I don't think it's going to be enough because I don't know that they're going to win a lot of games.
75:42I think Cousins is going to be solid. Their defense is absolutely terrible, though.
75:46I mean, they did put a bunch of money into this team with free agent signings.
75:52So maybe the defense is a little bit better than expected.
75:55But I'm not going to hold my breath there.
75:59And I think it's possible that we see even like even by week eight that that Fernando Mendoza gets put in the game and is starting.
76:07Let's wrap up here in terms of we round 16.
76:11We'll give round 17. We'll take our pick. We'll take a break.
76:15Dontavian Wicks went to start round 16. I did talk about him.
76:19I thought it was a nice value. We did not end up getting him.
76:24Keaton Mitchell has fallen a ton here. He goes off the board here at the second pick in round two.
76:31I am not a big Keaton Mitchell fan, Jay.
76:34We've talked about this. There was times Keaton Mitchell was going like around like pick one 2130, Jay.
76:40Jacksonville Jaguars, kicker, Shador Sanders. We take the Ravens defense.
76:43Then Tank Figsby goes off the board. Kayshaun Boutte, Vikings kickers, Caleb Douglas, Malik Washington, Adonai Mitchell, Ray Davis.
76:50Love that pick. Los Angeles Chargers, Kalen Black start off the 17th round.
76:54Then you got Gunner Helm, Chris Bell, Indianapolis Colts kickers.
76:58So that team eight right there has gone three defenses, three kickers in a row, their last six picks.
77:04Then you have Kenyon Sadiq, A.J. Barner. So we don't get Barner to stack with Seattle.
77:09We take Mendoza. Then Brian Robinson goes off the board.
77:13Pat Fryermuth, Chicago Bears defense. Pat Bryant. I said Pat Fryermuth.
77:17Pat Bryant as well. Then Buffalo has defense to start the 18th round.
77:21Keenan Allen, Najee Harris, Michael Penix Jr. Now we are on the board.
77:25Let's talk through this. We got 40 seconds here, Jay.
77:29No need for a quarterback. We've hit a lot of these other players.
77:33I think tight end is something we got to probably take a look at here.
77:38It doesn't have to be stacked. Who are these tight ends here that you like?
77:44You have Rondé Gadsden, Greg Dolcich, K-Dot, and Kobe Parkinson.
77:47It takes a pretty sharp drop here. We could go upside with Gadsden and Dolcich, which I think probably make the most sense.
77:55But what are your thoughts? Do you like either of those guys?
77:59Or we could go with a kicker. But we've got 10 seconds.
78:03Yeah, I would go Gadsden. And Dolcich is a safe play.
78:07But Gadsden is that upside play. And at this point, it's funny enough.
78:11And this is a callback. And then we'll hit our break.
78:15We were in the player profiler draft. And Podfather was up.
78:19And he was up on the clock. And he mentioned.
78:22And this is a tight end premium draft. Redraft.
78:25High stakes. Much like this. And he said, hey, do I go Rondé Gadsden or do I go Terrence Ferguson?
78:32And Pete, man, when I tell you I lied my ass off about why he should draft Rondé Gadsden, I threw him off the scent.
78:40He took Gadsden. And you should have known I was lying when I was like, yeah, man, Devontae Adams.
78:47Because he's been on some fade episodes with Wyatt that we've had.
78:51He's just going to crush it in the red zone.
78:54Ferguson is just a wish casting thing. So he goes and picks Rondé Gadsden.
78:59But when I was making the bullish case for Rondé Gadsden, he did have that month stretch last year.
79:06And in the event that injuries happen and Charlie Kolar isn't as big of a thing as we think, I don't think Njoku is an issue one bit.
79:15We could absolutely benefit and reap massive rewards from Rondé Gadsden tied to Justin Herbert.
79:20If we see Justin Herbert having an MVP season, having Gadsden, I think he's dipped so much that he's presented such good value.
79:28I've gotten and we've gotten a lot of Greg Dulcich.
79:32But I think the issue with Dulcich is he's just kind of a safe play and not a guarantee to get touchdown equity.
79:39So that's the play on that. We go Rondé Gadsden.
79:43Let's hear from the podfather. The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform.
79:47Why? Third round reversal. Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation.
79:50So it's a lottery based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft.
79:56It's full PPR. There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
80:03And now they've combined with the FFWC. They have a lot more contests to offer.
80:08In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
80:13And if you win that, 300 grand. You can also join the Circo World Championship.
80:18And that's 200 grand. You win both. You win a million dollars.

80:41Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.

81:58Why wait? We are back. We got a couple picks to get to ours.
82:02Do you want to pull up Jay Cup's question here?
82:06He's been waiting. He asked about a trade, Jay.
82:09So why don't you go ahead and read that off, and I'm going to drop off for just a second, but I'll be right.
82:17All right, perfect. And let's see. We have half PPR, 12 teams, two flex, draft pick number eight, picks in order, Cook, Hampton.
82:25So it looks like a half PPR. You're going to want the running backs.
82:30Love that play. Alave Waddle, Tootin, Parker Washington. So three and three on the receivers and running backs.
82:36Marshawn Lloyd, Godwin, Fannin, Golden, Chris Rodriguez, Murray, and Purdy.
82:39Dude, love that team. Love what you did. And let's see.
82:43You're thinking of offering the guy with Etienne, Tootin, and Chris Rodriguez.
82:47Oh, you want to just get out of the Jaguars business and go and get Travis Etienne.
82:53And I think that's a smart, wise play. If you can package Tootin and Rodriguez and not have the headache, you ought
83:00to go and get some Travis Etienne. I think that's just a great play.
83:05Not a lot of people are talking about Travis Etienne just being really the main guy right now for the New Orleans
83:13Saints in that high octane offense with Tyler Shuck.
83:16So I think that would be a smart play, especially if this is a redraft, it sounds like.
83:22Now, if you want, though, there's no harm either way in just keeping them and letting it ride out and flexing some
83:29other players because you have two flex spots. It sounds like you can punch somebody else in that spot with Tootin and Rodriguez.
83:37But it sounds like you don't want the headache.
83:40So if you think the person would go for it, absolutely.
83:44And it cleans something up and it allows you the sneaky thing that you can do.
83:50It opens up a roster spot, J-Cup. You can go and pick somebody up.
83:54So J-Cup, do you have anybody who is on the bench right now, on the waivers, who you think you could pick up because that can afford you.
84:04If that's a managed league and you have defenses and kickers, you can definitely look ahead on team defenses.
84:10And if there's another high upside running back play, I would do that too.
84:15Like if there's a high upside running back cuff, let's say it's Braylon Allen who's available.
84:21You can offload that trade and get equivalent backfield share, less headache in Etienne, and then pick up like a Braylon Allen or Malik Davis.
84:29And you're pushing against the rest of your league mates who have the Javante Williams, the Brees Halls out there.
84:36So let me know if that answered your questions.
84:39And I like the team that you have set up.
84:42Good all around. And you're layered and protected. I really like what you did, half PPR going Cook and Hampton.
84:49You want to get touchdown equity. Half point PPR favors in a way, Pete.
84:54Touchdown equity. Kind of like a standard league, which I did for the first time since 2013.
85:00I had a friend. I was in the draft.
85:03I read all the rules, Pete. And thank God I did.
85:07Because I had the 106 and it was, do I go McCaffrey or do I go Amon Ross St.
85:13Brown? If it were PPR, I would have gone probably Amon Ross St.
85:17Brown. But in my head, I'm like, oh, wait, touchdown equity.
85:21I got to go somebody like Christian McCaffrey. But in those half point formats still, touchdowns are huge.
85:27The PPR goodness exists and is tremendous to get half points per reception.
85:32But my God, you need those touchdowns. So I like the equity that you have cooked up there with, ironically, James Cook and Amari and Hampton.
85:41So a lot of fun there. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions, Jacob, and we can get into those more.
85:48We see Pete, round 19. Let me read off round 19.
85:52We've got Greg Dulcich went and he ended up going after at the turn.
85:57It was the Chiefs. Team 12 went the Chiefs and Greg Dulcich.
86:01Actually, just before that was Braylon Allen, who we were talking about.
86:05So Jacob, is Braylon Allen out there off of a trade?
86:09Would Kamani Vidal be there, who went to team 111?
86:12Furthering on to round 19, Cyrus Allen goes. He's been a hot name all summer.
86:17Trendy. Sleeper. Here he is in round 19. Everyone's awake to him.
86:21But at the same time, he's priced like a sleeper, Pete.
86:25New Orleans Saints. I know you're high on the Saints versus consensus, at least, versus market.
86:31You see a lot more scrappiness from them. Jerry Judy goes in round 19.
86:35I don't know if I can write a narrative about Jerry Judy, but I guess it's kind of the same play as somebody like a Cooper Cup.
86:45You know, hey, he's still on his team. I will say Judy's interesting, though, because I know Conception and Voss that look good.
86:52But, like, I was reading some reports, and it still sounds like Judy's going to be involved in the offense.
86:59It's just a bad offense, which is tough. But, like, you also getting Judy here in, like, path pick 200.
87:06Like, I don't think that matches what he's going to do this year.
87:11I really don't. I don't know if he's the highest ceiling guy, but I certainly don't think he's, like, outside of 200 type of player.
87:19Yeah, I think Jerry Judy is somebody who, if you're a team building and you look at the Browns, Boston Conception, Fannin,
87:27Junkin Simpson, you're talking about just players who are mid-20s and under.
87:31Why build towards the future? If Jerry Judy is not part of that future, I would love to see Jerry Judy get
87:38involved to some degree on a trade. And then there would be lightning in a bottle.
87:44Continuing on the rest of the round, DeMond Claiborne, hot sleeper name for the Minnesota Vikings, Lions, go defense.
87:50That's going to be tough. Glad we went with Vikings and Ravens when we did, right?
87:56Buccaneers, place kicker. You took him. I love Chase McLaughlin.
87:59He's crazy. It's like a firewall type of player where if there's a 50 point over under in so many Buccaneers games,
88:06who stands to benefit and reason from that? It's the kicking game of the Buccaneers.
88:12Darren Waller goes, Devon Vele, 49ers kicker, and then Tyrone Tracy.
88:15Wrapping around to round 20, Pittsburgh Steelers kicker. Kirk Cousins goes.
88:19So no opportunity for us to double up on the Raiders quarterback room.
88:2349ers defense, Justice Hill goes. We go with Isaiah Pacheco.
88:27We'll get your thoughts on that. Malik Davis, the clear cuff for now for the Cowboys.
88:32It doesn't look like anybody's been brought in. Chicago Bears, kicker for Team 7.
88:37Amari DiMarcado, pour some out, but maybe pour some for Mr.
88:41Porter here who sees something in Amari DiMarcado. Maybe he'll find an opportunity somewhere.
88:46The Rams kicker and Lions kicker. So Pete, break down any of these picks that you want, but just go through Isaiah Pacheco versus somebody like Malik Davis.
88:55Yeah, I took Pacheco at this point. We don't, we're not really hurting for running back.
89:01I mean, he's our fifth guy. I still don't think there's a clear cut, like backup to Gibbs.
89:07So look, we don't need Pacheco. Pacheco comes back.
89:10He's going to be the number two. We know that, right?
89:14So he's going to be the number two. I don't know.
89:17Sailors and Vocky, like these are guys that I don't see just taking a grip on that number two role and just not relinquishing it.
89:26I just don't see that happening. Pacheco obviously with the back injury and I think like an MCL, it didn't tear his
89:33MCL, but for some sort of MCL sprain, he's placed on the injured reserve.
89:38He will come back ideally unless it's worse than we thought and they have to do surgery.
89:44But he'll come back and he'll maybe get into that like a Montgomery light role.
89:49Maybe it's not to, you know, what we had seen and what we're used to with the David Montgomery role, but it's
89:57enough where it's like, hey, like he could fall into the end zone twice in a game and get plugged into our lineup.
90:04Like there's a world where that happens if Pacheco comes back, is it going to happen a lot?
90:10No. Is it guaranteed? No. But there's a world where it happens and it's a great offense.
90:16And it's a guy that they brought in and we know they like to do a one-two punch.
90:22I don't think we're going to see that until he's back.
90:26And I don't think it's going to be to the extent that we used to see.
90:32But I think, you know, in pick the pick in the two thirties Pacheco, they're totally fine taking it and taking a
90:39chance on him with no risk at all. You love to see it because this is long form.
90:45When you make a pick, like I say, Pacheco, most people aren't going to be elated.
90:51But here we are in round 20. Funny enough, the way this draft has gone.
90:56It's just like chopping up prime for about two hours.
90:59We got about 10 rounds left. And I think this is going to last till about 10 o'clock.
91:05And it's been a good pace. You know, some drafts are quicker than others.
91:10And I think it speaks to the fact that we're here on Labor Day and the NFL season starts in two days.
91:18Most people have their players and their chips all sorted out.
91:21But it is very interesting when we look at this draft, Pete, versus even two weeks ago.
91:27So much change happens, like seeing Quentin Johnson go as high as he went, seeing Marshawn Lloyd go as high as he went.
91:35It is kind of funny the amount of players who just go much higher as we get closer to the bell and
91:42the buzzer because people are saturating so much more information.
91:46Is there anything that surprised you the most as we've gotten late into the fold here for ADP and draft and how
91:53people are reacting right up to the buzzer? Well, I guess, for example, in this draft here, the Chris Olave fall here, I'm a little confused about.
92:03So, um, when, if, if Evan Ingram get off my screen, uh, this number six team takes him in the third round.
92:10So he pretty much goes dead on. Why is Evan Ingram still on my screen?
92:15Um, maybe I gotta hit a big sticker and then unclick it again.
92:20I may have to refresh the screen. Anyway, uh, Chris Olave goes in the mid second round.
92:25I don't think that's where he should be going.
92:29Um, I don't know if there's any news or anything in particular that has that, you know, had drafters fading him.
92:36Um, I, I still have him, you know, I, I have him decently high.
92:40So not really sure about that. Javante Williams was a nice shake up there at the end.
92:46The first of the second round, I've seen it now twice.
92:50Jay, where Javante has been a second round pick.
92:53I think this, I don't know if this happened.
92:56This happened in a home league draft of mine where it wasn't like a home league where it's still decent stakes.
93:03Uh, it's like a, it's like a two 50 entry.
93:07Um, and I saw him go, you know, like in the second round.
93:11So with all of that talking, thankfully I had a cue because, uh, Isaac definitely just got auto picked for us, but
93:19I did have him in the queue. So that's why you have some sort of queue.
93:24Jay. Well, it's funny enough. Jeff, uh, you like Isaac Tesla and we've selected him in prior drafts.
93:30So if you are going to get him as an auto pick, good pick there.
93:35And we're here in round 21. Funny. You have like a layered play of the lions offense.
93:41That's not anywhere near chalk. You have Isaiah Pacheco and Isaac Tesla tied to one of the best offenses in the league who has a tremendous schedule.
93:50Could end up reaping rewards and benefit to get payoff from round 20 in round 21.
93:56We're talking two games of spike week or somewhere that where they pop into your lineup.
94:01It's not many games where it's just a massive overhaul of benefit to you versus the rest of the field versus the other 11 people.
94:10And then of course in this larger field tournament.
94:13So as we get into these layered rounds, you know, we talk about Devon Bailey.
94:18How many weeks is he really going to hit for people?
94:22How many weeks realistically will Cyrus Allen really be a thing?
94:25We shall see. I do love in round 21 here.
94:29I do love the Ted Hurst pick because while Mecca Buka looks like he's getting healthy, Ted Hurst is pretty, pretty sneaky.
94:36Especially if Jalen McClellan is not going to be healthy.
94:40And even with that said, Baker is just. You can't make fun of me for messing up people's names and you just call them Jalen McClellan.
94:49Oh, did I say McClellan? Yeah. Yeah. McMillan. Oh, hey, it's that's the, that's the Oregon kid.
94:54Is it not? McMillan? No, McClellan. I think that's because I was watching the Oregon game.
95:00I think it's the receiver out there. So I'm getting my, my ducks are out of order.
95:06Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Always an excuse. Yup. We're, we're up here.
95:09So let's just, let's just show the, show the viewers, the board just so they can see who's available.
95:16Uh, we have two tight ends right now. You know, we did take ads and we have pits.
95:22Um, we, we talked about maybe taking a mayor later.
95:25Mayor is also available. We can probably wait on these guys.
95:29I know we could probably wait on those guys that OJ.
95:33Um, I think it might be worth it to maybe take a swing at one more kicker so that we, we can
95:40kind of just get it out of the way.
95:43Um, looking at some of these teams, I like to pick pickers on teams that we know aren't going to be super aggressive on fourth down.
95:52Um, I also do particularly like in, in the red zone.
95:56I think saints is a good, is a good option here.
96:00Jay. Um, just because I think that they, they have a good schedule.
96:04The offense will move the ball and maybe they can't punch the ball in as much for touchdowns, but they should push the ball downfield.
96:13And maybe that's what we see with this offense when it takes that step forward where, Hey, they are moving the ball.
96:20Well, their offense is certainly taking a step forward, but maybe it's like, uh, Hey, like they, they just, they, they're still
96:28not there yet of just being able to punch it in when they get down there.
96:33I like that play and you're in the domed offense.
96:37And if they're going to go off, there's correlation between quarterbacks and kickers.
96:41Cause of course, if the quarterback is driving and doing well, Hey, if there's five touchdowns that get dealt, there's at least
96:49five points, but virtue of a stall drive here and there, you're right to get a couple opportunities for a 30 yard
96:56and then a 40 yard field goal. And then all of a sudden you see a quick path to 10 points.
97:03If you can get, that's another thing, Pete, I was thinking about it today when you're streaming.
97:09And also when you're just playing, can you get 10 points from your defense?
97:14Can you get 10 points from your kicker? And then between your kicker and your defense on a given week, they could trade.
97:22Usually it happens more frequently with the defense. Those weeks where your defense can get you basically 20 points are just such tilting.
97:29Week winning opportunities for you. And sometimes it happens with the kicker where it's like, Hey, they boomed two 50 yarders and a 40 yarder.
97:38And they're cooking with gas. All of a sudden they have a 14 point game and there's another field goal late.
97:45And then it's like 17 points. Boom. How did that happen?
97:49So it's funny enough. You want to just get requisite points.
97:53Can I get 10 and 10? Can I get 20 for my fill for my kicker and my defense?
97:59But if I can get just a boom between one of the two, a kicker or defense to give me 15 to
98:0720 points, that's where it just can catapult and support the rest of your lineup.
98:12So good pick on the New Orleans Saints. We see the Cleveland Browns defense go.
98:17We're here in round 22. Four defenses have gone.
98:20Pete Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
98:23Is there, I don't know if there's any path to positivity with them.
98:28Maybe some pass rush on the Falcons end. We shall see.
98:31Funny enough, Elijah Royal goes Pete. And he was like a layered play that we thought about, you know, the kid from
98:39Miami, but Elijah Royal, I think is. Hey, it's somebody on the board in round 22.
98:44You're not really going to have too high expectations.
98:47One, not too high expectations would be Mike Jacecki.
98:51I'm really not so excited about him and thrall.
98:54Maybe you just get some touchdown equity. So it is kind of getting ugly pretty quick.
98:59And we did see Tua starting Falcons quarterback. Tua tag out by Lowa.
99:03How do you make it? Do you think this is just a field saying we don't buy the fact that it's the full season?
99:12It's just a boat of confidence for maybe a week or two before Penix gets healthy.
99:17Yeah, I mean, that's pretty much what it is.
99:20I mean, Penix goes four rounds ahead of him, five rounds ahead of him.
99:25So pretty decent gap. Penix went 18th round, fourth overall.
99:28And you have Tua who goes 22nd round towards the back end to the ninth overall team.
99:34So, yeah, as for like, is there a defense?
99:37Is there a team that I kind of like at this stage?
99:41I kind of like the New York Jets. I talked about them a little bit on Twitter.
99:47They're a sneaky unit this year. They bring in tomorrow Davis to a green dot.
99:52They have a pretty easy schedule. Got to be honest, they get to play the Dolphins twice.
99:58You know, they open up against the Titans. I have them as a top 15 defense this week to start the year.
100:05Obviously, it's sketchy because you just don't know how it's going to go.
100:10But Aaron Glenn's now calling the defense, which is a positive.
100:14And they've just added some people. I mean, their front is arguably like a top 10 front in football.
100:20Tavondra Sweat was a really nice trade they made to go acquire and show up that defensive line.
100:26So, Jets might be a sneaky play here to just round out our defenses and to take one more.
100:33And, yeah, so that's my bowl case for the Jets, which sounds crazy to say out loud.
100:39But I think their defense could be a little bit better than people expect this year.
100:44Yeah, not for nothing. It is still Aaron Glenn.
100:47And maybe another year there's competency there from the New York Jets, which, as you said, sounds crazy.
100:53We did have one question in the chat. Dowdle, Monongai, Washington, Brooks, and Rodriguez are on the bench.
100:59They're asking, should I trade Brooks and Rodriguez for Christian Watson?
101:03Without knowing the format, I'm just going to say shoot for the upside with Christian Watson.
101:09Go and get him. Package up Brooks and Rodriguez.
101:12They're no sure thing. We're seeing some signs of Chuba Hubbard.
101:15I think Chuba Hubbard is going to be more of a thorn in the side of Jonathan Brooks, rightly so.
101:22And as much as I have a fade on Chuba Hubbard, I do think there's limit of the ceiling.
101:29These could both be two floor plays in Brooks and Chuba Hubbard.
101:33And Rodriguez, who is still a lottery ticket, if you don't want that headache again, Christian Watson, I think the opportunity for
101:40him to be a wide receiver won this year.
101:43Try and pry Christian Watson off of that person.
101:46I'll be interested to see, do you have a good wide receiver room?
101:51And I like what you did by getting, you know, Dowdle, all those guys on the bench.
101:57If Dowdle's on your bench already and Monongai to lead, you're already doing the right thing by having a bunch of high upside running backs and good cuffs.
102:06So good play there. I say go for Christian Watson.
102:10What would you say, Pete? Yeah, I'm good with that too.
102:13Just, you know, with those guys on your bench, I mean, trading depth like that, there's not much to say here.
102:20It's a, it's a very easy trade to make.
102:23You always, if you can, if you can take depth and turn it into a starter, especially one that has that kind
102:31of upside like Watson, you're not really thinking much of it.
102:35So yeah, I would totally do that. Good, good with that.
102:38Cooper Cup, by the way, goes off the board right after us.
102:43So that was kind of a, kind of a frustrating pick.
102:46I, we, we probably pushed it a little too far, but it's okay.
102:51I took the Broncos team kickers. So we are good on team kickers now, Jay.
102:56I, you know, I believe that puts us, let me take a look here.
103:01Just take a look and make sure team kickers.
103:04Yeah. We're at three kickers. We could still take a defense.
103:07We're at two right now. I don't mind just taking the jets defense here at the end, just to finish that up
103:15and make sure we don't got to worry. So we've got three defense, three kickers, and then just kind of rounding things out.
103:23So as for our team, let me show the roster grid here real quick.
103:28Give you a little bit of a better view.
103:31Quarterbacks wise, Dak, press that Sam Darnold, Fernando Mendoza.
103:34Running back, we got Brees Hall, Jardarian Price, Trevon Henderson, Colin Minunga, Isaiah Pacheco.
103:38Wide receiver, we got Puka Nakua, George Pickens, DJ Moore, Casey Concepcion, Makai Lemon, Jordan Tyson, Ryan Flournoy, and Isaac Tesla.
103:46I love this. This wide receiver room is absolutely bonkers.
103:49We really crushed it there in a format that values receivers heavily.
103:53We did a really good job there. Kyle Pitts at tight end with Aranda Gadsden.
103:58And then with the kickers, we get the Bucs, we get the Saints, we get the Broncos, offenses that I think will
104:06be in the top 15 for scoring. And then defense-wise, we get the Minnesota Vikings and the Ravens.
104:12Overall, really like this build so far, Jay. We are on the clock here.
104:17Do you want to just go ahead and just take the Jets defense?
104:21Because there's only four left. So I think it makes sense, right?
104:25Yeah, you do that. And then, I mean, this isn't like this tracutery board of options for skilled position players.
104:32It is getting late early, but late, late in round 24.
104:36So we're going to have, what, six more picks left.
104:39I think you just, hey, put it down. We've got our defenses.
104:43We have our kickers. And here's my question. To the three quarterback build that we have, do you feel any need to
104:51get any kind of backfill quarterback for somebody like a Mac Jones who could kind of ascend from an injury?
104:58An Anthony Richardson. Are there any players out there, Tyson Badgent?
105:01Any quarterbacks where you'd say, hey, why don't we just put them instead of wide receiver who we think might just hit one time if we're lucky?
105:10Or do you feel good with three quarterbacks? Yeah, I don't mind going with another quarterback if we want to.
105:17I think we have some time, but there's some backup quarterbacks that we can absolutely target.
105:23Jameis Winston is now interesting. He signs that extension with the Giants.
105:27Obviously, Mac Jones is there. So I think we can probably still wait a little bit on quarterback.
105:33Maybe see what's there. If we don't love the board as it comes back to us today, like totally fine.
105:40Interesting players that are left. Travis Hunter is still available.
105:43I've been very vocal about my feelings on Hunter as a fantasy asset for redraft.
105:48As for best ball, I think he's a top 200 player.
105:52So him being here still on the board at 288.
105:55I know a lot of people are spooked, Jay, about the usage in joint practices and him playing predominantly on defense and
106:03not getting a ton of wide receiver snaps. I think risk reward here makes a ton of sense for a guy like Travis Hunter.
106:11So I'm going to cue him as a possible option.
106:15Your boy Jack Besch is available. We can go the tight end route, you know, and Michael Mayer is still available.
106:22I know we talked about him. I think I'd rather cue him ahead of Hunter since our receivers are so good, Jay,
106:29just to make sure we don't miss out. And then Mason Taylor is interesting, too.
106:34I think Mason Taylor is going to be involved, Jay.
106:38I think he's going to have some weeks with Sadiq Hurt.
106:41I was a huge fan of Mason Taylor last year.
106:45I don't think he's just going to go away.
106:48So I think Taylor is also a possibility for us as well.
106:52Well, when I look at the structure, height, weight, build, frame, and I see Kenyon Sadiq, I think, man, that's like the Jonathan Taylor of tight ends.
107:01But funny enough, when I was watching some of LSU with Mason Taylor and I'd watch him and I think, you know,
107:09this guy kind of reminds me frame wise, his physical stature, Tucker Craft.
107:13So he's white. Well, yeah, but I'm talking about like actual musculature.
107:17Like there's a difference between like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons and somebody like Tucker Craft.
107:23But I follow what you're saying and what you're putting down.
107:26Yeah, I think you pattern match his wife. Well, anyways, with your argument with, hey, if Sadiq is out, Mason Taylor, it's just prime opportunity with Geno Smith.
107:36I think that's a sneakier part there, too, is you by not mentioning it, you were alluding to it, though.
107:43So Geno Smith, the competency, my God, the fact that we're getting Geno Smith is like it's just so incredible.
107:50And who would have ever thought that? My hot take for the New York Jets is that we're going to wish next year.
107:57We're not going to want anything of Geno Smith, Pete.
108:01We're not going to want him on our dynasty rosters.
108:04You're not going to want him on your best balls.
108:08Any kind of redraft, not in your lineup. But you want him to be the Jets quarterback because he is going to
108:15feature and feast with Garrett Wilson and Brees Hall, maybe a little bit of Adonai Mitchell and ascending into next year.
108:22Kenyon Sadiq. They'll be prime, though, based on we're watching college football just this first weekend.
108:28Shy of there was a couple of games last weekend.
108:31All these great quarterbacks, you know, somebody like Trinidad, Chambliss.
108:35There's a whole lot good going on. Darian Mensah.
108:38So I sit there and think I want we're going to want Geno Smith, even though change is just a sure thing.
108:45We're not going to get that. But I think that's going to be the sentiment and the feeling.
108:51So speaking to that, Jets players are going to hit this year, I think, in a very good way.
108:58So if Mason Taylor is there and out of the way, I think that's a decent pick.
109:04OK, I like that. Well, I mean, I think that a long winded answer to say that Geno Smith is going to
109:11be competent enough to help our fantasy assets. Maybe not be the sexiest guy on the field for football.
109:18Maybe not the sexiest guy to own in Dynasty or in redraft.
109:22But he's going to do enough to keep its offense afloat and make sure that these players are valuable for fantasy.
109:29We did get Michael Mayer. I did take him off the board there.
109:33So we do get the print in a Mendoza Michael Mayer stack.
109:37Our stacks aren't oozing right now. It's not like, holy crap.
109:41Like we really, really were able to get go super deep on stacks.
109:45But it's fine. I mean, we don't force stacks.
109:49We talk about it all the time. Like we don't force stacks, but we get stacks.
109:54Right. And that's important. You know, stacks right now is is is George Pickens, Dak Prescott and Ryan Florinoy.
110:00We also have the Sam Darnold with Jardarian Price.
110:04We don't have a wide receiver with Darnold. We a Royal went off the board.
110:09So we missed him and we missed Cooper Cup.
110:12But we do have Fernando Mendoza with the Michael Mayer stack.
110:15I do think Mary is going to be pretty decent this year.
110:20So, I mean, we can hunt for a stack, but it's just not going to be pretty, you know, really with Seattle.
110:27You know, it is not there's just not much there.
110:30I mean, you're really looking at maybe, you know, dumpster diving in the Raiders territory and looking for something there, Jay, because there's not really too much.
110:40I'd rather dumpster dive towards the Raiders in a stack that we could potentially have versus forcing something with the CLC Hawks.
110:47OK, well, Travis Hunter is on the board. We also have Jack Best on the board as well.
110:53I know we want the stack, but it's so hard not to just take Travis Hunter here.
110:59I mean, we're talking about pick 305, dude. Yeah.
111:02If Jack Best somehow isn't there in round 27, we'll find a way to live, Pete.
111:08So, yeah. Yeah. I hope so. We still have Torrey Horton on the board, too.
111:13I'm a big Torrey Horton guy, Jay. I think you like him a lot as well.
111:18He's just dealt with these injuries lately, man. And I don't know what's going on.
111:23Caleb Johnson was available, too. So that's a pretty nice pick.
111:27But, you know, maybe we go with Torrey Horton on the backswing, too, if not Jack Best.
111:33So I'm good with that. I do want to grab Big Noggins' question.
111:37He said he's in a 12-team super flex PPR start nine.
111:41He got offered T. Higgins and Malik Willis for Malik – for Justin Herbert.
111:46Should he take it? I would. I know people are high on Malik Willis, Jay.
111:51I think he could be okay for fantasy. And you're giving up T.
111:55Higgins. But to me, it's super flex. You're getting Justin Herbert.
111:59This is probably your number two quarterback. Or else you would have probably told us, hey, Malik Willis is my starter.
112:06So I'm assuming Herbert's going to be your number two.
112:10Maybe even your number one, which is still fine.
112:13I would make this deal on a super flex.
112:16Yeah, in a heartbeat. Because you probably – especially if this is – look, if this is redraft, you still do it.
112:23If this is Dynasty, you've got Malik Willis for free.
112:27Absolutely. And you're just kind of dangling out somebody like a T.
112:31Higgins who – Oh, they've got May as one.
112:34Yeah, you're about to have quite possibly two top five quarterbacks.
112:38Yes, in Dynasty, great. This just keeps getting better.
112:41Yeah, elite move. Higgins is also getting – Higgins is getting older.
112:45I mean, you probably – if you're thinking about moving Higgins, he's probably your wide receiver for – I would bet.
112:52Yeah, smash the button now before this person comes to their senses.
112:56Highway robbery. And you probably – going back to – because he did confirm Dynasty.
113:01Yeah. Malik Willis was probably just like a nothing burger cost.
113:05So – Yeah. Oh, my God. Like, I'm elated for you.
113:09I just wish I could get blessed with something like that.
113:12If it were on Trade Gods, we'd be elated saying how good it is.
113:17But here on First Class Fantasy, I think Pete and I, we both agree.
113:22Pete, Mac Jones goes. But you did mention – okay, Caleb Johnson goes off the board.
113:27Are there any amount of – because we have four picks left.
113:31Any amount of running backs that you want to stow away who you think are high upside that are left, who could
113:39just be an injury or two away that you think are viable and worth stashing away in these last four picks?
113:46Yeah. Seth McGowan's still on the board here. We talked about Chris Brooks.
113:50There's a world where it shakes out where Chris Brooks ends up being the number two here over Caleb Johnson with Marshawn
113:58Lloyd and being in somewhat of a decent split.
114:01But Ollie Gordon's available. I know they talked about Jalen Wright, the number two.
114:06He won that role. I'll believe it when I see it.
114:10You know, when push comes to shove, if A-Chain does miss time, I still confidently feel like Ollie Gordon's going to be the guy to own.
114:18But we shall see. Other running backs, Jaden Blue.
114:22Obviously, Jaden Blue bag holders are sick these days because he's now a Philadelphia Eagle.
114:27And those Dallas Cowboy bags are heavy for some people.
114:30Not for me because I did not want Jaden Blue and I drafted a ton of Javante Williams.
114:36But I feel for those other people. Taj Brooks, kind of interesting.
114:40Late J. Taj Brooks, I mean, you know, I think P.
114:44Ryan's still the number two. But, you know, P.
114:47Ryan's also an older veteran. There's a world where he gets thrusted in.
114:51Roshon Johnson's somehow still hanging around on the Bears.
114:55He might be a possibility. I talked about Audra Guestime.
114:58You know, we've talked about, you know, who's the number two there.
115:02I think Kendrick Miller now. You know, he's still available.
115:05Kamara's out for a month. Devin Neal is no longer in the equation.
115:10So, really, like, who is the number two there?
115:13It might actually be Kendrick Miller. I thought it was Audra Guestime.
115:17I know a lot of people are saying now it's not.
115:21But we shall see. But those are some guys to just maybe take some swings on later on.
115:27And we are on the board here, though. Tori Horton's available.
115:31I'm good with maybe just grabbing him, Jay, and the possibility that he ends up being the guy that we thought he could be.
115:39Christian Kirk's available. Chimera and DK, no one seems to really want DK.
115:43Everyone still thinks IU Manners, the guy to own.
115:46Jay, what are your thoughts on DK? Hey, he popped and showed something in a dogshit awful year for the Titans.
115:54He showed flashes. So, if you can show some talent and potential there, and you add in Wandale Robinson, you add in Carnell Tate, I think it's twofold.
116:03Because when the optimism three months ago was, hey, Cam Ward is going to make a jump.
116:09You've added the talent with Dayball in Wandale Robinson and first round draft capital in Carnell Tate.
116:15You're sitting there thinking, okay, the jump and the elevation is going to happen.
116:19And people were just saying, all right, A-Manner, DK, but more so DK.
116:24Oh, not going to be worth it. Going to be buried, right?
116:28Now, because of how bad it's looked in the preseason for the Titans offense, I'll tell you, from a defense streaming option, I'm going to look.
116:37Oh, is this team playing the Tennessee Titans? Are they 50% less rostered in leagues?
116:42Sign me up. Like, go attack bad offenses or bad quarterbacks.
116:46And in this case, Cam Ward is still developing.
116:49So, now I think the bias is it's moved down even more for Tremere DK because of how bad it's presented for the Titans offense with Cam Ward.
116:58So, it was bad before. Now, it seems to be getting worse.
117:02Seth McGowan goes on you. DJ Giddens, Chris Brooks.
117:05I did see Oli Gordon. Was he still on the board?
117:09He may still be worth it. It's not sexy, but he's at least a viable name that's out there.
117:16Yeah. Oli Gordon's available. James Conner's available. Quint Allen.
117:19Quarterback-wise, you know, Jameis Quinton's there. JJ McCarthy. Ty Simpson.
117:22You know, we have three quarterbacks. Ooh, Ty Simpson.
117:25Because you started the draft with Puka Nakua. I think that's...
117:29That's cool. I would try that. Yeah. Such a long draft, we forgot we started off with Puka Nakua.
117:35Yeah. I mean, look, it's going to be pretty tough if Stafford misses time in general.
117:41But Simpson looks solid. And, you know, at this point, like, it's totally, totally fine taking it.
117:47At least we would get some sort of stack with him and Puka.
117:51So, yeah, I'm good with that. In terms of the running backs that we talked about, you know, it's Oli Gordon.
117:58It's the Quinn Allen. It's Kendra Miller. It's Taj Brooks.
118:02This is the world that we're living in right now.
118:05Trevor Etienne. I know a lot of people like Trevor Etienne.
118:09Sion Vaki is there. I wonder if the Sailors guy is there, if he went.
118:14But, yeah, he's gone. That Jacob Saylor guy. Isaiah Davis is there.
118:18Not really. Don't really care too much for him.
118:21Yeah. I mean, that's really it. But let's take one more quick break.
118:26We will take a break. We'll come back. If you have any other questions, throw them in the chat.
118:32We've got two more rounds to go. And then we will wrap this up as our final draft here at Player Profiler
118:39for the season comes to an end. The NFFC, my favorite high-stakes fantasy platform.
118:44Why? Third round reversal. Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation.
118:47So it's a lottery-based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft.
118:53It's full PPR. There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
118:59And now they've combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
119:04In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
119:09And if you win that, $300,000. You can also join the Circo World Championship.
119:14And that's $200,000. You win both. You win a million dollars.
119:18So go to playNFFC.com slash profiler. And check the show description for a number of promo codes you can use.
119:25First Time 100 to get $100 when you sign up.
119:28But also, every time you sign up for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
119:37Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
119:41We are proudly supported by Nathan & Sons, makers of Underbrush Remineralizing Gum.
119:46The Nathan & Sons folks sent me some of this gum.
119:50And when you taste it, it's like, oh, this is what real flavor tastes like.
119:55It just didn't feel fake. It had a texture and a taste of what real gum should be.
120:01Because I've tried other natural gums. And the flavor does not pop like it does with Nathan & Sons.
120:07And the flavor doesn't last. My favorite flavor is Cinemastic.
120:11I also feel like my jaw's in better shape.
120:14Not doing as much clenching with my teeth. And what's funny is it's made with hydroxyapatite.
120:19The same mineral your tooth enamel is made from.
120:22And the best part is the chewing gum that helps take care of your teeth in between brushing.
120:29And critically, there is no plastic in this gum.
120:32It's made from natural tree sap. And if you want a simple daily upgrade for your teeth, head over to NathanAndSons.com and check out Underbrush.
120:40And get 30% off your first order. NathanAndSons.com to get 30% off.
120:44Every game day, you show up for your team.
120:47Now, it's your time. Ask your prescriber about WeGovi.

120:57Why wait? All right, we are back. Someone said, I've been baffled by Williams River London.
121:03My brain hurts. Yeah, London's been falling all day as one of our guys in the chat talked who drafts a lot in NFFC high stakes.
121:12The news with Rua, Jay, I guess, spooked some people.
121:15But I think he's kind of going where I think he should go, which is like early to mid third round.
121:22I don't know that I would go with Javante over him.
121:26But yeah. Well, that tracks Pete because you have one of the hot takes that have been going out for all player profiler.
121:34The one that you had, Pete, was if I recall correctly, Drake London finishes outside of the top 12.
121:40Now, you, I got to give credit because you had this take before the Tua news, before it was officially official.
121:48And I think most people still think that it's going to end up being Michael Penix.
121:53So beforehand, before it was seemingly going to be Tua, you had had this thought.
121:58Does this make it even more firm where you're like, yeah, I'm feeling very good, at least wide receiver 13 or less
122:06and not paying off at the prospective price ADP, Drake London?
122:09Yeah, I'm fine with it. I mean, there's, there's a lot that has to go right with this offense to me.
122:17You know, I know London's produced with some bad quarterback play.
122:20So it's not necessarily that I worry, but he's dealt with some injuries a little bit too.
122:26The offensive line is old and they're dealing with some injuries as well.
122:31So there's a couple of different factors. I like Drake London.
122:34It's not really that. I just, I prefer other players in his range that I think have a higher ceiling this year.
122:42That's really what it comes down to. That's how I try to assess players when I'm drafting is, you know, I try
122:49to just say like, what is the ceiling outcome for them?
122:53And Drake London has a ton of ceiling in general, just as due to his talent.
122:58But the probability of him being a top five receiver, I don't see happening.
123:03You know, I see Chris Olave having a better chance of being a top five receiver.
123:09Now that Jordan Tyson's hurt. You know, I see Nico Collins now that the, the injury to Jane Higgins, that changes things a lot.
123:17So I just find that there's guys around him that I prefer to take and prefer to draft that are in better offenses or better situations.
123:26It's scary though. I mean, it's the same thing as Dallas Cowboys in some ends.
123:31Like I like, I mean, not Dallas Cowboys, the Chicago bears, like Chicago bears are in this massive echo chamber, not just
123:38in fantasy football, but just in the media in general, where Jay, everybody thinks the Chicago bears offense and team is just
123:46going to be so good this year. And I feel like it's a microcosm of just people being afraid to look stupid,
123:53betting against Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams and this offense, Jay.
123:57And I feel like you could maybe make the case of, for me with, with Drake London, like I'm betting against London,
124:05but I do have some concerns and talents there.
124:08But I'm willing to put myself out there and say like, there's, there's a world where I do see him not finishing top 12.
124:16So I don't know. I just, I just, like I said, a long winded answer.
124:21I just prefer guys that go around it. Well, this kind of brings up a good point though.
124:27So in fantasy football, it is so easy, so simple.
124:30There's many analysts who they'll just give you blanket, bullish statements about players in every round and every range of ADP.
124:38And you'll never hear about them being bearish on players.
124:41So then they come back later on X. Hey, I was high on this player.
124:46You know, you should have listened to me. And to go against the grain, to be bearish, you're making a little bit
124:54of a bet because you have circumstances that come up.
124:57You can cite some stats, how you want. At the same time, this is a league where if you get opportunity, your talent can show and display.
125:06So you're more at risk getting burned when you have a fade on a player.
125:11So having a fade, especially at, at that height, we've talked about Justin Jefferson versus AJ Brown and fading one versus the
125:19other, where if you take AJ Brown and you fade Justin Jefferson, you're risking, oh, Justin Jefferson being his old self in burning you on that pick.
125:28But then again, if you're wholly right about the Drake May and AJ Brown connection, then you were just like astute and right to it and sharp.
125:37But people don't want to hear any kind of bearishness for, especially those top couple rounds.
125:43So when you... Yeah, people don't want to take the chance.
125:46Like I got, I got a, I have zero Devon H.
125:50game this year. Zero. Zero. Maybe a little bit of best ball, like underdog, low stakes, like volume play to get some exposure.
125:58I have no Devon H. in any of my leagues.
126:01I play in, if you count the high stakes, you know, I play in about 13 to 15 leagues.
126:08I think maybe a little bit more managed leagues.
126:11And I have zero Devon H. in day. I literally have no Devon H.
126:16in. Is it scary to not own Devon H?
126:19In? Absolutely. Am I sitting here with a hard stance of, I don't own Devon.
126:24Like, I don't want any Devon H. No, but I just like guys that go around him.
126:30So he's became a fade for me. And like you said, there's some people that really, like you see a lot of
126:37people that they draft to everybody because they just want exposure to everybody.
126:42But not everybody is drafting 12, 15, 20, 25 teams.
126:45Like people that want to listen to your insight, they want to know, hey, like if this was, you could only draft one team, who would you take?
126:55Right. And sometimes we forget that because we all draft so many teams.
126:59So people just can't be bearish on anybody because it's like people like everybody.
127:04So, yeah. We have in the chat here, what a bezzy 8894 says, I'm thinking of trading CMC for Javante and Devon Smith.
127:12I personally wouldn't. I'd take the shorty of CMC.
127:15I think it's a dangled trade where there would be some people who would bite for it if they had CMC.
127:22But I'm personally just going to ship it with CMC.
127:25You're risking too much with Javante. I know what the argument is.
127:29You can get enough war value off of Javante eating into CMC, and then you get a Devonta Smith, JSM like season.
127:37That's a lot to happen when you could just have Christian McCaffrey, who's just a receiver and a running back all cut into one.
127:45And he's hitting your RB1 spot and just crushing for you.
127:49Could you have some risk? Sure. In the event of injury.
127:53But when we're talking about talent, play, fancy output, give me Christian McCaffrey every single time.
127:58Look, what a BZ. No offense. You drafted Christian McCaffrey with your chest.
128:02How are you going to back out now before the season starts because of the reporting this week?
128:09To me, it's like you drafted McCaffrey for a reason.
128:12You know the risk. You're drafting McCaffrey. You know the risk when you drafted him.
128:17So to trade him for Javante and Devonta Smith, they're good players too.
128:22But you're giving up. If you drafted McCaffrey, Jay, right?
128:25You drafted McCreary saying this guy, if he's healthy, is a top five player in fantasy football.
128:31Okay? You made that bet. Knowing everything we've heard all offseason about the, you know, especially the last couple weeks with McCaffrey, the potential injury, tightness, whatever, right?
128:40This report this week alone should not make you move off of your foundation of you drafted McCaffrey for a reason.
128:47So I'm not doing that. He said it was an auction draft.
128:52It's got Lamar, CMC, Chase Brown, AJ Brown, Parker, Washington are my studs.
128:56It's a good team. Stick with CMC. If he's healthy, that's going to be a good team.
129:02I can definitely tell you that. And yeah, let's read off our team really quick here before we get out of here, Jay.
129:10We go with Puka Nakua. Actually, let me just get the roster grid.
129:14We go with quarterbacks. Jay, Dak Prescott, Sam Darnold, Fernando Mendoza, Ty Simpson.
129:18You know, we got sniped on a couple of stacks here, but still feel good about it.
129:24Breeze Hall, Chargerian Price, Trevion Henderson, Kyle Minunga, Isaiah Pacheco, Ollie Gordon.
129:28You know, still really good talent. We got some great value on Trevion Henderson and Kyle Minunga.
129:34And I felt good about Pacheco's value. A wide receiver, Puka Nakua, George Pickens, DJ Moore, Pencepcion, Makai Lemon, Jordan Tyson, Ryan
129:42Florinoy, Isaac Tesla, Travis Hunter, Torrey Horton. Probably one of the best wide receiver groups we've taken in this format this year.
129:49Kyle Pitts, Rondé Gadsden, Michael Mayer, Black Earth, Jay.
129:52I took him with our last pick. I know it sounds weird.
129:56Rumblings sounds like once week one is over, Zachary will be a Philadelphia Eagle from what I've read and from what I've heard.
130:04So I took Zachary there. Who knows, right? Like who knows?
130:08Just taking him, took him. We needed a tight end.
130:11Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker, Saints kicker, Denver Broncos kicker, defense, Minnesota Vikings, Ravens, New York Jets.
130:17It's probably one of my favorite teams that we drafted so far.
130:21So a nice way to close out the draft season for both of us.
130:26I don't know if you have any drafts left, Jay.
130:29Is this your final one or do you have anything else?
130:33This is the last one. And my God, it feels it sounds crazy.
130:37And I think you'll follow me on this. But I'm sick of drafting only for the fact that I'm ready to have
130:45these teams hit and just have games play and get results and look at the rosters, check in on the teams, see how they're doing in all formats.
130:54See the best ball where they're ranked. See your managed redraft leagues where you're with your home league buddies, probably some of your closest friends, right?
131:03Family. And then dynasty leagues. Just a grind of we've been doing this since January, right?
131:09Like the turn of the Super Bowl or rookie Senior Bowl season where there's still the playoffs are going on, Pete.
131:16Like we've been at this shit all the way.
131:19And it's just cool. I always we always it happens to me where you get towards the end of the season and
131:26you're like, oh, I'm excited for prospect season. Well, now, as we're at the end of this, I'm so excited for look,
131:34two days from now, we have real football games.
131:37So it's not as much that I'm tired of drafting, but it's just that I'm so ready to just like have it.
131:44And I know you love redraft. You love just the game coming back.
131:49And this is the offseason is fun. But man, the day to day grind of waiver wires listening for what's going to
131:56be Monday, the reaction of what happened. Your bets hitting or not hitting.
132:01You run hot and all your teams win or that high upside cuff that you have stashed everywhere is going to be the starter next week.
132:09Like you have all these little elation points. I'm just ready for it.
132:14So, yeah. Pete, you all done, too? Yeah, I'm done.
132:17And just as a reminder, Jay and myself, we will be back on Thursday for the ranking show leading up to kickoff on Thursday Night Football.
132:26We will be doing that show every single week this year.
132:30I will be live on Tuesday morning. That's 7 a.m.
132:33Eastern Standard Time for the waiver wired show. I will do that live.
132:38It'll also get uploaded to audio side as well.
132:41Jay, why don't you remind the audience what you're doing in season as well?
132:46And then we can wrap it up. Yeah. On Sunday nights, I'm going to get out and it should be up there at least by Monday.
132:54The kickers and defense is streaming, which we talked a lot about strategy during this draft.
133:00Thursday night is going to be there with Pete live.
133:03So I'd be happy to see everybody. And then on the FFD, it's on the player profiler feed.
133:09Pete, Shev and I are going to have a waiver wire show that we drop Monday.
133:15And then we're going to have like hot takes, fades and plays for all the position players heading into your week.
133:22So a whole lot of fun. And then God knows there's all sorts of other shows that come up along the way.
133:30All different projects that we end up with, Pete.
133:33So stay tuned. If it's player profiler, you're going to see myself and Pete.
