0:00Are all batteries the same? That's like asking if all soccer players are the same.
0:05Take Messi, the most decorated player ever. Is there any other player who has achieved that?
0:09No, just him. Now take Duracell. Is there any other battery with Power Boost ingredients inside?
0:14No, just Duracell. Remember, goats only trust goats because they're built different and Messi only trusts Duracell.

0:46How pros get more done. Hey, my name is Michael Wilson and you're listening to the Man, the Podfather.
0:51Buckle up. Buckle up. There's some breaking news and it's not breaking at all.
0:56Old news that is breaking for our purposes because we haven't talked about it yet on the Mind of Mansion program.
1:02The Ravens offensive coordinator, Declan Doyle, is being called a human computer.
1:06He is a smart guy. He's very young. He's much younger than me.
1:10We'll talk about how young he is in a minute.
1:13He's very young. He's too young. But he's very smart and he's a high achiever and he's very competent to get to that level.
1:20Offensive coordinator at this young age. You have to be good.
1:23Good at your job. And so, so often that's why these young coordinators, they get the wonder kind treatment because they have
1:30to be to get to that point. So soon they're calling him a human computer.
1:34A human computer is a bit of a stretch because there's not any new personnel groupings.
1:39It's just frequency of personnel groupings. Like for example, Sean McVay, right?
1:43Sean McVay decides we're going to start using a lot of 13 personnel.
1:47Inside the 20 and not just on the goal line.
1:50Like he didn't invent 13 personnel, but he decided to do a new application of it.
1:55And then now that is the, the, the en vogue trend around the league.
1:59And that's the big question. Everyone's asking each and every team, how much 12 and 13 personnel are they going to run this year versus last year?
2:07And so on. Declan Doyle, he seems to be getting along great with Lamar Jackson, nothing but praise for him.
2:13What do you think this means for Ravens players that they have a creative mind?
2:18I mean, you know, I think this is kind of the, the kick they needed, right?
2:23You know, like you were, things were just getting really stale in Baltimore.
2:27So now you bring in this, this new guy and he's like, I've been rewatching Ted Lasso.
2:32So he's like a, a Nate Shelley, you know, kind of type, you know, like bring him in the new smart kid on the scene.
2:39And I think this is, this is really exciting for them.
2:43Everybody seems to be really pumped up about it.
2:45They're really into him. I think say flowers called him a dog the other day and said, he's a dog.
2:51He's a dog and a human computer. Like that's a lot.
2:55Was it? No, that was the kid. Anyway, that's what just came to mind.
2:59But, um, you know, I, yeah. Pet robot. Yes.
3:02Yes. Uh, but you know, he's, he's only a few months older than Lamar Jackson.
3:06I think like 10 months older than Lamar Jackson, which is just insane to me.
3:11He's only 10 months older than Lamar Jackson. We have a photo here.
3:15This is a photo of Declan Doyle. Here it is.
3:18Declan Doyle. This is him. Standard issue white man.
3:20Like he's got the, he's got my sort of a white man haircut.
3:24He's got the, the, the thin beard, like the trimmed beard, not super thin, but trimmed, well trimmed beard.
3:30He looks a lot like Bob from Mad Men.
3:33So we put a Bob from Mad Men up there.
3:36Look, Bob from Mad Men, standard issue white man.
3:39But also there is a Declan Doyle. Not to be confused.
3:42Who's an actor. That Declan Doyle. Right. So we have Declan Doyle, the sports personality, offensive coordinator and Declan Doyle, the entertainment personality in Los Angeles.
3:50Here is Declan Doyle, the actor. He does. He looks a little more intense than, than our Declan Doyle.
3:56If you say, oh, well, Declan Doyle doesn't really look like Bob from the off, Bob from the Mad Men office.
4:02Well, actually he does. I mean, we compare this guy to this guy.
4:06They look nothing alike. You compare this guy to this guy.
4:09Well, that's kind of similar. Show me the difference.
4:12It's like the Pam from the office meme. There's no difference.
4:15There is no difference. These are the same. This is just a beard.
4:19That's all it is. Same guy, same guy, same smirk.
4:22It's like, like, like, like every guy on the dating apps.
4:26It's exactly what they all look like. He just needs to hold a fish.
4:30That's, that would be the only, only thing I'd change.
4:33I haven't been on the dating apps in, in a long time.
4:36I, I, I can't imagine what it's like. No, no, it's not fun.
4:40It is a grind. It is a grind. It's there is a dating app called grinder.
4:45Isn't there? I've heard of that. I don't think that I'm the target audience for that.
4:50From what I understand about that app, but I'd love to get on grinder.
4:54It sounds like a great, great time. Was that Declan Doyle?
4:58Did I just hear Declan Doyle? I thought I heard Declan Doyle.
5:01That sounds like a sound effect. That was a real dog.
5:05That's a real dog. I think it's Declan Doyle.
5:07I think Deca he's infiltrated the show. That is my dog.
5:11Rio, Rio. He was like very, very into that noise.
5:14I think he heard, he was talking about Declan Doyle and he was like, this guy's a dog.
5:19He's like, somebody said dog. That's me. That's my cue.
5:22Yeah. Sorry. I have a lot of Zay Flowers.
5:25I've been drafting a lot of Zay Flowers and a lot of startups.
5:29Anyone podfather at road to one world.com. You can invite me to your startup.
5:33I love startups. I take over orphans. I'm doing it all the time.
5:37I now I'm over 25 leagues that I'm in.
5:40And I've been looking at my, my roster percentage.
5:42I don't have a lot of Lamar flowers because I've traded by Lamar.
5:46I had a couple of Lamars in on orphans and because he is going to start to wind down his rushing production
5:53over the next few years, I've decided to unload him.
5:56If you feel like you can't win in the near term and you have Lamar Jackson, you got to trade him.
6:02And so I did. I, we, we talked about it in the trade God show.
6:07I did these trades with getting multiple first rounders and, you know, some of these, uh, sexy sleepers that I like.
6:13And so we're happy with the happy with the, the, I mean, I was looking at my King's classic dynasty team and it is such a barren cupboard.
6:22It's unbelievable. It is on, but, but, but, but Hey, we've got like three firsts next year, three first, the year after
6:28multiple seconds, multiple thirds each and every year, the next two years.
6:32So we're going to rebuild this thing. It's going to be fun.
6:36It's just a process. We're going to keep checking in on that team.
6:40And it's a process. It's a very deep league in that the taxi squad is like more than 10 guys.
6:46Have you seen leagues like this where it's all rookies?
6:49You can, it's just basically every single rookie would be rostered if everyone took advantage of all of the roster spots that are available.
6:56But I looked around and I saw very few teams that are actually taking advantage of all of the roster spots.
7:02So just take it, take a look at this for a second.
7:06Take a look at this. We're going to put this up on the screen here.
7:11And that's the King class. That's a 14 team league, right?
7:14King's classic is 12 teams. 12. Okay. All right.
7:17This is a, this is a, I believe it's 12.
7:20Yes. It's 12 teams. Absolutely. Cause we just wrapped the rookie draft.
7:23It was the longest rookie draft in my lifetime.
7:26I've never seen a rookie draft this long and you can see we're now down to Bryce Young at quarterback.
7:32Okay. But we have, as you can see the Bryce Young, Jalen Coker stack, right?
7:37I don't have the Lamar Jackson flowers stack. I would have, but I also, I did the trade for flowers after I
7:43had already traded Lamar Jackson away that this was a trade or I acquired flowers.
7:48I gave up Bucky Irving. Those are the two signature pieces of that deal.
7:52You like that deal, right? In general, the material assets that are being exchanged is flowers on one side, Bucky Irving on the other.
7:59You like my, my side of the deal. Oh yeah, absolutely.
8:03I do. Yeah. I'm not into Bucky this year.
8:05I'm, I'm taking all the Kenny Gain wall and Sean Tucker that I can get.
8:10Um, I'm just not feeling it with Bucky this year.
8:13Not at all. Not at, and especially not at his price.
8:16So go to patreon.com slash podfather, patreon.com slash podfather.
8:19I posted my top 10 dynasty stacks based on my ownership and Bryce Young and Jalen Coker.
8:24That stack, the young Coker stack was absolutely on that list.
8:27I don't have any young Tett McMillan, whatever Tett McMillan I have.
8:31I don't have young, whatever young I have. I don't have Tett McMillan.
8:35It's hard. It's a lot harder to stack in dynasty than it is in best ball.
8:40And if you keep, I'm going to keep scrolling.
8:43So my wide receiver room is veille Coker and flowers, which isn't bad until I tell you my running backs are George Halani and Marshawn Lloyd.
8:50I do have a Rondé Gadsden. I managed to not trade him away.
8:54My second quarterback is Michael Phoenix and we have Zach Charbonnet.
8:58And then it's mostly, it's mostly Tez Johnson, Luke Schoonamaker.
9:01It's just, it's really bad. And then look at this, look at this taxi squad.
9:05Look how, look how, how, how many roster spots are devoted just to taxi.
9:09I like Dylan Sampson though. Yeah. Yeah. You have Sampson.
9:13I got to promote him out of taxi, Ollie Gordon, Caleb Johnson, Tyler Warren.
9:17So I do have Tyler Warren on this team.
9:19I have Laquin Allen. I have a bunch of these, these second year players are going to have to promote from the taxi squad.
9:27Eventually Mendoza's in there. Ty Simpson's in there. Ty Simpson's going to stay there.
9:31I drafted Chris Bell. I drafted Ted Hurst. You can see this is clearly a rebuilding team, but it just keeps going and going and going and going.
9:39Yeah. My rookie tight ends that I've stashed. This is tight end premium.
9:43Hibner, Jolie, Causey all trig. I just picked up trig and you can see it just keeps going and going and going.
9:50Look how many, that's a lot of taxi squad and there's still more space.
9:54Every night I've been doing transactions to try to fill up my, I don't think anyone else is, is taking the roster
10:01spots that are available, particularly the taxi squad and using them all.
10:05I'm maybe the only one in the league that is maxing out every single roster spot because that's what I do, man.
10:11I'm hyper competitive. I love it. I love going as deep as possible and trying to make a decision.
10:17Do I want Malik Benson or do I want Colby Young?
10:20Right. Right. That's, that's the decision to make. I think at this point, Malik Benson has a clearer path, but Colby Young's in the much better situation.
10:29Right. Right. So if there is an injury, the contingent value for Colby Young is incredible.
10:33If he can just beat out Yoshivos. Yeah. So if he beats out Yoshivos, it's, it's, it's on for Colby Young as a contingent asset.
10:41Right. Malik Benson could just win some role in the offense with no contingency.
10:45100%. He absolutely could. I mean, it's just, he's one of those, like, you didn't really, he wasn't, there's not a lot
10:52of hype around him coming into the draft. Not somebody that you were really thinking about, like, okay, where is he going to land?
10:59But now that he's really kind of making a name for himself and, you know, OTAs and everything, it's somebody that should
11:06be on everyone's radar, especially if you're in deep leagues and dynasty leagues, that kind of thing.
11:11You know, you should be looking out for him and making sure that either if you don't have him some, you know,
11:18like you're trying to maybe even acquire him if you have the ability, because that's somebody that could, could have a lot of use this season.
11:25Yeah. I was disappointed with his explosiveness. His burst score is only 116.3.
11:29The history of fast receivers with no burst that skipped the agility drills isn't great.
11:34Yeah. Okay. It isn't great. But yeah, we, we have a lot of pro day information up on playerprofile.com.
11:40A lot of these guys, Dean Connors, a lot of these undrafted players, Colby Young, Malik Benson, you'll go check out their, their workout metrics on playerprofile.com.
11:48Most of them didn't go to the combine. So you're going to see their pro day numbers up there.
11:54And if they ran the 40 at the pro day, then it's, it's corrected plus five, one hundredths of a second to
12:00be on par with the average 40 time at the NFL scouting combine.
12:04Cause the NFL scouting combine has this video replay system where they find the exact moment that the forward inertia began.
12:11And so that, that ends up adding a little bit, just, just, just literally it is five, one hundredths of a second.
12:17But if you're going to go out there and run a four, three, seven, and you were relatively productive at an early
12:24age at a major conference school, you get drafted by a team like the Las Vegas Raiders that has very little depth in their wide receiver room.
12:32Then you're absolutely worth rostering Malik Benson, absolutely worth rostering.
12:35He could actually start to accrue value this year.
12:38So when I'm deciding between a Colby Young and a Malik Benson, it's who can, who can potentially accrue value this year.
12:44Malik Benson has a little bit better shot. Colby Young is huge.
12:48Six, five, two 20 runs a four or five flat.
12:51So that means his speed score, which accounts for his size is one 13.2 and he's best comparable to Nick Westbrook-Akine.
12:57And that makes perfect sense. I mean, he, Nick Westbrook-Akine has had chances.
13:01He's had spike weeks. He's had opportunity to, and people have put him in their, their lineup here and there when he's
13:08been a starter because of injuries ahead of him, the depth chart in deep leagues.
13:13Westbrook-Akine has been useful. I think Colby Young has a chance to be even more useful, but only in the event that
13:19there's an injury and there's probably going to be injury.
13:22Any, any two starting wide receivers in the league, Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins in this case, odds are one of them is going to miss some games.
13:31It's the bangles. I mean, you know, inevitably somebody else is going to get a chance.
13:36I mean, how many times were you, you know, like trying to go get on the waiver wire for Gusecki or, or
13:42even Yoshifashi, you know, like those guys are always going to be, you know, have some value towards the middle of the season when somebody's banged up.
13:50Colby Young actually just remembered. I talked to him at the combine.
13:54I had forgotten about that, but when you put his picture up there, I was like, yes, that's right.
14:00I did talk to that kid at the combine and he's, he is, he's huge.
14:04He's so tall. Looks like a nice kid. I don't know.
14:08Some people did their headshot. You could just, there's a handful.
14:11Most of them, they're, they're poker face, you know, but this guy, I can like, this guy's pretty friendly.
14:17I like Colby Young. I like it. Yeah. He seems, seems, seems a nice, seems a nice fellow.
14:22I like to hang out of Cam Ward. His, his photo is pretty hardcore, right?
14:27Cam Ward. He's, he's, he's looking, he's, he's got it.
14:30He's a little more like, I'm, I'm dead serious.
14:33I'm not here to smile. We're out here to play some football.
14:36He takes things seriously. You said, did you see that the, the, they, they, they filmed this practice session, this throwing session with Cam Ward and Shader Sanders.
14:45Did you ever see that? Oh, I did. Oh wait, hang on.
14:48Yes, I did. Is that this is the one from last season, right?
14:52Where, yeah, I, I do remember this. It was, it was, it was quite telling because the whole time Shader Sanders is
14:59trying to do small talk and he's not having it.
15:02He's like, I'm here to throw footballs and I'm here to stomp on you and show the world why I'm the one-on-one
15:09and you're not even a first rounder. Like that, that was pretty, that was pretty ice cold.
15:14He was pretty ice cold. There's Shader Sanders on that.
15:17I, and I, I appreciate it. I love that.
15:19That's the same reason, like George Pickens, he doesn't get around.
15:23People don't get along with him in the locker room.
15:26So maybe because he's a dog, maybe because he's out because he's ultra serious and he's not here for any nonsense.
15:32No, but you know what though? In my wide receivers, I do want a little bit of a, a little bit of a diva.
15:39I want, I want the diva in my wide receiver.
15:42You know, like think of all the really good ones, all the historically great wide receivers for the most part.
15:49You know, we've, we've had a rainy moss diva, you know, like that's, that's what I like.
15:54That's, I like a little bit of an edge to my, my receivers.
15:58Oh yeah. Pickens has an edge. Yeah. He's just very serious.
16:01He's just very serious. And so I'm like, yeah, there's a locker room dynamics.
16:05We got to trade him. We got to get, we're going to, we're going to replace him with DK Metcalf in Pittsburgh.
16:12Yeah. Good, good move guys. Yeah. That, that was just like, that was a signal, right?
16:17Almost like a symptom of the problems underneath the surface in Pittsburgh.
16:20As soon as you saw that happen, we're bringing in DK Metcalf to replace George Pickens.
16:25It's like, no, no, no, no, no, no. This is the bed.
16:29This is a bad decision. Pickens is only going to get more and more valuable.
16:33DK Metcalf is only going to get less and less valuable over the next couple of years.
16:38What are you doing? You want assets that will accrue value just like in dynasty.
16:43It's the same thing. If you're running an NFL team, it's the same as running a dynasty.
16:48League team in fantasy football. You want assets that will accrue value, not, not lose value.
16:53And you can't be just punting super valuable assets because there's, you know, some personality conflict with the coaches.
16:59Then get new coaches. And get better ones. Cause I'm not sure that they got better or new.
17:04I mean, they did get new coaches. I don't know how much better they are though this year.
17:10I guess we'll find out with McCarthy, but I don't know.
17:13And I love, I love Aaron Rogers, but I, I'm not sure Pickens would have done any better if he had stayed in Pittsburgh.
17:20You love, you love Aaron Rogers. I do. I'm a Packer fan.
17:24I'm a Packer fan. So Aaron Rogers is probably one of my favorite QBs of all time.
17:29Do I think it's probably time? I do. I sure do.
17:32I mean, he's my age, which I don't, you know, I don't, I certainly don't need to be out on an NFL field.
17:39I think he's, this is, this should probably, probably be done for him at this point.
17:44He's done. He's done. I'm going to break that news right now.
17:48We'll do it. We'll break news. Visit www.mclobaltra.com slash superior access slash FIFA world cup two six for free entry, entry deadlines, prizes, and details.
17:55This episode is brought to you by Google Chrome.
17:58You think, you know, a browser, but Gemini and Chrome that's new.
18:02It can help you with practically anything on the web, like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50 page restoration block, or finally break down that long article.
18:10You've had open for weeks. Gemini and Chrome is here for it.
18:14Ready to make anything online. Make sense. There's no place like Chrome check responses set up required compatibility and availability.
18:20Various 18 plus. Aaron Rogers will retire after this season, if not before.
18:24Right. Well, that's the thing. I mean, he's not, is not the MVP caliber that he used to be.
18:30I mean, I I'm glad that for pick and sake that he's in Dallas, I think that's such a better fit for him, better offense.
18:37And, and I mean, with that said, like is Metcalf, is that all his fault?
18:42You know, like, do you think maybe there's just, he needs a better quarterback play to kind of produce a little bit more.
18:49I mean, in fairness to Metcalf, he's sort of had to suffer under Russell Wilson and Aaron Rogers.
18:54But the problem is Russell Wilson, not the greatest fit for DK Metcalf.
18:58Aaron Rogers is Aaron Rogers loves to throw the back shoulder.
19:01He does. Right. Aaron Rogers, if you can, if you're big and you can, and you can squeeze the football on a
19:08fade route, Aaron Rogers will just keep feeding you on the sideline.
19:12He loves that. Like that, that's, that's his, that's his whole thing.
19:15You know? So, whereas, you know, Russell Wilson, he was trying to scramble around.
19:20He, you were, he was more likely to, to, to target you in the middle of the field.
19:25DK Metcalf, like he can just stay on the outside and Rogers will deliver the football to him.
19:30The problem is he can't separate. He's never learned how to separate.
19:34He's been cursed by athleticism. His size and athleticism have been so dominant from an early age that he was never able to really learn the craft.
19:42It was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it's, it's, it's the talent curse.
19:47Some of these wide receivers, it's a talent curse.
19:50If you're Randy Moss and you're at this Usain Bolt level of like speed differential versus you versus other members of the
19:56NFL, other defensive backs, whoever it is, if you're so much, so much faster than everyone else, then you could just leave
20:03practice as soon as it's over and go play video games.
20:06And you can have an incredibly productive career out to age 30.
20:10And then when, once you turn 31 and you go to Tennessee, it's over, right?
20:15Eventually the bell does toll for those wide receivers, but they just, they typically get to age 30 and then everything goes poof, right?
20:22Everything goes poof in the case of DK Metcalf.
20:25He's just, he's on the fast track to poof, fast track.
20:28It's not good. And you know, I mean like I, with the Rogers thing too, I mean like he's older, you got to keep him on his feet.
20:36And if they can't do that either, then Metcalf isn't going to get what little chances he would have gotten.
20:42If Rogers is able to get it downfield to him.
20:46So, I mean, that's, that's what I worry about with that too much too.
20:50You know, like it, it just, it, for me, it's a no, thank you.
20:54I, I just, no, thanks. No, thanks. Pittsburgh. It's a challenge.
20:57It's a challenge to find players on the giants.
21:00You want to roster this year? Scadaboo, Scadaboo and Tracy.
21:03That's the list. What can I ask you about Scadaboo real quick?
21:07Are you concerned about him coming back? Like either not too soon, but maybe do you think that he might be a
21:13little more reckless than he should given that injury and the recovery and everything right, right at first.
21:19He doesn't strike me as one who's going to take it easy and get back in the groove.
21:24What do you want? When you, what do you mean, you get to ask yourself, what do you want from him?
21:31What do you want in your NFL players? I want a guy that's going to put his head down and get that extra yard.
21:38Not only is that going to give me the 0.1 additional fantasy points, but also it'll keep him on the field.
21:44It'll keep the coaches feeding him and feeding him and feeding him.
21:48And he's putting himself in a position where insiders around the giants are like, this is the cam scatter.
21:54This is, this is, this is the Scadaboo show.
21:56Okay. This is, it's not, it's not even the, it's, it's not even the Jackson dart show.
22:02It's the cam Scadaboo show. And you're seeing almost the same number of jerseys out there for cam Scadaboo kids running around
22:08in the New York Metro area with Scadaboo jerseys.
22:11As you see Jackson dart jerseys, like this is face of the franchise type of guy.
22:16He goes to the celebrity softball game post-injury and he's doing a backflip.
22:20Was that a good idea? No. Was it cool to see how healthy he is?
22:24How much hard work he's putting in behind the scenes to get his body right this early in the process coming back from a gruesome injury.
22:32That's the signal I want to see. He's putting out the signals.
22:36I want to see if he wants to be reckless, that's just part of it.
22:40In dynasty, you're taking him at seventh round, eighth round of a startup.
22:44There's already a massive discount on him versus the, based on like the other members of his cohort.
22:50I'm in these startups and it's always, he's the last workhorse left.
22:53Yeah. Like he's the last young workhorse who's pre apex, the last pre apex workhorse, maybe like by two or three rounds.
23:00He's such a screaming value in all these startups.
23:03So I love him. I also love that there's a direct backup who's also very productive, has that sort of Rashad white
23:09level skillset, which I like because there is the possibility in best ball of getting some standalone value from guy like that's
23:16going to catch passes out of the backfield as a breather back for Scadaboo.
23:20The fact that Tracy is such a great receiver means that when he is deployed as a breather back, he can get you 10 fantasy points.
23:28And because he has the size and the all purpose skillset, he also has incredible contingent value if Scadaboo misses games.
23:34So that is probably my, one of my favorite handcuffs in all of dynasty.
23:39I don't handcuff in, in seasonal leagues or in best ball, but in dynasty, I absolutely handcuff it.
23:44We talk about it in the dynasty dominator book right here.
23:47Here's a, here's a, this is a, this is the dynasty dominator book available on Amazon.
23:52We talk about stacking running backs in dynasty is a very good idea.
23:56And there's no better stack right now. There's no better, no better stack, no better handcuff than Scadaboo Tyrone Tracy.
24:02And then when you think about, okay, what players on Pittsburgh would you like to roster?
24:07I have a hard time finding any, I have a hard time finding any there.
24:12Or if, if Rico Dowdle slips, then I might be interested.
24:15But now we're talking Broderick Jones has this lingering neck problem.
24:18Like it's probably a chronic neck problem for Broderick Jones, where now we may not see him till halfway through the season at best.
24:26So, okay. You lose your left tackle. That's going to shift everyone.
24:29It's not just kind of, it's going to hurt both the pass blocking and the run blocking.
24:34This offense feels like you're pushing the implosion button.
24:37And so when you, when you have that kind of offense, you get value trapped into a guy like Michael Pittman.
24:43You get value trapped into a guy like Jalen Warren.
24:47And it's very difficult in best ball, in dynasty startups, in seasonal home leagues, in every league, high stakes, you're going to
24:53find yourself getting tempted to draft Steelers. And I just say, no, no, no.
24:57Don't, don't fall for the value trap. Resist the peer pressure.
25:01Don't do it. Well, it was just resist the ADP.
25:04It's like, oh my God, look at this. I can get, I can get Jalen Warren here.
25:09Wow. Be careful. It's not that exciting. Yeah. It's not that exciting when you're dealing with it all season long.
25:15I traded a pick in a startup recently. And with that pick that I traded, my league mate selected Jalen Warren and I couldn't have been happier.
25:23I was like, I was like, really? That's the, that's what you did.
25:27Okay, cool. That's all right. Take him, take him off the board.
25:31So the news is out, you know, throughout OTAs that Cam Ward, Cam Ward has accuracy issues.
25:36Have you, have you seen these? Have you seen these reports?
25:39I've seen a little bit of it. And, you know, this is what we were kind of talking a little bit before we got started.
25:47Like, I feel like it's how, whatever year it was a couple of years ago where all the news was that Jamar
25:53Chase can't catch NFL footballs and everybody panicked and started, you know, passing on Jamar Chase in their drafts much, much to their dismay later.
26:01That was just noise. And I feel like this is just noise as well.
26:05Last year, I just looked up just to see, I was just curious.
26:09He had a higher, Cam Ward had a higher completion percentage than Caleb Williams did last year.
26:14So 59.8%. I think Caleb Williams was like 59.1.
26:17So it's not a huge difference, but, but still higher.
26:20So I'm not really worried about this at all.
26:23I think this is just noise. There must not be anything else going on in Tennessee for them to report on.
26:29So not worried. Well, I'll tell you, I love Caleb Williams and fantasy football and has nothing to do with Ben Johnson.
26:36Like I haven't said the name Ben Johnson all off season, also because I don't attribute the credit for the player production.
26:42Like a huge percentage of it is not going to the coach in my analysis.
26:47So that's what differentiates me from so many other fantasy gamers that lead off like the Ben Johnson offense.
26:53That's there. That's the first point, you know, in, in, in Caleb Williams favor, it's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
27:00What I love about Caleb Williams is his D gap attitude.
27:04I love the low completion percentage because that means he's a, he's a gunslinger.
27:08There's so few gunslingers left, but if you have the one-on-one, if you have the one-on-one pick, if you have the faith
27:15of the franchise and you're already the face of the franchise, then you can go out and be a gunslinger.
27:21But most quarterbacks not afforded that opportunity. He's doing it.
27:24He has the support of his coaches. And so now we get this high volume, high target depth quarterback who could be
27:30the number one quarterback in fantasy this year. It's very possible that we, that that's his, his ceiling is so high because
27:37of his talent level and his gunslinger play style.
27:40Oh yeah. I, you know, who was with Chicago last year is our boy Declan Doyle over there.
27:45Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait. This is the thing.
27:48This is the problem. Everyone's talking about, oh, how Lamar and Zay flowers when I love Zay flowers.
27:53I'm going to have, I have so much Zay flowers.
27:56I'm trading for Zay flowers and drafting Zay flowers.
27:59Zay flowers is probably the most frequently, you know, transacted elite player across all my dynasty rosters where, you know, and I'm always in acquisition mode.
28:07I would never trade Zay flowers. Like you'd have to, my cold dead hands.
28:11You have to prime loose to get Zay flowers.
28:14Not going to happen, man. So, but it's funny.
28:17He gets all of the credit or the projected credit for improving Lamar Jackson's efficiency this year.
28:22It's like already baked in, but no one and me included, because I, I don't think he matters that much to begin
28:28with is saying none of the, the coach first analysts, like they love to have it both ways.
28:34This is, this is another big frustration I have with the coach first analysts is they're happy to credit Declan Doyle, like
28:41pre-credit Declan Doyle with turning around Lamar Jackson turning around.
28:44Right. And Ben Johnson, of course, uh, with, with the, the growth and development of Caleb Williams, but you don't hear anyone
28:50saying, you know, I'm fading Caleb Williams because he lost Declan Doyle.
28:54You sure don't. You sure. And he didn't call plays there last year.
28:58That was all Ben Johnson. So this is, it'll be his first time call in place.
29:03Right. Oh, see, that's the thing. Oh, there's always a reason.
29:06There's always a reason why we're not going to fade anybody.
29:09We're just going to, we're just going to get behind coach X.
29:13Now there's always one coach. It's usually one coach.
29:16One, there's a placeholder coach that is viewed as the coach.
29:19No one wants to, to be associated with in fantasy football, right?
29:23There's always one guy, right? Where it's like, okay, this guy runs a terrible offense.
29:27And anytime this guy ends up landing on a particular team, it's, it's a bad sign.
29:32You know, the, uh, Brian Schottenheimer effect until that guy ends up landing on a team with a great offense.
29:38And then the next thing, you know, a couple of years later go by and Brian Schottenheimer's is, is, is, is an it coordinator.
29:45And he just was named the head coach and he's going to go ahead and turn around team X.
29:51And now what team does he coach now? Brian Schottenheimer, what teams he coach again?
29:56Can you remember? He coaches a team. He coaches a team with a very, very prolific offense, Brian Schottenheimer.
30:01And no one is talking about how Brian Schottenheimer is like the, the, the death knell of a team.
30:07Why is he? Oh my God. He's the Cowboys coach.
30:10Holy cow. Holy guacamole. Absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely. It used to be that the, the, the, that was like the black flag, right?
30:17You were flying the, your offense was flying the black flag.
30:20If you had Brian Schottenheimer calling plays, but now he's the head coach and it's all fine because they're the highest volume,
30:27most prolific offense projected to be right there with the Cincinnati Bengals this year.
30:31Doesn't matter. It doesn't actually matter. That's the thing, right?
30:34It's like, it, it, they're, you're not, they're not, you're not going to trace back the Brian Schottenheimer history and fade the
30:41Cowboys because of Brian Schottenheimer or, or fade Caleb Williams because he lost Declan Doyle.
30:45That's not how it works. But, but the Brian Schottenheimer has been the offensive coordinator responsible for several low volume offenses.
30:52Doesn't that hurt Dak? Doesn't that mean they're going to run a lot less plays and not be as prolific in Dallas?
30:58No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
31:01Dallas is fine. Dallas is Dallas. Dallas just like the bears are the bears.
31:06Right? So, but, but, but, but Kellen Moore, that's, that's a bit, that's a very positive sign for the saints.
31:12You see, that's the, that's the, and it's like, okay, I get that.
31:16It's not bad. It's not a bad thing that Kellen Moore is the offensive coordinator to the saints, but that's not why I'm excited.
31:23I'm excited because just the numbers that Chuck put up last year were way better than Rattler.
31:28And if you extrapolate it for a full season and it's reasonable played half a season, imagine a full season.
31:34Then that's pretty exciting. It's exciting for everyone involved.
31:37It's exciting for Travis ETN. A-chan. It's exciting for Chris Olave.
31:40It's exciting for Jordan Tyson. It's exciting. There's so many players.
31:43I happen to have a lot of shock Vele.
31:46I just drafted Vele and yet another startup. It like, it was like he and Yoshivas.
31:51And it was right. I got to tell you what round it was.
31:55This was a very, very deep into this draft.
31:58I mean, we were talking about, we are in round 24.
32:01I drafted Devon Vele. So Devon Vele was selected after Dontavian Wicks, Kevin Coleman, CJ Daniels, and Jahan Dotson.
32:07He's way better than those guys. All of those guys.
32:10He's way better than all of those guys. He's way better.
32:13I mean, way better. Devon Vele is a good football player.
32:16He's a player I am eager to put on every single roster.
32:20I have him rostered in, I think, the majority of my dynasty leagues.
32:24He has a 105.9, 86 percentile speed score, above average burst.
32:27The guy is 6'4". So he's fast, especially for a tall receiver.
32:31And he was drafted in the seventh round out of Utah.
32:34Wasn't super dominant in college. But he has taken to the NFL to the point where the Saints traded multiple picks to acquire him.
32:42Is any team ever going to trade multiple picks for Jahan Dotson, CJ Daniels, Kevin Coleman, Dontavian Wicks?
32:47Well, actually, they did. I think that just happened.
32:50I think the Eagles did just trade multiple picks.
32:52So, okay. So of these two guys here actually were acquired by the teams trading multiple picks.
32:58The Dontavian Wicks picks, I think, were later than the Devon Vele picks.
33:02And Wicks is buried in the depth chart. And he also could not squeeze the football.
33:06And I would challenge you to find many wow factor plays from Dontavian Wicks.
33:11On the other hand, that was all Devon Vele did last year.
33:14It was just, I mean, there were so many big plays.
33:18Incredible catches over the middle, squeezing the football in traffic.
33:21It's acrobatic. And now, suddenly, the depth chart has opened up for him.
33:25And tale as old as time, Stacey. Let me know if you agree with this.
33:29Tale as old as time. Devon Vele, at least early in the season, out-targeting Jordan Tyson.
33:34I think that could happen. I mean, you see with these rookie receivers all the time, they take a little while to
33:41kind of get their feet underneath them, get adjusted to the NFL.
33:44Those things. Devon Vele, obviously veteran. No veteran. But he's been in the league a lot longer.
33:49I can absolutely see that happening. He looks like Jordan Tyson.
33:53They play a similar game, right? In terms of they're tall, lanky, can play all over the formation.
33:58He and Jordan Tyson. I think Jordan Tyson is going to be, hey, I'm going to watch a lot of it.
34:04I think if you were to ask Tyson, hey, who are you emulating in practice?
34:09Who are you hanging out with? Whose game are you trying to model yourself after?
34:14It's like not so much Chris Olave. He and I are very different players.
34:18But Vele, and then look at the, and Vele standing out in practice.
34:22No surprise, right? All the practice reports glowing about Devon Vele.
34:25He developed a connection last year with Tyler Shuck.
34:28I guarantee I'm going to be playing Vele. I already have because some of my orphan teams have had to turn over the roster.
34:35And I was shocked how many teams currently have Vele in the starting lineup.
34:39Just because I'm desperate. Most teams, I would not want Vele in the starting lineup.
34:44But after week one, they play the Lions week one.
34:47It'll be very interesting. I think you should all, if there's any kind of depth in your league, and this could be
34:54seasonal league, dynasty, doesn't matter what it is. I say get Vele now.
34:57You don't have to play him week one. But he could be the guy.
35:02Everyone's trying to pick up off the waiver wire after he explodes against the Lions and has, let's say, eight catches.
35:08I can see him eight catches, 90 yards, and a touchdown.
35:11And everyone's like, oh my God, look at his snap share.
35:15Look at his route participation rate. He actually ran more routes, more targets than Jordan Tyson week one.
35:20And it's like, yeah, it's week one. This is a rookie.
35:23He's getting acclimated. It makes sense. This is the veteran that they brought in because they love his playmaking ability.
35:30And he's making plays. This is not a surprise.
35:32It shouldn't be a surprise to anybody. But I mean, looking at all these players, Rashad Bateman, Jack Besh, Brennan Thompson.
35:39Brennan Thompson is a field stretching special teamer. Christian Kirk is dust.
35:42Darnell Mooney, dust. Jerry Judy, dust. Jalen Tolbert, Taequann Thornton.
35:45All these players getting drafted before Vele. It's crazy.
35:48That's criminal. I was just looking at his numbers towards the end of the season last year.
35:53So his targets really picked up. He had seven, eight, five, six targets towards week 12 beyond.
35:58So like ending the season on a good note, being heavily targeted during these games.
36:03He's just picking up where he left off. So I mean, it's I have no doubt that he is going to have
36:10more production than Tyson, at least right at first.
36:12I like Tyson as a player. I like his landing spot there.
36:16He's just going so high in drafts right now.
36:19I think people are going to be if you don't have the ability to kind of wait on him to develop.
36:25I think that may be a little bit of a wasted pick at this point.
36:29These these Jordan Tyson best ball picks. The justification is, well, he's not going to produce in September, but I can if
36:36I can just sneak him through, then I'll have an advantage in the shootout in best ball.
36:41Right. Well, if we can just get get past get past the and make it into the playoff round, then all of
36:48a sudden I have a competitive advantage. I'm one of the I can be one of the few teams that has Tyson.
36:55It's like maybe or he's just a year away and you let me pick on fire.
36:59It's like, yeah, OK, I get the justification to try to get him through, but you're already paying so much.
37:06I mean, I'm looking at the other guys that are going.
37:09So he's I'm looking at just underdog, you know, ADP.
37:12Yeah. Check out the underdog ADP. Where is he going around?
37:15He's going six round with guys like Parker Washington, Marvin Harrison, Jr., Brian Thomas, Jr., all those guys.
37:21Carnell Tate goes a little bit before McKay lemons in that area.
37:24Jaden Reed, Cortland Sutton. He's not going to produce Jaden Reed.
37:28Jaden Reed's going to produce him. He's going to have more fantasy points than Jaden Reed.
37:32Absolutely. That's the that's that is the I mean, the other ones are easy, like slam dunk.
37:38Right. I'd rather have player X over at a similar ADP.
37:41And then I would go all the way out to Jaden Reed.
37:45Yeah, I think that it's it's just I don't quite understand the rationale of the I think it's this is the Saints.
37:51And we know the Saints offense is is queued up.
37:54Take a big step forward this year. And let's just get exposure to them.
37:59And I think that's a great idea. You should absolutely be soaking up all the Juwan Johnson.
38:04He's a value, right? Chris Olave at ADP. Go for it.
38:07Spike Week specialist. He was like, this is like the perfect best ball receiver.
38:11And it's an ascending offense. Yes. Pay up for Chris Olave by all means.
38:15But then you have this incredible value. It's late round value in Vela.
38:19So you have plenty of choices. Travis Etn. Hachan.
38:22Plenty of players you can draft happily at ADP.
38:25Oh, yeah. They're one of my favorite, you know, like stacks that you can get really cheaply in best ball.
38:31If you're looking to do that, you know, you've got you can get Shuck really late.
38:36You could double stack Shuck with Juwan Johnson and Vela.
38:39And Vela. Absolutely. 100%. Go get those three players.
38:41I mean, not even to mention the other ones.
38:44You know, you've got Chris Olave third round. Like, I'd rather him over Rishi Rice.
38:49Devante Smith, probably Malik neighbors scares me a little bit right now.
38:52Oh my God. Yeah. Over Malik neighbors. Absolutely. I think it's close between him and him and Devante Smith is close.
38:59It's close. It's I'd rather have. But in best ball because of this, because he's well.
39:04I think without AJ Brown in Philadelphia, Devante Smith is going to be more of a more of a consistent producer where
39:10I think Olave is going to be just giving is going to be highly volatile.
39:15But when he goes boom, it's going to be huge.
39:18It's going to be huge because Tyler Shuck is better equipped to deliver the ball downfield and create those spike week opportunities
39:24for a wide receiver than Jalen Hurts, sadly. Right.
39:27So it's just one of those things. Yeah. I mean, he is.
39:31I completely agree. Yeah. Tyler Shuck. I think he and Trevor Lawrence, I think are very similar.
39:36Like, I think that we look into projections, this NFC South, AFC South, more often than not, I'm targeting teams in either
39:43the AFC South or the NFC South. And I see Shuck and Lawrence as these parallel assets.
39:48And I see those teams, right, in parallel. And I would much prefer the upside that you're getting, the spike week, especially in best ball.
39:55Brian Thomas over Jordan Tyson? I mean, are you kidding?
39:58Brian Thomas has actually done it. Jordan Tyson could be a bust.
40:02He could be an epic bust. Top 10 pick, he's probably not a bust, but he could be.
40:07He could be. And at least we know Brian Thomas, not a bust.
40:11He had a super disappointing sophomore season. Fine. But he's not a bust.
40:15No. No. He's got way too much talent. We've already seen what he can do with that talent.
40:21I think this year, I just took him in a best ball slow draft.
40:25I mean, I don't, I think he'll be fine.
40:28He's too talented not to be. And they're too invested in him to let that happen again.
40:33And the camp buzz has been wild. I think the camp buzz around Brian Thomas, my theory is that it's part propaganda.
40:40You heard this theory? I think he's going to be good.
40:43I think he's going to be volatile. And I think you're going to want him in best ball.
40:48It's, he's like the obvious best ball. I mean, if Chris Olave and Brian Thomas, these are two of the top five
40:55quintessential best ball wide receivers that you would absolutely want in every team.
40:59Pay the price. However, I don't think this rapport he's building with Trevor Lawrence, like it's, they've been together for three years.
41:06It doesn't pass the sniff test. Just the, the volume of positive news reports and praise.
41:10It's a little much, you know, when like, it's like people lay it on a little thick.
41:16You're like, um, you're losing credibility with me here.
41:18Maybe just, maybe if you just be, yeah, be, be cool.
41:22Maybe be this, this, this, this, something not genuine about this.
41:25And I was feeling this way. And I was like, well, why would they, why would they?
41:30And then of course I know why, because they're just trying to distract.
41:34It's like, don't look over here. Don't look over here.
41:37Don't look at Parker Washington. Okay. Please don't look at Parker Washington.
41:41We're trying to extend him. We don't want his agent thinking that he's really valuable and that we need him.
41:47And we're, he actually is essential for our offense.
41:50Let's make sure that everything, all the praise, all, all of the hype goes toward Brian Thomas.
41:55Cause he's a guy we would actually be willing to trade.
41:58So that boosts the trade value, right? It boosts the perception around the league.
42:02Like, cause all, all these general managers, they're, they're consuming thing and they're, they're, they're susceptible.
42:07Like fans are of just like taking it on face value.
42:10Right. It's like, oh man, Brian Thomas, he's really turned things around.
42:14Maybe I will pick up the phone or call back, call, call the people from, from Jacksonville back about Brian Thomas.
42:20Washington. You can use him. He'd probably be a little bit more stable than Brandon.
42:25You think? Absolutely. But so, and then the, the, the, the funny part is that's just an ancillary benefit for Jacksonville that
42:32they boost, they boost the perceived market value of Brian Thomas.
42:35But their real goal is their number one goal is to suppress the market value of Parker Washington.
42:40So they can extend him at value. They want to send him at the lowest possible price because he's undrafted and he's about to hit the open market.
42:49They got to get him. They got to get him extended.
42:52They know he's awesome that he's, that he has an all purpose skillset that he can run the, well, he's not, he's not undrafted.
42:59He's a six round pick, but I mean, it's, it's pretty, pretty close to, uh, uh, to, uh, being undrafted runs like
43:06a, you know, a four, he's runs like a four or five.
43:10This is not, he's not super explosive, but you know what, you know, it's a similar profile, just a little, he's like
43:16a shorter version of Carnell Tate, similar profile. Okay.
43:19And so he just is great at football. He's just a playmaker and he doesn't have to be that explosive.
43:25They, they figured out that they can deploy him everywhere.
43:28He can run outside. He can go inside. He can go everywhere.
43:32And then this guy is who we want to build our offense around him and Trevor Lawrence.
43:37And I guess to a lesser degree, now that they've extended Brenton strange, but that's my theory.
43:42Anyway, that that's why I'm not getting too hyped about Brian Thomas, because I think part of this is a big distraction away from Parker Washington.
43:50Well, I mean, it's not like they haven't been known to give, uh, way more money than they should to their wide receivers.
43:57Hello. Do you remember the Christian Kirk, uh, signing, uh, however long ago?
44:01Christian Kirk is actually Parker Washington's best comp right now.
44:04Yeah. But it's better than that. He's better than that.
44:07But the thing is, I think that comp might change because his, his route tree is, is, is not as limited to the slot like Christian Kirk's is.
44:15So some of these guys have similar college production, similar physical profiles, similar workouts, but their play styles are very different.
44:22And that ends up being reflected in their NFL metrics.
44:25And then their, their comp shift. So there's a bunch of comps on player profile that are shifted in the last few
44:31months, even as we process like who these players are based on their stats from 2025.
44:36And, uh, so yeah, there's, uh, there's a bunch more wide receivers.
44:40I want to talk about, I want to talk about Casey Concepcion.
44:44We're going to talk about, we're always going to talk about Josh Downs on every show.
44:48We're contractually obligated to Rashid Shaheed. So there's, there's, there's a lot, there's a lot to talk about here.
44:54And that's all, uh, that's all coming up next.
44:57You know, the original player profile was just my podcasting tool that I made available to the public so that you could
45:04follow along and look up the stats while I'm looking them up and talking about them on the show.
45:09And then you're asking, well, I want to dominate my drafts.
45:13I want to know what you know about Josh Downs and Trey Harris and Jalen Coker.
45:17So that's why we have the world famous draft kit, the key team insights, the player breakdowns and the key stats that
45:24you need to know, like vacated targets, vacated touches, all there available to you with cheat sheets for every format and interactive drafting.
45:31As you draft the players fly off the board.
45:34And this year, for the first time I am publishing my personal draft cheat sheet during draft season, as well as Bradley's.
45:41And when you sign up for the all in package, you get $25 off with code podfather, code podfather, $25 off.
45:47The world famous draft kit is now live. It is ready.
45:50It is complete. So go grab it and dominate your drafts.

46:40Before we talk about more wide receivers, I do have some questions about running backs.
46:44Recent news item on player profiler. Jadarian price was not drafted by Seattle to be a workhorse.
46:50Is that not the most obvious report you've ever seen?
46:53I mean, of course not. He wasn't even a workhorse in college.
46:56Exactly that. And they are not known for having a bell cow running back situation.
47:01They are known for running back by committee, which is what is going to be happening.
47:06Even when sharps comes back at full strength, this is going to be going on this season and into the future.
47:12Is not Miles Sanders just the perfect comp for this guy?
47:15Isn't that just perfect? I mean, it doesn't get any better.
47:19It's a very close comp too. Like they, these guys are super similar and they played in college next to running backs that were super elite talents.
47:27Jeremy, you know, one guy's with Jeremiah love one guys with Saquon Barkley at Penn state.
47:32Very similar guys, just classic one B running backs.
47:34This is a one B running back situation. And when Zach Charbonnet returns, Zach Charbonnet is going to be the early down
47:41grinder and he's going to be a free agent next year, but it doesn't matter.
47:46They're going to, they're going to extend him. He's going to, I think he's going to, Charbonnet will come back in, let's say late October.
47:53He will be eased back in. He won't be super efficient.
47:56He probably won't be himself until December by the time.
47:59So he is the perfect guy to stash on the IR.
48:03I like drafting Charbonnet if he lingers around in seasonal leagues and high stakes, if there is an IR spot, but that's it, right?
48:10I like the IR stash. I've been drafting him in startups and acquiring him on these orphans where I'm not targeting 2026
48:17as the year that I want to win a championship.
48:20So if you, if you want to win a championship in 2027, 2028, and you've already determined that that's your window, go
48:26get Charbonnet, but not this year, man, not this year.
48:29I don't, I don't, I'm expecting very little from him this year.
48:33I same. I am too. And I keep seeing him going in all these drafts and I just don't understand it because
48:40I mean, he had a surgery in late February and I get it.
48:44You know, all these guys are coming back a lot sooner than they have been, you know, in the past, but still
48:50you can't expect a player to come back and be exactly what they were before they got injured right away.
48:56He's going to need some time to get used to things, to trust his body again and make those football moves without
49:03being, um, you know, worried about re-injuring himself. Uh, and I just, I just don't see that happening for our fantasy purposes,
49:10him being useful at all this year for us.
49:12Um, so I, I love Charbonnet, one of, one of my favorite players, especially coming out into the draft and everything.
49:19But this year I don't want any part of him in redraft.
49:22I think dynasty is the only way that I would be interested in him at all.
49:27And I, I like price he's six round. And if you're drafting him to be a bell cow, that's not going to work out well for you.
49:35Six round this year. Yeah. Six ADP. I'm looking at that for, um, underdog best ball right now.
49:41Six round. Yeah. At least it's best ball where he's going to have spike weeks.
49:45You're just not going to know when they are.
49:48He is going to be a very volatile, like a explosive rotational back, right?
49:52He's going to have some long runs. He's going to have some catches and take it to the house and you're not
49:59have no idea, especially because it's Seattle and they're going to be competitive in all their games.
50:04It's going to be very difficult to know with these championship caliber teams, Rams, Patriots, bills.
50:09It's tough. It's tough to, to start players based on game scripts because it's, they're probably going to be winning.
50:15And if they're not winning there, they're going to be in comeback mode and they're going to be close to winning and they might take the lead.
50:23Then it's going to be back and forth. So, and there's, there's not going to be a situation where you can project
50:30garbage time, for example, uh, on it for a team like Seattle, you have to imagine that they're going to be winning most of their games.
50:38And in the second half, they're going to want to run the ball.
50:42And so week one, who, who is actually probably the fringiest running back that you could think is useful week one.
50:48Can you guess who it is? Well, yeah, this is my opinion.
50:52I mean, you might have a different opinion. My opinion is this guy.
50:56Oh, who I was about to say, I mean, there is a role for who Lonnie and Emmanuel Wilson.
51:01Especially in best ball with that running back by committee.
51:04I've taken a ton of both of those guys.
51:07I gotta be, I gotta tell you, I gotta tell you, I don't care about Emmanuel Wilson.
51:12I know he looked good. I know he had a good game or two.
51:17That's a small sample trap. He had all the opportunity to come in and camp and flash.
51:22There's zero buzz about Emmanuel Wilson. I was ready for it.
51:25I was ready to hear the buzz knowing that he is a sub athlete.
51:29I mean, George Alani is much more explosive. And if George Alani being that much more explosive is also like a team
51:36captain level personality in the locker room, super trusted by the coaches as the incumbent, then it's going to be the George
51:43Alani show and forget Emmanuel Wilson because he was just a guy in Green Bay.
51:47He's just a guy. Now happen to have a good game or two.
51:51Big deal. Alani is the incumbent. He has the trust and he's getting all the buzz.
51:56Emmanuel Wilson had a chance, right? You have one opportunity.
51:59He sees everything you ever wanted. Are you going to take it?
52:03Are you going to let it slip? And Emmanuel Wilson, sadly, in OTAs, let it slip.
52:07George Alani, right? George Alani, he's Eminem. Yeah. George Alani is the Eminem of running backs.
52:12Well, I think, and it goes to the point that too, you know, like these NFL teams don't care that, you know,
52:19they have these new shiny rookie toys like we do in fantasy.
52:23We get all excited, you know, when these guys get drafted and you see that in six rounds of Darian Price, right?
52:29And then you've got George Alani who's going, I'm going to have to scroll for a while to find where George Alani is going.
52:36Okay. Keep scrolling. Opportunity comes once in a lifetime.
52:39Exactly. But like, you don't, you know, you don't, you don't remember that these NFL teams, right?
52:44They're not going to give these rookie guys the starting role immediately, right?
52:48They're going to have to earn it just like everyone else does.
52:52And those vets, those old crusty vets that nobody likes to draft.
52:56They're not sexy to draft, right? Alani's not even crusty though.
52:59Oh, that's true. He's not. That's even better. Even better.
53:02Even better. Emmanuel Wilson's crusty. You know, Chris Brooks in Green Bay, crusty.
53:06These guys are, these guys are grinders. These guys are, don't have, Alani could, could actually give us some explosive plays and
53:13be like, Oh wait, who is it? What? Yeah.
53:15It's like, yeah, man. They were to every reporter around Seattle is talking about George Alani.
53:20I got to find him. I got to find out where he's going now.
53:24Here we go. We're at 18th round. 18th free.
53:27It's free. Way too. It's such a, it's such a pleasant surprise when you're, you, you go to your dynasty league, give
53:34him, give him logged in there in like six weeks.
53:37You look at the available players and then there's George Alani.
53:40It's like, Oh, Ooh, thank you. That's a, that's, that's a nice little gift.
53:44Ding. Onto my roster. Just like that. Bingo. George Alani, George Alani, George Alani.
53:49One of my highest rostered players. I think it's very possible.
53:52Alani also Raheem Sanders. There's a, there's a couple of running backs.
53:56I just have, I have so much of them, but Damian Martinez.
53:59Uh, these are just players that I, I just have an absolute ton of, uh, running back.
54:04I drafted recently, Sean Tucker, LaQuint Allen. These are some of my highest rostered running backs and, and Velae is what I talked about.
54:12Velae Flournoy. Uh, these are some of my highest rostered wide receivers, Ted Hurst.
54:16Uh, so just, but Halani is right there. Halani is right up there with like Trevor ETNA Chan, you know?
54:22Uh, and then yeah. Velae is right up there with like Josh Downs.
54:26The one guy I wish I had a little bit more of, and I did draft him in one startup.
54:32I just wish I drafted more is Rashid Shahid.
54:35Rashid Shahid is getting a lot of buzz, right?
54:37So that's where, that's where the buzz is going.
54:40Yeah, we know Jackson Smith and Jigba is going to produce, but then who else, who else in Seattle and the two
54:47names that all the beat reporters keep talking about Rashid Shahid and George Halani, George Halani and Rashid Shahid.
54:52So just, just, just, just do it, right? Just do it.
54:56Yes. Oftentimes these beat reporters, they get out over their skis on players.
55:00So just don't overpay, but there's no overpaying for Rashid Shahid.
55:03There's no, there's no overpaying for George Halani. But there's many startup drafts where Torrey Horton goes before Rashid Shahid, but Rashid
55:10Shahid, I mean, they're talking about him moving all around the formation.
55:13There's two players on, if you go to playerprofile.com slash news, there's two wide receivers that most recently have been discussed as
55:20player X moved all around the formation and they want to get player X the ball.
55:25They're making, this team is making a concerted effort to get player X the ball.
55:29That is Rashid Shahid in Seattle. And the one I love seeing more than any other, I mean, this was great.
55:36Whenever it's a rookie, that's incredibly good news because again, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm ready.
55:40You want to send me notes about Jordan Tyson and his practice reps and how he's dominating in practice.
55:46I want, I want to read those. I wish there were more.
55:50I wish there were more of those reports, right?
55:52There are plenty of those reports now coming out about Casey Concepcion.
55:56So if you go to the playerprofile.com slash news, you see Seattle expanding Rashid Shahid's route tree.
56:01And you also see the very next news item.
56:04We'll share it right up here on the screen.
56:07Okay. Casey Concepcion, right? Cleveland grooming Casey Concepcion to be alpha receiver.
56:10When he outproduces Jerry Judy and everyone else in Cleveland this year, no one's allowed to be surprised because they gave the game away in camp.
56:18They're moving him all around. Their goal is to get him the football, not Denzel Boston, not Jerry Judy.
56:24And if he outproduces Harold Fannin Jr., I wouldn't be surprised.
56:27Cedric Tillman's still there too. Bye-bye. Yeah. Bye-bye. Bye-bye and bye-bye.
56:31Cedric Tillman's a truther of mine, but he needs to go to a new team.
56:35As long as he's on Cleveland, I'm not interested.
56:38Also, who's been getting the buzz in camp? It hasn't been Cedric Tillman.
56:42Prior to Casey Concepcion, the guy getting the buzz was Isaiah Bond.
56:45Isaiah Bond, arguably a first round talent that fell out of the draft completely.
56:50Absolutely. And now, like many of these guys, the NFL is waiting for law enforcement to have the final say.
56:56And if the case just goes away, then it's like it never happened.
57:00And that's what's happening right now with Isaiah Bond.
57:02It's like it never happened. It's like he never fell out of the draft.
57:07I still can't believe no one took a chance on him with a seventh round pick.
57:11Yeah, that was really surprising. It was crazy. It was really surprising.
57:15I think that's just an oversight. I just think these are human beings, 32 human beings, and they just forgot.
57:21I just think they were like, we don't want him where we would normally take him.
57:26He'd probably be third round, right? Given that he wasn't as available throughout the process and there's some volatility there with him as a prospect.
57:33So even though it was acknowledged that he was a first round talent, even without charges against him or anything like that,
57:40I still think he wouldn't be a first round pick.
57:43And then you're like, well, okay, we're definitely not drafting him in the third round now that these social media charges have come out.
57:50And then all of a sudden you start going into the fifth round and you crossed him off the board, but he's still out there, right?
57:58Because they're not drafting with like an ADP board like we are in a fantasy football draft.
58:03It's harder actually as a general manager to have the board in front of you and know who's available at any given
58:10point than it is for us as fantasy gamers, because we have these systems that have been built and optimized over the
58:17last 25 years for us to just draft the next guy available.
58:20If we want him, he's right there. Oh, they don't have that with the NFL.
58:25So I think that was an oversight. And so I do have a lot of Isaiah Bond, not as much as Vale.
58:32I prefer Vale, but Bond is another one of those guys that's super fringe that is sometimes available on dynasty waiver wires.
58:38That's what I'm looking for. I'm looking for which of these receivers is sometimes available on dynasty waiver wires.
58:44And so for that reason, Cedric Tillman certainly is.
58:47I just don't think it's going to happen. I think it would have happened by now if it was going to happen.
58:53But I also don't think it's going to happen for Denzel Boston.
58:57So Denzel Boston can't separate. This is Jonathan Mingo 2.0.
59:00Oh, I want to say Tillman had a concussion that lasted several weeks last year, I think, right?
59:06That was last year that that kept him out.
59:08Same rationale that I used to truth or for Roshon Johnson was like, oh, he didn't get the opportunity because when it
59:15came and there was an injury to Swift, he had a concussion.
59:19And then they had to go to Mononguy. No, no, no.
59:22Like, it's just probably not going to happen for Roshon Johnson, though.
59:26Roshon Johnson will start the year as the RB3 in Chicago, one of the top offenses.
59:30But there's a handful of running backs on top offenses like the RB3 in Detroit, the RB3 in Chicago.
59:36There's not that much interest. If there was a fringe RB3 on a top offense that I am rostering a lot, it's Taj Brooks for Cincinnati.
59:44I love Taj Brooks. You love Taj Brooks. I do.
59:47I do. And it has nothing to do with his NFL ability or whatever.
59:51He, I just had a really, really great interaction with him at the combine when I went a couple years ago.
59:58Oh, yeah? Just rooting for him. Just rooting for him to be successful.
60:02Yep. What was the interaction like? It was just great.
60:05We just chatted a little bit about, you know, like different things, you know, what he was looking forward to the NFL,
60:11how he was going to, you know, kind of separate his game and show everybody kind of, you know, like what exactly he was bringing to the table.
60:20Um, just a really, really nice, polite guy to everybody there in the media who was asking him questions.
60:25Um, just the kind of guy that, you know, like you're, you're just rooting for to do well.
60:31That's, that's really it. Um, but ever since then I've just been like, let's get this guy a chance.
60:37He has the workout metrics. We're talking about 93rd percentile agility score.
60:40He had a 30% dominator rating at Texas tech.
60:43So this guy was productive in college, can catch passes, super agile.
60:47He's going to get an opportunity. He will absolutely get an opportunity.
60:50One of my favorite targets, whenever he goes in a startup draft, I I'm disappointed.
60:55I'm like, ah, damn it. You know, I'm some, a lot of times his ADP is like the bottom, like nine, nine,
61:01nine is like, wait, no, no, no, this is not, this is not like a, the typical RB three.
61:07Like yeah. Jarquez Hunter, Sean Tucker, Taj Brooks. These are not typical RB threes.
61:11Your RB threes. You actually really want to roster the best RB three to roster right now.
61:17That's going to have some standalone value. It's either Sean Tucker or LaQuinn Allen.
61:21Sean Tucker is going to have standalone value with touchdowns inside the five.
61:25And LaQuinn Allen will likely be a receiver like, oh, you think Chris Rodriguez is going to catch passes out of the backfield.
61:32It basal toot and has never shown that he has that ability.
61:35So just by process, process of elimination, it's gotta be LaQuinn Allen in Jacksonville.
61:40Yeah, it has to be. That makes him so valuable.
61:43Yeah. It's so he's got to, that's a, that's a fun best ball play, like end of the draft best ball play.
61:49And it's a great dynasty option. There's one, there's one backfield that rarely gets talked about.
61:54And it's one where I really want it to get consolidated around one guy.
61:58I just don't know if it will. And that's in, in new England.
62:02I mean, I'm, I love Travion Henderson. And whenever I look at where we have Travion Henderson and dynasty, it's, it's a
62:09little bit below consensus, but it's still very bullish.
62:12I'm like, wow, we're below consensus on Travion Henderson.
62:14We have an RB nine, right? If you, you look at the trending of the running backs going up and down and
62:21a Marion Hampton's flat and you have to go to RB nine before you get to a running back.
62:27That's actually trending down. And that's just because like the opportunity shared that he, he commanded last year was not what you
62:34would have thought for the sixth pick in the second round with an incredible pedigree coming out of Ohio state and all that explosiveness.
62:41I want him to take that next step. I want them to marginalize Ramadre Stevenson.
62:45I just don't see it happening. I don't either.
62:48I agree with you. And I feel like this, this is so similar to the, the Gibbs Montgomery situation in Detroit when
62:55Gibbs got drafted, Montgomery's there, everybody expects Gibbs to immediately take over.
62:58And that's not what happened. It happened over several years.
63:01And obviously he's a guy now, and that's kind of how I see this playing out in new England.
63:07I see you still having Ramadre there. He still has a role there.
63:11Um, you know, it's probably going to be a little bit more than you want as a Traviana Henderson, uh, dynasty owner,
63:18somebody that's going to draft him and redraft her best ball, but he's still going to have a spot there.
63:24You know, um, new England, they're, they're loyal to their, their guys.
63:27Right. And that's why you saw them giving Stevenson so many chances after all those fumbles and all those, uh, you know,
63:34like missteps last year, you still saw that. And that there's a reason why they still have them on the roster this year.
63:41And you know, like it's, it's just, you know, it's, it's like the other, you know, Travis, it's not a sexy pick, right?
63:48You're not excited about it, but he's going to be there.
63:51He's going to be productive and he's going to eat into what Henderson's going to have a little bit for right now.
63:58Maybe that's not always how it is. It's probably not.
64:01Henderson's probably going to take over as it goes, you know, especially this year, next year, those kinds of things.
64:07But I don't think it's going to be immediate.
64:10I don't think he's as dynamic as Jameer Gibbs.
64:13No, no, no. Not like Ramadre Stevenson. I can't believe it.
64:16He's just one of those players. There's certain players that I hate that I draft and he's one of them.
64:22He's there. There's, there's two big ones that I can think of at running back.
64:26It's Ramadre Stevenson. So I'm like, this is going to be a high octane offense.
64:31They can support two running backs and it's going to be a fairly even split.
64:36And so if you have Henderson way up here, you can't have Stevenson way down there.
64:40It doesn't make sense. Therefore, Stevenson is typically the value.
64:43And the same is true in Los Angeles with Lad McConkie and Quinton Johnston.
64:48I don't like Quinton Johnston. I love Lad McConkie, but Lad McConkie is so expensive.
64:52He's been steamed up so hard in all these formats, best ball especially, but also in dynasty.
64:57And meanwhile, Quinton Johnston gets no respect. That's partly because of me, me personally fading Quinton Johnston into oblivion.
65:03But at this point, I think we've done our job.
65:06I think we've faded him enough that he's become a value.
65:09We can be right on both sides of Quinton Johnston.
65:12We can be fading him when he's overvalued and then we can be bullish when he's undervalued.
65:18Yeah, I mean, I agree with you. I mean, like I don't like taking Quinton Johnston either.
65:23I think this year I'm a little bit more willing to buy into it with the new offense there, with McDaniel there,
65:29you know, just enough of a kind of a reset for them that I'm willing to do it this year and see
65:36what kind of difference it's going to be and just take that risk on him in that new offense.
65:42I know McDaniels has been really complimentary of him, been really excited about him and in all the reports lately.
65:48And I mean, you can get him in the seventh round.
65:51So, you know, it's just one of those where I think they're going to be a great offense.
65:57And if he shows, you know, up like he did last year, then that's a value to get him in the seventh round.
66:04That's a great pick. He's probably going to give you more spike weeks than Jordan Tyson.
66:08Poor Jordan Tyson. She's taking strays from us all day today.
66:12But Jordan Tyson, first round pick. Quinton Johnson, first round pick, but he's now acclimated to the league and he's in an even better offense than Jordan Tyson.
66:20How could it get better than New Orleans? Well, the Chargers, right?
66:24And now Ladd McConkie's got a hamstring strain. It's just like all adding up where it's like, oh, Quinton Johnson, he's going
66:31to be out there in two receiver sets. You know, 12 personnel is going to be a lot of Quinton Johnson and 12 personnel, even in 13 personnel.
66:39It's going to be Quinton Johnson. I'm going to be glad McConkie.
66:43Ladd McConkie is not going to be out there.
66:45They're going to try to go 13 personnel within Joku and Kohler and Gadsden with one receiver.
66:51And that one receiver will be Johnston in a lot of these formations.
66:54And he's going to score touchdowns out of these formations.
66:58This is going to happen. He's going to have these touchdown based spike weeks and he's going to pay off, especially in best ball.
67:05He'll pay off. He is. Yeah. I mean, that's not okay.
67:08So we have Olave. He's the perfect best ball receiver.
67:11Who did we mention before that? Oh, Thomas, BTJ.
67:14Yeah. Brian Thomas, Quinton Johnston, and Chris Olave. These are three of the top pure...
67:18If you created a best ball receiver in a lab, these guys would be there.
67:23This is what they would look like. Not so much Josh Downs.
67:27Josh Downs is the type of player that you just want in a high stakes league where you're setting your lineup every
67:33week and you just know 10 targets. I'm getting 10 targets from Josh Downs.
67:3710 targets, 10 targets. And on social media, I was playing with AI-generated quote graphics.
67:42They do really well. If you follow us on Facebook at all, our quote graphics on Facebook, they always get like 50 likes.
67:49People love these quote graphics. They hear like my hot takes in quotes and then respond with their own opinions and often disagree.
67:56And so those get a lot of engagement, especially on Facebook.
67:59They just love hearing... They love these quote graphics.
68:02And so I was like, well, what if I created a quote graphic before the show?
68:07Right? So that's what we're going to do. I already published it.
68:10It's already live. It's on... It's right on... It's on all social channels.
68:14At Fantasy underscore Mansion on Twitter X. You can go there.
68:18You can see it. I said before the podcast, I said, well, let's just create this graphic.
68:23Then I'll say it on the podcast retroactively that Josh Downs is the Lionel Messi of NFL wide receivers, you know, because he's small.
68:30Because he's small. And he's super quick. Yeah. And he's so good.
68:34He's so good at football. Oh, we got to get Wondell Robinson.
68:37He's underrated. Really? Last time I checked, Wondell Robinson has a big problem this year named Carnell Tate.
68:43Okay. Carnell Tate is a sports car. Carnell Tate, the news reports coming out, Carnell Tate, three straight touchdowns and OTAs.
68:49The cornerbacks said, we can't guard him. He's got...
68:52You guys are going to see something. You hear...
68:55That's not common. Like, you don't hear Chris Olave saying, y'all are about to see something special this year with Jordan Tyson.
69:01I haven't heard that. Okay? That's what you're hearing from the cornerback room in Tennessee.
69:06Y'all are about to see something special with Carnell Tate.
69:09Like, he's ready to go. He's already a seasoned professional.
69:12He's already polished. And he's already a star. Like, he's...
69:15This is a star. And so this idea that, oh, Wondell Robinson, because he has two straight seasons of 140 targets and
69:22the same offensive coordinator, Brian Dayball's back, going to feed him.
69:25No. What do you think is happening? Brian Dayball's, like, whispering in the headset to Cam Ward, make sure you talk about Wondell Robinson on this play.
69:33Even if Carnell Tate's open, make sure you throw it to Wondell Robinson, because I used to coach him in New York.
69:40That's stupid! That's a silly thing to say! Oh, because of Dayball, I'm going to be even more bullish on Wondell Robinson.
69:46And I'm not going to draft Carnell Tate this year, because I know that Dayball loves Wondell Robinson.
69:52Stop it! The number one read on every play in Tennessee this year is going to be, hello, Carnell Tate.
69:58And I'm not worried about any accuracy issues, because it's practice.
70:01And you want to experiment and be inaccurate, you do it in practice.
70:05And then in the games, you lock in. That's how it works.
70:09If a guy is super accurate in practice, and he's not taking chances, that's a concern, because that's the time you should be doing that.
70:16Start working that muscle. Get that muscle memory figured out in practice, so that you're more accurate in games.
70:22That's how it should work. And it's going to be Carnell Tate, Carnell Tate, Carnell Tate, and some Wondell Robinson, and some
70:29Alec Ayo Manor, some Gunnar Helm, some Tajay Spears.
70:32Sure. Sure, some DK. Sure, some Tony Pollard. Sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure.
70:36Whatever. Sure. But it's, don't get distracted. Don't get distracted.
70:39Don't let the accuracy issues distract you. Don't let anything but Wondell Robinson's coach following him to Tennessee distract you from the
70:45truth that is Carnell Tate is a stud. And it's going to be this year.
70:50And I think no one, you look at the dynasty rankings on Player Profiler, no one has a bigger disparity between Carnell
70:57Tate and Jordan Tyson than we do. I mean, I think it's the exception to the rule of, you know, don't get
71:03too taken with the rookies right away and don't think they're going to produce right away.
71:08There are exceptions to that. When there are top five picks, Stacey.
71:12When they are the top guys, that rule does not apply.
71:15Does not apply. Didn't apply to Saquon Barkley either.
71:18No, no. There's no way you're doing that. There's no way you're saying, I'm just going to wait to get Wondell.
71:24Look, I love Wondell. I think he has a great role, especially, you know, PPR guy.
71:29Love it. He has his specialty, his things that he's good at.
71:33He's not going to be Carnell Tate. They didn't bring him in to be Carnell Tate.
71:38They didn't bring him in to compete with Carnell Tate.
71:41They brought him in to compliment him. If Wondell Robinson commands 140 targets this year, I will eat this hat.
71:47I will eat it. I will eat it because no, no.
71:50Sure. I'll take the chance. Yeah. Carnell Tate could get injured.
71:53You could have like a Malik neighbors injury and then it's possible.
71:57Sure. Okay. That's possible, but I'll take the chance.
72:00I'll take the chance. It's not going to happen because it's not going to happen.
72:04I know it's not going to happen. It's not going to happen.
72:08It's not going to happen. So Josh Downs, on the other hand, 140 targets might be his floor.
72:13Sure. I'm excited about Josh Downs. I mean, he's one that I have a ton of exposure to.
72:19I love it. You know, you lose Pittman. Pittman had eight, 80, 80 receptions last year.
72:24You've already got, you know, Tyler Warren is already there established.
72:27He had 76 receptions. How much more can he get?
72:30You know, in that offense, will he take a few more?
72:33Probably. Sure. But I think, I think Downs is really the beneficiary to Pittman's departure.
72:38And I just, I just love taking Josh Downs at his value.
72:41I was just looking, I think eighth round where he's going with Xavier Worthy, Chris Godwin, Jordan Addison, those guys.
72:47I like, I like Josh Downs there. Godwin's going to be great too.
72:51I love, I love Chris Godwin. Yeah. Godwin's going to be great too.
72:55That's a tough choice for me. That one's tough.
72:58Don't make me choose. Don't make me choose. I would go Downs though.
73:02I would still go down. Draft a hundred best balls and you can just have 50 Josh Downs teams, 50 Chris Godwin teams.
73:09It's totally fine. Isn't it weird? This is, this is, I don't know how this became like, again, me laying out a
73:16case against all this coach worship in fantasy football, but sometimes it happens.
73:20Sometimes I, it's a muscle. I sometimes just have to work because I am the most anti-coach analysis that there is.
73:26Isn't it funny how the Wandale day ball connection, the, the, the sheer volume of times that that connection has been mentioned
73:33in fantasy sports analysis of Wandale Robinson and Tennessee dwarfs.
73:36The number of times people have mentioned the Daniel Jones, Josh Downs skill match.
73:40Like this is the perfect receiver for Daniel Jones.
73:43I mean, it is perfect. I mean, these guys talk about copacetic that is the, these are players that are actually on the field.
73:50We're talking about tendencies and skill sets that fit tendencies.
73:53That's a hell of a lot more meaningful predictive than who the new offensive coordinator is.
73:58These NFL teams change their offensive coordinator every, every year, man.
74:01Right. Right. Right. So much turnover. I can't, you know what?
74:04I still can't believe it. The Cowboys, they lost Kellen Moore and they still kept throwing Stacy.
74:10That's so weird. I can't believe it. I thought when they lost Kellen Moore, they would finish last in the league in past attempts.
74:17And then sure enough, they didn't. They even went as far as hiring Brian Schottenheimer of all, of all coaches, of all
74:23people to be, and then still high volume offense.
74:26Shocking, shocking. It's almost like it doesn't much matter.
74:29Matters a little bit. It's not much. It doesn't really matter.
74:32The one offense I've heard the least analysis of, I've heard no takes on this offense.
74:37There's no takes out there. There's no takes. I mean, even no news.
74:41Maybe the one news item I heard was that Dalton Kincaid is playing without a PCL and that every year the knee
74:48gets stronger and this is going to be his best year yet without the PCL.
74:52That's all I've heard from Buffalo. They got a new receiver in DJ Moore and DJ Moore's not dead yet.
74:58He's basically the Chris Godwin of the AFC, but also Colos Shakir is there.
75:03And Colos Shakir is one of those players where I look them up and I always expect to see more targets and more production.
75:10And it's just not there. It's just an, it's underwhelming, especially based on what DJ Moore did last year.
75:16Look how disappointing he was last year. It's such an underwhelming receiving core that's just carried by Josh Allen.
75:21I think for a lot of fantasy gamers, it's just uninteresting.
75:25But if any of these receivers can step up and be a focal point, whether it's Kincaid, whether it's Moore, whether it's
75:31Shakir, that player will have a lot of value in a Josh Allen offense.
75:36Yeah. I, with the Moore right situation, he had, I looked, I was like, what are, what were his numbers last year in Chicago?
75:43I'm just curious. Cause he played 17 games, 50 receptions, just 50, five, zero.
75:47That's it. I mean, he was checked out for the majority of the season, unless he played the Packers and then he
75:54decided to have game winning catches, but we don't need to go there.
75:58Um, you know, I, I looked at the bills receiving core last year and how many different receivers cop had nine different
76:04receivers cop passes, four different tight ends, four different running backs.
76:08I mean, they're just spreading it around everywhere with so many people.
76:11Um, I think Shakir gives you the most, you know, the safest kind of the most consistency.
76:16We don't really know what Moore is going to do.
76:19He's not, he's not coming in to be Stefan Diggs.
76:22Like when Stefan Diggs signed there, Stefan Diggs was way better than I think ideally they would like him to be.
76:29And I think there is an upside there, but what the news items are all about the news is all about.
76:35Oh, Keon Coleman. Like he's standing out. Is he that?
76:38I mean, like he just, I would think after the way things went down with him last season that he would have
76:45a pretty large hole to have to dig himself out of.
76:48No, no, no. He was an inactive. He's a game day inactive.
76:52You can't go from game day inactive for a playoff team that needs you to somehow them forgive all is forgiven.
76:58No, no, no, no. This is very different than the Quentin Johnson situation.
77:02These guys have similar draft capital or similar players.
77:05Like they're similar sort of players that are never going to fully break out.
77:09They're not going to have a thousand yard seasons in the NFL.
77:13At least Quentin Johnson, I believe will continue to be usable in best ball.
77:17Not Keon Coleman. It is over. It is over.
77:20The trust has been broken. The seal has been broken.
77:23It is over for Keon Coleman. And just by process of elimination, I do like DJ more this year.
77:28Yeah, I don't not like him. Let me just say that.
77:32I don't not like him. I just don't think that he's going to be what everyone's expecting him to be in Buffalo.
77:38I think it's more like a like a Kirkland brand.
77:41Stefan Diggs up in Buffalo there. Yeah. Yeah. Kirkland brand.
77:44Yeah. Yeah. You know, like, I mean, he's a little bit older.
77:48They're going to run the ball with Allen and Cook.
77:51You know, I mean, that's going to be the focal part of their offense.
77:55They're not relying on these guys. I mean, who was it?
77:59Like Bill Barnwell, ESPN, like rank them like what?
78:0129th or something out of the receiving cores in the NFL right now.
78:05That's not great. Okay. Let's figure it out. Okay.
78:08If they're 29, let's figure out who 30, 31 and 32 is.
78:12Raiders. Raiders have to be down there. Raiders are down there.
78:15Miami. So Miami is probably 32. I think Miami 32.
78:18Las Vegas 31. Are they counting tight end or not?
78:21I don't know. To be fair, I browsed. I did not read in depth.
78:25So. I think regardless, well, Cleveland has Fannin. Las Vegas has Bowers.
78:29Cleveland has Concepcion. I think it's close. I think it's close.
78:32I still, so I think we'll probably go maybe Cleveland 30, Las Vegas 31, Miami 32.
78:37That's my guess. I don't know. I don't, I never saw the list.
78:41I don't know. I want to, I want to say, I don't, I just don't have, I must've gotten rid of that.
78:48I must've, I must've closed that tab out, but I'm pretty sure it was those four.
78:53Right. Some analysts, they don't like, they don't like the Packers receivers.
78:56Right. I really like Jaden Reed. I really like Jaden Reed and I love Christian Watson.
79:01I think they're going to break out this year in a big, big way.
79:05More than they've broken out already. The, my hardest decision in startup so far has been Coker, Jalen Coker versus Jaden Reed,
79:12because these are very similar receivers in similar situations where you want as Bryce Young, not great.
79:17One is Jordan Love. Not great. Jordan Love's better than, than Bryce Young.
79:21Okay. There's a little less target competition in Carolina.
79:24So edge on the target competition goes to Coker edge at quarterback goes to Jaden Reed.
79:29They're similar age. Uh, Jaden Reed's got the draft capital.
79:32Coker was undrafted, but Coker has the extension. He already earned the extension.
79:36So it's like, oh, it's, it's so tough. Who do you got?
79:39This summer serve up the cookout classics, craft mayo and dressing.
79:43Toss green salads with delicious ranch dressing or zesty Italian.
79:46Serve smooth, craveably creamy potato salads with mayo. We all know it's not a cookout without craft.
79:51I like gum. I chew it all the time, every day.
79:54And lately I've been trying this underbrush from Nathan and Sons.
79:57It's remineralizing chewing gum, basically an oral care routine in gum form.
80:01You brush in the morning and at night, but after lunch, there's a big gap where most of us do nothing for our teeth.
80:08Underbrush is made for that moment. Chew it for five to 10 minutes, spit it out, move on, or keep chewing if you like the feel of it.
80:17It's made with hydroxyapatite, the same mineral your enamel is made from as well as natural saps like mastic and spruce.
80:23So it has that firmer, really satisfying chew to say it's all natural would be an understatement because they make it themselves
80:30from scratch in Northern California where the biggest, best trees are.
80:33I'm so glad I found this company when it's only a few years old and the team is literally making packing and shipping gum every day.
80:41So if you want a simple daily upgrade for your teeth that tastes great, check out underbrush order now at Nathan and sons.com.
80:48That is Nathan and sons.com. Try it now. Well, I mean, I feel like I'm going to be a homer here and
80:55I think I got to go Jaden Reed. Yeah, I liked it.
80:58And not that I don't like Coker. I do like Coker.
81:02I really do. And especially value with him and McMillan.
81:05But as far as Reed, I just think, you know what you're getting with him.
81:09Um, you know, I, I just, I like him a little bit, but I think he's got more of a role there,
81:16especially now that, you know, Dubs is gone. Um, Watson's going to take over, you know, as wide receiver one there.
81:22And then Reed just has a really great way to kind of come in, get those yards after catch.
81:28You know, he's, he's just almost like a Debo-esque kind of player.
81:32You know, he can get back there and kind of take that running back role a little bit.
81:37You know, after Tucker Craft got injured last year, once they got Reed back from his injury, he, he was the one
81:44in that, in that, um, wide receiver room that could replicate what Tucker brought to the table.
81:49Tucker Craft brought to the table more so than anybody else there.
81:52Um, so I think that he's a little bit of a special player in that regard.
81:57He kind of brings you something that not just your everyday receiver does.
82:01Um, so that's why I just kind of like him.
82:04I like, you know what you're getting with him.
82:07Um, I mean, I do love Coker. I think he's explosive as an electric player, uh, when he's out there.
82:13I just, I think I like the green Bay offense too, a little bit more than I like the Carolina offense right now.
82:20Reed's also more explosive and he has this unfair reputation of being a slot receiver just because that's where they deployed him
82:27previously, but they dumped a bunch of their receivers that were playing outside like Dontavian Wicks and Romeo Dobbs.
82:32And that's because they know, they know Reed can play out there.
82:36I saw him playing out there at the senior bowl and in college, he can absolutely play out there.
82:42He has the speed and he has the, the, the route running ability to, to beat alpha corners.
82:47He's also, like you said, he's a yak monster, super strong, super strong, lower body.
82:52He's an all around great player. And that's, that's what I love.
82:55I love at that point in startups, especially that Josh Downs, Coker, uh, Jaden Reed zone, Chris Godwin goes in that, uh, Devante Adams.
83:03That's a, that's the, that's the, that's, that's that, that, uh, that sweet spot, the ADP sweet spot where I'm always drafting wide receivers and dynasty startups.
83:11I love that, that Reed has this unfair characterization where I can get a, a, a super talented all around player in
83:18his prime at age 26 facing incredible vacated targets, enjoying vacated targets this year.
83:22So a lot of things are clicking into place for him.
83:25I think even more is clicking into place for him this year than even Jalen Coker, if you can believe it.
83:31Yeah. I'm Hey, listen, I'm, I'm all about that.
83:34Like the, the more, uh, good things, positive things I'm hearing about green Bay, the, the better I, I like it.
83:41So I was just looking up, um, as far as Dobbs go, he had 50 leader in receptions on the team last year, 55 receptions.
83:48So those are vacated. Um, you've got Don Tavian wicks had 30, so you're talking about 85 right there that are going
83:55to be up for grabs in this offense. Yeah.
83:57Tucker crafts coming back from a torn ACL. He's not gonna be a hundred percent early in the season.
84:03We'll see. Right. We'll, we'll, we'll, we'll, we'll see the plenty of opportunity for Jaden Reed this year.
84:09I'm very excited. He's going to be pretty volatile, but he's, he's not going to, he's not going to be this, this, this, you know, best ball play.
84:17We talked about Quinton Johnston best ball play. No, no.
84:20Jaden Reed more than that. Absolutely. More than that.
84:23In terms of tight end, we talked a little bit about guys like a late round tight ends like Juwan Johnson based on that situation.
84:30Arande Gadsden, big question. How much is he going to play with David and Joku there?
84:35David and Joku is probably going to miss a bunch of games given that he's on that trend.
84:41He's had a lot of lower body injuries and I don't see him staying healthy for 17 games.
84:46So I think Gadsden is really going to eat when, if, and when David and Joku misses games, you're going to see,
84:53you're going to see a pop from a Ronda gas.
84:56And I think even in general, he's going to be out there.
85:00They're going to be playing a lot of 12 personnel.
85:03He's going to be out. They're going to find ways to get them on the field.
85:07They're going to actually move them outside. Sometimes when Quinton Johnson's not out there, it's because Arande Gadsden is.
85:13Who is the rookie version of Arande Gadsden? There's going to be a guy that was drafted fourth, fifth round.
85:19Cause there's a bunch of good ones this year.
85:22Who's that guy this year. That's going to be this year's Arande Gadsden.
85:26Not even saying Fannin, forget Fannin. Fannin's a once every few years, these guys come along.
85:31I don't think we have a Fannin in this class, but I know, I know we have a Gadsden.
85:36I, you know, I, I'm looking at the guys that we were talking about here on our sheet and I love Justin Jolie.
85:43Love him. I don't know that it's, it's the landing spot for him, for me, that I'm not a fan of, of
85:50him in Denver there with, um, you know, with Sean Payton.
85:53I don't love that. Uh, I, I like Oscar Delp, right.
85:57But then you've got him teamed up with Juwan Johnson.
86:00I think Juwan Johnson is just too ingrained in that role.
86:03So I'm just worried about the opportunity there for Delp.
86:06Um, and I looked to, to see the saints.
86:09What was their use of 12 personnel last year?
86:12It was 20, it was 16%, which was 24th overall.
86:15So you don't love that. Um, you know, Eli Reardon.
86:18I like that a little bit more because they use Hunter Henry in such a great way.
86:23He's so involved in their offense. And I think that I looked at his age today because I was like, how old is Hunter Henry?
86:30Um, and he is, you know, on the wrong side of 30, especially, you know, like for NFL players.
86:36So I, I don't know. I might go, I might go Reardon.
86:40I might, I might think that they might, you know, if we're going to pick anybody, um, who's a super late round
86:46rookie tight end position, I think I'm going to go there.
86:50I'm going to go, I'm going to go Reardon first.
86:53Reardon is interesting. He really, he's very athletic. If we pull him up on the screen here, Reardon has nice athleticism across the board.
87:00Hunter Henry is on like, well on the wrong side of the age apex.
87:04Like we're talking about 30. I mean, the age apex for tight ends is 20, 27.
87:09So, and, and, and every time they called upon Hunter Henry, they called his number in a clutch situation.
87:15He flops. He's not up for it. Like where, where the Patriots want to go with this team.
87:20Hunter Henry is not going to help him get there.
87:23If Reardon can take a step up and be more productive than he was at Notre Dame, which I think he will be, right?
87:31He just, it wasn't a featured option at Notre Dame.
87:34He can grow into that role. He's six, six to 45.
87:37So he could add 10 pounds of muscle easily.
87:40I think, I think he's very interesting. I just have having the hardest time getting on my teams.
87:45Like he get, people are, are drafting him aggressively in rookie drafts.
87:49And even in startups, I'm much more likely to get an Oscar Delp or Justin Jolie.
87:54I think the guy that profiles closest in terms of comps to a Rondé Gadsden, the second would be Jolie.
88:00So I think if you go Raritan, I'm going to say Jolie as my final answer there.
88:05So do you have a truther, like a player in Dynasty that you just refused to drop?
88:10I mean, I think it would have been Jalen Coker.
88:13You know, we already talked about him a little bit, but he's just one that I just don't want to drop.
88:19Um, I don't, I don't like moving on from him every time I think, okay, do I need to, you know, either
88:26put him in a trade or, you know, something like that?
88:29Like I just, I just, I just ultimately, I can't do it.
88:33Um, so, I mean, I think it's going to be Jalen Coker.
88:37I just, I just really, he's, he's a very fun electric player.
88:40And I, I just, I don't know. I probably like him out of, out of all the receivers there and, um, in Carolina.
88:47I love that. Yeah. I mean, that's, that's, uh, that's my guy.
88:51So you're not going to, that's not news, but again, we're just building the hype machine around Jalen Coker.
88:57That's fine. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm here for it.
88:59It is. Oh, the Coker hive is, is, is here.
89:02We're the epicenter of it. Give us a bold prediction.
89:05Get us out of here. I don't know how bold this is, especially with all the Instagram videos that have been coming out.
89:12You can't start that way. You can't start this.
89:15You can't do that. I should have started a little bit better.
89:19All right. All right. I'm just going to say it.
89:22Um, we have seen the last of Brandon Iuke in the NFL.
89:25He is not going to be playing for Washington this year.
89:29Maybe we'll see him in Canada at some point.
89:31Uh, he's not gonna be playing in the NFL again.
89:34I don't think. There is a dating app called grinder.
89:37Isn't there? He's a dog and a human computer.
89:40He has that. That is my dog. Rio Rio.
89:43He has. Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile.
89:46Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited premium wireless for $15 a month is back.
89:53So I thought it would be fun if we made $15 bills.
89:57But it turns out that's very illegal. Uh, so there goes my big idea for the commercial.
90:02Give it a try at mintmobile.com slash switch. Upfront payment of $45 for three months, $90 for six months or $180 for 12 month plan required.
