Alvin Kamara

PositiveValue0:19

Used as an example in discussion of bulk trade features on OTC FFB tool; no specific fantasy outlook provided.

Insight page
PositiveValue19:00

Alvin Kamara is used as an example of a player the speaker owns in multiple leagues and wants to trade, highlighting the challenge of managing assets across many rosters.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveBreakout0:26

Amon Ra St. Brown was a rising asset after his rookie year but not yet a top-12 dynasty receiver; he was ranked around WR31 in July 2022 but has since become a premium asset, demonstrating the value of holding through early uncertainty.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeRole0:36

Brian Thomas Jr. is still on the Jaguars roster and will compete with other receivers for targets, limiting Travis Hunter's opportunity; BTJ remains a factor in the passing game.

Insight page
NegativeBust0:37

Brian Thomas Jr. was a top-six dynasty wide receiver last year but is viewed as an obvious sell due to expensive valuation relative to his ceiling; he was outscored by Parker Washington last year, suggesting diminished upside.

Insight page

Carson Beck

PositiveProjection0:30

Carson Beck is compared to Tyler Shook as a young QB prospect with uncertain NFL outlook; described as having an unconventional appearance.

Insight page
PositiveValue8:00

Carson Beck is positioned as a superior pick to Jeremy Bernard in rookie drafts, with the speaker willing to take him as early as pick 112 for his potential to start NFL games.

Insight page

Chase Claypool

NegativeBust0:27

Chase Claypool was ranked ahead of Amon Ra St. Brown in July 2022 (around WR25) despite being offered in a straight-up trade for Amon Ra, but has since underperformed relative to that valuation.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeBust7:00

Chris Bell is noted as an overrated rookie wide receiver despite being liked by many, with the speaker avoiding him in favor of running backs and quarterbacks in rookie drafts.

Insight page

Davis Mills

PositiveRole0:35

Davis Mills received one year as a starter and is now part of the backup circuit, considered one of the better backups in the league; used as a comparable for Tyler Shook's trajectory.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection0:25

Drake May has risen 40 spots in ADP year-over-year, moving from late second/early third round last year to pick one or pick two in current rankings.

Insight page

Elijah Sarratt

PositiveProjection9:00

Elijah Surratt is mentioned as a possible late-round contributor in rookie drafts, though with minimal upside expectations.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveBreakout0:26

Harold Fannin was one of the biggest risers last year, drafted as a third-round rookie pick who finished as a top-10 tight end due to receiving volume at the position.

Insight page

Malachi Fields

NegativeBust10:00

Malachi Fields, the Giants wide receiver, is highlighted as a risky late-round pick who became a game day inactive in week one despite draft hype.

Insight page

Malik Washington

NegativeRole4:12

Malik Washington, the wide receiver one in Miami, has potential roster clogger written all over him, suggesting limited upside despite his depth chart position.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveBreakout0:36

Parker Washington has emerged as a real, solid receiver for the Jaguars, likely a top-40 receiver in the NFL; he is competing for targets with Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

NegativeBust5:30

Rashad Bateman is described as a roster clogger despite being a starter, with the speaker noting he spent significant draft capital on him but never plays him productively.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveValue0:39

Rhamondre Stevenson is preferred over Travis Hunter in a one-for-one trade comparison, suggesting he has more established value and role security than the injured Hunter.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

NegativeBust0:26

Travis Hunter is now considered a 'Dynasty doo-doo' after being a controversial high pick last year; he has fallen significantly in value and is now available in the 10th-11th round of redrafts.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:36

Travis Hunter suffered an injury that limited his recent playing time; his last significant fantasy game was before the injury occurred.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:36

There is concern that Travis Hunter may be used more on defense going forward, which would be catastrophic for his fantasy value; coach speak suggests potential defensive role expansion.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:36

Travis Hunter has potential to rise significantly in value; he is currently available in the 10th-11th round of redrafts despite being the second overall pick in the NFL draft, representing suppressed value with upside if he gets playing time.

Insight page

Ty Simpson

PositiveValue11:00

Ty Simpson is positioned as a valuable late-round pick equivalent to a 28th first-round pick, useful for trading to contenders in need of a quarterback.

Insight page

Wan'Dale Robinson

PositiveBreakout5:00

Wondale Robinson's emergence is cited as a rare success story, implying his breakout is an outlier compared to typical wide receiver depth chart outcomes.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveValue0:39

Zach Charbonnet is offered as a one-for-one trade comparison for Travis Hunter; most would not take Charbonnet straight up for Hunter, though the evaluation changes if Charbonnet is healthy and starting week one.

0:00Hello and welcome to Undrafted, a Dynasty Game Theory Podcast brought to you by OTC Fantasy.
0:05I am your host, Scott Belanger, aka Jax Falcone.
0:07You can find me on Twitter at DinoGameTheory. This is episode number 248.
0:11Let's roll. And I've been doing a lot of thinking.
0:14I've had a lot of time to do a lot of thinking because I haven't done this show in so long.
0:20It's been weeks. I'm so sorry, people. I'm so, so sorry.
0:23But we're back on the airwaves. And for those of you new listeners, we're going to hit a lot of cool stuff.
0:29But today joining me is Jax Falcone between two ferns.
0:32No, no, I see a fern back there. But we're joined by the great Alan Soslowski from Rotowire.
0:37Mr. Alan Soslowski, welcome back to the program. Why so long in between shows?
0:41Laziness. Laziness. Okay. All right. Well, it's funny. You're coming on the SiriusXM show as a co-host to do the Dynasty show.
0:48And they, you know, they asked me, they say, because I just type in your name as the guest into the sheet.
0:54And they say, is it Falcone or Falcone A?
0:57Right? And I'm just, I know you get that all the time.
1:00So I, so how I answered, tell me if this is how you answer.
1:04I said, it's Falcone like ice cream cone. Yes.
1:07Yeah. Yes. It seems like the easiest way to do it.
1:10Yeah. And it's a fake name. So really whatever you want to do is, is totally open.
1:15You know, Theo famously calls me Falcone, which is, you know, endearing as all get out.
1:19And I love that man. So. Yeah. Did you, do your listeners know that the Jax Falcone origin story?
1:25I mean, I don't even know if I know the Jax Falcone origin story, so it'd be impossible for them to know anything.
1:31Okay. All right. I mean, is there, is, is there an elevator pitch?
1:35Like, is there a two line? It's not that good.
1:38It's really, honestly, it's simple was I was, I was on Twitter and I was not looking to, ironically, was not looking to gain any attention on Twitter.
1:46And so I was just trying to get in.
1:49It is, it's quite ironic that that's the guy who was like, Hey, everybody's like, I like this guy.
1:54Yeah. You know, but seriously, I was like, just trying to fly under the radar.
1:58I didn't want to be, you know, anybody. I was just trying to figure out information way back in the day.
2:04And then I did get some attention. And then I was like, well, if I'm going to get some attention, I ought to change it back to Scott.
2:12And everybody was like, where the fuck did Jax go?
2:15I'm like, all right, fine. You guys can have Jax.
2:18He's cool. You were branded. Yeah. That was it.
2:21Yeah. No, you were branded. That was it. And it's a good, it's a cool name, right?
2:26It's a cool name. Cause obviously when I, when I put it into like the producers and I said that they go, Oh, is that his real name?
2:34I said, yes. I just told him yes. Right.
2:36Great. That's fantastic. That's great. And like I said, people, you know, will call me Scott.
2:41People will call me Jax. I'm cool either way.
2:43I think, you know, as long as it's, you know, with a respectful tone, then I guess what am I worried about?
2:50Right. Yeah. No, it's a cool name. It's not.
2:52Yeah, no, I'm with it. So, so, um, I've been thinking, I've been thinking a little bit about, you know, we're going
2:59to talk about a lot of cool stuff today.
3:01We got a lot on the show sheet, but I was thinking just, you know, it's been a little while at startup season.
3:08I just wanted to sort of tell the people and I'm going to take two minutes and just remind the dynasty people
3:14to be thinking in terms of roster construction. I just was having this sort of daydream and I didn't put on the
3:20show sheet, but it's like, golly, you know, I, we go through show after show and we do different topics.
3:26And, but this is the most like important thing to understand because having a defined understanding of what you want to do
3:33with roster construction in a given dynasty league will sort of lead you to other decisions.
3:37When to draft this position. Honestly, I was thinking even it's never too late to start to fix roster construction when it comes into a dynasty league.
3:45If you've been in a league for 10 years and the light comes on today, it's okay.
3:50You can start making moves that will optimize your roster construction in a given league.
3:54And, you know, I know my friend and, and, um, you know, our contemporaries over, over at DD fantasy, Scott Connor talks
4:00about it all the time, but it just can't be overstated.
4:04And so I just, you know, I don't know if you have anything to say about that, but I just want to
4:10remind the new listeners and the old listeners to, to think about what that means.
4:14And if you don't know what I just said, think even harder about it.
4:18Well, let's go with this. Cause this is the question that I would want to know if I was listening.
4:24Why do you think it's the most important thing?
4:26Cause I think it's the only edge left in fantasy.
4:29True. Yeah. I mean, well, I think because, you know, you've heard the term roster cloggers.
4:34And when you think of like, what the hell is a roster clogger?
4:38Well, it's a player that you roster that has almost 0% chance of ever entering your lineup, but yet is taking up a value slot.
4:45And has no purpose, has no purpose on your roster.
4:48You know, a backup wide receiver who, I mean, there's so many of these guys.
4:52I'll give you an example right now. Malik Washington is the wide receiver one Miami.
4:56He has potential roster clogger written all over him.
4:59Yeah. I mean, you know, I suppose there's the, the, the thing with Malik Washington is that actually rostering him does have
5:05a little bit of purpose in that. If he gets on the field and does something, you can maybe sell on an
5:12up, you can sell on a spike, but there's, there's, there's guys who are like the fourth or fifth wide receiver, you
5:18know, a pop Douglas, you know, players like that, you know, I mean, and I'm just mentioning him.
5:23I don't, there's probably even shallower ones like he's a bit deep, but he's been on rosters for forever.
5:29And it's really, I've had him on rosters where I'm like, God, if he could man the slot and get in there, he'd be fine.
5:36And would he, I mean, could he ever even dream of being Wondale Robinson?
5:40Probably, probably not, you know, and the Wondale Robinson run out for Wondale Robinson is rare.
5:44Yeah. I have like Rashad Bateman sitting on like every roster and you know, when I spent the one Oh seven or
5:51nine on him in drafts and it's like, never play him.
5:54Anytime I do, he sucks. Yes. Right. So that is a great example because he's actually a quote unquote starter.
6:00Right. So this is the type of player that, you know, is capturing value on your roster, but not doing anything for
6:06you in any way, shape or form. Cause you know, it feels like players like that, even when there's an injury above
6:12them or ahead of them, I should say, they're still not the guy you wish they be.
6:17However, you know, I always use George Helani, you know, he could be a running back one in a week, you know,
6:23if somehow all of a sudden they're like, yeah, he's going to be starting this week.
6:28You're like, put him in, you know? So these running backs tend to, you want to, you know, roster dirtier production deeper
6:34at the running back position than you do at wide receiver.
6:37And for those reasons, you start to, when you start to think of it that way, then you start to think of
6:44the wide receiver position in a different lens. You're like, Hey, I, you know, how many of these guys can I really play?
6:50And that was one of the things that Scott sort of taught me that I now implement in every league is how
6:57many wide receiver spots are, are there. And especially in PPR leagues, how many flex spots are there?
7:02And if it's PPR, not a point per carry, cause then you're looking at it entirely differently because running backs man, those sort of flex spots.
7:09But in standard PPR leagues, you're generally going to want a wide receiver in those flexes.
7:14Well, if it's three wide receivers, three flexes, you can't start more than six wide receivers.
7:18So, you know, having five studs and a, you know, sort of a couple of guys to man that last spot or whatever is all you need.
7:26If you're rostering 12, 13 wide receivers in a league like that, you're probably wasting roster spots that could otherwise be utilized
7:33for backup quarterbacks and backup running backs. Yes. Yet in every draft we're in, in this rookie season, right?
7:38We're picking Jeremy Bernard, you know, like who's going to end up in that, you know, we're just hitting all those wide receivers.
7:45You know, Chris Bell, who everyone likes, I saw him being taken in the first round, you know, like, but over Emmitt Johnson.
7:51So do you hold true when you're in a rookie draft?
7:54Will you take like a day three running back over a day or round three wide receiver, even though everyone likes Chris Bell?
8:01Yes, absolutely. We were. You will do it. Yes, absolutely.
8:04We were preaching that I have zero Jeremy Bernard.
8:06I think I have maybe one if zero Chris Bell out of 23 leagues.
8:10Those wide receivers, even though some of them I like, I've basically shied away, stribbling and all these guys.
8:16I was vowing that after this, after a certain point of wide receivers, I want to just go away from them and
8:22either trade the pick, which was hard to do in this particular draft, but either trade the pick, take a running back,
8:29take a quarterback, which that was hard to do too.
8:31But, you know, Carson Beck was, I think, a much better pick than Jeremy Bernard.
8:36And he's dirtier. He's not as I mean, it's not as fun to pick Carson Beck as it is Jeremy Bernard.
8:42You can tell yourself a better story about Jeremy Bernard.
8:45Hey, man, he's going to be 120 target guy out of the slot.
8:48Probably not. But, you know, Carson Beck might actually do one thing that is very valuable.
8:53Start an NFL game at the quarterback position. I mean, in Jack's sportsbook, how many starts would you set the number after Carson Beck starts in 2026?
9:01That's a great question. If I were the sportsbook and I was taking money both ways.
9:05Where's the number where you're comfortable that it's going to that no one's going to know how to bet it?
9:11Three and a half, probably. Oh, I'd take the over there.
9:14Give me six and a half. I would set the number.
9:17There you go. I was going to say four and a half.
9:21So, yeah. Right. So, right. That's what I'm saying.
9:23So that's a lot. How much would you pay for a quarterback?
9:27If you're rostering just two quarterbacks, you have Josh Allen and then you're just playing like the roulette wheel at the back end of your Superflex dynasty team.
9:35That Carson Beck, I would take him at the 112.
9:38I mean, what are you really passing on in a rookie draft?
9:41Jeremy Bernard. I saw Elijah Surratt. Maybe if you're lucky, you get one of the day three running back singleton.
9:47I mean, again, you could like these guys. But in a lot of the drafts I've been in, they've gone ahead of Carson Beck.
9:54For sure. Yeah. No, give me six starts with a chance to be the starter for, you know.
9:59I mean, he could be the next Davis Mills where he gets one year.
10:03Right. Yep. Davis Mills had value. You know, there's there's obviously downside stories to tell for all of these players.
10:09But like I said, there's downside stories to tell about all of them.
10:13You know, Jeremy Bernard and Chris Bells included, you know, Singleton and Coleman, the two running backs that were taken at the turn.
10:19I'm OK with them. They're not the type of guys you typically want to take at the turn or at least the
10:25one, two turn, maybe the two, three turn in most drafts.
10:29That would be the type of player that you'd take there and be really excited about it.
10:33But because there was no quarterback depth and the wide receivers dried up quick, it kind of looked up.
10:39And there was no running backs either. I mean, there's two real running backs.
10:43I mean, it's just there was no depth this year in terms of skill position that pushed players like Singleton and Coleman
10:49into that late second where they belonged. So, dude, Claiborne, the Minnesota rookie and Catron Allen were going at the like the 206 in my drafts.
10:57Have to. Right. What else can you do? I mean, right.
11:00You're just saying, OK, maybe somebody likes Malachi Fields.
11:02Right. The Giants wide receiver. And you feel good because, oh, he's fast and he's big.
11:07And, you know, and there's and Malik Neighbors is hurt.
11:10But then like, you know, he's a game day inactive week one.
11:13You're like, Jesus Christ. So, yeah, no. It's really a one in 10, one in 20 shot you're taking in the second and third round.
11:21Meaning, you know, to find an actual contributor who's like, dude, he's a top 30 or 40 dynasty asset in two years
11:27or something like there's almost certainly not going to be one of those types of players.
11:31There might be. It could be Malachi Fields. It could be Elijah Surratt.
11:35It could be whomever that you want to put out there.
11:38It could be any of those guys, but it's probably none.
11:42And it's certainly almost certainly not the guy you took, you know, whoever it is.
11:46You know, it's not that guy. It's literally trying to bet the right roulette number.
11:50Yeah, that's right. It hits once in a while.
11:53It's nice. It's 36 to one. You know, you get the payoff.
11:56So that's where we go back to. Well, process wise, Carson Beck just on starts alone can reap you, you know, at least some profit back.
12:04Right. In a lot of situations, even if you are able to sell, take him in the second and then sell for a second.
12:11And people say, well, that's not profit. Well, yeah, it was because you couldn't sell your second round pick for 27 second this year.
12:17You know, so that was impossible to do. But if you're able to sort of reap that, you know, that reward, I think that's good enough.
12:25And in many cases, you can get more than that.
12:28And of course, you know, you know damn well, Alan.
12:31Package him up. That's the old way, too. Right.
12:33Right. So you take, you know, Carson Beck with a 27 second and Garrett Wilson and you get a, you know, something else.
12:40Right. But maybe you can get a position starter.
12:42Right. Like you have him here. Somebody needs a quarterback.
12:45Jacoby Myers. There you go. There you go. Seriously.
12:48There you go. I mean, you might be able to get.
12:51Yeah. Yeah. I'm saying you might be able to trade him for Derek Henry to a team that is going, that's literally going nowhere.
12:58Right. I mean, I mean, I was using that example that Ty Simpson is the correct pick at like even as early as the 106.
13:05Again, I wouldn't. That's a little early. I know what you mean.
13:09But he's basically like taking a 28 first and putting it in the back pocket because 27 firsts, Jax, they're way too valuable.
13:15Way too valuable. That's right. But as I'm saying, like at the end of the season, if you're the crappy team, I'm
13:21sorry, if you're a good team and you have Ty Simpson and just look at those bottom three or four teams, they're going to have someone you want.
13:30Just throw Ty Simpson on the table. That's a great call.
13:33Yeah. We were talking about Ty Simpson in that vein.
13:36It's really not a production play at all. It's 100 percent almost like picking a 28 first.
13:40And in a lot of ways, we looked at it like a 28 first and a half.
13:45Yeah. You know, like maybe not a first, but not a second, but not a first, but you know, somewhere, you know.
13:52Like it's a, it's a first, the, the word, when you pick Ty Simpson, the first round of your rookie draft, the
13:58worst thing that could happen is that he plays.
14:01Like you absolutely do not want him to play.
14:03That's right. That's absolutely true. That's well said, sir.
14:06And on that note, we're going to get to a lot of the stuff I want to talk about, including some very
14:12exciting news from me and maybe even from you, but we'll do all that right after this.
14:17There's the part of me that everyone sees. I'm Howie Mandel, the comedian.
14:21Apparently I know what funny is. Funny bought me a house, but I also know what isn't funny.
14:26OCD. I've lived with OCD my entire life and people throw the term around like it's no big deal.
14:31But OCD is severe, often debilitating. It's a mental health condition that involves unrelented, unwanted thoughts that can make you question your character, your beliefs, even your safety.
14:39General therapy can help with some things. But for OCD, it can actually make things worse.
14:44That's why I want to tell you about NoCD.
14:46NoCD is the world's largest treatment provider for OCD and is covered by insurance for over 155 million Americans.
14:52Their licensed therapists specialize in ERP, the most effective treatment for OCD.
14:55If you think you might be struggling with OCD, go to NOCD.com to book a free 15-minute call.
15:01They are here to help. Welcome back to the program.
15:03I'm here with Alan Sosowski. Alan, please do me a favor and tell me about your awesome show that you're doing on
15:10satellite radio and other things that are going on because you're absolutely killing it.
15:14Yeah. The satellite radio show that we do is called The Dynasty Hour.
15:17It's on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays for those who have satellite radio, Channel 87.
15:22It's the first 100% Dynasty Fantasy football show. Wow.
15:24Jack, see, I'm telling you, that channel is great, but they've always catered to the masses.
15:29And this is the first time in their history.
15:31They're like, you know what? I've been pitching it for years.
15:34Finally, they greenlit it. It does pause on July 3rd because they do go to their redraft format, but they're going to be sprinkling them in.
15:42And I don't know when by the time you hear this, but you're coming on the show and you'll be, like I
15:48told you, coming on the show as a regular, calling in, doing some Dynasty segments when you're available as well.
15:54So The Dynasty Hour on SiriusXM. When am I going on?
15:57Next week? I mean, if someone hears this, when's this podcast coming out?
16:01It might be today. It might be today. No, no.
16:04But when's the show? Next Tuesday, right? Yeah. Here, I'm opening.
16:07Let's see. I'm showing you how the sausage is made.
16:10I'm on my schedule. Where's my scheduling people? Where's my people?
16:13Admin assistant. She's here somewhere. Wednesday, June 23rd, Jax Falco.
16:16And now, if somebody does have satellite radio and they miss it, there is an on-demand section and you pull it up.
16:22Wow. So exciting. No, this will be out by then.
16:25So y'all check me out on satellite radio June 23rd.
16:28Yeah, not July 23rd. That'd be late. You missed it.
16:31Yes. June 23rd. But even if you miss that, you can, like I said, it's almost like a podcast.
16:36They bank it on demand. That's fantastic. I can't wait to go on.
16:40It's going to be great. You're killing it. I love that.
16:43I agree. I listen to that channel a lot in the car.
16:47And sometimes, like, I wish they'd get a little deeper.
16:49You know, I wish there was, you know, some people who would actually talk about the stuff that we think about a
16:56little bit more advanced thinking towards, you know, the game of fantasy football.
16:59But that's OK. We'll do it on June 23rd.
17:02Damn it. Right. And now they're starting to like this show.
17:05I've been bringing on, you know, Scott's been on the show.
17:08Scott Conner's been on the show. You know, there's Derek Brown.
17:11D bro has been on there talking dynasty. I mean, there's been, you know, Theo, obviously there's been a Scott Barrett's come on the show.
17:19So we are doing the like when when guys that have listened to the channel forever in here and they're like, oh,
17:25finally, like a real like we're around friends again.
17:28You know, like the deep dynasty stuff. Absolutely. Well, we're also doing some cool stuff.
17:32And OTCFFB, I introduced you to the site. Pretty cool, eh?
17:35Oh, dude. I mean, your listeners know this, but I can't wait for you to introduce this to the, you know, other audiences.
17:42This is like Toys R Us. That used to be a store that people loved going to.
17:47Right. I mean, you know, can you remember KB Toys, all those.
17:50Yeah. You go in. Yeah, no, this is really good.
17:53Like you, you guys hit it here with all of the tools that and it's aesthetically, it's beautiful, too.
17:58It's clean. So, yeah, no, I'm a fan. I'll be talking about this even without you on my program.
18:04So this is good. You guys hit it. Thank you.
18:07Yeah. We're there's a number of things, Alan, that I think people need to know about.
18:11One of the main things like I'll just hit one thing.
18:14Like I'm about to be in a dispersal draft.
18:17There's actually a dispersal draft tool that you can do a full dispersal draft on this site.
18:22Live dispersal draft and it will just push all the rosters directly and immediately into sleeper.
18:26Oh, I mean, that is you're right. Because the biggest pain in the ass about a dispersal draft is the mechanics of it.
18:33Yeah. It's like nobody wants to do it. It's like, dude, what?
18:36I got a Google sheet or something like that.
18:39You have to have like some geek in there who's like, I'll do the Google sheet.
18:44And you're like, oh, that sounds amazing that you'll do that.
18:47That sucks. Or it's just automatically does it. And it literally just pushes in and says, you just drafted Saquon Barkley.
18:53And it just goes onto your roster. It just happens.
18:56It's just incredible. You can choose to do it with or without picks.
18:59It's unbelievable. One of my other favorite things, Alan, you know, is it's how many dynasty leagues are you in?
19:05So I was in 41. I pared it down a little bit.
19:09So I'm closer to where you're talking about now.
19:11I'm like 27-ish. Yeah. All right. So you're in 27 leagues.
19:14And in those 27 leagues, you look down and you're like, shit, I have 13 Alvin Kamaras.
19:19I really want to sell Alvin Kamara. And I got to go into 13 leagues, click my team, click trade, click the
19:26other team, click Alvin Kamara, scroll down. Do they have a 27 third?
19:29No. Damn it. They have a 28 third? No.
19:32Damn it. Click out. Click back in. Click the other team, the second team.
19:36Scroll down. Oh, do they have, you know, and then do this on 13 teams.
19:40Ridiculous. You can just go on this. You can say everywhere I have Alvin Kamara, I want to send a trade to
19:47every other manager who has any third round pick and offer that trade right now and go click.
19:52And it'll send it to all of them. I've actually left players like Alvin Kamara on my roster and let them die there because I was too.
19:59Yeah. I would actually say, okay, I'm going to the bathroom.
20:03I'm going to take a dump. I'm going to go do it now.
20:06Right? So I go do it with the first team, do it with the second team.
20:11Then I get like bored or like frustrated. I can't do this with my life.
20:15I have to wipe. I have to wipe. And that's it, man.
20:19I can't do this with my life. I have other things.
20:22So now you can just do that. You're just like, oh, like pick a player that you have too much exposure of.
20:28Of course, it shows your exposure on there and click and send to all available, you know, teams.
20:33I did this during startups and I was able to sell many late first round picks for future first round picks because
20:40I was able to do so with this quickness.
20:42You know, if I had two or three picks in the late first of a given draft, when I'd come up, I'd
20:49just go to bulk trade, send it, go. Wait for responses.
20:52I can see if anybody responded. If they didn't respond, I just keep waiting because obviously they didn't decline it.
20:57So they haven't seen it. You know, I would just and it would just wait.
21:02And as soon as everybody either declined or one accepted, I would then pick my pick or have had traded it.
21:08And so many times I had traded it because I also think people see it comes from OTC.
21:13They're like, oh, shit, he bulk traded that. I want to get it, not someone else.
21:18I mean, it's just incredible. It works so well and it saves you so much time.
21:22There's also lineup features. I can't stress enough that if you're not already on there, all it takes is just go in
21:29there and put your you did it. But so clearly you don't have to be, you know, too smart.
21:34Right. You have to even an idiot could do it.
21:37Right. Yeah. But the so it's funny. I'm in a friend.
21:40A good friend of mine is in a league with you.
21:43And I don't think it. And he said that he's like when he saw that you got the first for first deal,
21:49you know, like you traded the 26 for the 27.
21:52He said he was so pissed and he goes, I didn't even think to do that.
21:57Or he actually started the words he used. I was too lazy to do that.
22:01And I you know what? Now this is the second part of the story.
22:05I'm going to go back and tell him about the tool and tell him how you were lazy, too.
22:11But you just click the button. Yeah, no. He would literally call it like he told because I said I'm going to on Jax's pocket.
22:18He's like, oh, I know that. I'm in a league with him.
22:21He was able to pull off that 26 for 27 deal.
22:24He's like, oh, I was very jealous. Yes, that's what it is.
22:28It's ultimately being efficient. There's also a lineup feature.
22:31So when it comes to we haven't even gotten to the season yet, the real efficacy of our tool hasn't even really hit people yet.
22:38Once they are starting their set, their lineups and do waivers.
22:41All of these things have been simplified through the OTC FFB tool.
22:44I pimped it because I don't really do commercials on here for my stuff or for what we're doing.
22:50But I believe this stuff is so great that it needs to be shouted about.
22:54I will also tell you, Alan, we are not stopping here.
22:57It is growing and there are more great ideas.
23:00I will just tell you there are some other big partners that are on the horizon who are seeing the efficacy of what we're doing.
23:07Because many of the people who are users of this tool are people who are in a lot of leagues.
23:13People in a lot of leagues are often content creators or part of big sites.
23:17And they're really noticing what we've done. And we just really want to continue to grow and create tools for a lot of different purposes.
23:24Let's just put it that way. And we're doing the best we can to partner in the right ways.
23:30And you made it ridiculously cheap for only 50 bucks for a year.
23:33Yes. Yes. And that's for all of it. You can still get on for free and use it.
23:39But to do everything in the world, it's 50 bucks a year.
23:42It's five bucks a year. Yeah. I mean, if you like the site, I've given 50 bucks to podcasts just to keep them going.
23:49Right. Exactly. Yes. Charity. Right. No, no. Charity. It's like paying for value.
23:53Paying for value. Exactly. No, no. Seriously. You created something of real value here.
23:57Yes, sir. I think that it's one thing for you to talk about it.
24:01It's another thing for people that actually use it to talk about it.
24:04And I know you're making a joke, but you really did create something of real value to the Dynasty players.
24:10Alan, I will say that we believe that it's worth more than we're charging, but we also understand that we want to make it accessible.
24:17Because really, the real genius of this is everybody who's really listening to this should be using it.
24:23Right. I don't want it to be exclusionary. I want it to be inclusionary.
24:27So that's part of it. One of the cool features that I had you take a look at was something that we
24:33can talk about because I thought it was kind of neat.
24:36It was the there's a there's an ADP tool in there, which I think is pretty cool.
24:41It does show current ADP. You can also pull up ADP for given date ranges.
24:45So you can see sort of more recently if someone's been spiking or or not and where their ADP has been maybe
24:52in the last 10 days or last year or since the draft or however you want to monkey with it.
24:57But also in that same page will there's a little year over year thing you can click and you can see, hey,
25:04who's gained the most fantasy value over the last year and who's been the biggest followers over the last year.
25:09And I think when you look at some of the names in some of the columns, I think you learn something by by doing that.
25:17And I asked you to take a peek. What was the what was something that really stuck out for you?
25:22Well, you could see that. Yeah. What's interesting is if you want to try to predict like I guess basically when you look at like the risers.
25:30Right. And you say like, oh, my God, like this, for example, Drake May is up 40 spots.
25:35Right. From last year. Right. Like I remember it's like, oh, man, I got him in like the third round of like
25:41super flex last year, like the end of the second round or depending on the draft and the time of the year.
25:48Now, I mean, he's pick one or pick two.
25:50So it's just like, you know, it forces you to try to say like, all right, who's going to be on the
25:57quote cover of the magazine next year? Right. Like, you know, there used to be fantasy magazines.
26:02It's like an old thing. But it's funny, like last year, Harold Fannin, who is, you know, is one of the biggest risers.
26:08He was like a third round rookie pick. And it was like, oh, yeah, I like that guy.
26:13Oh, small school. So I think that what it forces you to do is open up your brain to like not what's likely, but what's possible.
26:21And I think that that opens you up to make better startup draft picks.
26:25And then conversely, look at like some of the fallers is like, you know, someone like Travis Hunter, who people were shoving each other.
26:32It was a controversial pick, but shoving each other out of the way to get him.
26:36And now he's like Dynasty doo-doo. And, you know, again, we can discuss that.
26:40So it forces you to really like these were your preconceived thoughts from a year ago and realize that a lot of
26:47chaos is going to happen in fantasy football. Yeah, it brings me back.
26:50You'll love this story. I've told it before. But this was after Amon Ra's rookie year.
26:55However, I'm in a league with JJ Zacharyson. OK, and I hold Amon Ra.
26:59At that time, Amon Ra was a rising asset, but he was not all the way home yet.
27:04He was probably a lot like maybe an Emeka Abuka is now, you know, maybe a third, fourth, fifth round.
27:10He was not. I'm telling you. He wasn't that high.
27:13Yeah, he was not that high. He was not a top 12 dynasty receiver.
27:17That's true. Yeah, he was further down. You're absolutely 100 percent right.
27:20Anyway, you get my drift. Maybe like a Luther Burden, actually.
27:23That's actually the better corollary, but probably even further down that.
27:27But somewhere in there, right? He was a rising asset, but not quite there yet.
27:31And the other player that I got to try, I hold Amon Ra.
27:35JJ sends me a player who at that time, if you looked at ADP, if you looked at any ranking services, this
27:41player was ranked and had a higher ADP at the same position.
27:44You want to take a guess who he sent me?
27:47You'll never get it. So for your Amon Ra, right?
27:50You had Amon Ra, right? And I'm going to guess that he sent you, did he send you Devante Adams?
27:56It was Chase Claypool. Oh, my God. Now, listen, I swear on my life, I looked at that trade and I was
28:02ready to just say yes, of course. Right? Why?
28:05Why? Well, because it's straight up. And every person in the world, like all of the people have him ahead.
28:11Like, that's not like you couldn't have found someone.
28:13They were close, but he was ahead. He just was.
28:16And I was like, oh, I should take this, right?
28:19Like, this is the chance to get Chase Claypool.
28:21This and something inside of me said. Resist. Don't do this.
28:25Do not. And I just walked away and he put his best salesman shoes on and said, what if I did this?
28:31And as soon as he started doing that, I said, I think there's death.
28:35I, my initial gut reaction was right. Walk away, run away, hide under a rock.
28:39Do not let this person put the Jedi mind trick on me.
28:43And I resisted and held on to Amon Ra and the rest is history.
28:47And, you know, it changed. July 22. July 22.
28:49He was wide receiver 31. There you go. July of 2022.
28:52There you go. There it is. And I don't know.
28:55You could look at what, you know, I'm not looking at it, but you could look at what Claypool was.
29:01He was like wide receiver 25 or something. I don't know.
29:04You know, and he'd come off of like a multi touchdown.
29:07Bingo. Like a couple of games. Yeah. Wow. Yes.
29:10Yes. And so. That took my breath away a little bit.
29:13Thank you. You're welcome. But I think, you know, that lesson that was taught to me in that moment was, you know,
29:19there's you can't just look at someone's rankings and go, yep, I should do that.
29:24Critical thinking comes in and these values, there are going to be risers and fallers.
29:28And there's going to be players that from today forward move up.
29:32And I'm not here to say that I have all those answers because anybody who says that that's a liar.
29:37But someone that says to you that you should be thinking about these things, that's an honest person.
29:42I'm telling you the truth. You have to think about it in these terms.
29:46And I think when you start to do that, it does unearth.
29:50I said last year about Harold Fan and I said, look, I don't know if he's any good, but if he is
29:56good, he's going to be a meteor because what he does is volume receiving.
30:00Well, if he gets volume level, that's very valuable at the tight end position.
30:04Sure enough, that's what he got. Right. So the thing he did worked.
30:08Now, if the thing he did didn't work, he's out of the league and he's a nobody.
30:13Right. But the cost, the cost was so like it wasn't prohibitive at all.
30:17Like it was just like pick whatever pick you want in the third round, you could have taken him like sometimes he dripped into the fourth.
30:24There was no risk there. And even someone like last year, like Tyler Shook, right?
30:29Like finishes last season as a top 10 QB.
30:31But in our rookie drafts, it was like pick 208.
30:34You're like, all right, I guess I'll just take him.
30:37Right. Like he's a quarterback. So and I think that that's part of our Carson Beck discussion.
30:42Yes. Tyler Shook is the Carson Beck of this, you know, vice versa.
30:46Right. Carson Beck is the Tyler Shook. I mean, he's ugly.
30:49It's, you know, like literally. But thank you. Sorry.
30:51I keep going. How dare you? How dare you?
30:54No, I love it. I love it. It's an ongoing joke.
30:57It's fun. I love the guy. You know, we say it looks like Nucky Thompson from, you know, Borderlands.
31:03And that is an awkward looking dude. Nucky Thompson.
31:05Steve Buscemi. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, I and I heard you guys doing the whole Shuxedo bit.
31:10I thought was great. Yeah. No. They were very good.
31:13Shuxedo had me on the ground when he when he hit it.
31:17You know what the tuxedo risk is, right, Alan?
31:19Or yes or no? No. So if you remember in Step Brothers, when when they go for the job interview, they go
31:26for the job interview in these tuxedos and Seth Rogen is interviewing them and he loved them.
31:30He was like, you guys are awesome. I'm going to let's do this.
31:34We're hiring you. We're doing this whole thing. He was so into the whole thing.
31:38And then John C. Riley farted. And then he was like, wait a minute.
31:42You guys aren't being ironic. You guys are fucking this is real.
31:46Right. And he's like, you guys get the hell out of my office.
31:50And so there was tuxedo risk there. He was drawn in by the tuxedos thinking they were cool and then found out there were the opposite of cool.
31:58That's tuxedo risk in fantasy where you're like, no, right.
32:01It's it's shock. He's 28 year old. He just had a good rookie year.
32:05He was a bad prospect, but he's good now.
32:07And you're like, yeah. And then he's not. You're like, right.
32:10What the? I should have seen that, you know.
32:13And by the way, that's a real outcome. His him farting in fantasy football, like in just being terrible.
32:18Right. Like it's I mean, because think about it.
32:21Like a guy like that. The fart would be if the Saints start one in five.
32:26He's got like six interceptions in five games. And yes, the leash will not be long.
32:30And that's the downside of guys that you're taking them in that that zone.
32:34Bingo. That's it. Like, you know, if Joe Burrow does the same thing, they start one in five has six picks.
32:40It's his job is in no jeopardy. You know what I mean?
32:44Buy low. Buy low. Right. Exactly. So that's just the reality of of the sport.
32:48And that's the reality of understanding where the trap doors are.
32:51And there are definitely some trap doors with with Shuck.
32:54Although I will say he hasn't been steamed up quite as high as some of the players like him in the past,
33:00like even Kenny Pickett after his rookie year. Yeah.
33:03Well, Kenny Pickett at least was a first round pick.
33:06Like people held on to that thing. Right. Right.
33:08Like I think the illusion of a non top 10 pick has been broken.
33:12Right. Like even Ty Simpson. Right. Fine. They took him a pick 13.
33:16But if he doesn't play well like that, they're not even going to think about going another direction.
33:21You know, so. Totally. And this all started with Josh Rosen.
33:24Do you remember that about six or seven years ago?
33:27Sure do. When they couldn't like we couldn't believe that a top 10 NFL drafted quarterback was being discarded for Kyler Murray.
33:34Like we were like, they're not going to do that.
33:36And then they did it. And that just opened.
33:39I mean, maybe there's a little insulation in the true 101.
33:42Right. Like Bryce Young was tolerated through some bad stuff.
33:45And, you know, if Fernando Mendoza is obviously going to have a very, very long, you know, chance to screw up or so.
33:52Zach Wilson at pick two for the Jets. I mean, he got the tolerance, but at some point they just moved on with him.
33:59So, yeah, there's a certain amount of of leash that you get with the 101 that you don't even get at the
34:05like you mentioned at the 102, 103. It's really, really hard.
34:08I mean, we did see it a little bit with Kyler, but he had been given many chances, too.
34:14So, yeah, I totally agree. And of course, the Kyler took over for Josh Rosen.
34:18We see it all the time. So how long the leash is for these quarterbacks?
34:22It's just they're so tied to the winning because the owner wants to win.
34:26The general manager wants to win. The coach wants to win.
34:29And the quarterback has to win. And one of those four is getting blamed and it ain't going to be the owner.
34:36He's just going to fire one of the three below him.
34:39And if the quarterback is a second round pick, it's easy for them to all go see.
34:44We were wrong about it. He sucks. You know, let's get him out of here.
34:48It's the you know, not gonna be like, well, I'm just a bad coach.
34:52Like so obviously the pressure moves down. But if you're the 101, you're like you can almost say, no, this guy's a shitty coach, bro.
34:59You know, right. Right. There's there's there's tolerance, you know, with the 101.
35:03There's you know, there's more they get that longer leash.
35:06But yeah, like would they drafted Tyler Shuck thinking like, hey, could this guy be our backup?
35:11Right. You know, so when you get a starter out of it, it's bonus.
35:15And then, you know, he'll be the backup for as long as his rookie contract is.
35:19And then that's what happened with Davis Mills. Right.
35:22We keep making that comp. And it's the same thing.
35:25He got his one year to start. Now he was on the backup circuit.
35:29Now he's considered one of the better backups in the league.
35:32Yes. So let's look at some of the players.
35:34I think, you know, you might have given this some thought.
35:38I did. Who are some of the players that you think from now forward, like the next six months to a year,
35:44you can go any position you want, you know, wherever you like to go that you think might be.
35:49Yeah. Risers or followers pick any way you think, but just one of the guys that you think might have some movement
35:56in the coming months to a year. I mean, the super obvious one, the one that has the chance to go like
36:02nuclear rocket fuel is Travis Hunter, Jaguars wide receiver.
36:05Right. Like in even just like in redrafts, he's like in the 10th or 11th round.
36:09I get laughed at if I take him in the 10th round right now.
36:13I mean, I don't think you can even get a first round pick for him.
36:18There's no way. No, no, no. There's no way.
36:20But the I mean, I'm holding on to the fact that the last game we saw him, Jax, was before he got injured.
36:27It was a big fantasy game. And then there's been some recycled coach speak about how he's going to play more defense.
36:33Man, that would just be catastrophic for the, you know, the brass that drafted him that gave up the additional pick if
36:39they don't try to insert him in. Now, it is a little bit worrisome with BTJ still there.
36:45And then obviously Parker Washington emerging as like like this real rock solid receiver, probably a top 40 receiver in the real NFL.
36:51And then, of course, Jacoby Myers, one of your favorites.
36:54Right. He still eats up a few targets. Yeah.
36:57A couple of tight ends there. So it's going to be tough for him to get there.
37:01But I think if things break right, I mean, there's too much.
37:05We just talked about this with the quarterback position.
37:08There's a lot of investment in Travis Hunter and it could take a while.
37:12But I think he's the one that could. I mean, I last year at this time, I thought he could enter the Jamar Chase tier.
37:19I thought he could knock on it. It's such a good call, mainly because I don't think anybody agrees with you, you
37:25know, meaning that the value is so suppressed that you can buy him for so cheap that when it happens or if
37:31it were to happen, it would be out of left field in some ways, even though he was what?
37:37The third pick overall of the draft. Lauded. Yeah.
37:39Second pick overall and a lauded prospect of, you know, upper echelon, you know, right?
37:44So I think you're onto something there. You know, when you said it, I actually thought BTJ is another one, actually, because,
37:50you know, he was my number one sell last year.
37:53Excuse me. At this time, I thought he was quite an obvious one.
37:57Again, not because of talent, but because of price.
37:59He was like a top six dynasty wide receiver.
38:02I was like, yo, that's expensive. That feels like his absolute rock solid ceiling.
38:06There's no way you're squeezing any juice out of that.
38:09So might as well sell him. And it turned out to be a really great call.
38:13Like I said, I did not envision what happened.
38:16I thought there was a chance that Travis Hunter could outscore a BTJ last year.
38:20I would have never guessed what did happen, that, you know, BTJ was outscored by Parker Washington.
38:25That was not what I thought would happen. But nonetheless, seeing the sort of fragility and the value is what I was looking at.
38:32And it led to an outcome that none of us could have foreseen.
38:36I think the same thing could happen again this year where, you know, BTJ just sort of turns into, you know, 80,
38:4290 percent of what he was in his rookie year.
38:45Let me give you a couple names here, right?
38:47Like if you have Travis Hunter on your team, I'm trying to get him from you.
38:52I'm going to offer you these guys one for one.
38:55You tell me if you want Hunter or the guy I'm offering you.
38:59And obviously, I'm going to do cross positional. Would you take Zach Charbonnet for him right now?
39:04Is there a roster construction one? Probably not. Okay.
39:06All right. So the answer is no. What if they said Zach Charbonnet is healthy?
39:10He's going to be starting week one along with their rookie.
39:14They have Price. Yeah, probably. I don't know what.
39:16But I don't think that's happening. Right. So Charbonnet is a tough one.
39:20Like Ramondre is probably the one that, you know, is like Charbonnet, but isn't.
39:24Again, probably not. I'd probably take Ramondre over Hunter.
39:27Again, it's a tough one because here's the thing.
39:29If you're in a shallow league, here's the Travis Hunter thing.
39:32If you're in a shallow league, meaning you start nine and Travis Hunter is back there as like this sort of dice
39:39roll, like guy who could just come in and all of a sudden bring me value.
39:43I want to keep him rostered. If I'm in a deep league where I'm starving for starters and I'm like, oh, my
39:49God, Ramondre on this team could really help me, then I'll probably look to make that move.
39:54So I'm not going to temper it that way with every answer, but I do want to sort of mention that that's a big factor.
40:02All right. Let me give you another one. And I'll say like in most I think most people that listen to your
40:08show probably play in at least star 10. 12 by 11.
40:11Yeah. Yeah. A minimum. So. All right. I'm going to give you a 29 year old David Montgomery.
40:16Give me Travis Hunter. David Montgomery all day. OK.
40:19All right. So I think we could make a deal.
40:22You know what I'm saying? And I think that's a good dynasty trade because we know David Montgomery is probably like he
40:28could end up being like a top 14, top 12 running back.
40:31Yes. You're untouched. Yeah. So. But he's 29. Yeah.
40:34So I think that's a good dynasty trade. Yep.
40:37Yep. There you go. All right. You get the point.
40:39We just made a deal. We just made a deal.
40:42Send it through the OTCFFB. It doesn't even exist that we in this fictitious league that we have.
40:47But yeah. No, I think that, you know, that's what I'm saying is like I'd be willing.
40:52Like I'm confident enough to give away what I think can be real like a production to get him.
40:58And again, this is the Harold Fannin argument at this point.
41:01It doesn't matter if it hits. It's a meteor.
41:04If it doesn't hit. And I like that you said that.
41:07I'm going to kind of bring that into into my thinking is that if it doesn't hit.
41:12Sure. I gave away David Montgomery's production this year.
41:14It's probably a little flat after that. Yes. We always ask, what is the prize if you win?
41:19Right. You know, if you win the bet on player X, what does that look like?
41:24Right. And, you know, the winning the bet on Travis Hunter, if you win the bet, if you turn it over and
41:30it's 100 percent best outcome of Travis Hunter. Yeah.
41:33He's a top 12 wide receiver in the NFL.
41:35Right. Like that is the win. Some of these guys were shot Bateman.
41:39You win the bet on him. He's still a wide receiver.
41:4230, 40. Yeah. Right. You're like, wow, he was awesome.
41:45You know, so right. Yeah. Nobody, nobody likes Travis Hunter.
41:48And again, I just I don't know. I don't want to be wedded to like what I thought last year, but it's just like it can't.
41:56I mean, maybe that one game before he got hurt where it was very fantasy relevant is what's pulling me.
42:01It's anchoring me to that a little bit. You got any cells or ones that you think are going to fall?
42:07Yeah. I mean, if you talk about players that are going to fall, I think, again, I like Jackson Dart, but it's
42:14easy to see this not working out, whether it's through injury or I mean, we've seen what happens when Jackson Dart gets neutered.
42:20Right. Like it was like, OK, and I love them.
42:23Like I'm I'm pushing people out of the way to get them.
42:27But I was looking at like the largest fallers and darts, the sexiest one that could fall back.
42:32And it's it just feels very fragile, especially. I don't want to hear any of your liberal tears on this.
42:37But I do like him. I do like him.
42:40I mean, you know, I mean, I talked about there's other fallers, the older running backs, right?
42:45Like how many more years of production are we going to get out of Jonathan Taylor and CMC?
42:50Like those are kind of like obvious ones. Like when it happens, it happens fast.
42:54But Jackson Dart and I'm just going to spit out and you couldn't talk about it.
42:59And Trevion Henderson, I could see it not working out, even though you know what I'm saying?
43:04It's so those are the type of names where I'm just like those guys zipped up boards and it was kind of warranted with Dart.
43:11But some of the other guys, it's just like I could see the end coming quick.
43:16Yeah. And Trevion, as much as I love him and I have had him at, you know, you know, top 12 running
43:22back in Dynasty, he hasn't been that in production yet.
43:25So it's definitely a bet on rejection, not a bet on history.
43:28So you just said you like Ramondre. Right. Yeah, absolutely.
43:31It's possible he gets cucked again and he just I mean, cucked last year was a thousand yards still and like running back 20 or something.
43:39I mean, it wasn't like, you know, it wasn't awful.
43:42But my point is, to your point, that, you know, you don't take a guy as a top 12 running back to get RB 20 out of him.
43:50And in the playoffs, they really didn't use him.
43:52They did not trust him in the real NFL playoffs.
43:55That was scary. Like I thought maybe because you're right.
43:58He did have a nice little run in fantasy where you plugged him in.
44:02You were getting some points. It's just easy to see that one.
44:05Like it doesn't feel like a solid asset for where you have to take them.
44:10That's great. The dart one, I think. I mean, I think as long as he stays healthy, the rushing upside tethers him a little bit.
44:17One of the ones I've been thinking about and let me know what you think about this one.
44:22Well, first of all, what's that? A riser or fuller.
44:25You're going to tell me. I'm going to hit you with a faller, but I will say any riser can be a
44:31rookie because, you know, that's the thing about like a Casey Concepcion.
44:35You could say him. It's like, oh, he's wide receiver 33.
44:38If he's good, he'll be the wide receiver. Yes.
44:40That's why these rookies are those types of players.
44:43Now, we have no idea what they are, but I think Casey Concepcion is a riser.
44:48In that same area, a player by the name of Michael Wilson is being drafted as if he's done something.
44:53And really what he did was what Jerry Judy did two years ago.
44:57I've been saying this. It's true. He played on a high volume offense where he didn't really do anything in terms of yards per route run.
45:05In other words, per route efficiency, he was good, not exceptional.
45:08But they ran so many routes and had so many pass attempts in Arizona that even Trey McBride got up, what, 160 targets.
45:14Now, Trey McBride's awesome. But if you ask me if he's going to see 150 or 160 targets every year, he's not.
45:21That's not going to happen. That's very, very difficult to project.
45:24And so for those reasons, I think Michael Wilson, with the return of Marvin Harrison Jr., who was a top five NFL
45:30draft pick, I think you could see some real regression in the Michael Wilson box score come 2026.
45:35Yeah. I mean, you see people taking Michael Wilson over Marvin Harrison in like best ball.
45:40It's crazy. You know what I mean? Dude, I dropped Michael Wilson before the season started.
45:44That's like how little confidence I had in him.
45:47I mean, it was a roster crunch thing. Like, I obviously probably should not have done that.
45:52But when someone else picked him up right away, I was like, oh, what am I missing here?
45:57And then obviously, you know, a month later is going off.
46:00Yeah. Well, he's a starter. So, I mean, there's something there.
46:03I mean, you know, he's not going to be a zero.
46:07Just like, I mean, look, Jerry Judy was that kind of guy for me, too.
46:11It's like, you know, I was all in on Jerry Judy after, you know, after he did it.
46:16And then I looked deeper. I'm like, actually, his numbers didn't change.
46:19It's just the past volume of the team changed.
46:22And you can actually see that in the numbers for Michael Wilson.
46:25And, you know, while you're answering, maybe I'll pull it up just to give the listeners an understanding of that.
46:31But you were talking about like rookies that they can only go up.
46:35The only one that can't go up is Cornel Tate.
46:38I cannot believe he's a top 11 dynasty receiver.
46:40I mean, I guess I get it, right? Like, because he's like he was top five real NFL draft pick.
46:46I mean, all the social media clips I'm watching now look pretty good.
46:50It's just hard to like envision that. I don't know.
46:53Are you down with that? I guess that's the price.
46:56Right. So you have to take him where the price is.
46:59But it just feels like he's got nowhere to go to down.
47:02Like when last year when I was talking about Travis Hunter, felt like he can knock on the door of that elite tier.
47:09Unless it's just like he's one of these guys that just pops in the NFL.
47:13It feels like he's going to live his life in where like Roma Doonze is now.
47:18Yeah, I yeah. No, I'm not necessarily in on Cornel Tate.
47:21Certainly not at that value as well. For me, it's been like to me, he's like a T Higgins, which is great.
47:27It's great. I love it. I love that. But I do think that it's very difficult for him to see ceiling past
47:34that for the for the guys ahead of that.
47:36You either want to see these elite, you know, college producers or, you know, these sort of, you know, all purpose weapons.
47:42The guys who are manning the slot all over the place and, you know, running running routes, you know, all of it.
47:49But I mean, I you know, the slot has become a dirty word, yet that is what has fueled JSN and Chris.
47:55I mean, excuse me, JSN and Cooper Cup and their big seasons.
47:59Even Jamar Chase and his, you know, otherworldly season.
48:01And they admitted we liked moving him into the slot to get favorable matchups, which is what led me to have Makai Lemon as my wide receiver one.
48:09So I'd have him Cornel Tate behind Makai Lemon.
48:12So I'm with you. That's good. Yeah. No, I heard you talking up Makai Lemon before the draft.
48:17You're still with that, though, is him over Cornel Tate?
48:20OK. Yeah. The reason I think that some I've heard to get the slot is the dirty word is because there I
48:26guess there's this fear that there's going to be more two wide receiver sets and more tight ends on the field.
48:32Yes. So the slot receiver. But I said, like, if you're talking about a Jamar Chase type, he's not coming off the
48:38field even if he's in the slot. And if you think Makai Lemon is this, you know, next Amon Ross St.
48:44Brown work the middle of the field type of guy, he's not going to come off.
48:49The tight end will split out wide or whoever, you know, Eli Stowers will split out wide.
48:54You know? Yes. We agree. So the slot only players, the players that tend to be like a, you know, Wandale Robinson
49:00type, even a Jaden Reed, you know, there's a there's a fear that when you're a Jaden Reed type and you can't
49:07quite get on the field for 100 percent of the snaps.
49:10That was somewhat the fear with players before, like CeeDee Lamb, like JSN.
49:13But that was unfounded because they were first round picks, much like Makai Lemon is.
49:18I do suspect Makai Lemon will see growth similar to CeeDee Lamb and JSN.
49:22Maybe not ceilings as high, but pathways similar. Yeah, no, your confidence in him is giving me confidence.
49:27And I've heard you talk about him all offseason long since before.
49:30And I was curious because I hadn't heard you talk about Lemon in relative to everything else.
49:35And I guess the A.J. Brown only trade only fueled this for you.
49:39Yeah, I mean, that's the thing that was kind of interesting.
49:42We talked about it on. Well, I think you might have heard it because you heard the Shuxedo bit was the conversation
49:49about the changing ADP of Makai Lemon that we talked about on the underground pod.
49:53And it was right. He was like the going solidly in the fourth round of startups until the NFL draft.
49:59When the NFL draft happened, he got picked in the first round by a good team and dropped two rounds.
50:04So people hate the landing spot, whether they hated it because Devante Smith and A.J.
50:09Brown were there or even if they were projecting A.J.
50:11Brown to be traded because of that, but hate the landing spot because of Jalen Hurts and the passing tree there and
50:18the volume and all those other legitimate concerns. I still think that it's usually a bad bet to bet against a player you like because of landing spot.
50:26And, you know, there's been recent news. It doesn't seem like it's going to be anything serious that he has like an early hamstring injury.
50:33I mean, you know, again, that's going to push the ADP down.
50:36Yeah, no, that's not good because you don't want the missing practice time.
50:40I hate that. Yeah. But I was talking to a couple of guys that do like best ball drafts and they're like, I'm not taking Makai Lemon.
50:48And like they're just passing on him in these drafts.
50:51But obviously, Dynasty, it's a different game. Yeah, no, absolutely.
50:54I'm with you. What else? What else you got?
50:56You got any other any risers, followers? I love this.
50:59Yeah, no, me too, because it's always like what?
51:02Where are you at on Malik Willis? Because everyone thinks that he's a one year mercenary, even though he has a multi year contract.
51:09And then there's going to kick his ass to the curb and draft Arch Manning.
51:13And I'm like, what if they're like get seven wins?
51:16It's not going to be as easy as you think.
51:19Or what if they if he plays well, they pick early on and they take Jeremiah Smith.
51:24Right. And they're like, we want, you know, like I want to take a chance on Dante more.
51:29We like Malik Willis. We hope he becomes Malik Willis.
51:32So, yeah, I mean, the odds against it. I mean, you don't have to really pay for him.
51:37He's a he's a throwing quarterback. You can get him for anything reasonable.
51:40I mean, easily in a rookie draft, you can give up the 112 and get Malik Willis.
51:45Should be easy at this point, especially people are souring on Malik Willis big time.
51:50And so could he be a real riser? Yes.
51:52At this time next year? Absolutely. Because here's the thing with Malik Willis, who, like many before him, the statement goes, as
51:59a matter of fact, as Malik Willis before Malik Willis, when Malik Willis was a rookie.
52:03We said this about Malik Willis, which is if he's on the field, he'll be productive as a fantasy asset.
52:09Right. And he was. He was elite. Yes. If he's on the field, he'll be elite and productive as a fantasy asset.
52:15Will he be productive enough as an NFL asset to retain employment?
52:19I don't know. I don't know. That team could be really bad, Alan.
52:22Everyone. But that's what I'm saying. We always think like, oh, we know which teams are going to be bad, which teams are going to be good.
52:30And there's always one or two that surprises. Now, I'll admit that it, you know, on paper, you know, the pass catching cores.
52:37But that's not what we want Malik Willis for.
52:39Right. We want Malik. And then even in that very small sample of Green Bay, they had it's not like he came
52:46in and they had a whole offense designed for him.
52:49It wasn't the Jordan Love offense. And then that coach comes over to Miami and then proactively gives this guy, you know,
52:55at least starter money, plus a couple of years of security.
52:58And this is what I'm thinking is that even if listen, if the guy tanks Malik Willis, then all bets are off.
53:04But if he plays well, one, either going to keep him or there's going to be a team that's out.
53:10If Aaron Rodgers retires, he's retiring and Pittsburgh's out of range, maybe he's the may trade him there.
53:15So I think that he's a guy at this time next year.
53:19Fine. Maybe he never gets above on the rankings quarterback 19.
53:22But like you said, it's a guy when like Justin Fields before him, when he's in the lineup, we're ranking him as a top nine quarterback.
53:29Top eight quarter. I agree. The thing, you know, Alan, I love to take because it's there's a lot of different ways to think about it.
53:37My I just wanted him to have an out for him to be like respected as a top 20 ish quarterback by the NFL.
53:44And I feel like that out is very hard for me to envision happening because of how bad the team projects to be.
53:50As you as you point out, that's not guaranteed.
53:53This bet feels very similar, of course, in so many ways, the contract, everything about it, the team, the division even to
53:59the Justin Fields bet a year ago. And we lost that bet.
54:03We lost that bet for sure. We started to win that bet.
54:06It's just like every good gambling story. Yeah. What we said was true that if he's on the field, he's good for fantasy.
54:13He just was so bad. I do think the coaching was so bad.
54:16Yes. That it didn't help him. But I do think that Justin Fields has a problem that actually Malik Willis, I think,
54:23is better at, which is downfield throwing the football.
54:25He has been better, actually. Period. Full stop. Mathematically, statistically has been better throwing the ball down the field than Justin Fields
54:32by a clear measure over the last two to three seasons.
54:35Period. Period. So if he's good enough, he just gets this window where he might get another big contract or something to
54:41that effect where he's actually a startable player for many years to come.
54:45That just feels a little bit more flimsy, Alan.
54:47And that's all. So I still am a buyer, but I'm a little bit scared is all.
54:52Yeah. Malik Willis' contract. Will you hold me? Come here.
54:55Come here. Put your head on my boobula. You know, put it on my breast.
55:00I need to be held is what I'm saying.
55:02That's right. Go ahead. But his contract right now.
55:05OK, the total. I'm just looking right here. I think it's.
55:08Yeah, it's fully guaranteed in 27 also. So he is what he's either going to.
55:12OK, he's going to get twenty one million dollars.
55:15It says cash. Fully guaranteed in 27. I know NFL contracts are a little flimsy, but that means that if you're acquiring
55:21the question that we you and I are going over is who's going to skyrocket up these rankings and be a real riser this time next year.
55:29I think no matter what the outcome, I think short of him being literally the worst quarterback, I think we're in a good spot with him.
55:36I mean, I mean, and also, do you think that how does that work with a chance?
55:41Like, this is good for a chance or because you always you're on a chance early and often.
55:46That's kind of what I'm saying is it's like, what are we supposed to do about all this?
55:51Right. You know, it's like, you know, a chance also feels scary now.
55:55I mean, we have sort of said that with a chance or is it ETN?
56:00I'm not sure how you say his name now, but.
56:02Oh, we're changing his name, too. Now, I think he goes to he goes to ETN and a chance goes to.
56:08Oh, my God. Yeah, I think that would be the best.
56:12That would be the best. If he came to Devon ETN, that would be the best.
56:16Yeah, I think that's how you say it. Oh, that's good.
56:19Yeah, for real though. It's something like that. Is he lower value or is he buyable?
56:24Is that really what it is? I felt like I felt like ETN was always the guy that like no matter the
56:30situation, he's great because if you're ahead and they're running, he'll get running attempts and score touchdowns.
56:35If they're behind, then he's unbelievable target rate on dump offs.
56:38And I think that could definitely happen with Malik, who has no other real weapons where, you know, he's just sort of
56:45looking around going, all right, fuck it. You know, give it a give it a give it a let him run for
56:51a few and just kind of try and matriculate the ball down the field in that manner, which may be their best
56:57bet for big plays and sort of, you know, conversion.
57:00So I do think ETN will be fine, but, you know, the the offense doesn't project to score a ton.
57:06So it's not gonna be through touchdowns and it's through targets.
57:09Yeah. And again, that's I think that's very reasonable.
57:12And again, that's the likely outcome. But I think that as we talked about earlier, it's like it's not about what's likely.
57:18It's about what you said is what happens if we win the bet.
57:22Yeah. And I think that. Yeah. So I'm I'm surprised that Malik Willis, I understand the skepticism, but I think at this
57:28time next year, he's going to be what we call a real riser.
57:32Yeah, I think that's fair. I think that's fair.
57:34I'm excited for him. Who else you got as a what about a loser?
57:38Give me a loser. Oh, loser. I mean, I just traded for Jonathan Taylor and I'm scared to death after this year, man.
57:45I'll tell you the trade I did. And I hated it the minute I I traded away and I'm in win now mode.
57:52It was a startup. It was during the startup.
57:54We had about the first 15 rounds done. I think Bruce was like my I went running back heavy.
58:00So I I traded away Brees and a 27 second for Jonathan Taylor and like a fourth or something.
58:05So basically to go, I paid the iron price, which I immediately regretted.
58:09Now, I intend on being a final four team.
58:11So that's going to be picked nine, 10, 11 or 12.
58:14Right. I think because I have all the win now, guys.
58:18So one, you hate that trade. Right. You'd rather have Brees in the pick.
58:22Yeah. I mean, generally running back for running back.
58:24I like the profit side. Yeah. No, that as soon as I made it, it goes against every all the content I
58:31listened to, like with you and, you know, all the people that understand the mechanics of Dynasty.
58:35But I just got greedy. I said, oh, he's a jet and I'm going to get Jonathan Taylor and I'm going to win this year.
58:43But, you know, that's not how it works. And the second round pick feels like a feels like a poker chip.
58:49It doesn't feel like it's worth anything. That's right.
58:51I realize it's missing out of my queue. That's right.
58:54Yeah. No, that's right. Yeah. I mean, anytime I can trade running back for running back and get the profit, I tend to want to do that.
59:02I know. Screwed that up. So Taylor is a faller.
59:05Almost anytime. Look, running backs are super difficult to hold value because they get old fast, you know, in the running back
59:11world, except if you're Derrick Henry, right? He's an outlier, though.
59:14How has he not gotten old, right? It's Frank Gore.
59:17It's unbelievable. So there's a few guys that are outliers like that.
59:21But most of these running backs, the cliff happens fast.
59:23I mean, Joe Mixon. Joe Mixon two years ago was like, oh, yeah.
59:27I mean, I traded for him not last year, the end of the year before for a playoff run because he was the hotness.
59:34He was a win now piece. He's never played for my team except one game that I lost a playoff game.
59:40I had the same experience. I gave away Travis Etienne for him.
59:44Right. So did we predict that? We can't. And so running backs can often do that.
59:48So Taylor, like you said, with that cliff I traded for him, I think he could be a fuller.
59:54But really, the running back who I think is going to be wiped off, like evaporated, I think is Bucky Irving.
60:00He's in real danger, Jax. He's in real danger.
60:02Kenneth Gainwell, they signed him for about seven mil a year.
60:05What did Gainwell do last year? He shoved Jalen Warren out of the way.
60:09One of the more efficient guys was about 4.7-ish per carry.
60:13I think that people are looking at this as like a 70-30.
60:16I think this is going to be like 60-40 towards Gainwell.
60:19Who the hell is Bucky Irving, right? That he doesn't have any tenure with this group of coaches and things.
60:25So I think he's in real danger of being evaporated.
60:28Wow. We don't disagree. This one, Bucky Irving feels super scary to roster right now.
60:32He's supposedly young. And for that reason, he's very expensive as a running back.
60:36Yet, he feels so fragile for a lot of reasons.
60:39His size makes him technically smaller and potentially more actually fragile to injury, which is not what I meant.
60:44But that's even on the list. He was a later round pick, which makes him a little bit more fragile due to
60:51draft capital and team investment, which wasn't even really what you were talking about.
60:55To throw on top of that, the Kenny Gainwell, who we've been arguing, I have been arguing, me personally, myself, have been
61:01arguing that Kenny Gainwell is awesome, like his whole career.
61:04And when people ask me, do I like Kenny Gainwell?
61:07The whole time I always be like, I think he's awesome.
61:10But unfortunately, the NFL doesn't agree. That's what I've been my take for like five years on this guy, because it feels
61:16like nobody's willing to give him even a really a secondary role until last year, which everybody saw is like, oh, wait, he is awesome and can play.
61:24And he probably played the perfect role, which, by the way, if he plays that exact role in this offense, hurts Bucky Irving big time.
61:31So I agree for all of those reasons. And Sean Tucker exists, who's pretty good.
61:36So it's not like I think he's a specific threat, but he's at least worthy to get on the football field.
61:42And when you have, excuse me, Kenny Gainwell and Sean Tucker, who are both worthy to play Bucky, who has not been a volume pass catcher.
61:49Oh, boy, there could be some outs where he is just a middling running back to or maybe even worse.
61:55And that's not going to be good enough at the price you're paying, which is top 12 ish running back in Dynasty.
62:01Yeah, I'd be all hands off right now. The consensus rankings.
62:05I mean, he's dropped 14 spots, so he's down to he's down to RB 19.
62:09But listen to this. Listen to the five running backs, Jacks, that are below him in the consensus rankings.
62:14And I know you'd want them all. Javante Williams or Bucky Irving.
62:18That's close, but Javante is pretty, pretty good. He's locked in for two years.
62:22Yeah. Travis Etienne. And you just said for sure.
62:24Yeah. How about this one? This one gets a little tricky because his projection.
62:28So Bucky Irving, 23.8 years old or Basial Tootin.
62:31Basial Tootin. Wow. OK, go there for a second.
62:34Why are you so confident with Basial? I mean, what are we worried about with Basial Tootin?
62:38Like, I mean, look, here's the thing. This is another one of those.
62:42If you win the bet, what do you win?
62:45Well, you win one of the most explosive players in the NFL is what you win.
62:49So on one of the best offenses in the NFL, a player who they were trusting at the goal line last year.
62:56So in his rookie season, when he was playing behind Travis Etienne, who they, with the swiftness, traded away and then opened
63:02the door for Basial Tootin, didn't draft a running back.
63:05And the only person they brought in was Chris Rodriguez, who somehow or another turned into Derek Henry this offseason.
63:11I didn't know that happened. He's already heard. Unbelievable.
63:13Yeah. I just I just didn't see that coming.
63:16As a matter of fact, when I saw Chris Rodriguez go there, I was like, well, this is really good for Basial Tootin.
63:22Right. Was my initial thought. And then everybody was like, well, this sucks for Basial Tootin.
63:27I'm like, wait, explain that to me like I'm five years old.
63:30You know, I always say this. Every team has four or five running backs on the roster.
63:35You know, at least three active. Every team. What other running back room would you rather he be a part of?
63:41Like, this is the best one in the NFL.
63:44So I would have been more scared had Liam Cohen brought Rashad White in.
63:48Exactly. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. And then they also there's there's some talk about LaQuint Allen.
63:52I've heard that he's like this is going to be a three headed monster.
63:56So, you know, it is like Basial Tootin was good in the in the short yardage stuff and the sample we saw him.
64:03But I think because a lot of dynasty players, I know you don't play like this.
64:07You don't need to see it first. Right. You just need to like figure out the path.
64:12I didn't realize this. I thought most people thought like this, Jax.
64:16Most people need to see it. And then for multiple weeks.
64:19Yes. And they they're they're OK paying like the higher price.
64:22Like right now, like I always tell my like, oh, I'd pay the one twelve for Basial toot.
64:27No problem. Someone's like, what? You would. You know, and I'm like, no, like it's going to be worth the one oh five in a month.
64:35You know, three months from now. So. And then, of course, the thing with Basial Tootin is one of those things like, well, yeah.
64:42LaQuint Allen is a solid pass catcher. Chris Rodriguez is a great first and second down, you know, grinder back.
64:47Probably pretty useful at the goal line and probably pretty reliable, stout and strong.
64:51I get all that. OK, great. But the only way that Basial Tootin fails at this point, given the depth chart that
64:58exists around him is if he's not good. Well, if he's not good, then he was never going to be good.
65:04But if he is good again, it's what you win if you turn the card over and it's a win.
65:09If you win, there is no buddy standing in his way.
65:13LaQuint Allen. What team is LaQuint Allen getting traded to where you're like, fuck, he's over.
65:17He's not over anybody like he's not like I mean, I'm not even an anti LaQuint Allen.
65:22He's probably pretty good. But like everybody has a role on the team.
65:26You know, there's always a couple of guys that do stuff.
65:29But in terms of LaQuint Allen wrestling away a starting role from Basial Tootin, if he's actually good, is impossible.
65:35The only way it happens is if Basial gets hurt or if he's terrible, which I don't think if he's terrible, they
65:41wouldn't have acted this way this offseason. Yeah, I mean, this started off as like a Bucky Irving conversation.
65:46Here's our point. Like these guys are ranked below him in the consensus dynasty rankings.
65:51And you and I would be like, oh, yeah, but I mean, even like the older productive running backs are below Bucky, like Derek Henry, Josh Jacobs.
65:59I understand that's like an age thing. DeAndre Swift.
66:01Again, I realize Bucky Irving had a very good higher than expected rookie year.
66:05But last year when he was going like in the second round of redraft, I mean, give me a break.
66:11I mean, that was like an obvious one. If you got him in your rookie draft in the third and fourth round, it's a dynasty win.
66:18But man, I would take I mean, any of those older running backs now.
66:22Yeah. And I think more importantly, I would take all of those other running backs at their value over him.
66:28You know, when when you talk about, you know, if I'm in a startup, I'm passing on Bucky Irving, you know, unless he really falls.
66:35We're like, whoa, why is he still here? Maybe I'll consider him.
66:39But I'm definitely not not going to be the first person to consider drafting Bucky Irving in a startup.
66:44And I don't really you know, I like I said, I'd much rather trade for like rather go Bucky Irving and one
66:51of those guys further down plus something. You know, gosh, if you get Basial plus a second, you know what I mean?
66:57That's the type of deals that are probably out there, maybe a little less now, but they were certainly there, you know, a month ago for sure.
67:05Here's where he went. I just did a startup with a bunch of the guys over like football guys and they Basial tootin one at the seven three.
67:13This is super flex. Right. And there's a nice tight end premium, too.
67:16And but and then Bucky goes at the next running back, but at the 803.
67:21So a full round later and then here's the running backs that went after him just so you can have some context.
67:27Jonathan Brooks, who there's some hope hope there. Right.
67:30Derek Henry and then Josh Jacobs. Right. What we're talking about.
67:33Right. Right. Or J Harvey, DeAndre Swift. So Irving has fallen quite a bit from where he was.
67:38But man, just some of the other position players like would you take Bucky Irving or take a chance on like Kyler Murray?
67:45Like that's who went back to back in this draft.
67:47Uh, boy, it's interesting, right? I mean, what happens if you flip it over and you're right on Kyler Murray?
67:53You got yourself a starting quarterback. Yeah, that's definitely a structure at that point.
67:57I mean, if you have to draft Kyler Murray, I don't love drafting Kyler Murray if I have to, you know, but who else went just after?
68:05Keep going. Sadiq Parker Washington. When I took him four picks after Bucky Irving was.
68:09Wow, that's he's fallen. And what pick was that again?
68:12It was 8.3. Wow. That's pretty late. Yeah. Yeah.
68:15That's what I'm saying. Like, you know, people are maybe this draft was off him, but you know, someone that.
68:20Yeah. I mean, I'll pull up some trades from the Bucky Irving database on OTCFFB.
68:25Bucky Irving basically or Jalen Waddle. Waddle. Right. It was actually Irving and commit for Waddle in 4.04, which is.
68:30I mean, that's the commit part. Nobody. Bucky Irving and a 29 second or CJ Stroud.
68:3529 second. I'll take Stroud. And a wink, wink or Stroud.
68:38I mean, you got to take Stroud if it's super flex, right?
68:42Yeah. Here's a good one. Bucky Irving and a 27 first.
68:45Let's just assume it's mid. Okay. Bucky Irving and a 27 first for CeeDee Lamb and Geno Smith.
68:50I mean, that's a CeeDee Lamb. Oh, the 27.
68:53Right, right, right. Interesting. Okay. So let's call it the 105 and Bucky for CeeDee.
68:57I'm going to take CeeDee Lamb, but that's fair.
68:59That's very close. But just to the point now, you're basically only looking at like the first versus CeeDee Lamb and like valuing Bucky slightly.
69:07You know, he was recently traded for a 27 first, obviously 27 first all day long.
69:11You got it. Yeah. No, listen, Bucky is I think the Bucky hate right here is just based on where he was
69:18last year and then all of the signs pointed to that he's probably going to be like DeAndre Swift, which is perfectly
69:24happy to have him in your lineup. You could start him every week.
69:28But at the same time, man, I think his days of being like considered a top 12 running back in Dynasty.
69:34I mean, that's gone. Here's a couple that happened.
69:36And so Bucky Irving in a 27 second and Bucky Irving in a 27 second, two times, once for Brees Hall, once for Kenneth Walker.
69:43Yeah. I mean, that's the right price, right? I mean, and by the way, Walker versus Hall, it's almost like those guys
69:50have been neck and neck their whole Dynasty career.
69:52Exactly. And then just like you pointed out, actually, Bucky Irving was traded straight up for Parker Washington.
69:57So you're not that far off. Yeah. I mean, ADP wise in this startup that we just finished like a week and a half ago.
70:05I mean, I was and you know what? If Parker Washington was taken, I probably would take Bucky Irving.
70:10So, yeah, I mean, you know, I like that you pointed out that it's a true structure thing with, you know, you
70:16talked about in terms of Kyler Murray. But that makes a lot of sense.
70:20Yeah. I mean, because I mean, you know, if I don't need Kyler Murray, I don't want to have to draft Kyler Murray.
70:27But if I've gotten to a point where, you know, Kyler Murray all of a sudden is a power QB2 for me
70:33when, you know, I've got the rest of my roster filled out.
70:37I like Kyler Murray in that role, you know, in certain builds for sure.
70:41So I do like CJ Stroud as a as a real.
70:44I mean, he's going super late, bro. Yeah. Where do you go in that startup?
70:48Did he go after Kyler Murray? So it's funny you say that.
70:52It's it's a right around. Let's say, you know what?
70:55Because he still has youth. So he goes a little bit earlier in this particular startup.
70:59He went. Let's see. How come I can't find it?
71:02OK, he went at the 605. And here's the.
71:05Yeah. So Mendoza and Dak went ahead of him.
71:07OK. And here's the four QBs that went after CJ Stroud.
71:10Goff. Mayfield. Shook. Darnold. Bryce Young. So you see what happens there.
71:14Yes. Like, yes. Shook is the last one that you feel good about.
71:18Yeah. Right now, the ADP is that Shook goes right ahead of.
71:21Well, let me see. I'm going to actually I'm going to.
71:24We'll start it since May 1st. We'll go May 1st till now.
71:28And what is it about Stroud that you think he could be a riser?
71:32Because I tend to agree with you here. 24 years old, CJ Stroud.
71:35I mean, that's his best asset right now is his age.
71:39Right. And then and then people like the weapons.
71:41Yeah. I mean, I think for CJ, though, it's been like, you know, he's been he's been hated on pretty, pretty terribly.
71:47I think there was also that to use a podfather term, the vividness bias of him really falling on his face in the playoffs.
71:54Right. And I think that has really soured people on him.
71:57They're just like almost embarrassed to draft him. It's like you're like, I just drafted CJ Stroud.
72:02Don't don't tell anybody. You know what I mean?
72:05Well, it's also because he you know, if if you drafted him his sophomore year, so to speak, and you took him
72:11at the one oh two one oh one. I mean, that's where he was kind of, you know, going.
72:17And I think we've learned our lesson now with that.
72:20I mean, you see it right now that, well, I guess Caleb's done it for a couple of years.
72:25Drake Mays has done it for a couple of years.
72:28But, you know, people aren't going to trust one year of production.
72:31And just like, I mean, look at Jackson Dart.
72:34Right. Like Jackson Dart a couple of years ago, he would have been like pick one oh three just with that small sample size.
72:41Now people, OK, I'll take him in round two, maybe late round one.
72:45This happened with Justin Herbert, if you remember, too.
72:47Right. Like after his rookie season, people shot him up to the one oh two.
72:51And then it was disappointing next year. And then the backup.
72:55Yes. Yeah. He fell down and came back up.
72:57I think you're going to see something like that with Stroud, where it's sort of the stock recorrection, where it's like he was too high at one point.
73:05Now he's too low, probably somewhere in between. I mean, if you think about what Stroud really is and what he represents,
73:12he's a really solid QB two in fantasy. Right.
73:14Like that's what he is. Like there's a floor there.
73:17He's not going to he's not going to be one of those guys that get seven fantasy points.
73:22And you're like, oh, you're like on a bad day is going to give you that 1415.
73:27And then there's obviously upside. But that would Nico Collins and he's as steady as you go.
73:32That's it. So my my big follower is someone that is it's kind of interesting.
73:36It's a life lesson. Because the the mantra in many ways of this show is be ready to be wrong.
73:42Always be ready to change your opinion on something based off of how that information and new information comes to light.
73:48And R.J. Harvey. R.J. Harvey was someone who I was singing praises of pre draft.
73:52I loved R.J. Harvey as a prospect. I still love R.J.
73:56Harvey as a football player. I think he's a good football player.
73:59It's a lot like the run out for Kenny Gainwell in some ways.
74:03I actually think Kenny Gainwell is probably a better all around football player than R.J.
74:07Harvey period. Full stop. But that's not the point.
74:10The point was, is that I love Kenny Gainwell coming out.
74:13But the NFL sort of pigeonholed him as a pass down only back.
74:16That was all he was. Well, I think what we saw with R.J.
74:20Harvey and R.J. Harvey right now going as like RB 26 in startups and, you know, I keep trade call this stuff.
74:27The value is basically is a borderline RB two.
74:29I don't even. How? How is this possible? Like he's Javante Williams age.
74:33He's never done anything. He's going to probably only get one contract.
74:36He's now behind J.K. Dobbins. And there's another rookie who's come in who's a better all around, all purpose running back.
74:42Where does R.J. Harvey fit in and how is he going to get me fantasy points in 2026?
74:47How is he going at this at this valuation?
74:50I think it's going to fall precipitously. So you think even though he's down about seven or eight spots to RB 28, like he's off.
74:57He's out of the RB 40. He's in the RB 40 range this time next year.
75:02Yep. Wow. OK. All right. So that like you think we're going to start thinking about him, how we think of like Tyrone Tracy.
75:09Yeah. Someone like that. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, the signs aren't good at that.
75:13Well, first of all, that that team has used a committee for, you know, they'll sprinkle in like, you know, Jaleel McLaughlin last year and guys like that.
75:21Remember Tyler Batty? Yeah. Yeah. Bidet. You know, he's getting, he's getting sprinkled in.
75:25But yes, he is getting exactly sprinkled in. Yes, exactly.
75:28He's getting wiped clean, you know, the, but it's interesting is because they took, they took RJ Harvey like a full round
75:35of where ahead of where everyone thought he was going to go.
75:38So they reach for him. So maybe he's just not dead yet, but the problem was he really didn't do much except
75:44he did catch a lot of touchdowns. That was interesting.
75:47And, you know, you've been playing fantasy long enough where, you know, that's not sticky year to year.
75:52No, no. Touchdowns in and of themselves are not sticky, let alone receiving touchdowns out of the backfield.
75:58Probably not very sticky. And the other thing here is like the biggest, the biggest damning piece of information for me was
76:04that when Dobbins went down, we, they tried to be like RJ Harvey's a guy and they just couldn't do it.
76:10He couldn't do it. He did have some big games.
76:13I still love RJ Harvey. Let me just tell you.
76:16I just think that the, this isn't a me take.
76:19This is me thinking what they think take. And they brought JK Dobbins back.
76:23JK Dobbins saying, I'm going to be the RB one in fantasy this year.
76:27Like he feels like he's a starter. And then on top of that, Jonah Coleman comes in and they're like, yeah, he can pass block.
76:34Oh, that's the death sentence thing. You didn't have someone who could pass block.
76:38That's right. Are they talking about you RJ? You know, so it's like, there's just sort of these little things.
76:44And, and I, you know, who's to say that Jonah Coleman isn't just straight up better than RJ Harvey.
76:49That's not like a crazy take. Like, I'm not saying he specifically is.
76:53I'm saying it's what are the odds? Like 40%, 50%.
76:56I don't know there, but they're closer to that than they are to zero.
77:00Like he's definitely in the running of being a guy who plays ahead of them.
77:04It's possible. Uh, I, you know, they're not just going to throw him out there because he's a second round pick.
77:10That's not going to work. I never heard the pass blocking quote.
77:13And that is a death sentence for anyone like you.
77:16That's the key to getting on the field is being able to protect the quarterback.
77:21We love the fantasy stuff and that's nothing to do with fantasy.
77:24But if you, that's the coach speak quote that you should underline when you hear it and log it, cause that means you can get on the field.
77:32Let me ask you this. This is, this would be a dynasty trade.
77:36If you want to get out of RJ Harvey, you think he's a falling knife.
77:40Uh, let's bring it back to Travis Hunter. Which one of those guys would you rather have on your dynasty roster?
77:46Why do you have to do this to me?
77:49I guess probably RJ Harvey. I don't know. I don't even know.
77:52All right. I didn't think you close. I mean, yeah.
77:55Or I'll give you your choice. Like, okay, I'm going to take RJ Harvey off of you, but you, I'll give you a choice.
78:02One of the one year guys, Devante Adams or Mike Evans.
78:05You could have either one. Yeah. Evans. So you want Evans over RJ Harvey?
78:09Yeah. If, if I'm, if, if Evans is a starter in the league that I'm playing and obviously, right.
78:15In other words, I don't mean a starter on my team.
78:18Cause that could mean my team sucks. I mean, a starter in the league that I play in, like for sure, no
78:24matter what roster he's on, he'd be a starter type of thing.
78:27It's a deep, you know, type of thing that I want Mike Evans, you know, because that means he's cause where he's going to play.
78:35He could be what redraft. Where's he going right now?
78:38Redraft in the best ball in like the fourth round.
78:40Right. It's like, that's a real wide receiver. You know, we were going to talk about San Francisco.
78:46Where's the value in San Francisco? Cause that's a question I wanted to ask you.
78:50What do you think? Like, cause I think there's a sneaky player there that I hate even mentioning his name, but I'll just leave it to you.
78:58So where do you think the value lies in the San Francisco passing game?
79:02I mean, I was going to say in Mike Evans, right?
79:05Like now, um, now you said you don't like Deshaun shriveling, right?
79:08I'm curious about that because he set up there.
79:11I'm giving you the exact, I want to give you the exact number on Mike Evans right now.
79:16Yeah. Mike Evans is pick 44. That's the end of the fourth round.
79:20So, yeah, I would, it's funny you say it.
79:22Cause I would say Mike Evans is the sneaky value here, but again, that doesn't come without risk.
79:27Where do you think that there's some hidden value?
79:30I do think it's Mike Evans as well, but I also think like.
79:34Jake Tonjes? Uh, he could actually, because when's Kittle back?
79:37I mean, I mean, if you're, if you're betting that Kittle's out four games, Tonjes is a touchdown or bust guy, but he's in play.
79:44He's in play. I just wonder like Pure Saul, Stripling, Christian Kirk.
79:47I forgot about Kirk. I forgot about him. Christian Kirk?
79:50Yeah. Wait, hold on a minute. Christian Kirk is an NFL football player who's had been targeted pretty, pretty consistently over his career.
79:57Yeah, it's a good one. On a team that where if you're a pro and you just run the right route, you're open across the middle.
80:04And I don't know, I've heard weirder things than, I don't know, Christian Kirk sees 110 targets in San Francisco and, you
80:11know, just has a Wandel Robinson-esque season. This is a good take here, Jax.
80:15This is a good take. I don't even like saying it, but I just think it's possible.
80:19And he's free everywhere. Wide receiver 104 in the Consensus Dynasty rankings.
80:23I bet he finishes higher than a wide receiver 104.
80:26I mean, that is insane. Yeah, that's a good one.
80:29You know what? That's we often like joke that there's no such thing as a fantasy football sleeper anymore.
80:34Right. I think Christian Kirk qualifies as a real because we know all the players.
80:38Nobody wants him. Doesn't get drafted. Kyle Shanahan offense.
80:41Mike Evans, he hasn't been the picture of consistent health.
80:44And then you're talking about a rookie that they drafted because of the blocking.
80:48Right. Right. So wide receiver 104. Here's who's going around him.
80:51Xavier Leggett, Deontay Thornton, and Isaiah Bond. Right. Oh, yeah.
80:54Oh, yeah. Yeah. Tyreek Hill, wide receiver 105. Calvin Ridley, 106.
80:57I mean, these are the type of players, you know, guys that are not on teams or that are, you know, this
81:03is the this is literally the dynasty graveyard right here.
81:06The dynasty graveyard. So, you know, Christian Kirk, you could see it, man.
81:10You know, you take them, you get them as a throw in and then you have at least a month of five for 70, six for 48.
81:18You know, those 10 PPR points that if you're playing in a league that starts 10 or more players, he's your last flex option.
81:25Right. I, you know, there's obviously a floor where he just doesn't play.
81:28I get that. Like easy. Yeah. He's not guaranteed for playing time.
81:32I freely admit that. And they did just draft stripling.
81:35They do have pure saw and they have Evans.
81:37So he could be a guy that doesn't play.
81:40I see that. But there's also a world where stripling is just not the starter and it's, you know, it's pure saw Kirk and Evans.
81:47And Kirk commands targets at a somewhat normal level that he's commanded his whole career in an offense.
81:52That's a little bit exciting. And he's the wide receiver 42 or 48 or something, you know, where he's just, you know,
81:59he's getting six, like you say, five for 70.
82:01And you're like, Christian Kirk again, you know? Now, I think part of the reason nobody likes him is there's not really any conceivable ceiling.
82:08I mean, I guess the ceiling comes from the inevitable Mike Evans hamstring injury.
82:12You know, when then they're like, whoa, we're really searching for some answers at wide receiver.
82:17That's probably the only way that there's any real ceiling in Christian Kirk where then he's actually in the running for wide receiver one on that team.
82:25Well, not being, not being weird. That's real. Yeah.
82:27So fine. So like week eight, you know, when, when injuries hit and there's by chaos and all that stuff, and you
82:34look down at your roster and you're like, okay, Mike Evans is out this week.
82:38You know, Ricky Pearsall has been shot in the ass or whatever he's, you know, and then, and shriveling has got, you
82:44know, six catches on the entire year. Now that's, that's a true, I said it before, but you don't see many like
82:51true end of the roster, roster clogger types that actually have upside.
82:54That's a very good call. Production though. That's one of those things where if you're in a deep league, you can, you
83:00can find a guy that I traded for him last year and it didn't work out, but I still sort of have
83:07them on one of these rosters where I traded for him for dirty production.
83:11And you know, Couldn't drop them. Couldn't drop them.
83:13Right. Well, I'm, I am a, I am a pack rat when it comes to these players, but I play mostly deep
83:20leagues too, but you know, he's, he's the definition of both a roster clogger on a shallow league and a, and a potential upside play.
83:27If you're very shallow at wide receiver where you've just got a couple of guys that you can throw in there and I'm generally built that way.
83:34So he's not even like a roster clogger on that particular roster.
83:38He's just one of the sort of seven or eight wide receivers I've got.
83:42As much as we like these deep leagues, these start 13 type of stuff.
83:46I think that, you know, I was just thinking about the other day that it's bad.
83:51I think I'm getting back into the shallower stuff.
83:53I'm playing more shower format because I think it keeps the, I don't know where you love the deeper too.
83:59So I guess. Yeah. I think maybe 12 by 12s are fine.
84:02That's plenty. That's deep. That's still deep. 10 is I think.
84:05Yeah. 10 is like 10. We say shallow. Nine is shallow.
84:0911 is probably standard. 12, 13 is deep. I played a 14 by 14, which feels super deep.
84:14Very, very difficult. How do you keep people engaged in that one?
84:17It is hard. You know, you really have to either go in or out.
84:21Like right now I'm, I'm, my team is, I have like two good players.
84:25It's like Patrick Holmes and Justin Herbert because everything else is stripped to picks and everything.
84:30So yeah, it's a totally different type of play.
84:32I mean, it's very difficult. It's very hard to dig out of those holes, man.
84:37Cause that's what happens. That team that I just mentioned was two time champion the last, not last year, the two years before that last year fell short.
84:45I realized I have to really, you know, so it's a very dramatic move.
84:49You can't just set stand pat in those leagues because you just get bled dry.
84:53Right. Cause if you, if you lose a player, like one player and God forbid two or three, your season's over in week six.
85:00Yeah, for sure. Yeah. There's no replacing. There's nowhere to go.
85:03There's nowhere to go. Those are brutal. Yeah, that's right.
85:06That's exactly right. And again, that's why I've, I've enjoyed playing a lot of FFPC because those leagues are a little more shallow start nine.
85:13And then I like the mix, but I find those leagues like at least you have, you always feel like you have a chance.
85:20Yes, that's true. Speaking of having a chance, we had a chance to talk to Mr.
85:25Alan Soslowski, Alan, tell the people where they can find you.
85:28We'll probably have one more little topic before I let you go, but I do want to let everybody hear where they can find you at Roto-Wire.
85:36Tell, tell the people. So Alan underscore Soslowski. I am now an underscore Jack's eye fell for the boomer hack.
85:41I don't know if you know about this, right?
85:44Tell me about it. I'm sure I'm susceptible. This is a, this is, this is a public service message for anyone.
85:50I'm telling you, these hackers are getting so clever.
85:53I was on a podcast just like if I was on with you right here and I was on with some guy
85:59and then that, and he was so nice to me on the podcast.
86:03Then I get off the podcast and there's a link, there's a message, a DM from him in my, in my Twitter.
86:09And it says, Hey, it says, it was great having you on the podcast.
86:13I'm in this podcast contest. Can you vote for me for like, whatever?
86:17And I go, wow. This fucking guy wants me to vote.
86:20Like, I was like, how is like, you know what?
86:23He was so complimentary and all this stuff. So I go there, I click on the link and my Twitter account, which wasn't huge.
86:30There's a few thousand people, but I spent like 15 years, like, you know, getting it how I want to.
86:35And my whole account was seized. Right. And Twitter has no help.
86:39You actually were DMing me on the old account.
86:41I told you that's not my account anymore. Don't go over there.
86:45So if you ever get it and it, and it was like posting about Bitcoin.
86:49And so I tried to do all the customer service stuff for Twitter and they have no human help.
86:55I get a hold of someone who knows someone at Twitter.
86:58They get, they get me my account back and they think I'm the hacker and they just like wiped it out.
87:04Yeah. So, so bottom line is I had to do Alan underscore.
87:07I'm with the dreaded underscore says Lowski now. Wow.
87:10Don't click on any link. I'm telling, we used to make fun of our parents for stuff like this.
87:15You know what's, you know what's crazy? I sent, uh, the OTC FFB link to everybody.
87:20You know, I was like, Hey, check out my thing that I'm doing.
87:24Nobody clicks. No, no, listen, listen to the best one.
87:26You'll love, you'll love this. So a lot of people of course may, may not have, that's fine.
87:32No begrudging, but you know, meaning like, cause they think you're a hacker.
87:35Yes. So, so Andrew Cooper, my good friend, Andrew Cooper, he, he messages back.
87:39He goes, look, before I click on it, I need to make sure it's you.
87:44Can you say a random, a random, uh, you know, Boston Red Sox player.
87:48So I know it's you, Scott. And I go, Marty Barrett.
87:51He goes, all right, fine. Thanks bro. I was like, he's like, I just don't trust any of this shit anymore.
87:57I'm not clicking on anything. I'm like, bro, it's me, Marty Barrett, FT dubs.
88:01You know, don't let anybody tell you, uh, you know, whatever.
88:04And I just went off. Dude, but that's in the future.
88:07It's going to be like, you know, so, Hey, your voice is going to be copyable.
88:12AI. I'm telling you, it's the craziest thing. The world would be so lucky when they can copy that voice of mine.
88:18I know. I'm telling you, AI is if you messed around with AI at all for your work, how are you guys integrating it with work?
88:26I mean, you know, I mean, look, I mean, everybody's using AI.
88:29I mean, I find it to be a, you know, an assistant, someone who can tell me what I need to be doing.
88:36I find it to be something that can help me with, you know, Hey, I'm, I'm, I'm cooking something at home, but I don't have this.
88:43I just have that. Print me the recipe for the thing that I was trying to do, but I only have this instead of that.
88:50Make sure I don't fuck this up or like a mill.
88:53I do a million things, you know, research like fantasy football, like, yeah, sure.
88:57Like when I'm driving, I'll talk to the AI and be like, Hey, what about this?
89:02And then they'll say some stupid shit. Cause AI is fucking dumb.
89:06And I'm like, listen, you're a fucking idiot. Stop saying that.
89:09Cause you sound stupid. Now, listen, what I need you to do, you know, I talked to him like that.
89:14I have so much fun with it. You know, I talked to him like he's like, it's so much fun, you know,
89:21cause you can say these things like, you know what?
89:24You're right. I'm sorry. You know, you're like, nobody, fuck you.
89:27Don't tell me I'm stupid. So it's just really incredible to have these conversations.
89:31I absolutely love them. They're entertaining for me, but then I'll also get some information and be like, listen, go do this right.
89:37You dumb fuck, you know? And then, you know, I asked you a very specific question.
89:42I always say, you know, I asked you, boom, boom, boom.
89:45Can you please do it the way I asked and stop doing it?
89:49You're being very insubordinate. You know what I mean?
89:51I mean, yeah, no, I, I, um, so anyway, that's the, the long short of Alan underscore Soslowski AI is going to
89:58get in, kill you and get all of us.
90:00But at where I work over at Roto-Wire, they're a very AI forward company.
90:04Like they kind of, you know, I'm glad they do jam it down our throats.
90:09They really like, they force us like once a month, there's a class mandatory have to take.
90:14Um, because of, uh, idiots like me that are clicking on links.
90:17Also, we have to do our, uh, yeah. All right.
90:20Well, I'm going to let you finish, but we're going to do one more.
90:24I got to ask you, Jonathan Brooks or, or Rico, no, not Rico Donald or Chuba Hubbard.
90:29Sorry. Right. I mean, it's a dynasty take. It has to be Jonathan Brooks, right?
90:33Like, okay. So what about just for 2026? Right.
90:36I'd still think it's, that's kind of the question.
90:38Yeah. And I, and I think that also we just like Trevor ETN, like you don't care.
90:43Like, I still think that that's a possibility, right?
90:46I mean, I'm not dumping him on it. Like you, have you cut him off any rosters?
90:51No, no. Yeah. Um, Raheem, Taj Brooks, all those guys you're holding on to all those last year, day three guys.
90:57What's interesting when this is a, I'll leave the people with a game theory tip whenever I'm cutting, like, you know, cause
91:03that's the other thing too, by the way, we all do the, the thing we have our roster full, the draft is
91:09coming up and you have a first three seconds, four thirds.
91:12And you're not gonna be able to fit these guys on your roster.
91:16So you should really think about that. That's one of the reasons that you always trade for future first too, because by
91:23the time you put all those rookies on your roster, then you look, you're like cut 17 players.
91:28Like, well, what the fuck did I even pick these motherfuckers for?
91:31It happens to me all the time. It happens to everybody all the time.
91:35So anyway, but when you're doing that, you do want to have a plan for that before the draft.
91:41So that's number one, but subsequent, you have to call these players.
91:44When I'm looking at cutting players, I prioritize running backs as DNCs.
91:47Like I try to almost always split the ties by going to a different position, cut a different position than running back
91:54because running backs are any man on a 53 Trevor ETN.
91:57While he's the third stringer, I'd rather cut Rashad Bateman, you know, more difficultly than Trevor ETN.
92:02Well, let me ask you this, like, cause I have that same situation where I have the Taj Brooks, Trevor ETN guys,
92:08and I'm looking at like Michael Mayer and Pat Friermuth on my roster.
92:12And like, you know, we had a lot of hope for those guys, but I mean, it's probably over, right?
92:18For both of those guys. Yeah, exactly. I mean, that's a, that's a tough part too.
92:22Obviously, you know, is it a tight end premium?
92:25How many tight ends do I have ahead of them?
92:28A lot of times I'll look, it's a non tight end.
92:31And I have like likely and McBride and give me the situation.
92:34It's like, what the fuck do I need mayor for?
92:37I don't need that. That's obvious. Like, you're right.
92:40You know, I'm good. No, I'm glad you said that.
92:43Cause you're right. Cause that gives people permission to cut this guy who you were.
92:47But like, I have Travis Kelsey in this one league ahead of him.
92:51We know this is the last hurrah. I have Pat Fry.
92:54Give me the roster. The whole roster. Yes. Go, go right down.
92:57Yeah. Go ahead. Okay. I mean, let's do it.
93:00We'll end with a roster review. People love this shit.
93:03Yeah. Okay. Let me, this is their favorite thing that could ever do.
93:06Roster reviews are their favorite. People love it. Do you do like private roster reviews with people?
93:11Not so much. I got busy. I mean, you can't afford me.
93:15Cause I see Scott do that with the people.
93:17I was like, oh my God, that sounds horrible to sit there and do all that.
93:22Okay. Roster review. You really want this? Okay. All right.
93:25Yep. You asked for it. Son of a bitch.
93:27All right. So my quarter, so it's super flex, the three receivers, three flex, and it's a 1.5 tight in premium.
93:33Okay. Three receivers, three flex plus the, plus the, plus the key.
93:3712 team. So my run, uh, I'm good on running back.
93:40I have Derek Henry and Javante. They're my two starters.
93:43Okay. Okay. We're good there. My two quarterbacks are Baker Mayfield and Aaron Rogers.
93:47Not good. Yeah. Not good. But that's, this is where it gets good.
93:51Jack's. Okay. I have Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Drake London.
93:54Woo. That's my threesome. That's great. You see where I put the assets.
93:58Yep. Okay. Love that. I told you I have Travis Kelsey as the, as the tight end.
94:02Okay. Okay. Now here's my three flexes. Devontae Adams, Marvin Harrison, and Aaron Jones.
94:06Okay. Yeah. So you want me to keep going with all the garbage on my roster?
94:11I need to hear the garbage now. Go ahead.
94:14Just go fast. So as you, okay. Now go fast.
94:17So I loaded up on the quarterbacks because of my situation.
94:20So I have Baygent, Michael Penix, Kirk Cousins, and, uh, then a bunch of backups like Mason Rudolph, uh, Drew Locke, Trey Lance, Tyra Taylor, Andy Dalton.
94:27I mean, you see what I'm doing here. And then four more roster spots, Marshawn Lloyd, uh, Sean Tucker, um, Malik Washington, Pat Fryermuth, Keenan Allen.
94:35And then I, and then a bunch of, uh, then I got three taxi guys, uh, rocket Sanders, Trevor ETN, and Kalen black.
94:42You have a, it's only a three taxi. Three taxi.
94:44I hate. Yeah. But that's all you can have is three.
94:48That's all you can have is three taxi. Okay.
94:50So it seems to me like you've got some quarterbacks that you could definitely let go that are may never play again.
94:56Like who? Like Andy Dalton and Derek Carr. I think, yeah.
95:00I, I, I think Dalton's done right. I mean, he's listed as the QB two on the Eagles.
95:05Is he really? I mean, he's, I mean, right now he is.
95:08That's crazy. How old is he? He is 38 years old, but if Jalen hurts gets hurt, man, you know, I mean,
95:15right now here's, here's what the QB room looks like.
95:17It's Dalton Tanner McKee. And then they drafted Cole Payton.
95:20Why can't he be the next Kirk Cousins for like six weeks?
95:24Yeah, he could actually. God, you, you know, and, and what's the, what's the league think?
95:28Like who's your, uh, who's your, you know, who's the most, uh, you know, rostered non-rostered player?
95:33Like what are there? Are quarterbacks available? Are there like, no, it's like Zacchaeus is the highest projected, you know, the league values quarterback.
95:40Yeah. I mean, probably cause I have seven of them.
95:43I'm on my damn roster. You know, mind that because it's not like, yeah, I mean, you're not playing anybody over Devante Adam, you know what I mean?
95:51You're not going to play. I mean, but I could like some of those guys go.
95:56Cause look, these are the quarterbacks that are on the waiver.
95:59That's what I want to hear. Minshew, Milrow, Mariota and Will Levis and Rattler.
96:03Yeah. I'd rather have Milrow than. I didn't even know he was.
96:06I mean, really? Yeah. If, if, uh, if Seattle, if Sam Darnold goes down, don't you think Drew Locke would be the guy?
96:13Well, one of them, you have both of them at that point.
96:16Then at least you have them. And actually Milrow is worth starting, you know, Dalton.
96:21Here's what happens. Dalton, you know, if he is starting, I don't think anybody pays you for him.
96:26I might need him. Maybe. Right. Right. Maybe. But if you're banking, if that, at that point you're banking on him, you're probably in trouble.
96:33Based on your advice. I just, I did it with Derek Carr.
96:36I did the Milrow pickup and I dropped Derek Carr.
96:39Yeah, for sure. For sure. You got to pick up Milrow.
96:42And then here's some of the other pickups I was doing.
96:46Hold on. Like Justice Hill is out there. Yeah.
96:48I have Justice Hill over that quarterback too, I think.
96:51And then Austin Eckler. Do you have Derek Henry?
96:54Yes. That's what I'm saying. You need Justice Hill immediately.
96:56Okay. All right. So, see, I've neglected. See, if I'd used your tool, I wouldn't have neglected this roster.
97:02That's right. That's right. But back to the original premise though.
97:05Yeah. Like Pat Fryermuth, when you only have Travis Kelsey on your roster, you would clip him like that?
97:11No, I'd hang on to Fryermuth. I mean, because I actually think you'll start Fryermuth.
97:15You'll start Fryermuth. Okay. Maybe not every day or whatever, but he might be in your lineup.
97:20I mean. Just as a desperation, maybe he catches a touchdown and I hit it on the right one.
97:25Fryermuth is okay. I'd have to look at his finish.
97:28I mean, he was okay. He's not like, I'm not like excited to start him, but yeah, you've got to, I mean,
97:34he's top 20 starting tight end in the NFL.
97:37I mean, somewhere in there. I don't know, man.
97:40They got Washington. I mean, it's Aaron Rodgers. They have all these other guys.
97:44It's not great. Yep. Do you really enjoy that roster review?
97:47That seemed like that was that you did not enjoy that.
97:50Yeah. No, no, no. You were good. You were good.
97:53But I'm saying it seems like roster review is you thought that would be a good thing and it ended up being boring for you.
98:00Was it boring for me? Yeah. Was it? I don't think so.
98:03Cause you just got Jalen Milrow and justice Hill.
98:06I think those are great pickups. You need to start.
98:09There was some actual intel here. The thing that I feel is that you have to always be churning the bottom of
98:15your roster looking for, cause justice Hill is an injustice to be on the waiver wire.
98:20So just drop drew locked in for Jalen Milrow.
98:22At least that's the guy that you would do that too, right?
98:26You know, yeah. I think Jalen Milrow for sure over some of these, cause you have Penix too.
98:31You have Penix and Cousins. So you're not really starting Dalton.
98:34If who gets hurt? Rogers. Well, remember now is, um, uh, what's his name is on, uh, is on Las Vegas now.
98:40Cousins is on Las Vegas. Yeah. So right. Cause he, he's going to theoretically could start.
98:45You think he's going to start week one? Mm-hmm.
98:48Wow. Okay. Yeah. I think Cousins starts. That's a bold take.
98:51I mean, I guess that's what they want to do, right?
98:54I mean, number one overall pick is going to sit, huh?
98:57We haven't seen that. I think it's a start.
99:00That is good. Since Mahone. No, number one overall.
99:02I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I was just thinking, yeah, you're right.
99:05Maybe number one overall is a little bit different.
99:08I don't know. Maybe he won't start. Maybe, maybe you're right.
99:11Hmm. You think, you think Mendoza comes out of the box to starter?
99:15I mean, how could he, if he beats out Kirk Cousins in training camp, how can they not start him week one?
99:21But you're right. Now you're making me think about this.
99:24It's, I mean, you remember when Deshaun Watson was a rookie?
99:27Tom Savage started week one and at halftime they switched.
99:30They were like, fucking. Yeah. I mean, that's, that's what I'm saying.
99:34Like that was like the veteran deference era. That was like the Jeff Fisher sort of like old school coaches.
99:39Now, you know, I know Brady wants Mendoza to be developed.
99:42I think Watson was ready to go. He was just stuck in the training room getting rubbed down.
99:48That's right. He was all backed up. Yeah. Anyway, on that note, we're going to let it go.
99:53You're Jax. You're the best man. Thanks. You know me.
99:56And not only am I glad for our friendship, I'm a huge fan.
